Beautiful day at Narmada. The option of sweet dessert wine especially the “Legacy” wine for me and the semi-dry wine was great for my husband. The butter chicken was right on time after the wine tasting. Must do again.

AWESOME PLACE TO GO

We stopped here because we knew they served lunch, and they had wine and food pairings. We stopped by on a Saturday with great weather, and the staff seemed at bit overwhelmed. However, all the staff was very friendly including the owner Bandit was going around greeting everyone. They had a few options for tasting, and I chose flight #2 and Danielle chose flight #3. Basically we ended up tasting one white, one rose and 6 reds and one port style with the combination of both flights. We did have a brand new server to host our wine tastings, she was energetic and pleasant. When we asked questions she could not answer, she asked co-workers and got the answers. We each ordered a glass to have with our butter chicken for lunch. At the conclusion of our meal, we shared one wine and chocolate pairing which allowed us to taste some of the member only wines. This was the highlight of the visit! If you like red wine, I would just select this tasting.

Tasty food to accompany delicious wine

The food was good, but it was served cold and with paper plates, and plastic utensils. The server that provided us the wine tasting was friendly, but seemed timid and shy. The outdoor eating area was not clean and very disorderly.

Beautiful winery. Love their food selection and how friendly the staff is. If you enjoy red wine and ports, you will enjoy the Merlot and their Port Wine. Now I'm typically not a port wine drinker, but theirs is absolutely smooth and worth taking a bottle or two home.

Our family has been to Narmada a couple times over a few years and we enjoyed both visits. In our most recent, Lucas led a tasting for us, and he was knowledgeable, funny, and flexible enough to deal with a few requests for seconds. There were no duds in their lineups -- they had three tasting lineups to choose from -- and one of us took home a bottle of the wine named for the owner's children. We ordered some of the Indian food available and enjoyed everything. The tasting room and patios are clean and expansive, with good views outside. Alone it would have been worth the drive from the Reston area, but was even better paired with Magnolia a few miles down the road.

First time at a wine tasting and the experience was amazing. Excellent wine, food, and live music with a wonderful pianist. Being able to enjoy the view of the vineyard from the upper terrace added to the enjoyment along with spending time with family.

Great wine, grounds and people! My wife and I stopped in while on our way to a B&B last Thursday. Our sommelier, Alex was very informative and answered all of our questions with a smile on his face the whole time (we admittedly don't do this much, so we had tons of questions). Go check it out, you won't regret it!

Decent wines. Most are hit or miss to me. It's a beautiful vinyard. The interior is nice with access to outdoor patio area. They have a section for members only separated from the regular patrons. They serve some food. I would suggest sticking to the Indian foods, avoid the other foods. We ordered a bottle of white wine thinking it would come chilled. They did provide an ice bucket, but the wine was stored in room temperature and as we were drinking it, it started out warm before it got chilled on the last glass. It would have been nice to have already chilled wine and the ice bucket is to maintain the chilled temp...very disappointed with how the wine was served..

You could argue that I'm overly excited about the fact that there's a winery in the area run by Indian Americans, which is rare, but that doesn't even begin to explain why I love this place so much. First of all, this winery is part of the wine pass that lets you get two flights of six wines each for $10 total -- an absolute steal. They have a wide variety of white and red wines, and many of their wines have won both national and international awards. I'll admit that I'm not super wine savvy, but I was really impressed and appreciative of the people working at the winery you were able to explain the various options to me. I also love the idea of pairing wines with common Indian dishes, which to me really brought together the winery with the heritage of the owners. The land of the winery sits on is absolutely massive and the deck provides a beautiful view of the vineyard. There is also an event area with a gazebo that is super picturesque. If you can help it, get the Cab Franc Reserve 2014 which is one of the best bottles of red I've ever had. Enjoy it!

Friendly staff and the magic of the spring scenery. Great place for a relaxing afternoon with friends.

Out 211 west of Warrenton sits a lovely winery with countryside charm and peaceful atmosphere. Enjoyed the Indian Sampler plate and sorrowfully shared with my table. Will order my own plate next visit. Paired my food with Narmanda Mom, the suggested pairing. Light, citrus tones, very good. My hubs enjoyed the Merlot. Full bodied red, went well with the dish. Beautiful patios, deck, play area, and gardens to enjoy and explore.

I love this place!! Narmada's wines are amazing and on a whole 'nother level. The knowledgeable staff and owners are one of a kind while serving unique and tasty grapes. With nice views and the smell of great dishes lofting through the air from their kitchen I couldn't help but join the wine club... Now we only need to officially try the food. Thanks for the great experiences Narmada!!

Beautiful views, nice atmosphere, good wines. People were polite — owned and run by an Indian family (from India) — we smelled some great indian food being prepared for a special event for that evening — the kitchen had closed for the evening but we will be back to try the tasting plates as pairings with the wine!

Alex was awesome! It was busy but he remained attentive and helpful. I had a great experience because of Alex!

Very friendly, great wines (three tasting options), and beautiful view.
