My girlfriend and I were on vacation in the area and spur of the moment stopped in for a tasting. Walked into a beautiful tasting room and great views of the vineyard. I am not a sommelier and will never claim to be one, but found the descriptions from the staff to be understandable and helpful. Thanks to the great staff I was able to walk out the door with a wine that was off the tasting list. I’m enjoying it right now :) if I’m in the area again I will stop for a tour!

My bridesmaids and I stopped in for a tasting last Saturday. We were greeted by a friendly employee, who congratulated me and made it sound like even though we had 8 people, that it wasn’t a problem. We didn’t realize that larger groups should make reservations but this employee made it seem like it was fine. Once we got settled around the bar, we ended up with a different employee who was going to conduct our tasting. She obviously wasn’t thrilled we were a bachelorette party and made it pretty clear she didn’t care for us. Our tasting felt rushed, she was rude. She even said to 2 of my friends “in case you weren’t listening or didn’t hear me...” We had planned to stay longer but this staff member ruined the experience for us. We took some pictures outside (it was a gorgeous day!) and went to settle up and pay for some bottles and the tastings. On the tasting sheets the price said $12 but our not so lovely bar tender charged us $15 each. I really liked the wine, and had heard great things about the atmosphere and experience. Unfortunately I will not be returning due to the attitude of this employee.

The employee who served us was not very professional in the way she presented everything, we were expecting better service. To each their own in their personal life, but she had hickeys all over her neck, which was not very professional in my opinion. We did two wine tastings but they didn’t have any cheese or anything to accompany it. This place seems like such a beautiful vineyard with great potential, but I think just some things need to be improved and it will be much better! I hope they can improve!

Super quaint winery! All the staff were super nice, they gave us a little impomptu tour. The tasting was well done and a good value. The best part might be the shady area off the tasting room overlooking the vineyard, super relaxing and casual. There's a table next to us and they brought playing cards - so awesome.

We felt at home the moment we walked in. Very nice owners who gave us a free private tour. We learned firsthand what it takes to own and operate a winery. We even spearheaded a movement to put the big barrels of wine on the market (300 bottles in one barrel..whoah). Hopefully we can strike a deal with the owner. Great guy! Did we mention the $5 wine tasting which consisted of 8 wine tastings and we got to keep the glasses. Where else can you get that much for $5 ?!?! Check this place out and support a local winery!

I'd give it a five for ambience and experience and worth the trip (if in the Burlington area) but in the end it's really about the wine which was quite respectable but nothing superlative. Most interesting sampling was the wine in a can.

People were nice. Wine was good for Vermont wine. But it was Vermont wine. The good one was their Marquette red wines. Try them. They are great.

We had my brother's engagement party at The Shelburne Winery and it was delightful! A beautiful backdrop for an event, and a lovely family team to work with - the evening was a smashing success! They employ eco-concisous growing methods and it's really interesting to learn about how they grow grapes in such a cold climate. Delicious local wines and a very worthwhile stop while in Shelburne.

This is a must visit for locals and visitors alike. This summer they have wine in cans, which I can't wait to take camping! The Marquette is lovely and a solid choice for a host gift. Also just a gorgeous location for a glass of wine.

Really enjoyed this place!! The Scenic views as you sip wine overlooking the vineyards was truly one of my favorite parts of our New England tour! There’s even a friendly little pup that runs around the kids enjoyed playing with!

Married at Shelburne Vineyard last year. It was perfect for a casual wedding. We wanted to make sure that our guests had fun and had space for people to choose to play games, dance, catch up and all of the above. Excellent and accommodating staff.

I was very dissatisfied with the customer service at Shelburne Vineyard which is too bad because their wine is very delicious. Me and my girlfriends drove 2hrs and went there for a wine tasting and it was by far the worst customer service. When I asked about the different wine packages they said one option was 10 and the other was 18 which included the wine, cheese and crackers, and more interaction with your server. The "interaction" was far from what they described and then when we went to pay they said it cost $25 each! When I told her the other woman said it was 18 she said I'm sorry she quoted you the wrong price since it's a bachelorette party and you get more interaction. First off no one said we were a bachelorette party and secondly you told us a price and should honor it, which they didnt! I'm very disappointed with Shelburne Vineyard and I will not be returning nor will any of the ladies that drove 2hrs for a girls day!

What a fantastic experience! It was a thrill to get to talk to Ethan and Sam who were generous with both their time and knowledge, and it was a privilege to meet the owners, Gail and Ken. Their passion for what they all do burns bright. White wines are less of a challenge than reds in colder climates, and their whites are very well done. But it's their reds that are on the cutting edge. The Marquette deserves to be making a name for itself here!! A beautiful space, and beautiful people.

The wine is okay and the tasting in the room is totally worth it, inexpensive local tastings are nice. The woman running the wine club is absolutely awful though. I belonged for a year and every time they sent my wine to the wrong address, despite telling me every time my information was updated. I had to deal with them and fed ex trying to get it straightened out. $74 for 3 bottles of wine and that kinda headache wasn't worth it. I've switched to winc and have been much more satisfied with the quality and variety of wines and their customer service.

Their outside patio area needs a serious update. I was super excited to go to a tasting while visiting Vermont but was immediately disappointed with the vibe of this spot. The tasting was kinda cool even tho one of the 4 wines was from a can....really? Lol. I mean not that I come from wine country but they need to step it up a bit. For my husband's 1st winery experience I had to assure him that this was not at all what it's really like. The red wines were pretty good and I did buy a bottle but I kinda felt bad I even made this a pit stop on out outing that day.
