REVIEWS OF Bearizona Wildlife Park IN Arizona

This is one of my favorite zoos that I've been to. The driving Safari part it was very exciting for my kids because you get to see these animals running around and playing and just being animals instead of being in a cage. As far as the walk around Zoo seeing local animals is very exciting. Zoos very well capped the staff is excellent the Raptor show that we got to see was hilarious and very informative and some beautiful rescue animals. All around A great experience

This was so amazing. My family and I are from Albuquerque NM & My client took his wife out here and highly recommend it. We loved the whole thing. It was amazing forever gonna remember

Bryan Martyn

Great experience! Small but very well managed group of animals. Enjoyed the bird show and the tour bus was definitely a plus. The price is the only thing keeping this from being a five-star rating.

Richelle Lusania

Our first time coming and the kids loved it. The bears where amazing and we got to see ALL of them gather around the truck because it was feeding time. We liked it so much we went through a second time. The flying Raptors show was also a blast! While there we had the fries smothered in cheese those where so good!

Christopher Vidaic

A lot of various animals to see. At the end of the drive there is a petting zoo and more animals to see. This is a great place to visit after seeing the Grand Canyon.

Dee Raine

We took our family visiting from out of state! We had so much fun! It started snowing we cut our visit short a lil bit but we will be back! Loved the

Nice drive through of partly rescued animals. Wolves, black bears all sizes, bison, white bison, big horn sheep and mountain goats. Some mule and coues deer. Walking zoo with small animals, bobcats, raccoons, turkey, otters in the water, jaguar, petting zoo, badgers, foxes, beavers and porcupine. Really good zoo food. Alcohol. Restaurant we didn't make and the biggest gift shop I've ever seen.

Miguel

A great safari for the family! A variety of animals you see only in books. Buffalo, Timber Wolves, and Brown Bears to name a few. We got here around 11AM and the animals in the safari were out and in view. We drove through twice before parking to see the other animals in the park. We also sat and watched a presentation on raptors with a few flying through during the lecture.

Sherry Sharbrough

It was amazing to see all the wonderful animals!! Everyone that worked there were very helpful and knew so much about all the animals.

Polina Karpinska

It was a very good and interesting experience. It so amazing to see animals in their world.

Karin Michelle

What can I say that hasn't been said yet?! We had a blast! My kids 2 and 4, really enjoyed the entire place. We were able to see a lot of animals. My older child even got to feed the otters.

Annalise Lake

The animals were very active and the food is great. I love the woodsy vibes.

Burton van kirk

Great staff, great exhibits, great family outing, the driver of the bus was amazing, great job of knowing the history of every animal they have. Jaguar exhibit was priceless. So close my wife saw "nacho" below the window and jumped. My children can't wait to go back.

Dave Ontiveros

Very cool place. Kinda pricey, $65 for me, my wife and son, but they let you stay all day. Drove through twice, each pass took about 40 minutes. Walked the inside which had lots of animals too. The drive was more fun, tons of activity from the animals. Bears were pretty tame today.

Sandra Molina

Love this place, but I do miss the radios that give you a tour guide as you ride along. Also sometimes when it's too hot out for the animals expect to not see so much action fall/winter season may be the best time to visit.

Jody

The park is fun. A bit pricey. We went mid afternoon on a Monday. It wasn’t really busy. We drove our car through and did the walk through side, didn’t ride on the bus. Animals roam “ free” in the drive thru part, but they are separated by fences and there is the pole grates at each new section like what is used for cattle to keep them from going in to the roads. We saw different animals and lots of bears

Emily R.

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They offer numerous discounts for students or seniors too. It was a great family experience and I would recommend it to anyone

Angie Steinbach

We loved Bearzona! We arrived at the end of Oct. 2019. The drive thru safari was great. The animals were all in view. Then we went to the walk through park. The raptor show was amazing! Public facilities were clean. Gift store. One of my favorite places was quite large. And reasonably priced. Food venues satisfying. Big cats. Beautiful. We will enjoy a return visit.

M Foster

Smaller than I expected but still worth it. Bears and wolves both came right up to the vehicles. Enclosures were also smaller than expected but it keeps the animals within view. Loved the otters in the walk- thru area.

John Gerber

Bearizona takes in rescue animals. Make sure to take the bus tour. The bus is like an ice cream truck to many of the animals with the driver tossing out some treats. The animals will come to the bus and you will get a safe up close experience. You can drive your car through, but the animals will mostly ignore your car (which is a good thing). While nice, it is not the same experience as the bus tour. Plus, you will learn a great deal from the knowledgeable drivers.

Chuck Barnes

Extensive wildlife park, really well done. One can drive among a huge range of wildlife (windows closed, all doors locked) and those loops take an hour or more. Also casual food, nice restrooms and frequent wildlife talks/demos that are free, as is parking. Admission fee yi get in. Worth every penny!

Wade Walker

Stopped by here on a road trip back home and it is hands down one of the coolest places I've been to since the start of my trip. The gift shop is huge and the prices for things are fair. Also, the Native gift shop is absolutely worth stopping at as well. Excellent prices and the gentleman who runs it is really easy-going, well-traveled, and friendly. I also got this really sweet handmade Navajo bracelet while there. Absolutely worth the stop.

Jennifer DeVoss

Very GREEN! BEAUTY OF THE WILD in natural habitat. Separate territories for safety and health of the residents. The BEST way to teach children about the purpose of conserving endangered species. Parents chill out while seniors can relax by k embracing life.

Michael G.

The zoo is well maintained and the animals have lots of room to roam about. Check the schedule when animals are feeding, sleeping, and other show times before you go so you get more out of your drive. We went around noon so most of the animals such as the wolves were napping. The bears however, did not disappoint. There are lots of bears, some even soaking in pool of water or tub. The bears alone made this place worth seeing. I recommend this place as a family friendly destination, especially for little kids.

Garrett Gower

I was driving down the highway from the grand canyon when I saw their billboard. Decided to check it out. Best $25 ever spent! You get to see so many different animals in large spaces when driving through (bears, wolves, deer, and more) Their walk up animal park also had many different kinds of animals (otters, jaguars, goats, and many others). Their restaurant and gift shop is amazing as well with elaborate decorations and detail. Fun for the whole family. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in northern Arizona.

Pamela Krakowski

Love this place!! If you like wildlife just go. No need to give any details!!

Rebecca Hurt

This place is worth every penny it costs to get in. The park is really great. There is a walk through part and a drive through part. The staff really loves working there and you can tell. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The park takes extremely good care of their animals and it is obvious the animals welfare is priority one. They have shows and if you time it right, you can see them all in 1 day. All shows and both parks are included in the entry price...what a deal! They also have 2 great gift shops, a snack bar and an amazing restaurant (not included in the entry fee). My family highly recommend Bearizona!!

Jessica Murphy

Bearizona is my favorite place in the world. If I could spend everyday there, make it my career and able to support my family I would do it in a moment. I live 3 1/2 hours away and take the trip at least 6 times a year and would go every weekend if I could. It's my go to for friends and family when they visit and my mom and I go whenever we're able. Last weekend I had visitors and we took the trip again. This time when we left we decided to ask about the season pass. It's $200 for 12 months and they took the receipts for our visit that day and we only ended up paying $62 for 12 months!!! This covers a car load of people each visit. Because we would take our van that is 7 people we can get in free! The bus tour through the park is amazing. The love that your guides have is heartwarming. They know the names of the animals, their stories and how they ended up being rescued and brought to the park. You can see the passion for their job and keeping the animals safe and healthy. The enrichment they give to the animals is more than you could ever hope for. They special things they give them for holiday treats and daily puzzles the animals solve to get through their little blocks of ice with blood or fresh meat is cute to watch, the pumpkins and extra treats the animals get to keep them busy and keep them sharp is beyond amazing. You can see that the animals are happy and very healthy. Going through the park on your own is probably my favorite part. I always take my visitors on the bus ride first, go through the zoo and then we ride through in our car. We usually end up going through 4 or 5 times on our own before the park closes for the day and we get the best pics at that time. Everyone is always happy and chattering about the visit the whole 3 hours home and we all leave with a smile on our faces that is still there when we get home. I think everyone needs to experience this rescue park at least once in your life and I can pretty much guarantee it will not be your only visit.

Robert Carper

Nice drive through zoo one of the biggest I've been to. After the drive through we went to the walking zoo. The have local brewed beer. Very friendly staff. Also have great eateries

Kevin Hicks

this is a great location to visit with the family or anybody. Have a great set out in the drive-thrus really nice. The walk-through area is great in the bird show is pretty funny. for this location only being about 9 years old they're in a great job of keeping the place really nice, and they're adding more attractions as we speak. I had a recommend that you take a look.

Hunter May

Absolutely great wildlife park! Driving through the bear park to see the animals is a really good time, the trainers are all very knowledgeable and care for the animals, and very affordable. Also, a huge shoutout to Bearizona and their representative Ariana! My wife and I purchased some items from the gift shop while visiting from out of town, and we accidentally left the items in our hotel room and they were thrown away. I emailed Bearizona and they were extremely accommodating to me as I asked if I could repurchase the items and pay to have them shipped. They showed excellent customer service to us and even provided us with a discount. We received the items today in the mail and we could not be more satisfied. Thank you Bearizona!!

Michelle Dettlaff

The park is clean and beautiful. The animals all look health and happy. Great place for the entire family!

Mary Ann Watson

Better than most zoos. Well worth the entrance fee. Spotless grounds, friendly staff. I would recommend this attraction to anyone of any age.

LeaAnn Benzer

Bearizona is so fun. We did the at night and had a blast! Definitely worth the extra cost so fun. Jen was our tour guide and she was great. We will definitely be back.

brian waddell

Great place! Fun for the whole family! Get up close with bear's, wolf's and other wild life. Great restaurant and gift shop. If you haven't been you should definitely check it out. If it had been a while since you have been you need to check it out again. Many new things have been added the last couple years and they are still growing

Roger Hernandez

This place is super amazing! If you are ever in Arizona this place is a must! You see wild life in their nature being themselves. The have tons of bears from cubs to full grown bears and other animals all enjoying their freedom surrounded by nature. The train at the museum is also a must do. They tell you information on the park and also the animals that live there. The staff here is super friendly. I will definitely return here on our next Arizona trip.

Denise Shinn

Took our grand daughters for there birthdays and really enjoyed both sides of the park. Got a bit hungry so stopped in for a little bit at the snack bar. 2 corn dogs, 2 hot dogs, 1 fry, 2 large teas. I had to take back the fries, soggy & cold, if my grand daughters weren't so hungry everything would of gone back, paid +$40.00 plus for yucky food. They weren't busy so cook by order would of worked. Would of got 5 stars if snack bar was better quality!

Jessica Ashley

What a fun experience! Highly recommend to family’s and going on the trolly is a lot of fun! Experience everything as many times as you want for the day!

Toshi Anand

This Zoo is one of its kind. The Zoo is divided into 2 sections. One is a drive through where you can spot bears, wolves and other animals walking around the area. Of course you cannot get out of the vehicle but it is almost like driving in a forest and spotting wildlife. The other sections is a walking trail like other zoo but it is also fun. The zoo is very well maintained. The Zoo has bears, wolves, white peacock, fox, otters, beavers, black panther and some other animals. Overall it was fun.

Nailsbyjandy

The drive through part is great you see a different animals and the bears will get very close to your vehicle at times. the walk through part is also nice with all the animals they have. They also have a barn where you’re able to touch some of the animals. TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY.

Roger Hubbard

Very fun...loads of animals. Had a great drive through experience along with the Walk tour area. Highly recommend

Ryan Peck

Fun place for kids. Be sure to show up prior to 2pm in order to experience the presentations. The park is constantly growing and will be fun to see where it gets to in 2 more years.

kim meza

I didn't like how some of the animals were caged up in such small areas but others had so much more space. But the bus there was pretty fun.

Tracy Wesolek

Bearizona is a great way to spend the day. Starting with the drive-through part of the park, you can get a (sometimes) up-close view of the animals. After that you can park and walk through the zoo-like area. With special talks and birds of prey shoes throughout the day, there's always something to see. Only downside is the cost of concessions. Bring your own snacks and spare the wallet!

Kellie Sillin

What a great time we had! Upon entering the park you get to drive through the woods and see bears, bison, deer and elk, wolves, and some other cool animals UP CLOSE! It's amazing! You won't NOT see animals (unless maybe the bears are in hibernation? not sure how that works in the winter). That leads you to a parking lot where you can enter the second part of the park. It's like a much better zoo plus you are in the woods so it's just lovely. The raptor show is a must see! Try to get a seat in the middle :) We stayed longer so we could see it twice. Then drove through once more. You could easily spend 3-4 plus hours here. There's a huge gift shop and restaurant for hungry and or thirsty guests as well as another little quick restaurant that serves hot dogs and such. There are animal demos throughout the day and an area with cute little goats running around that you can hangout with and pet.

Robb Pinegar

Really enjoyed this park, especially the opportunity to drive through and see wildlife up close. Had two teenage children with us, and wondered if they'd be interested given their ages, but both enjoyed that up close experience as well. Birds of Prey was a blast. Will know better next time where to sit to get the "immediately over my head" experience.

Green Beach Sox

So much fun! Adults, teens and toddlers loved it We only drove through once. The walk through was amazing I look forward to going back again!!

Chris Goff

This was one of the coolest parts of our Grand Canyon visit. A surprisingly polished and comprehensive zoo/theme park with drive-through bear enclosure. My kids loved our visit, getting a close and safe look at bears and wolves, as well as leopards, buffalo and elk.

Rob Pendergraft

Its name sounded a little cheesy. Had a down day on vacation and decided to try it. Actually was really interesting and a lot of fun. They do have a lot of different animals

Karen Robertson

A beautiful place to visit. Lots of bears to see. Raptor show was amazing

Jennifer Rich

Cool adventure! The annuals got really close. Close enough to feel scared, they were amazing to look at. The bears, wolf's and cheetahs were the best!

Phillip Branscum

Had a really enjoyable time here. We went at probably the wrong time of day as some of the animals weren't out, but there was still plenty to see. They have almost any animal that you would think about being from the southwest. Black Bear, Wolves, Bison, Javelinas, etc. Great place.

Lyn Evans

We loved it! So most e to be able to drive through slow enough to see as the driver! Kept 3 kids looking everywhere! The walking tour was good and the birds of prey show was new and different to us. So glad we took the day and wenr!

Nicole Massar

Worth every penny! The plethora of animals and all of their enclosures were quite a sight! They recycle old buses, cars, etc. by making them into walls and covering them with material to make it look like rocks/mountains. The Wild Bus Ride, Raptor show, and keeper talks were very interactive and informative. My entire family had a blast.

Jennifer Flynn

Bus ride is a must!!! Friendly staff, loved that there was a "zoo" part too for the kids to run and explore. Can't wait to go back!

April

This place was awesome. One of the best attractions we have been to and we have been to thousands all over this country. Was good just seeing the animals and how they rescued them. You must go on the free bus, you learn so much more then when you just drive your self. The walking through of the park is wonderful. Loved the baby bears playing up in the trees. Well worth going to.

Kirsty Jardine

Had a great time wandering round looking at the otters, bears and and jaguar. The bird show in particular was so good and the other shows were worth attending too (e.g. otter feeding). The drive through was a great experience, getting so close to bears, wolves and bison etc. Highly recommended for all ages.

David Spahn Jr

Took my son on vacation to see the grand canyon and before we left Williams we came here and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing. Wildlife within feet of your car, the employees and shop reps were so polite and helpful I was simply amazed. This to me was worth the trip to Northern Arizona by itself and will be back soon

Tracy Wesolek

$25 for adult admission, not sure how much for children, but they do offer military discount. The food is a bit pricey but it's worth it, because the food was delicious, the environment is unique, and the employees are nice and helpful and seem happy; well except for one, but you never know what people are going through. My wife and I spent $40 on two decent sized salads and two refillable drinks. Salads were so big we couldn't finish them and we were hungry. I visited the park early October. The drive through the park was awesome! So awesome we did it twice. The bears and the wolves do approach vehicles, so no worries about them being shy. Make sure the windows on your vehicle are clean and you are able to reduce reflections and glare if you like to take photos because you're not allowed to have the windows down during the bear or wolf exhibits. Next time I visit this park or another like it, I may mount a few GoPro's to the vehicle, maybe install a dash cam, there was so many cool things that happened that I wish I caught on camera, like when a bear walked in front of the vehicle in front of us and sat down in front of the vehicle and clapped his paws. We had to maneuver our vehicle to get around the bear. Anyway, I can go on and on, this place is definitely worth visiting.

Kerri Irving

At first I was a little turned off by the price, but SO worth it. Kids loved it as well as the parents. Has something for everyone

C Smith- Winz

They are still adding on to park, some stuff is under construction... mom and kids love walking around and seeing tye animals they do have and watching the shows... the bus ride tells you more about the a animals than you riding around in your car

chris h

All staff is great and friendly, they get 5 stars! Animals seem well cared for, and overall pretty clean. Let down is the size of the park and quantity of animals for the price, wishes they charged per vehicle and not per person...

Gene Siepka

Second time visiting. Always a great time there. Even though you can drive through the park yourself, its worth hopping on one of the shuttles to have the guide explain more about the park.

Aimee Dolan

So much fun! Great place to see animals. Very fun drive through and a walking areas. Fun coffee and adult beverage specials available as well.

Daem Good

I would have given five stars but I'm just a bit concerned that even though this is a wild life reserve, there may not be enough space for the sheer amount of bears they house. Dont get me wrong, theyre doing a really good thing. My husband and I had a wonderful time on the flashlight tour. We'll definitely back! Since Bearizona is still rather new it will be cool to see how things develop!

Kellie Sillin

We loved our trip here. The animals all looked well taken care of. The bus tour was great. The Raptor bird show was awesome! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Sandie ONeal

This was the best adventure in our vacation!!!! It is absolutely phenomenal. We will be back

Aaron Johnson

Incredible!!! So many animals so close. We saw some bison chase a truck which was just awesome. The wolves got right up next to our car. The bears at the end were great. Totally worth the drive from Phoenix. Highly recommend this place. Birds of prey show was just excellent.

Katherine Broyles

This was such a fun experience to go see and drive among the animals. I went in late July, so animals were for the most part relaxing and staying cool in the shade, but sometime in the afternoon when we decided to drive in the park the bears were very active and fun to watch.

Tyson Willard

Epic wild life park. It was our first time going and we loved it. You will want to take the bus tour as you will get the best views of the wild life as they walk right up to the bus to get a treat. Also go to the flight show it's awesome how they fly right over your head. We could tell that this place is building new and better attractions. If you havent been in a while go again. We are at the restaurant it was pretty good and prices were not to bad.

Craig Dewell

This place was awesome. The kids (ages 9, 5 and 3) absolutely loved the whole park. It was crazy just how many bears there were. They are also doing a ton of upgrades and changes currently to make things even better. I highly recommend seeing the birds of prey show, the Euro-Asian owl flew so close to me that the edges of its one wing hit my face. Definitely a memorable place to visit.

FSM &

This place is awesome. You can drive, take buss bus tours and more. Highly recommend it.

kendra baltins

Fun place, saving animals and keeping them in a semi natural habitat. Very welcoming. Not a polished environment. Money is spent on the animals more than the walkways. I appreciate that!

Terri Cranford

Bearizona was fun! Lots of bears to see and all in all it was a great place to spend time with my grandkids.

Socorro Luna

Best place ever. If you appreciate wild life and nature you get to drive with your car through the bears and wolves. The price is better than the zoo and the animals look way better than the poor animals at the zoo. A must stop if you drive by Arizona

Dawn Bliss

The smell of the pines is so overwhelmingly fresh. You can't help but feel at ease and enjoy every moment of the park. Watch the bird show! They fly just above your head. Cute Native American gift shop with decently priced items. Took the 11 month old, so great for any age.

Yongqiang Li

Bearizona is a zoo of its own kind: small but very uniquely set up. The one hour drive around the open area is full of delights with dear, bisons and bears strolling here and there, many right in front of the car. After the open area, you walk into a boutique zoo. The raptor show is a must!

Penny Scherzer

What a sleeper surprise! It was recommended to visit by family and she was not wrong. Love the rescue effort by this place. The staff is great and friendly. The facilities are clean and well maintained. This is a place to really watch as they continue to grow.

brendalyn aguirre

Great family fun with lots of critters you don't normally have the chance to see up close. You can walk through the park and peek into enclosures or drive through or both! Fun shows, enough to see for a good afternoon with the family. Worth the price !

Shannon Speelman

Very nice park to drive & to walk around to view the animals. Well maintained. A park we will return to in the future.

Betsy Wiedenfeld

Oh what fun! There's a drive through part, and a walk through. You're able to get pretty close during the drive through, and the presentations they give are very informative!!

Tina Breaux

This place blew all of my expectations! From the gloomy teen, the anti social man, and the critical me ...we all seriously loved this place. The animals had nice large enclosures, fresh food & water, and are living in social groups. The staff were great. Gift stores are loaded and fun to shop. The main restraint was so unique, great drinks, amazing jaguar enclosure view, and the food was spot on! I recommend: GO, it's fun for all ages. Go early when the animals are most active. Make a day of it. See the shows. Take extra time walking and do the drive at least twice. Lots of shade and picknick tables. Their is even grass to rest on.

jaasynergy8

This was a mini Yellowstone drive and more fun than the zoo! A great adventure for the whole family...beautiful drive included. And not far from Flagstaff or Williams where both places would be great to stay overnight. There are great places to eat in Williams too!

Jeremy Perez

It is awesome here, first time going and it was well worth it. Good amount of animals a small petting zoo also and might get lucky and see a white peacock walking around loose. Jaguar enclosure is very beautiful and has great views of these big cats. Nice restaurant and bar plus fast food also available hot dogs, soft pretzels, coffee, nachos and fries. Great place for all ages and all animal lovers.

Delia Hall

Fantastic park, great staff and lots of healthy, happy animals. Recommend the Wild Ride bus tour. Learned much about the specific variety of animals and got a chance to get up close to watch them and take pics. The grounds are just beautifully laid out and I totally enjoyed the cool stroll under the Pines and all the gorgeous flower pots and planters. High emphasis on recycling and the creative ways the park reuses resources to enhance itself and the animals.

Justin

Great place. It's an experience that you can't get anywhere else. Park is very well kept and updated. Not a huge variety of animals but it is very interesting. The walking part has wonderful exibits. The drive though part it a lot of fun. I would recommend the bus ride if you have the time. They feed some of the animals so you can get the animals to come right up to the bus. It is also very informative. Watching the JR bears come running for food was an amazing site to see. The raptor bird show was great as well. Over all a great experience. I would recommend stopping buy if you are going to Flagstaff or the grand canyon.

Sean McNabb

A really great place to visit, I've taken my parents, my nieces, and friends. If you live in there area get a season pass. It cost the same as 4 people and everyone in the vehicle is free for the entire year. And a discount in the gift shop.

CC Lile

So amazing! First time going, so great getting to see all the animals will definitely recommend to family and friends

Moap Chan

Wow! What an amazing wildlife park! Nothing like it! Bears, Buffalo, and Wolves all walking right around your car as you drive through, and the petting zoo and exhibits at the end are fantastic with very lively animals. The best part is, admission lets you take the drive through portion of the park as many times as you like!

Melody Durham

My husband and I had the best experience... And everyone was so very helpful and friendly... We can't wait to go again

Jonathan Davis

This was a great experience. The park is pretty expansive. Took about 15 to 20 minutes to drive though, but they also had a walk though section with quite a few exhibits, including a petting zoo. There was also a large gift shop and restaurant, prices of which were on par with other similar attractions, though we did have the pretzel bites, which were a higher quality than most other places with similar fare. Restrooms were clean and, overall the facilities were very nice. Definitely not just a side attraction, it certainly something to see

Joshua Tatum

Love going here! Great park! Fun for the kids and adults. Very friendly staff. Prices are a bit steep. Lower the prices and sell more stuff! Then 5 stars!

Indira Susetyawati

I never seen a wolf before. And its pretty close to my car, felt so amazing. And the bears are many, love it! Its worth to visit while you around Williams, AZ

Joe Cool

This is a nice day trip from Phoenix. Williams AZ is about 2 and a half hours from Phoenix. There is a drive through section where you can see the animals in somewhat of a natural environment. The bears were very active on the day I went. There is a walk through area that is more of a zoo setting but nice. This is on the way to the Grand canyon and very close to the Grand canyon railway. Definitely worth a look see.

Mike Campbell

Had a lot of fun. Loved the up-close and personal interaction with the animals. My daughter loved being able to feed to otters (which was included with admission). Being able to go through the park multiple times was nice. We didn't eat at the park and didn't get to see the shows.

Elizabeth Soroy

So much fun. Loved the animals and the bird show. The bears was amazing, and I was very close to them inside my car...

CJ P

So much fun to get up so close to the animals! Well maintained and lots of helpful employees. Don't miss out on the free trolley tour and the birds of prey show!

Bianca Chambliss

Very cool. A reindeer, bear and wolf walked right up to our car and a couple wolves started howling. So cool. Would definitely go back.

Paul Racette

Totally unexpected fun for the kids. Very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend a couple hours to your GC trip. Lots of animals in a healthy setting.

Cindy Peterson

1st time here and it was awesome. It was both a walk around zoo and a drive thru one which was really cool never done a drive thru zoo before and getting to be up close with the animals was a real experience and a little scary but fun. The kids enjoyed all the animal exhibits and even fed the otters.

Wesley Temple

Awesome experience. The animals were very well taken care of while also pretty accessible for viewing. Park was clean and we'll kept, and the expansion construction was well hid. Shows were informative and exciting. Great vendors as well.

Tony Tucson

Excellent place to visit. The cool pines are a welcome relief from the Arizona heat. Lots to see not just bears. The hiking walk area is handicapped accessible and has plenty of areas to sit and rest. Restaurants to stop and have a snack or lunch

Natalie Filipic, CPSP

Awesome, loved it. Lots of bears! Drove through a second time before leaving (around 3:00) and it was dinner time, they feed the bears along side of the road so they were really you close... we all had a great time.

Brian Johnson

Always love it here. The new additions are absolutely fantastic. Love the new otter habit, gift shop and panther enclosure. This place is such a treat and at a bargain price.

travel love

Not all what it's cracked up to be. Just a drive through to see a few animals. then a gift shop and restaurant. Food wasn't that great and very expensive. I'd say it just a tourist trap. Wolves looked super skinny.

Dave Simonson

We love coming to the Williams area, and this is just one of our favorite attractions. The bus tours through the park are informative as well as entertaining. Great place for families--the kids love seeing the animals so close. We come every year and enjoy seeing new features and improvements that are being made. Wonderful time!

Tonique Smith

Bearizona is a great family place for the old and young. It is truly breath taking to see the animals (not caged) in there true natural protected inhabitant. You can spend an entire day visiting with the additional features and restaurants available.

Richard Berry

Fun place to visit. Great staff members. I Loved all the animals, and the gift shop was outstanding.

Steven Strevell

Such a fun place, came here after visiting the Grand Canyon and had a blast. I would totally reccomend this place to my friends, I have showed off photos of the animals and videos I took and everyone loves them. Made for a very fun "zoo-like" experience but much cooler with the ability to drive around and see the animals.

Nicolas Merritt

We have been here twice and both times we had an absolutely wonderful time. We spent all day just taking our time and seeing everything including educational presentations. The food was good and wasnt over priced at all. They have a large gift store with something for everyone. My favorite was the birds of prey display. Our family will most definitely be going back to visit Bearizona again.

Natasa Tanasic

It was an amazing experience. Driving through and looking at the animals and then going to the actual place where you can walk, there was a birs show, more animals to look at and also a petting zoo. My son loved it.

Jorge Rayas

Had a great time visiting. Spent about 4 hours at the park. My toddler was very entertained. We are definitely coming back.

Joshua Fletcher

Super fun place to come and enjoy the outdoors. Kids love being able to drive through the enclosures. Staff is friendly and helpful. Having to walk through the gift shop and restaurant to get to the jaguar enclosure was a little much, but understandable. We come up several times per year from Phoenix. Plan on spending a couple hours if you plan on doing the drive through as well as walking. .

Kc Payne

I've been to Arizona once only life and stopped here on the way back home. I would recommend this stop to anyone. Even if it's out of your way home.

Austin Harrison

Great except guests should follow the rules through the trail. When the sign says, "DON'T STOP YOUR VEHICLE ON THE TRAIL," that means don't stop. We were scared that the animals might damage our rental car when we had to stop behind them. Wonderful park for the family though!!!

Conrad Castellino

on hwy. 40 between William's and Flagstaff . a great for a break. kids will love it. several wild animals including bear, bison, peacock, bobcats, big horn sheep, and others. the air is so cool, surrounded by tall pine trees. walk or drive through the park. friendly attendants.

Kevin Everson

So much fun! Getting to see all the animals up close is a unique experience! Staff is friendly! Bird show was amazing! Food tastes great! Love the live music and gelato! A must visit park!

J. Long

Nice place. Experience the drive thru, bus tour & walk through. Clean bathrooms. Ample parking. Restaurant available. Tour guides nice. Bus tour(may want to take bandana for dust. Bus doesn't have windows).

Michael Gilbert

The most fun otter experience! You actually get to feed them!! The drive through tour was awesome too...the bears, wolves, deer, goats, and bison get right up next to the bus. Oh! And definitely do the "wild ride" tour instead of driving through yourself ;)

Mary Sue McCoy

Excellent Wildlife park! Well cared for animals. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Pleasant relaxing environment.

Laura Dobbins

Great place for family fun. Interesting and fun for all ages. The facilities are very nice. It's a quality opting operation. Highly recommend.

Vicki Reynolds

Loved the new improvements. New Raptor show, new Restaurant and Souvenir shop, new area with Jaguar. Loved the wolves in the drive thru park. They had to smell each vehicle before they let them past. Loved the bear swimming in the pond, but unable to get a picture. Walkways improved in the walk through areas. It has been two years since I was last at Bearizonia. Very much improved!

Gabby Rodriguez

Pretty cool experience. 50 dollar entrance fee but worth it if you are able to walk around the back part of the zoo. Animals looked happy and well taken care of. No dogs allowed in the walking portion but they are allowed in the car tour portion! That's nice :)

Patricia Encinas

It was a great experience for all the family. Bird show was the best! Food at the restaurant was really good... Highly recommend this place

Shannon Cornejo

What a great experience! I have a special needs child, so the fact that we could do a wildlife park from our own vehicle was amazing. You can go through the park as many times as you wish. The enclosures were huge and the animals didn't seem depressed like at other zoos. The park itself is beautiful and the staff was super friendly. The price is not bad at all. We got some wonderful videos to bring home as well. Go here!

Patricia Hull

What a wonderful place to spend the day! Great entertainment for all ages. Beautifully made, generous animal enclosures. Employees are happy, friendly and knowledgeable. We drove ourselves through first thing in the morning, walked through the exhibits partially then took the bus ride. Very glad that we did take the bus as it was easier to see and photograph the animals, especially the bears in the trees! Our bus driver was very informative. Upon completion of the bus ride, we enjoyed the raptor show, otter feeding, petting zoo and other exhibits. One of our favorite experiences was watching one of the free-roaming white peacocks outside of the bobcat enclosure teasing the cats. Hilarious! Not to be missed is the very large jaguar exhibit outside Canyonlands Restaurant. The restaurant is counter-ordering with inside/outside seating. At first we thought it was a bit pricey, but food was tasty and quite generous portions. The gift shop had an immense variety of great gift options. Walking around after lunch we encountered our bus driver who recommended driving through again in the afternoon to watch the animals eating close to the road. Bears EVERYWHERE, UP CLOSE. One of the things we REALLY APPRECIATED about Bearizona was being able to have such a high quality experience without being asked for more money at every turn...you get to enjoy it all for one admission price! Thank you Bearizona!

Patrick Burnham

This animal park is one of the best animal parks I have ever been to. The staff are nice and knowledgeable, the animals look great and have great enclosures. The facilities are clean and make you feel like you are in an amazing wood cabin. The drive through animal experience was AMAZING. We got up close to Arctic wolves, bears, bison, deer, big horned sheep and more. The animals didn't bother the car and we were able to drive through many times to see the animals again and again. Even the walk through was an amazing experience. The otters and Badgers were our favorite. We visited in late October so there were few crowds but chilly temperatures. They had plenty of places to buy food and snacks to warm you up. I would travel back to Williams just to go back to Bearizona!

Nathan Dewitt

Worth the trip and the money. You got up close and personal with the wildlife and the bears and wolves would walk right next to your car. Highly recommend.

Aaron F

Excellent wildlife part that is continually growing. 37 black bears, several wolves, bison, mountain goats, and two jaguars to name the larger animals. They have many smaller animals indigenous to Arizona as well including a raptor show. Worth the money and time spent

Christian Schrader

I didn't know what to expect but was extremely happy and surprised how awesome everything was. We drove through twice, saw every animal they had. The rest of the sites you walk to were fun and the shows were entertaining and informative. Also, the jaguars were incredible. Go to the second floor of their habitat, we were essentially face to face with the spotted jaguar!

Jason Metcalf

Call it 3.5. Did not like the No same day return policy as we have a young child. Very cool drive thru attraction and name. More frequent bus tours would be nice. Every two hrs is too long. I was expecting to have more to do.

Victoria Crupe

Awesome, awesome, awesome place to visit with the family!! I cannot even put into words how much we enjoyed our visit. We can't wait to come back again and again for years to come!

Rose Shrum

What a fun, little adventure! Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. We had our 2 small dogs with us, so we only did the drive through option and it was wonderful! The drive through portion is about 160 acres and the walk through area is about 20 acres.

Martin Rudolph

Pricy, but the kids loved it. The drive through part was their favorite part, and it was plenty long. The walk through part was a bit lacking as some of the exhibits were empty. The shows however are amazing, very informative and the kids loved seeing the animals up close.

Alondra Salvatierra

We loved it! Drive thru zoo is a plus when your going with kids. They get really excited.

Seattle Washington

We were recommended this experience by a family friend. There were 5 of us in the van and we drove up, having no idea what the price was as it was not posted anywhere near the entrance, and ended up paying a hefty $86 USD. We got in, and my, oh my, were the animals we saw incredible. There were bears (hence the name), there were buffalo, there were deer, there were so many different animals and it was like a zoo without the walking. Best part was, you never had to get out of the car. They have a sign asking you to roll up your windows nearing the Bear Sanctuary so they don't jump into your car and ambush you, as you are driving in each animal's natural habitat. There is a little area where you park and walk, and there is a restaurant, toilet, and a few animals and shows featuring them. Overall it was a nice experience, but it was the cost that knocked a star down.

Steven McArthur

Awesome to get up close and personal with the Bears, wolves, bison, and others. Otter's were hilarious. All animals looked well cared for. Friendly staff.

Yu Chieh Chang

Just drive slowly and be careful to not hit the wild animals. Very cool experience to have this close look at these amazing animals.

rae wu

nice place, seems like it's still in it's infancy, building up. they are currently building a hotel. if you don't want to drive through, European safari park style, then they run a bus which goes through with a tour guide. this was nice. there is a small letting area with goats and some other animals enclosed, zoo style

VLSQZ Construction Velasquez

This place looks really nice!! I love how each animal has their own habitat. The people there looks like they really care for the animals.

Paul Simpson

Absolutely amazing! Bears, wolves, reindeer, bobcats, jaguars, and more. Highly recommend taking the free bus tour as well as driving and walking through yourself. The bus driver knows all the animals, their histories, and where to see them. Well worth the $25 for each of us.

Vicente Newcomb

This place is really cool. You drive thru it in your car so the animals sometimes like to get up close. It was interesting being up close Instead of watch thru glass or behind a fence. There is a restaurant also located there if you get hungry. All in all cool experience that kids would really enjoy and adults too.

Richard Kokes

Fun to drive through with family. Walking portion at the end was great. On site restaurant really good. Plan on spending a day at the park.

Cristin Just

They're expanding and improving. Looks great. Bus ride is a must even if you drive through on your own. Watch out....wolves will pick at loose parts of your vehicle if you stop. The small animal area is cool and the jaguars are a fun addition. Otters have a new nice habitat. A little expensive at $25/ a pop and the discount for seniors is only $2. The hawk/owl show is short but interesting.

Dave Lambert

One admission price gives you access to everything. Take the bus tour into the preserve. It is so much better than driving yourself. The guides are great and knowledgeable and you get a lot closer to the animals that way. The food is a little pricey. The shows and animal interactions were great. They are doing lots of infrastructure updates.

sheffey cappiello

An must go very cool to see nature up close. Love the fact that they focus on rescue vs breading... Make sure you listen to the handlers.

Tonya Smock

The drive through was fun!! We got some amazing pictures. The kids really enjoyed seeing the animals roaming. Our tour guide on the bus was fun and very interactive full of information about the animals.

Nice park to visit. You can drive through the loop as many times as you want which is Nice. The walking tour is fun and there is lots to see. Be sure to drive through at least 3 times so that you have a better chance at seeing the animals moving.

Imelda Nunez

Great place to visit. Lots of animals to see and the free guided bus ride was awesome! Great alternative if you dont want to drive your car through the sanctuary.

Kyle Lombardino

Had an amazing time seeing all of the animals up close right next to my car and exploring the zoo afterwards. Great place to put on your bucket list that is a very cool place to experience.

Nicole Fisk

Love this place! I'm 35 years old and I enjoy it as much as my son! If the drive from phoenix wasn't so long we'd be up here regularly! The bears were so fun to watch this time too!

Rock Mejia

Absolutely loved this place. To me this is a must stop if you're any where near Flagstaff or even headed to the Grand Canyon. Very fun place.

Nicole Smith

Bearizona is a fun and unique animal experience! Driving through to see animals in their more natural habitat was very interesting! However, many of the animals were hard to see well because they were far from the road. The walkthrough area was also fun. The otters were my absolute favorite! Unfortunately, around 4:30 pm, they were putting away several of the animals which was very disappointing since the park was open until after 6.

Randy McCleary

Great place to take the family to. Kids really enjoyed driving thru the park and seeing all the animals. They liked the bears walking up to the vehicle and thought it was funny when they stopped in front of us and we couldn't go forward. The driving portion wasn't very long and you can go through again if you choose. So we went through a second time before stopping and walking through the park.

Adrian R. Palmer

Nice experience here. Animals appear well cared for. Bus ride is a must do for a little more animal interaction and driver provided information. Restaurant is clean and prices are fair and not inflated.

Robyn Burns

Was amazing! They had animals right next to the cars in the drive through part. In the walking part the bears gave a great show just playing in their habitat. Very entertaining for my 3 boys. Would definitely recommend it and will go again sometime.

david tibbetts

It's a great way to spend time with my family, wonderful food, and a nice store with some funny things to buy.

Carolyn Hollon

Loved the newest additions since my last visit! Expanded gift shop, otter pool area, beautiful restaurant, Jaguars enclosure with up-close viewing from outdoor dining area and even the pond in the bear enclosure. Such fun to see the bears enjoying "playing" in the water!

Ben Dawson

Amazing wildlife park. You drive through areas with larger animals like bear, arctic wolves, and deer, so they often come right up to your vehicle. There's a separate zoo-like area for smaller animals. Kids loved it.

Tedward Crail

Get up close to bears, wolves, jaguars, and many more beautiful animals. See them from the comfort and safety of your car. Very family friendly.

Erika Fisnar

Loved the drive thru zoo. Got to see all the animals up close. Exhibits were well maintained. An awesome experience.

Abelino Garza

The experience is great, you get to drive around to see the animals and then walk and see them up close. All the animals are happy and have great enclosures. Very happy my family found this place

Adam Chelonis

All the animals were visible from the drive and mostly active at 11am . Take your time and enjoy. Walking exhibits were good too. Our 5yr old was able to throw a fish to an otter. He loved it.

Linda Coker

A wonderful, beautiful, educational experience! Great staff - friendly, helpful, passionate about the animals. Drive through to see bears, reindeer, wolves, bison and others, and nice grounds to walk through as well. Don't miss the jaguars! Highly recommend!

Heather

We've been here twice now and my family and I have loved each time! We are planning a trip when it's colder weather to see how different the animals behave. Each time has been different and awesome!

Natasa Radenovic

My youngest son and I visited this place on our way to Grand Canyon. You can see mules, wolfs, bears and other animals up close. Upon arrival you will be told to make sure your windows are up on your vehicle and you are required to keep moving! There are no exceptions to this rule, considering animals walk right next to you! It’s interesting place to check out as a part of your journey to Sedona and Grand Canyon.

Jennifer Wilson

Saw the sign on the hwy & dropped in. At first we thought it seemed pricey but it was so worth it. The animal were all out & moving, very active coming right to the car! Animals all appear well kept. Very nice clean grounds. We enjoyed the drive through most of all but it was a great experience for adults & kids. Highly recommended

Linda Larsen

To see animals, being recovered and in their natural habitat, was so uplifting. Beautiful experience.

Tasha Beyer

There was so much more to do than I imagined. I was so close to the animals it was amazing. My tour guide was funny and gave excellent back stories.

Valery Macias

Definitely great for families with kids. Staff offer a friendly welcome. It's well shaded so your safe from the heat. You can also picnic here or eat at the snack bar or restaurant. Your admission includes the tour buses and a bird of prey show and educational sessions.

Albert Rivera-Castillo

This park is a great attraction for the entire family. There are bears, buffalos, coyotes, literally all kinds of animals! They are very nice people, and worth the money. By the way, there is a very cool restaurant and gift shop. Totally worth it!

Jesse Romero

The bears, wolves and bisons are a great experience for the whole family. The 3 mile drive with animals could use more animals for example “burros” or donkeys is something most people can see at any farm so I wouldn’t like to see that in that tour. My kids wanted more animals they had rarely seen from the wild. Great experience overall but needs an update to make it a more than a once in a life time experience in my opinion. The ticket prices are fair and the food and items and the gift shop were also fairly priced.

HanksASC

Bearizona is a great place for the family to explore. Food inside the restaurant was passable. The outside grill had lower prices and a nice selection. Gift shop is huge. Shows and bus tours are included.

Jennifer Zaretzka

We love this place. Kids have an awesome time. Animals are so close and entertaining. Restaurant is neat but service is super slow but food is good.

Lisa Harjo

This place was amazing and very reasonably priced. Love what they do for the animals here. Staff were super friendly throughout the park. Had a great lunch at the restaurant. Highly recommend a stop at Bearizona.

Caitlynn Mead

I love this place so much! I can't tell you enough good things they're doing for conservation and rescue, which, is the best kind of animal viewing. The bus ride is so much fun. Learning the stories behind the bears. Plus all the other shows, feeding the otters, and the meet and greet with the small animals!

Mae Andrada

Absolutely enjoyed going here. The drive was very nice. You get to see a lot of bears, wolves, bison, donkeys, and more! And the walking part of this park was pretty cool too. There was an employee who talked to us and told the story of ace, their elk. Lovely creature. My only complaint would probably the food stall. Golly, it took us almost an hour to get some food.

Skylar Bennett

So fun with the kids! Loved the drive through part seeing animals up close from the comfort of our car. Loved the walk through part too. Definitely a must do for anyone in the area!

Deb Wade

Bearizona is awesome!!! We've been there three years in a row now and it's just keeps getting better and better. They add something new every year. This year it looks like they are adding new infrastructure. We got there early in the morning around when they opened and all of the animals were awake. It was a fun day!

Salina M

This place was awesome! It was everything we thought it would be, and more. The animals were super active while it was raining and snowing. They seemed to enjoy the weather. Some walked up to our vehicle, and we got to see every single one up close. The walk through is also great! Some animals were in their hut, but it was hailing at one point, so that makes sense... Overall, it was well worth the $25.

Vicki Illingworth

We have an annual pass for Bearizona and when people come visit we take them there ... see the animals, watch the raptor show, have a lovely lunch. All the staff members are super friendly ... they will come up to you and offer advice or help. Bearizona rescues orphaned babies every year and I feel this is such a worthy cause. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Lissa Thornburgh

Really well thought out park. If you do the drive thru: 1. Get there when park opens at 0800. Best time to see animals! 2. MUST have 2 people in car. One to take pictures as there are numerous sreas where you cannot stop! Otherwise, you can take the bus tour which has open windows and food for animals but it's CROWDED!

Karen West

We loved this place even though the weather wouldn't cooperate. So fun watching the animals. Friendly staff. Great restaurant and the gift shop was amazing. We were pleasantly surprised with our visit.

Garnette Dean

This place is a great drive thru park for everyone to enjoy. There is a park bus if you do not want to drive or on bikes. There is a petting zoo for kids also and a great raptor exhibition. There is a restaurant, snack booths, and drinks available. Bears are so much fun to watch, but don't touch!!! Keep the windows up! Never had seen a white bison before. Park is very clean.

Sean Fitzpatrick

A chance to take our grandson to see animals you don't want to see in tiny cages. A drive through experience through carefully segregated wolves, bears, buffaloes, and dozens of others. Drive your car with windows up or ride the free bus with protective railings to get a great chance for photos. It includes a small zoo and great open shows with excellent chances to see birds and animals as they behave in the wild.

Nicole Gillespie

It's like Jurassic Park, but with North American animals! I've been a few times, and I am amazed at how Bearizona adds new stuff all the time. Will definitely be back.

Tao Freese

Amazing. Both adults and kids would love it. It's a smaller and more intimate experience compared to other parks I've been to. It took us 3 hrs to walk the park, attend a show, and explore the drive-thru portion. Staff are super nice and knowledgeable about the area and it's animals. Totally makes one of my favorite attractions in Arizona!

Todd Benson

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the exhibits, how well the animals were treated, the friendliness of the employees and the quality of the food st the canyonlands restaurant. Everything was top- notch. Highly recommended!

M R C

We took our Grandson to the park. We took the tour bus. We learned a lot and had a Great time being there! Definitely a family must!

Tiffany Anderson

I love going through the park and watching the animals and learn more about different species and how we are affected their environments. The animals are either born there or rescued and could not be released because of different situations. Stop by and give this little gem a gander, it small now but its growing and it will be great for helping local wildlife.
