Here you will see all the information of real people like you who are buying the services and products of Bluemont Vineyard (Winery) near to the state of West Virginia.
At the present this firm gets a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 279 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is very positive, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the assessment is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Winery is included in the category of Winery.
We loved this place! You really can’t beat the views, especially at only an hour out from the city. I wasn’t super impressed with any of the wines but they were all worth trying! The GOAT was actually really good—it’s a white wine
The views were breathtaking..and the wine, 4 thumbs up
I made an appointment for a private tasting & tour of the vineyards and this was definitely the way to go!! For $30-35 per person we got the most amazing guide who stayed with us for 2 hours explaining everything, touring us through the production, the vineyards themselves, explaining the entire process and the different grapes, and tasting many different wines! I would definitely recommend Joel as your guide! The wines were also delicious and the view is incredible!
Have been to this vineyard at least 5 times during the week. Yesterday was my first time on the weekend. A lot of great structural changes to the space. Cons: tables on the upper deck had used glasses and food on the tables that should have been cleared for the next customers. I had to ask for a staff member to clear the tables, of which he did without wiping it down. He gave very little attention to making the table comfortable and inviting for me and my friend to sit down. I noticed other customers had to ask as well. This gave the area an unkempt appearance. To checkout was very slow, using iPads are not always reliable. I will be back just not on the weekend. The view is spectacular.
My 4th visit... And still as great as the first time. The view is even better in the fall and the apple sangria is DELICIOUS!! The staff is friendly and the flatbread with the pesto and the skillet cookie are MUST haves! We will definitely continue to visit!
Absolute breath taking beautiful scenic views with knowlegable friendly staff and amazing delicious wines. Caroline R. provided our tasting with knowledge of the area and wines. She was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. Come for the views...stay for the wines.
Beautiful views, lots and lots of seating, the staff member who did our tasting was super accommodating and patient as we tasted so I didn't feel rushed. He even threw in another wine (peach wine!) for the tasting because he heard us mention it to each other. We ended up going with a bottle of that so thank you staff member for being flexible. Food was super yummy and the food menu was extensive which is better than the BYOF wineries I have near me in Baltimore. Best of all, the atmosphere outside was absolutely stunning, peaceful and perfect for enjoying a bottle and snacking. I can't wait to be back.
Overlooks a slopy hill with beautiful and peaceful views. Ample parking . Great wine tasting .
Unbelievably bad service. Walked up to the bar and stood there for 15 minutes. Main server helped one couple next to us then started putting things away and cleaning up. Not even a hello or acknowledgement and we walked out. Been to a ton of wineries and never been ignored like this. DO NOT GO HERE. Other wineries that actually want our business will get it instead.
Good food, okay service, fantastic views
fantastic place to visit. views are extraordinary. staff all welcoming and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
The wines have gotten better every year! Almost all of the servers have been with them for 3 or more years which provides great knowledge not only on Bluemont Vineyard but also the Loudoun County Wineries. Live music on weekend and dog/family friendly make this casually-elegant winery a great spot to spend a few hours on your Saturday. Don't forget the many eclectic treasures in the gift shop!
Amazing wine and atmosphere!
Fantastic wines, meats and cheeses! Staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. Can't wait to return!
Pesto pizza
Breathtaking view with nice atmosphere. We did the guided tasting and while the person that did it wasn't all that knowledgeable, she was nice and interactive. We liked the Table White as it was refreshing for an unusually warm October day and we also had a bottle of "The Horse" wine which was easy to drink. We also had some baked brie, we always order that when we come and it's delicious. We'll be coming back since it's near our home and me and my husband got engaged here so it's one of our favorite places. Highly recommend
Amazing views!!!!! Best views of any winery in northern Virginia. Local wine with a variety of choices. Service is great and food is the best I have ever had at any winery. Family friendly or great with a group of friends!
Crowded, hot, driveway needs to be replaced.
OMG, I love Bluemont and have been a member for about 1 year, however, I just went there today. Is summer and it's over 90 degrees outside, it feels like their AC is not working and it was crazy hot ok inside. I would not recommend to go there during the summer.
What can I say about Bluemont Vineyard? Only that they helped me to plan and execute the best wedding day I could've asked for! A million thank yous to Amy Thunell and all the other Bluemont staff. Everyone was so professional and personable. They had every answer to every question and solutions for everything. I gush only because they're awesome at what they do. I am very happy with Bluemont and the beautiful wedding I had at the Stable. I will be back frequently to reminisce and enjoy their wine and beautiful view.
Love love love Bluemont. Amazing destination and time away from the city.
Great music, beautiful views, good wine.
I absolutely love Bluemont. The best vineyard in NOVA!
Awesome staff and a decent selection of white wines. My personal taste is the bigger styles but I was very happy with the merlot and the goat which you can see in the photo.
I hope to be back to officiate more often! Staff is wonderful and the views are stunning!
Decent wine, nice employees, and a pretty view facing east towards DC.
Very friendly staff, great wine. Reasonably priced. Love that they allow dogs!
Live music, beautiful views, great sangria..
Very nice winery. Parking not well marked so we hiked up hill with elderly husband, only to realize quite a bit of upper parking. Outdoor seating could use some ceiling fans, but these just minor things I noticed. Good wines and recommend The Italian Comfort Trio appetizer. Very good. Great views.
Went there for Mothers day. Website advertised cost of entry and what was included but also listed food with no price. Showed up and all the food was over priced. The cost of $50, 2 adults and 2 kids, you get a 1/4 filled glass of champagne and all you can drink lemonade. The food showed up and one plate had less wings then the other. My wife mentioned this to an attendant and she stormed off, came back and without saying word almost tossed the wing plate back to my wife. We did try a bottle of white that was good. I would not go back.
10/5 stars! Beautiful scenery, delicious wine, very tasty food. We were a group of 8 and had an absolutely wonderful afternoon/evening. We did the tour and tasting. Coleen was our guide, she was so knowledgeable and animated and made our experience all the better. I was personally very happy and impressed with the locality and cooperation of this winery with other local Virginia farms. And it's totally affordable and an easy day trip from DC/Arlington! Thank you all so much for a lovely time, we will definitely be back.
Awsome!
Fabulous views, large patio. Great place to hang with friends!
Beautiful view! The tasting was good but 2 selections were changed to a less than desirable choice. Disappointed.! Not worth the extra money. The Farm Table wine was very goid
Very comfortable setting, nice staff, frendly. Beautiful overlook. Only 4 stars because you cant bring a picnic lunch.
Recently photographed a wedding at the stables! Beautiful venue. Venue and service was top notch My only suggestion to couples getting married in the Summer is to be sure your ceremony start time begins after the sun has set behind the mountain. The moment the sun goes behind the mountain the lighting turns soft and golden and everuone looks beautiful and the temperature goes from 107 to 77
Quaint vineyard about 15 minutes West of Leesburg. Up on a hill, outstanding views, plenty of parking, nice selection of wine and bites. Super friendly staff.
Good wines and a spectacular view! Friendly and knowledgeable staff!
This is one of my favorite wineries in VA but for the love of God please remember there are two parking areas and go to the top one. It can get pretty hot during the summer but nothing beats the views. Good selection of wine and bonus delicious food. Also allows pets!
No tastings after 5 (5:05 included) also 3 dollars for a tiny cup of olive oil
Beautiful place. Nice wines. Yummy food. We met a friendly resident too. Lots of people park at the first parking down the hill. Keep going up and there are additional parking next to the vinery.
Went to a wedding at the vinyard. The venue was wonderful and had a great view of the valley below.
Just awesome! I will for sure be coming back.
Update: I received a heartfelt apology from the owners of the winery and my friend decided she would still like to have her bday there. Ultimately, the bday girl had a great time, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. All's well that ends well! */*/*/ I have called and left voicemails for two weeks trying to get someone to call me back about planning a party there, but no one has called back. The guest of honor had her heart set on this establishment but we have no choice but to move on to another vineyard, one that values customers.
The most amazing views and of course the wine is great. This is a must stop on a Virginia wine country tour.
Beautiful view, delicious food and wine
Okay this place has it together. Good wine, food, views and customer service!. They have an "adult only area" 21 plus. Dog friendly, members only area. A SEPARATE area for parties/events/groups. Which is nice cause it frees up space and wine bar waiting times. They have added and expanded with thoughtfulness. Their staff is well trained and attentive. Truly a 5 star experience even though they could use more parking spaces, closer.
Went to the winery this week. I anticipated that it was going to be a great experience because the setting was fantastic. Very disappointed in the tasting - 6 wines, no real explanation - we did the flight tasting. Most disappointing was the fact that the glasses were dirty! Won’t go back here or recommend it to anyone I care about!
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great wine. And one of the most beautiful views in the area!
Poor service and a douchebag named Amy who was very impolite . Amy, if you are reading this, I hope you've been fired from your wedding planner job by now and have been forced into old persons nursing home, even though you are only about 50, so you can spend the rest of your days rotting away and being a miserable human being.
This winery is the worst I've been to. Initially, we entered with the expectation that this was a well-run establishment and were severely disappointed with the level of service we received. Upon entering on a hot day, we saw a sign for blackberry slushies. Excited, we asked for one at the counter and were told that the machine was broken. Understanding that malfunctions happen, I suggested that the sign be changed to reflect the current status of unavailable frozen delights and my suggestion seemed shrugged off. I then noticed how unbearably hot it was in the building and I asked if the ac was also broken and was informed that because the door were open the ac was ineffective. With this in mind, I would think that the doors could be closed such that people who want to be outside can enjoy the deck, but so that people with low heat tolerance can escape inside. I'm sure heat that high poses a health risk especially when alcohol is involved as it thins the blood. Furthermore, when we went upstairs, we found that the slushie machine was, in fact, working. This now poses the question: are your employees uninformed or just plain lazy? My guess is lazy. As my partner went to purchase more wine and cheese, he asked several questions to an employee who was not well-informed of your products nor where to find them. Her attitude was also less than satisfactory. I can imagine three reasons behind this or a combination. Here are the factors: poor work environment with horrible temps, laziness, or just general bad temper. All of these are unacceptable in such an establishment. On top of everything, we came back down to our bus to find Amy (the wedding planner) demanding that our bus be moved to the bottom of the hill--which seemed excessive once she explained that she only needed to get her car by. While her attitude was poor, I cannot entirely blame her as this place is horribly designed, logistically speaking. We then had several people rushing our bus out which is very unprofessional as we called ahead of time to express that we would have a bus with a large number of people. In any case, we are paying customers and we all contributed to your income. You're welcome, by the way. This is also the last time we will visit and the last time we will pay for your services as we definitely would not have a wedding reception here as it seems you cannot appropriately accommodate one without losing temper and treating your guests and paying customers with less respect than they deserve. Thank you for the little accommodation we did receive and I hope your business continues to grow based on the critique of your customers. Change leads to growth, so embrace it and accept this criticism as a chance to do better. Yours Truly, Ashley Russell
Bluemont Vineyard is hands down one of my favorite vineyards of all time! The view is incredible and I love bringing friends/family out to visit. The staff is very hospitable and their wine and food never disappoint (they even have gluten-free crackers!). Their Norton is one of my very favorite Virginia reds, so if you like red wine, definitely try that one. I really can't recommend Bluemont Vineyard enough! P.S. Their wedding space (the Stable) is amazing too if you're looking for a wedding venue!
Wonderful place to spend an afternoon when it's sunny and cool, which is usually spring and fall for Virginia. The view is gorgeous from up rhere!
Very beautiful views. The wine was good but nothing that absolutely wowwed me
Great wine tasting with six wines at a beautiful venue with an incredible view. The winery is at the top of a very steep hill, so you look down the hill covered in vines then apple trees, and across to the Blueridge. There is plenty of seating, indoor and out, and live music on Saturday. I don't recommend the charcuterie platter - the components are yummy, but there is very little meat or cheese.
One of the most fantastic views, plus great red wines. Friendly, good food, families and dogs welcome. Membership available, and worth it--discounts at Great Family Farm (fresh veggies, preserves, pies, and pumpkin picking), and Dirt Farm Brewing (equally great views, food, and beer). Only drawback -- landscaping needs improving to complete the full-package experience.
Definitely one of our favorite wineries in LoCo! The views are just as good as the wine!
A group of us went there today knowing that we didn't need reservations. Two women came to the entrance and said we were not welcome there. We are a group of gay men that wanted to have a nice afternoon tasting different wines. I hope this place of bigotry goes out of business.
First and last time on Memorial day weekend. Showed at 1pm (early) and the service was terrible. Went to both bars and then sat at a table and never got a menu or a "Hi". Hung out for 30-40min and never got a drink and left. If you want to hang out with frat boys in pink polo shirts, this is the place. Nice view and has potential but.... See above.
First winter we went to where everyone liked the wines
Oh man--where to begin. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE everything and everyone about the Stable at Bluemont Vineyards. Feels like a fairy tale that we actually got married there a couple days ago!! When we first visited, Debbie was absolutely wonderful. She took Dave and I around the facility, explained the process to us, answered all our questions, and made us feel calm during such a busy wedding planning season. We loved that the Stable was "an all in one" venue (meaning that with our contract they took care of the venue, catering, tables, linens, flatware, stemware, event and day of coordinator etc.), and we loved that the venue was private and separate from the public tasting room. We were able to relax knowing that with Bluemont's help all these details would be taken care of. When it came to the food, Savoir Fare was absolutely delicious. We had such a fun time at the tasting and were able to tweak a few things here and there to accommodate our tastes and our guests. When it came to all the fine details (table linens, numbers, wedding insurance, etc.) Amy, our event and day of coordinator, was 100% a God send. She kept us on track, was very organized, and is absolutely amazing at what she does. She made sure Dave and I didn't worry about a thing on our wedding day and was so much fun to work with the entire time. As was noted by so many of our family members and our Pastor, she is the BEST wedding planner/coordinator we've come in contact with, and we are so thankful she was apart of our special day!!!! When it comes to the wine, I mean, come on now--Bluemont wines are great. When it came to the venue--Absolutely. Breathtaking. The twinkle lights and ceiling draping made it so romantic and the barn feel gave it that right touch of rustic and down to earth. And last but certainly not least--That. View. That view is what put us over the top; that was the icing on the cake. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and the pictures are stunning. On the wedding day itself and since, all of our wedding guests RAVED about our ceremony, the view, the food and the venue. Again, it is still SO surreal that we were able to get married at such a beautiful, breathtaking venue with amazing owners and staff who felt like family when all was said and done. We cannot recommend Bluemont enough. Debbie and Amy--Dave and I cannot thank you enough!!!!! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making our dreams come true. We are SO GRATEFUL for you!!!! (Disclaimer to the reader--because we loved Bluemont so much you likely will see this review on multiple wedding sites. Hope this speaks to their work, venue and professionalism!)
Cherry Ale is awesome
Nice views. Some of the wine was okay.
Came for the end of summer festival. I've been coming here for years to do tastings and spend a warm summer day with family. I always enjoy myself. Three drawback to my last visit, the festival, is that they had people park in the bottom lot and then walk through the grape vines to the festival. It's a trek. Entirely uphill. With chairs and other accoutrement. And it sucks. For that reason alone I can't give 5 stars. They really need to figure this out.
Beautiful views!
Awesome winery. Always great scenery, chill place to relax, romantic evening or fun place for kids and your dog. I come at least a few times a year. There is also a great u pick farm across the street with tons of fun outdoor activities for the kids.
Really enjoyed this winery! Lots of outdoor seating and incredible views. I'm far from a wine connoisseur and not a huge drinker but went bananas for the wine slushees they have - amazing. Was impressed with their food selection. I was surprised at the amount of children running around (!), many people also brought their dogs. It was pretty crowded and service was a little slow, but it was a great way to spend a Sunday evening with friends.
I love Bluemont. Have been coming here for years and it never gets old. The view is phenomenal and the strawberry wine (when they have it) is delicious. It gets a little touristy when the weather is nice, so plan accordingly.
A lovely place to go. Fantastic wine and food.
The view like other's review is truly hard to beat as a vineyard. Probably the only thing going for the vineyard... Service is okie. Came here as family and as event with work, but services received is okay. Had the tour, didn't see much exciting. Expected to see more comparing to vineyard tours I had else where. Wine taste meh here. I have hard time downing their white(super dry) and especially reds(extra body/dry) during tasting therefore don't think is worth the price for the taste you get. But that may be different for you if you like dry wines. Price for the food is pretty steep but taste okay. Lots of space to sit both in the house or outdoor. I find the decor and chairs super antique and at end of its life. Also, I would rather bring my own food but of course they don't allow that.
Beautiful place
Best place. No other like it!!
Stunning views of northern Virginia while sipping on well made wine. There were two wine tasting options, the guided tasting and the 'at your own pace.' We enjoyed the one at our own pace. I will definitely be going back here, during the warmer months, to enjoy the view from the upstairs patio.
OMG!!! To die for!!!! Highly recommended for everyone!!!!
Great views
We had a lovely time! The view is gorgeous and baked brie is wonderful :) We brought home a bottle of yummy blackberry dessert wine!
The wine is very good. The food is amazing. When I went it was busy but there was still seating available. Overall very nice. Only negative is certain items need to be ordered at certain bar. Otherwise it was great!
First time visiting this winery and I have to say not impressed with the service. We ordered the reserve tasting that requires the staff go go over the wines well the lady took our order and we went to sit on the upper deck after 20 min I had to go in and ask for the wines and her response was did I order them I told her yes she then rushed them out and instead of going over the wines she handed us a menu and told us we could read about each wine. Well as you can guess we will never be visiting this winery again and we will not recommend it to any friends or family. It's not worth the money or the time the rely on the view to get customers in but it's not good with the service being so poor.
Nice selection of wine with a great view!
The staff was friendly but seemed a bit stressed for the small amount of people that were there. The view was amazing but from what I've heard prior to visiting and my experience here many patrons need to learn proper etiquette for a winery. It's nice to relax and sip wine taking in the view but it's not nice to hear a large group with too much wine screaming and shouting. The wine was a not the best. The whites were pretty crisp and clean but the reds had a similar taste to one another with a metallic after taste. Being a huge red fan this was disappointing. So I guess my brief take away would be: "Excellent view with reasonably friendly staff but groups are often loud and the wine isn't worth the price."
I Went to the winery today. I expected that it was going to be a great experience because the setting was fantastic. Very disappointed with the service. You go down stairs to order your food then you have to come upstairs to get your wine then you will have to carry all the food and wine to your table. No one is there to help you at all. I am going to a winery to enjoy the food and wine not to work. I won’t recommend this place at all if you want a relaxing day.
Great views and nice wine.
Fabulous views and excellent wines. Very friendly staff. Have a wonderful experience every time I go!
Wonderful staff, food and wine!
Bluemont is my favorite. Everyone is so nice and the views are unreal
Great views, quite busy, a few tasty wines too.
Best View Ever!!! Loved the winery and the new brewery. A must-go destination.
This place is a great stop after work or for brunch. Great wine. Great scenery. Great food.
We visited yesterday, 3 adults and a child. It was too cold to sit outside. There was not enough room for all the guests. The staff was not helpful to find seating for us. Our food arrived and there was no place to put it. Next time we would only visit without children and firm reservations.
The Views are incredible there and the staff is engaging in conversation with you. Me and my wife loved this place.
Do NOT go here for the Mother's Day Brunch. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. They were so all over the place and nothing was organized. It was FREEZING inside and the food was either too hot or too cold. The property is beautiful, but I would not waste the time or money on this event again.
Bluemont has such a wonderful atmosphere and great staff. Even when they are super busy you can tell they are working their butts off to get to everyone waiting. There wines are spectacular and I would recommend this winery to anyone!
The view is gorgeous. Lovely service and wine. A friend is moving into a house nearby, so we'll definitely be back. I'm excited to try the food.
Great location and wine.
Great wine anda great customer service but honestly it is not a co portable place. They need some sofas and some more comfortable chairs.
No wait staff. Enjoy standing in line for thirty minutes for food AND thirty minutes for beverage, and don't stand for twenty minnutes in the wrong line or you'll be re directed to stand just as long in another line. The lines are a nightmare. The system they've got here is terrible.
Beautiful view, lovely atmosphere. Shared a yummie cheeseboard and flat bread pizza. Above average wines, both white and red. Absolutely worth the drive to the countryside...
Always a nice experience at Bluemont Vineyard!
Great view, service and wine
Amazing views with lots of seating outside. We tried the flight of six wines (3 white, 3 red). All were pretty good. The flat bread pesto pizza was very tasty and finished off our visit with a seasonal peach wine slushy. It's like a slurpees for grown ups-sweet and delicious! We want to go back just for the views!
Experience some cool country views and wonderful wine with light, but filling grand appetizers.
Found good wine & scenic views on our first visit. We plan to return with friends?
Nice wines and good food to accompany. However, service, though just a fun winery is a bit slow. But - very friendly and awesome views.
Mother's Day brunch was a disaster. Food only fair (most was cold) but the service was terrible. Long wait for food. Really tough for young kids. Very overpriced for what you got (I just saw the bill on my credit card statement - I didn't make the reservations). Even worse, they set the tip. I would have given nothing but my wife signed the ticket when I was outside (one of many trips killing time waiting for food etc.). I won't be back.
Positives: -Price point for the wines are very reasonable from $25-$34 -Strawberry wine which is not overly sweet/tart but actually dry - yay! -Great tasting room hours: 7 days a week 11am-7pm -They offer Sunday Brunch: 11am-2pm -Beautiful panoramic views of Loudoun Valley -Wine slushies - **pewpewpew (sound effect)** -Variety of food offerings - the bruschetta and flatbreads look amazing! -Cast iron cookie - $5 - uh yassss -Apple cider donuts -Chocolate truffles -Helpful staff Negatives: -Tasted a variety of wines and couldn't find even a glass that I was interested in getting a pour of. I do prefer drier wines and I found most of them fairly fruity. -They offer library wines but it appears to only be for Club members
The views here are absolutely fantastic. The service was amazing and so helpful. The food was pretty good and the wines were ok too. (I’m super picky on wine so don’t take that the wrong way).
Wine is actually pretty decent. Everything was very drinkable. Personally, I thought that whites here were marginally better than the reds. Views to die for, that overlook Loudoun Valley.
Beautiful ...very nice wines
Participated in their Yoga & Wine Tasting/Tour and had an AMAZING time! The views of the fall foliage were breathtaking, the tour was lead by knowledgeable staff, and the tasting was delicious! The only thing keeping me from giving this vineyard 5 stars is that they don't allow tasters to keep their glasses.
The only cool thing about this place is the view, and that's about it. I visited this past Wednesday, and the wait was FOREVER. Poor customer service is just something that can not be ignored in this day and age. I was very disappointed because of the way they were handling their customers.
The views were nice, decent wine selection the service could be better.
Biggots
This place is AMAZING - great views, great wine, great small plate options. Good for both Couples/Friends and Families. Plan your day for Bluemont and you won't be disappointed.
Serenity and cleanliness are noticeable as soon as you enter the place... lots of fun things for the whole family. And oh, military families get in free!
Loved the location on top of the hill. The views from here are amazing. I love the fact that they offer a flight of wine that you can drink at your own pace. The food options like the flat breads are good. I just wish they add some small bite size munching items. Lovely experience overall and would definitely buddy again.
Amazing view, good food and nice wines and friendly people. Its very relaxing when it's not busy and you can get a table right at the the edge of the deck. Their 2014 Cab Franc, "The Horse" is wonderful.
A blue collar mosh pit...loved it!
Not only excellent wine, but spectacular views from this hillside winery location. When we are in the area we go here, lovely atmosphere, great food pairings.
The wine is delicious, especially the petit manseng! The food offered is great. Our favorites are the pesto flatbread and the brie with red wine jelly. The views cannot be beat! Not pretentious in the least.
We married Nov. 5 2017 at the Stables at Bluemont, but had scheduled our wedding well over a year in advance (it's high in demand!). We worked with Amy Thunell who helped us along the way and worked as our day of planner. She was responsive to emails and full of advice as we tried our best to save $ where we could. The venue itself is wonderful and they obviously know what they are doing. From guiding us on what to get done and when, to the day of where they took care of all the essentials without us having to worry over any of the details. The staff were wonderful, sweet, and attention-focused. We were uncertain if the wedding would be outside due to rain but they dried all seats and had us ready to go just in time. We felt completely cared for and are so thankful. Even when it came to our specialty mead being drunk entirely, Amy set a bottle aside so that we could enjoy it and not miss out. The organization was out of this world and they worked well with all of our vendors. I'd suggest this venue to anyone. Also, if you're looking for a foliage-heavy autumn wedding, try the first week of November! The leaves are perfectly colored at that point of the year.
Delightful staff working there. They aim to please! The wine I had was wonderful. But they desperately need more bathrooms!
My favorite vineyard! Been coming here FOREVER!
Amazing winery! Skip all others and head straight here. The staff was very friendly and the wine is superb! The mulled wine was a perfect ending to the evening and they even sent us with the recipe to make at home. Hailey is definitely an asset to the amazing staff!
Scenery is beautiful but don't let that fool you. Wine is nothing special by any standard but the service is far worse! Rude staff.
One of our favorite places! My husband proposed here, and we love sharing it with friends. Everyone we've taken has enjoyed it, the wines are incredible quality for this area and they have great food for lunch or snacking. The view is spectacular too!
I've been to Bluemont several times and highly recommend it for the beautiful views and delicious wines!
Amazing view, great food, great wine, super nice staff. Couldn’t ask for a better find on New Year’s Day
Love this place. Great view, great wine.
Almost everything you read on these reviews about the Bluemont Vineyard is true! It's all about timing. It can be very crowded and service is hard to get immediately and I'm sure the wait staff is stressed. In fact, I think every time I've been to Bluemont it's either full, crowded or very crowded. The view is the best, and I mean THE best.. However, if you don't pack some patience or a least lower your expectations on fast service, you'll come away frustrated. The wine is good and the one time I've had food there, it was more than satisfactory and not typical winery fare. The bathrooms are in short supply and there always seems to be a long line. I think they added port-a-pots outside, which were needed. My advice go on a weekday and avoid the big crowds, if you can't, make this the last stop on your wine tour and you'll be mellow enough to enjoy the view and put up with the crowds.
Love it!!!!
The staff was friendly and helpful I'm all forms. The wine was diverse and delishous and the food exquisite. A premiere romantic spot, the view from the second floor is stunning!
Best winery I’ve been to. Great views and wines.
While normally a bit far out from DC for us, we like Bluemont. Their tasting room is up on a hill with nice views of the valley below. The staff seemed a little frazzled but nice. The wines were decent. Previously they had each wine associated with an animal name and logo, but that seems to be less common now. The table red is surprisingly decent. For a snack, the Italian comfort Duo with burrata is delicious and a nice pairing with the wines. They have a little shop of nick nacks and such to walk through as well. Recommended if you're up for a drive or find yourself in the area.
the best place everrrrr
Amazing view, friendly staff and quick service, me and my husband tasted all the wines which was very indulging
The Petit Manseng was my favorite!
Great place to visit with friends and family.
Gorgeous views, delicious wine, great food, helpful and friendly staff--what more could you want? Bluemont continues to be my very favorite place to go for a weekend "retreat" from the city. And yes, it can get crowded on some weekends, so just learn to manage expectations: stay calm, be patient, be polite, and you'll be set up with delicious drinks and food before you know it. Besides the view and experience is worth the wait.
I love coming to this place. Live music, awesome view, great food and tasty wine, why not, right? It’s pretty crowded at weekend but that’s ok. Great place always attracts more folks. Don’t worry if you won’t have place to sit. I’ve been here several times and there are tables available.
Always wonderful visiting Bluemont! Beautiful views, great staff, and good wine!
Quite a nice place. Make sure you visit dirt farm brewery too!
Amanda was an amazing host, will be back soon.
Beautiful venue, nice small plate menu, good wine as VA wine goes, but pricey. Definitely worth the ride.
Visit here when weather is nice. Good place to chill on weekend
Fantastic Views !
Good food, good wine, spectacular views, and they are dog friendly. What else could you ask for?
Great view! Period.
Took a bunch of friends here and they all loved it. Get their wine sampler, bbq sliders, and try their cheesecake too. The merlot is also great. Great views, not too far from the DMV area. Wine slushies are also popular too.
Good wines service attitudes and a spectacular panoramic vista. Breath taking.
Great view, tasty food, delicious sangria;) Thank you!!!
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
The wine was good, but the staff is not the most welcoming. Also as it got more crowded it took us 10 minutes to get through to the bartender and 10 more minutes to get just the coffee and bottled water! Additionally, the owners should consider getting some more road reflectors as it gets very dark and foggy there and it's really dangerous to drive that curvy roads.
Been a members of the Farm and aways a great time and great wine. Love the view!
Good wine, kind employees, great view.
Great view, great wine. Nuff said.
It is a great venue with an amazing view! They have good wine flight deals and the bottles are reasonably priced. It was pretty crowded, but plenty of seating. Great flatbreads! I would certainly go back, and maybe become a member of their club some day.
Yummy wine slushies and phenomenal views, friendly staff, covered patio area
Love this place! Very good wines that get better with time. We shared a bottle of The Donkey (dry Rose)... it was excellent. The views from the deck are to die for. Friendly service and staff too. Go try it!
