Had a great time here! There are tons of things for kids to do, and adults can relax and watch the kids have fun! Really pretty views and a perfect escape from city life

J. Fitz

Really cool farm. Lots to do with the kids we could spend hours here. My son loved it 5 years old. Also they sell chickens in the spring we got a bunch to raise at home it was a fun learning experience for the kids. You can buy a kit for the chicks there and when the chickens get older you can bring them back if you want.

Jon Sperry

5 acre playground says it all for people with kids, they even added an obstacle coarse, restaurant on weekends, huge slides, and seasonal pick your own foods. Going in to the play area cost money but veterans and there immediate family get in free which is awesome. Highly recommend going with enough kids for a play date. It’s awesome

Jessica Martinez

If you have kids, they will thank you for taking them. So many activities for them to do and lots of benches and tables for guardians to sit and watch at a reasonable distance. Great for ages 2+ with ninja courses, bounce pillow (you’ll see what I mean), slides, petting zoo, and of course you pick your own fruit/vegetables. The country store is so quaint and clean with lots of yummy pies, jams, lotions and more.

Hannah C

Very nice place to hang out and play with kids. Very kid friendly.

Hatsuharu Tatsumi

It was amazing! Kind staff, and gorgeous farm.

jarrett lee

Pick your own Apples and dig up your own peanuts! It’s great family fun.

Shari Dexter

What a great place to take your energetic kids to play. The big pillow being the top star of many activities. Check their website for prices and activities and birthday parties.

Nicholas Williams

Low volume of people. Picking peaches were amazing. Cheap compared to places like butlers.

Jeffrey Joers

We will visit here regularly. It's just over an hour from DC so it's a bit of a drive, but the weekend drive is relaxing and this place is more relaxing than any vacation you can take with young kids. I'd wager that you and the kids (and maybe even the dog) can spend hours or even the entire day here and everyone will leave happy. Depending on the season, you can pick apples, beans, pumpkins, and/or other fruits/veggies, but there's so much more to do than that. There are all kinds of farm animals to see and feed, a catch and release pond, really neat playgrounds including an obstacle course, really unique swings and slides, a bouncy area, a big sandbox filled entirely with corn, a great climbing hill, rope swings for adults/older kids, and other fun stuff that kids will absolutely love. We planned to go just to get a pumpkin and a few apples and ended up staying for hours. Our toddler had a blast, and we did too. And yes, the cider donuts are ridiculously good too.

alankar kumar

Great place for Kid activity but not very great place of cherry picking because very less no of cherry tree. Biggest problem is its restroom are not clean :(. INFO You can buy ticket online and get some discount however you may at gate cash only. Ticket is only for tour and you have to pay for all fruits you pick

Sandra Doyle

Loved it!! My great nephews had a blast. Wonderful place to bring the kids and spend the day.

Alina Kirshon Goldman

Peaches taste great. You can't get the same at your grocery store.

Caroline Maunakea-Hammonds

Cute family friendly farm in picturesque Bluemont, Va. Right down the hill from the winery and brewery, this farm has never failed to completely entertain my children. We go every year for the apple and peach picking and ha e such a wonderful time. There are animals everywhere, a fort for kids to play in, and a giant bounce bubble. The admission is also free for military, which is such a kind gesture and it doesn't go unnoticed. We tell everyone to at least check this place out. Definitely a must do with your kids!

Andrew Crowell

We love GCF. This will be our 2nd year as members, and we plan to be for many years. The fruits and veggies from the CSA are great quality and plentiful.

Matt Brooks

My wife searched for a place to spend father's day and found Bluemont Vineyard. I discovered that across the street was Great Country Farms and they were having a fishing tournament. I arrived with my 2 kids paid the $24 to enter and found out they had no more worms to sell, so instead we bought some donuts & drinks $18 walked around the farms to see the animals, then joined my wife at the Vineyard where we had ribs, wine and a few other drinks $136. It was a hot day, and we were tired and driving down from the restaurant my kids were lamenting the fact we didn't pick cherries. To placate them, with the promise we would return, I pulled over and said each could pick one out the window. My 4 year old couldn't reach so we opened the door for him to get his cherry. Just then a lady on a green gator tractor goes roaring by, slams the brakes, backs up and proceeds to chew me out in front of my family that I needed to go pay for the fruit we picked immediately, although we hadn't even gotten to the exit. IMO that's bad business and says a lot about their operation. I probably would have returned the following weekend and spent another ~$200 if not for that incident over ~20 cents worth of cherries.

Hailey Ploski-Sarno

We were really disappointed with the peaches we picked- they were very expensive and half of them had ants inside so we couldn't eat them. We wouldn't go back, but there are great activities for kids and a cute market.

Kari Jones

There is a lot for kids to do, and the food is great. We had a wonderful visit.

Anna Long

This is the absolute best place you take your family. Going back again this weekend. I can't believe I've never been here before.. love love it..so much fun.

Adrienne Hodges

I took my kids to Great Country Farms in Bluemont, VA today for the first time. Turns out admission is free for all military (and dependents)! I have been to my fair share of kid-friendly fall festivals, and this was my favorite by far. There were so many activities to do that we couldn't get to them all and plan to go back this fall: obstacle courses, playgrounds, cow train, rides to pick pumpkins/apples, huge bounce/trampoline, corn pit, corn maze, marshmallow roasting, and more. I recommend getting there early (opens at 9am) - it got very busy midday. About 1 hour from my home in Burke VA but totally worth the drive.

Art Edmonson

This is just great family fun. Friendly staff, come in and meet some great people from Virginia and out of town folks.

Lauren Lepro

So much to do! We were there for 4 hours and still didn't explore the whole place.

K Bishwakarma

Its good place for children. Worth to visit.

Danielle Speerschneider

I can only speak on how delicious the apple cider doughnuts and kettle corn are. Staff were helpful and friendly. Seems like a great place to bring the kids.

Mackenzie Jordan Johnson

We had a good time here. We came during strawberry season and the strawberries were very ripe. Loved the apple cider doughnuts, and pies. My daughter loved seeing the animals and playing on the many slides/playgrounds. We stayed about 2-3 hours before we felt we had done all we could do. It was a good afternoon.

Renee Hart

Amazing!

Nicole Smith

My daughter loves picking her own fruit and veggies here! Great family day out

Saman Pazooki

Very nice people and gorgeous location. Very fun place for family trip.

Anas Al Barghothy

We spent a wonderful family time... thank you all for the people working there

Rachel Scott

Our favorite farm to visit!! Always a great time!!

Ryan D

Great time listening to live music on the lawn.

Alex Batts

I loved the authentic farm experience, being only an hour from DC. It was really fun to try all the different activities they have laid out as well as feeding the farm animals. My favorite part would have to be picking fresh fruit. It was all reasonably priced and delicious. If you haven't been here yet, this place is definitely worth a visit

Connie Saltarelli

The place is filthy. We had a birthday party for a child there and the picnic tables had bird droppings on all of them. The whole pavilion Obviously had not been cleaned for months. For $20 per person I would expect a clean picnic table. All you really get for that is a small dirty pavilion. All the play equipment that is around is rusty and dangerous. All the tube slide landing areas were mud. The restrooms were filthy and only one out of three toilets worked. The line for the ladies room was 20 deep. Awful maintenance.

Blanca Hernández

I didn't like the cherries they had

Justin Smith

So much fun for kids.....and kids at heart. Good food, friendly staff and cool things to explore. Can we get adult time on those bounce pillows? I want a turn!

Yogesh Rajkotia

Awesome dc getaway for the kids. Animals, trampolines and yummy fresh food, what else does a kid need?

Rajendra Pejavar

Any place involved in the job of farming n producing natural vegetation whether fruits, vegetables or food grains is a positive one. So, v thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Lynda Ashburn

They have a lot of cool obstacles/playgrounds/entertainment for kids along with picking seasonal fruit. Great time for kids!

Christina Mayhew

Went here for apple picking. You have to pay an admission fee as well as price per pound for how many apples you pick. There were lots of families and they had live music and an apple cider making demonstration. They also have baby goats and bunnies you can feed. There is a huge pig but you aren't supposed to feed that one. Had some cheese pizza at the restaurant and it was okay. Took the tractor ride to where the apples were and started picking. There wasn't a huge selection of types of apples on the trees when I went but it was just the beginning of autumn so not that surprising. Only really saw a lot of apples on the Granny Smith trees and one other kind (yellow w some red). They had other areas with apples with more trees but they were fenced off and you were not allowed to pick those ones. Still had fun but would have liked it if there was a larger variety of apples available on the day I went. Made applesauce with the apples and it is very tasty with some cinnamon sugar.

Robert Bennett

Very kid friendly and great peaches to pick!

Dulce M

Ever since my co-worker told me about this place in the fall of last year, It has become my favorite place to go and take my 3 yr old daughter! There is a wide range of small playgrounds all over the park and the slides are so much fun! My daughter loves it! They have so much to do there that my daughter knocks out on our way home! lol The staff is super friendly and very informative. Its an hour drive from where I live but its so worth it!

AMY MARTINO

Great for kids... so much to do!!! Can’t wait to go back in the fall!

Todd Tilghman

The kids love it!

Katie Curiel

Best farm+ that I've been to in the region! Good for all...singles to families! Beautiful produce & pick-your-options season-round! Animals are so very friendly and loving with humans! Winery and brewery on high hilltop an awesome bonus! Very friendly staff! Clean!

Glenn Buckholz

Great day off family fun

Cowboy

We took 2 families plus kids here and had a blast. All the mazes (rope, bamboo, grass, etc) were awesome and all the workers were super nice. The Honeycrisp apples we picked were delicious! Also thanks to Bob for his kind words to our 2 military families!!

Daniel Ducharme

It's like a better Cox Farms, but a ways out into the boonies. I liked this place for peach picking, but they also do a lot of other picking there. It's in Bluemont, which means if you live in the DC Metro area, it's going to be a hike. The peaches were delicious, but also the little market they have there for selling their produce. I felt particularly good eating my burgers later that day knowing that I had purchased the tomatoes on it from a real live farmer on a real live farm. Thrilling.

Liam Darmody

This place is a kids paradise. So many structures to play on, animals to see, and tractors everywhere. Delicious strawberries too! If you do go here, be sure to visit the brewery down the street for views that are incredible.

Maria Andrews

Awesome place to bring your kids and your pets ...excellent play areas design ..with kids in mind:))) and very safe for your pets as well ...

melisa figueroa

Great place for all around kid fun

Rebecca Siddiqi

I was here for a field trip. We were here for 4 hours, and that wasn't enough time to do and see everything! We got to "pick" our own pumpkins from a field. Good bakery items (especially the apple cider donuts) and a nice shop. Lots of fun things for kids to do- the big pillow to bounce on, slides, animals to see, etc. I would love to go back next fall!

Ayeswarya Anandan

Great family outing. Lots of places for kids to play. Friendly staff. Beautiful views of the mountains. Would I visit often, probably not. The ticket prices were $10 for adults and $8 for kids on top of that the u pick strawberries and cherries were $3+ a pound. So for a family of four it was a $100 experience. The pancakes closed early and we missed them even though we paid extra for the festival entrance

Paula Callaghan

Awesome place!!

Amber Abbitt

A great place for kids, and the potatoes we picked were great.

Beth L

It was very rocky and muddy whenwe went. It is not ideal for strollers or wheelchairs on fair days, but rainy day offroading at times was even more difficult. It was hard to keep the kids entertained, even with animal petting and a hayride. Any slide or fun thing was too wet. If it was an hour trip, but not good for more than that.

Hannah Phillips

Very disappointing experience. Showed up at 3 pm just to do some apple picking and was told my family of 4 would need to pay 36$ just to pick apples. You have to buy the general admission tickets even if you are not going to do any of the other activities. Paying to pick apples that I'm already paying for, no thanks!

PS Chan

Would be a great place for visitor if entrance is free

E Green

Great place where kids can run around and be kids.

Rich Shea

Not exactly what we expected... But better! We went to the farm thinking it would be a simple hay ride and apple picking. We were happy to find they're were many playground places withing the farm. The playgrounds keep going and going. Perfect for parents with small children. They offer a membership, which would be great if we lived a little closer, but we will certainly return again next year!

Kerri S

We went there because we got a free pass. Don't get me wrong, it was a great place, but if I was paying for it I might have had a slightly different take on the experience. We went there primarily for apple picking, which was a lot of fun! My ride the tractor out to the orchard which was absolutely beautiful, the apples are easy to access, and the view out there was just breathtaking. After apple picking, we went and did all the kid stuff, which my son loved! Everything there was really old, though. I was a little bit disappointed in that part. One of the jumping pillows was even out of commission because it had a 4-foot tear in it. To be fair, they were fixing it while I was there. The mazes, obstacle courses, slides, and playgrounds were all a lot of fun, but could really use a bit of sprucing up. I would definitely recommend this place, but would caveat that you may not find it worth the $10 per adult and $8 per child they charge.

Syed Raza

Great place for all day activity!!!!!! Staff is friendly. Bathroom was clean. Love the roosterant.

Melissa Black

Great little place. Fun attractions delicious treats.

Jeff Duran

Great time. Good strawberries. Pass on the baked goods though. Bring bug spray in the park.

ASH's Adventures 101

It is amazing and a great place to bring kids or dogs.

JEFERSON SALAZAR ARANGO

Great plase yo spend the hole day!!

Darren Hoevel

Always a great time with a variety of things to do and fruit/produce to harvest

George Stanley

Great day outing for the family. They have playgrounds, farm animals, a restaurant, a country store where they sell local produce and an ice cream store. Very clean and service is excellent.

Maros Ivanic

The visit was enjoyable but I was annoyed that the restaurant was closed even though there were numerous signs that it was open.

Norman Gonzalez

This is a great place for families there are plenty of activities for The Young and the old, is fun all around . Right across from it,is a nice winery for ideal for unwinding afterwards

SomeoneWhoWritesFanfictions

There is a bunch of Bees here but the ice cream is organic and delightful!

Madhukar Narra

Good place .. but need to call for right schedule

Guinevere Kutella

Had such a great time here celebrating my two daughters' 1st and 3rd birthdays! We planned the party to start as soon as the farm opened to beat the crowds and most of the guests ended up staying late into the afternoon. At least one of the adult guests even commented that she would like to have her birthday party there as well. Tons of activities for all ages, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the scenery is beautiful. The only complaint is that the lines for the women's restroom were long all day long.

Mark Fahmy

Went here with my cousins and their kids which was an amazing experience. I was as giddy as the children due to the fact this was my first experience apple picking. The apple variety was amazing as it was September and the staff were helpful describing the different kinds of apples that they had available. There was a wagon that took us down the path. Old tractors to pose with, animals to pet, slides and sort of a playground for the kids.

Will Lunsford

Visit often. Free admission for military. Great winery across the street. Def go if you haven't visited.

Katherine Allen

We've been several times as there are a lot of activities for the kids. The last time we went, it was way too hot to enjoy. The bugs were terrible, there was no where to cool off or get water. The little restaurant has very limited hours! But. The people that work there are super nice and it does offer many activities. Lots of walking, not easy with a stroller unless it has big tires. Also not easy for older folks as paths are not smooth.

Tricia G.

What was good: the place was clean, the staff friendly and there were a lot of activities to keep children entertained. The one restaurant onsite sold hotdogs, pizza and other lunch fare at reasonable prices. They also offered free cider tasting and marshmallows for roasting. My kiddo loved that! The not so good: some animals looked neglected. The chicken coop was filthy. I’ve been to plenty of farms to know what a well kept chicken coop looks like and theirs was subpar. We also saw a malnourished peacock caged in an enclosure that was way too small for it. Its tail feathers were broken and it was missing about half of them. Possibly they were nursing it back to health, but judging from how the chicken coop was kept, I’m worried it’s being neglected. Thankfully, it seemed the goats onsite looked healthy and well cared for. Overall, a fun experience though we left feeling concerned for the chickens and peacock.

Ronald Bunnell

Always a great place to visit. The weekly farm co-op program is wonderful. Strongly suggest to families.

Alanplayz Minerobl

For this time is the most I can give, two

Edward Muhutdinov

Great place for companies with or without children. There are a lot of activities, such as trampoline, kids train, baby animals, dig for the gold, harvesting - in context of current season. And after all those you can go to winery or brewery which are in 1-2 minutes driving.

Alexa Pelczar

So worth your $ for this location! If military, free entry! The animals are soo adorable! There is so much to see and do for the kids and adults! We have been to the peach festival and strawberry festival! We have picked blackberries and peaches. Soo delicious!

Pete E

This place is great for families.

Karen Richardson

Great place to visit...was there for the Peach Fuzztival...nice variety of things to see and do

William Whitney

Fun place for kids and the parents they bring to explore a safe play area, meet some livestock, run some mazes and (in the right season) pick some fruit.

Lori Robertson

Fun family farm!

Stephen Melnyk

Great place for children

Carol Smallwood

A great time for a company team building event.

Elahe Ghiassian

Great produces and service .Fruit picking by own .

Steven Kim

Nice family friendly farm that's about 30 mins away from Nova. Honey Crisp apples were great. Nice brewery and winery in the area as well.

Yamileth Gomez

It is a beautiful place where children can enjoy each recreational space. you can find delicious milk and much more...

Eric Medina

Kids had a great time. Apple cider donuts and apply cider slushie not to be missed.

Brian Dean

Had a great time. Huge place, with lots of interactive events for kids and adults. Bring a stroller if you have toddlers, tho.

Richard

Wow if you have young kids they will thank you for ever. So many this to do from fishing, pick your own peaches and many other fruits to amazing giant bouncy pillow thing with as many kids can jump as want to. Pie eating contest. Restaurant, store many many more fun things.

Julia Bourland

This is an amazing place for families and couples on a weekend afternoon. There is lots to do-- animals to see, a corn maze, good food, and picking fruit of course. This is me and my husband's second year here, and we loved it just as much as our first. Great quality, all natural products too in the country store!

Shraddha Koshatwar

Awesome Farm! We had lots of fun picking sweet cherries. Also has lots of slides and fun stuff for kids

Neil Christ

Good place to go for an hour or two with kids. Big outdoor space with various play areas and bounce pillows. Freshly made donuts are a hit and the produce from the farm is good quality. Haven't sampled the onsite restaurant so no feedback on the food there.

Benjamin Ranieri

The kids had an absolute blast! They love all the things to do and there were a bunch of other kids to play with. A lot to do, and an awesome experience... But it is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! My wife and I, 5yr old, 3yr old, and 9month old was $44.00 just to get in. Then as soon as you walk in you have overpriced food, a kid's ride which is another price, and then you can go apple picking which you then pay by the pound... IF there are any apples left, which there weren't for us. Let's compare this to another orchard near winchester, which was an absolute blast for the kids: You get in for free, you pay for a bag and you can fill it with apples... They have a ton of fun things for kids. That's it. Access and play areas are all free. Better apples too. Basically, I was completely thrown off by the greed of Country Farms. I understand you need to make good money but you don't need to charge people 2 or 3 times for the same thing. I didn't pay just to pay you again.

Lorraine Ebbin

So much to do to keep everyone happy! While it may have been very crowded, you never felt overwhelmed by having to wait to do the many varied activists available to you! We loved coming with our grands and my daughter/husband!

Jerry Stephens

Lots of fun for everyone

Stephen Smith

Nice farm for a family day out.

Edgar Kanapathy

Excellent for kids!

Srinu Tamada

Good family fun time. I visited twice for picking seasonal fruits and experience was really good. It's not just farm, kids can play and spend sometime by doing different activities.

Mahari Grant

Never been apple picking before going here, but it was a good experience. In addition, they have other attractions to keep you occupied and i highly recommend getting their kettle corn popcorn!!

abegail lee olojan-baron

Great place the pie good....

BoiHang Dang

Great place for family with kids...

tim herrmann

Delicious produce whether you pick your own or make a quick stop to their market. Lots of activities around the farm to entertain the kids. Love this place!

Gary Hylton

Kids always have a good time.

Joe McGill

Fun place for apple and pumpkin picking.

Marea Miller

Very pretty, but completely disorganized. Wanted to buy tickets- took 3 different staff members. Wanted to buy the apples we picked and cider donuts- took 4 different staff members more than 20 minutes, and there wasn't even a line.

Manivannan Shanmugam

Fast farm. We enjoyed our trip.

sadia iftikhar

Enjoyed a lot with organic peaches

Erica Blackwelder

Went on a weekday. It was blazing hot and we didn’t know where to go but the staff were really nice and made sure we were able to figure it out and enjoy ourselves. We will definitely go back later this month and next!

andy chen

Great for kids playground

Katie Trenary

Beautiful!!!! Fun. Tradition to go in the fall.

Mark Whittington

Great choice for a family day outdoors. I think the best time to go is during strawberry season when they offer U-Pick strawberries.

Idan Cohen

Very disappointing experience. We arrived around 1-2 pm to pick some peaches. We paid 54$ for something that I do not know. We got into a tractor for 3 minutes ride and that was it. We picked a few peaches that you need to pay for them (2.2$ a pound), of course. The peaches were not more than nice. An hour later we left. Too expensive, doesn’t worth the ride there. Skip it…. Our neighbors went to pick strawberry near Washington DC - 20$ for a family of 4 with a basket full of strawberry.

Carter Fondon

Plenty of things for older kids to play on, but overall, was a blah experience. Other than the very short, but cute pig races, nothing really stood out as "HAD to see or participate in". Response to owner: I actually visited last Sunday and to be quite honest, I'm not sure what I was expecting. Overall, I felt like we were just walking around the farm, but not actually doing anything special. I don't know what else y'all could do as there were plenty of activities, they just didn't resonate with our family.

Drew Long

Great for kids apples are great and view on brewery is awesome

K Citizen

Farm used to be nicer. Alot of staff was curt and unhelpful. Sold tickets for kids train ride after they stopped running the train and wouldnt refund my money. My kid sobbed saying it wasnt a fun day. Food is bad and way overpriced. Ordered a soft pretzel and paid steep fee for my kid...and it was rock hard. We couldnt bite it or break it. Wouldnt switch for a different one. Obviously they are not checking food quality and freshmess for prepped food. Donuts really good though. Raised prices on admission this year. They have just gotten too big in terms of business. Thats all they are after...making money and no hospitality or help. I wanted to do their CSA but had questions, and they didnt know anything about it evek though they had signs advertising. Tractor driver was very nice. So disappointing. Will be spreadimg word in DC area to not bother with the drive for the farm, winery or brewery. Disappointment.

Valarie Socha

Great experience, put out more hay everywhere! Not everyone has industrial boots, we have kids....strollers...elders strolling through your mud

Sasha g

Had a great time picking apples with my family. Recommend going to the brewery, which is across the street from the farm and up the hill.

Juergen S

Great place for a family outing day. There are so many things to occupy the kids and tire them out, not including the fruit picking. The playgrounds are all distinct and the kids love them. The all you can eat pancake morning is an excellent bonus, however seating is difficult to find once it gets busy. Recommendation: bring a picnic blanket as there is lots of space under shade and where there are no tables. The tractor pull out to the fields is fun enough for the kids, but picking your own fruit beats it all. Well worth the ride from the NCR.

Scott Marks

Great place to spend a day with a kid

Audre Peter

Great place to hang out for the day. I picked peaches and found the famous donut peaches. Tractor ride up to the peach trees was great. View is stunning, everyone was wonderful! Peaches were awesome! Spent the afternoon listening to music from Tony M nice touch to a perfect day! Definitely going back during fall for apples then pumpkins.... lovely farm - great place in a charming g community!

David Suárez

There was a good selection of peaches to pick, and very friendly staff. This is a great place to visit with your family. You absolutely HAVE to try their donuts!

Sarah Pawley

A family tradition for years that doesn’t disappoint!

Ellen Lambert

Great farm with a little store that you can buy produce, jams and even wine. They have the best Apple cider donuts made there fresh. An excellent place to take young children and a nice day trip.

REET K

Best experience ,people are nice there, free environment ,great place to play for kids and for adults to sit and relax .so happy we found this farm to have our kids to experience real world .will be back again (and we got membership anyway so you might see us all the time in evening there )

Chayie Chinn

Great place. We’ll definitely go again!

Vanessa Tellez

One thing i will advise people to do before getting to the farm is TAKE FOOD. The chicken tenders were dry and hard. I was so disappointed in the food but learned my lesson! Also, i advise people to also take their baskets. They are per bucket. I honestly felt like i was being charged for everything! My kids and i did enjoy the strawberry picking and feeding the baby goats. I will make sure to come prepared next time!

Kelly Manchisi

It is always a great day at great country farms! Feeding the animals, jumping around, eating apple cider donuts (the best!!!) And then we usually have lunch across the street at bluemont vineyards or dirt farm brewing. We're a full hour away and we go often, which I think says a lot!

Nate Romero

So many things to do for kids. We went during their apple gala. You take a wagon ride to pick your own apples. Highly recommend.

Michael Alfano

Good tomatoes and donuts

dhaneshwar jena

I love the place.

Kohly Hawkins

Went to pick strawberries and walk around the farm. Be sure to check out all the animals! Great for kids as they have a ton of stuff for them. We picked a couple quarts of strawberries and made some jam out of them once we got home! Get there early (9am) before the crowds as parking gets full and farther away. The Roostaurant is okay for lunch, nothing special food wise.

Susan Cabotage

It is a great place for kids and adults. Down side: their animals need better care and maintenance. Otherwise I would have rated it higher.

Sunni Bailey

Such a fun place for kids of all ages

Miss Tish

Delicious apple cider donuts and fun family atmosphere

Noriko Mitchell

Great place to spend time with your family!! Pick your own potatoes, peaches, strawberries, pumpkins, and more!!!! This place has so many kids play areas along with their animals! And their donuts are AMAZING!!! We had a great day there today!!! We will definitely check their website time to time to catch their events throughout the year!!!!

kristy padilla

i lost an iphone there it a iphone 7s

Carmon Shields

Great place for kids. Pizza is very good here and not very expensive like you come to expect from these places. Lots for the kids to do. Shaded areas well worth the money and drive. My sister, brother and I like to meet and spend few hours at park and then go across the street to the brewery. Kids love playing at both locations and great time for all of us to catch up.

Kelly Porch

She had a fun time doing the easter egg hunt! And look forward to coming back for the picking

Thurston Chandler

Pretty cool agritourism spot in a scenic location with some novel attractions, something to appeal to most kids. In addition to pick your own fruit (in season) some animals, tractors, some slides and hay rides, they have a giant bouncy thing, a water sluice in which to pan for treasures, a tricycle race track, and even a well stocked fishing pond. They even have a well maintained bathroom.

justin herman

We came for the Easter egg hunt. Our 2 year old was the participant. Enough eggs to go around to all the children. Much larger park than I expected. Lots of animals, slides and things for kids to learn. I highly recommend this event and I imagine the farm is a great trip any sunny weekend. If you are bringing a stroller, keep in mind that you will push through gravel at times and that was not always easy. A little muddy when we were here as it had rained most of the day before but the farm was still in pretty good shape. Lastly, apple cider doughnuts. Yes please.

The $10 fee was surprising, as I've never been charged an entrance fee for a farm or orchard before, but there are lots of additional activities for families included in that price. We picked peaches and black raspberries today, so a pretty wide selection of things to pick year round. All in all a great experience!

With under 5 year olds there's more to do here than you can do in 1 day.

Awesome experience. Picking peaches was phenomenal and they tasted fantastic. Tons for the kids to do. Did I mention the delicious apple cider doughnuts.....amazing!

Lot's of farm equipment made into playgrounds, animals throughout the park, and opportunities to learn about farms, plants, and animals. My mom and i tookmy 2 and 4 year old and we definitely have to go back because we didn't even do everything in 4 hours.

Make a day at the farm. Great play areas for kids. Fruit picking, tractor rides, icecream, good small food selection. Really good time. Take cold drinks and suncreen if it's hot out. Spend at least a few hours there.

Great kid venue... all season apple cider donuts!!! They have u-pick apples, cherries and pumpkins among other things when in season. Kids love the non-sterilized working farm feel. And mom appreciates the winery up the hill and the brewery next door has good beer and amazing views... wear the kids out at the farm and have lunch up the hill!

Adorable. Lots of space so it never really felt crowded.

I picked and bought the Most delicious apples from their orchards today

What a terrific way to spend a morning, pick up some super fresh fruit and vegetables right at the farm. Staff was friendly, helpful, and a joy to visit with.

Love the pick your own produce... as close as one can get to bring a farmer.

This place is entirely free for military families (with ID) and perfect for kids under 6. They had a separate line for us and we zoomed past the long ticket line. We went the one weekend they had both apple and pumpkin picking this year, which really made the hour drive from Northern VA worth it. There were lots of playgrounds, tractors, livestock and a "cow train" for the kids as well as live music. Cow train rides are a couple dollars cash and there wasn't an ATM on property that I saw. There were no big slides like Cox farms, so if you like those then this isn't your place. The one restaurant that served lunch had a line out the door, but lots of families had brought picnics and blankets. We'll do that next time. We were able to piece together lunch from the apples we'd picked and snacks from the farm store. We'll be back!

We took a group of kids from my school to Great Country Farms. I think it is a great place for kids 10 and under to run around and play for hours and be free to get dirty. The older kids got bored and hot after about 45 min. We were going to eat at the farm restaurant but decided not to because all the tables were outside and it was pretty hot out. They do have a store with a nice selection of farm goods to buy and if you just came to pick fruit it is very reasonably priced. However I think 10 dollars a person to play on a playground and see a few farm animals is too much though.

So much fun! We drove 4-hours round trip to meet up with friends and let our kids play together. It was well worth the travel and the price!

Great place! Lots of fun stuff to do for the kids! Great produce and donuts!

There’s a little bit of something for everyone here. The playgrounds, and what not are next level. Apple cider donuts are must get.
