I’m torn. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. I find the beer selection to be disappointing, however. I say this mainly because I love micro brews but hate IPAs. The selection here is almost entirely watered down domestics and overpriced IPA micro brews. Maybe this is good for some but I prefer a nice malty brown ale or a stout. Not nearly as much variety of those.

This place has beer, wine, and liquor. A growler station, refrigerated goods, and they always have a special on something. This is my go to when I need alcohol in Bennington. The staff is always courteous and warm.

I generally avoid Northside Dr. because it is such a nightmare but BBO is a worthy spot and the one I head to when I need something other than wine. They have a huge selection of liquors including some really interesting almost novelty ones and they have more finger lakes/nys wine than the other wine/liquor shop in town. Prices are too high for an outlet in my opinion and the wine guy doesn't know enough about wine. Well, it's not that he doesn't know much. It's that he thinks he knows more than everyone who walks in. It took me ten minutes one time to get a question answered because he kept telling me I didn't know what I was talking about and kept cutting me off. I finally got him to stop and educated HIM a bit at which point we had a great conversation but I prefer a place that has staff who listen and are just as eager to learn when they don't know something than act like they do. They have a redemption center on site and are honestly the best place in town for cocktail supplies.
