Great food all around. Flights are an interesting concept for entrees. Our waiter invented the bone marrow luge shot which was delicious. You pour a shot of rye whiskey down a scooped out bone into you mouth. Fantastic. And we saw Morgan Freeman there. Always a plus.

Great food and interesting concept. Order flights of food. 6 of is ordered 6 different flights featuring steak, fish, chicken etc on different combos.... All excellent. Wine flights and even said flights are available. Leave room for the dessert flight flights. Price value equation all in the customers favor here.

Very neat concept. Instead of ordering one main entree, you can order three different small plates of any entree. I went during Sunday brunch and ordered a flight of chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and French toast. I didn’t like the sauce on the chicken; regardless, the chicken is flavorful. The shrimp and grits were very flavorful - I would actually get that as an Main entree next time. Wasn’t a fan of the French toast; I’ll get the pork tenderloin next time. Great and attentive service!

Loved it. Is perfect as always. Is expensive but much less than similar restaurants in other cities and the food at Flight is much better. Excellent steak, sea food, desserts and wines. Service is more than 5 Stars. Place is in the heart of Downtown Memphis very close to hotels, theater, AutoZone park and FedEx Forum. So there is no excuse to miss a visit. Hope you enjoy their service and food as much as I did!

This is a great restaurant! We had a group dinner there. Everyone loved it. The wine list the soup the entrée and the desert were all very good. Strongly recommend the duck dish - one of the chef's flight. I had duck everywhere in the US across different cuisines. Their duck can be on the top 3!!! The "flight" concept is super! You have the chance to try out all different food 3 in 1. Most important they are all really good. Strongly recommend !

This was our first time dining at Flight, and it is our new favorite restaurant! It is impeccably managed, and the wait staff is even better than one would expect from a fine dining experience. Specifically, Nick and Stewart made our night special. The crab cake is the best in the world! Our party was split on whether the lobster Benedict or the elk won for favorite meal, but each flight was fabulous. We split the dessert flight between five people. Next time I’ll get my own! The blueberry streusel should not be missed. I’d encourage everyone to go and just watch how well this place is run, from server’s assistants exuding high professionalism to wait staff giving a helping hand down the stairs. Perfect!

Honestly the best food I've ever eaten. Excellent wine pairings. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Everyone is so gracious and kind. There's even complementary valet parking. My husband and I went for our anniversary. They asked if it was a special occasion, and we told them it was. Our waiter brought us champagne on the house. A small, simple gesture that made us both smile. Everything came out perfectly and with little wait between courses. It was absolutely worth every minute of the hour and a half drive (one way!).

We loved Flight. A great menu with many interesting choices. Several varieties of fish, soups, quail and crab - all excellent. The small portions were just right, allowing us to sample a lot of different dishes. Wine list was extensive, service very good. The room is contemporary and attractive. Flight was amazing. Last night while walking to find another bar, my friend and I stopped in here and decided to have dinner. We waited for about five minutes because we did not have a reservation. Once we were seated, it took the waitress almost ten minutes before we received water or asked what we would like to drink. (Reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars) Other than that the food and service was amazing and i look forwarded to dining here again!

You'll need reservations. You can drive there and don't worry about parking because they have free parking. You drive into the marked parking place right in front of the restaurant and they take your car and park it for you. It's a free service but you should probably give him a tip when you leave. They give you extremely excellent service when you are there without being annoying. They have "flights" if you want a variety of food to eat. You can order a seafood flight of small plates. You will get a scallop, some shrimp, and a third plate of a dish with lobster and crab. We split a salad to start off and we both had plenty of salad to eat.

In town for work last week and had a fantastic dinner with a fellow trial lawyer; famed attorney Chris Gilreath. Could not be more pleased that Chris recommended Flight. The food, wine and service were first rate. Loved the concept of sampling many items on the menu with "flight" selections. The steak flight (especially since they let you mix and match) was outstanding. The Elk and Bison were cooked to perfection! Looking forward to coming back soon.

I went here on a date on a Friday night with a reservation for two for dinner. First off, the free valet was very friendly and courteous (opened the door for both my date and I). When we got inside, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and host, and they both told us congratulations on my date's well-deserved vacation and my promotion (which I annotated on my reservation online). They all sounded incredibly genuine, and it was a nice reminder. I ordered the pick-your-own flight, with the Lobster and Crab Gnocchi, the Elk steak, and the Pork Tenderloin, as well as a few glasses of Rosé. My date had the Chef's flight, and raved about how delicious it was! All were fantastic, especially the elk steak. It was cooked perfectly med rare, the way I asked. The pork was just *slightly* undercooked, so I was unable to finish the last few bites, but everything was incredibly delicious! The atmosphere was nice, and we got our own table to ourselves by a window overlooking downtown, so it was very romantic and private. We both had a great time. The service was spectacular, the food was delicious, and free valet parking with the dinner meal is so terribly convenient. We will definitely be back! Thank you for such a great experience!

Flight is one of the classiest and tastiest restaurants in Tennessee! It is a two level restaurants with some great views of the main street. The upper level where we ate offered fantastic views of the town and a great perspective of the bottom level of the restaurants. A great space, with mahogany woods and white linens. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable in the menu. The highlight is of course, the food! It's a novel idea on how main dishes are served. For about $35 - $45 dollars, you can order three small plates or get any of the plates in a full sized portion. However, The three small plates is a great way a few things and EVERYTHING here is absolutely delicious! The fish is incredibly fresh and seasoned to perfection. The scallops were tender, the Boar was flavorful and the Chicken and waffles were unrivaled. Just when you didn't think it could get any better, the Banana Foster Bread Pudding proves you wrong with it's decadent flavors. Soft, tender bread drenched with caramelized bananas and caramel sauce....put me to tears. Flight is an amazing restaurant with great food, wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. One of those restaurants everyone has to go to at least once in their lifetime!

If you are in downtown Memphis, you will want to come here. The food is delicious and the concept is so creative. You can pick pre arranged flights of 3 small plates or you can create your own flights of any dish. Just be aware that it can get pricey if you pick your own.The flights of wine are a fun way to try different kinds! The service was great and the waiter did a good job of explaining everything to us.

Went there for dinner tonight to celebrate my daughter's birthday and I am never disappointed going to Flight from the time I walk in, eat dinner and leave. I have tried almost everything on the menu, but my favorite entree is the chicken and waffles with mushroom maple syrup cream sauce and favorite appetizer is crab fondue. Oh my gosh!! Words cannot describe. Those two items just make my palette wake up. All of the servers are fantastic, but Matt took care of us like we were the only diners there tonight. Thanks so much Matt for your superb service ❤️. You can try samples of different items on the menu including the wine and desserts. Love the concept. Atmosphere is quant and relaxing. I strongly recommend making reservations because they are extremely busy on the weekend and they do offer valet service due to their not so friendly parking. Unfortunately, parking anywhere downtown can be nightmare.

I've eaten here several times and I love the fine dining experience that The Flight offers. I've never had a problem......until tonight (9/15/19). I owed $192 for my meal but I had a problem with my debit card so I decided to pay with cash. I pulled 3 $100 bills from my wallet and lay them out in front of to ensure I indeed had $300 and placed them in the payment book. I handed the book to a manager who was talking to us at our table. When he finally brought me my change I saw I was short. They claimed that i only gave them 2 $100 bills and a $20 dollar bill ($220). After going back and forth a bit with the lady manager I decided to give up and leave. I'm quite sure they will see a nice increase when they count their drawer tonight.

The most attentive restaurant in Memphis. Tonight, for the time in a year or so, I was able to dine at Flight. I forget from time to time how exceptional this restaurant continues to be. The hostess was amazingly sweet, she met us at the door (menu posted outside) and definitely sold me on entering, just with her lovely attitude. I hardly write reviews. I’m fairly critical of food and service after three years side by side with Montage Catering. When management inspects the cleanliness of tables, believe me, they inspect it, with a flashlight. Everything is fine tuned and thorough attention to detail is accustomed. It is so delicious!

Took the wife out on date night last weekend on a Sunday evening. Wonderful experience first time. I got the grouper and Bisen Steak and so did my wife. Grouper was better then expected as it came with a creamy style rice that had a coconut flavor. If you're a fan of coconut like me then ot was fantastic! What really stole the show however, was the flavor and taste of the Bisen steak which I requested at medium rare. It was perfect!!! This place has a wonderful desert selection. It took me a while to decide. I went with the apple crisp walnut pie with Ice cream. So delicious!! A tad rich but I love that! The atmosphere was nice, elegant and romantic, perfect for a date night setting. Customer service was superb. No complaints about this place and we'll definitely come back again.

Three weeks of eating in the USA and this was one of the best meals we’ve had. The food was well cooked and presented, but best of all the portions were manageable. The restaurant has an interesting concept of pairing courses, i.e. three fish dishes together, 3 meat together, etc. and similarly wine. Way too much for us, yet you can choose just one small plate from each section, or more if you wish. And they were all good, especially the fish dishes. We haven’t found Memphis to be particularly fancy for restaurants, but this was way above par. I think booking is essential as the place was really busy.

We could not have asked for a better experience than the one we had at Flight. When I told a colleague that we would be visiting Memphis, she insisted that we had to go to Flight. When I called, five days before we were hoping to visit, they happily squeezed in a reservation for us. Upon arrival we were greeted by smiling faces and a delightful atmosphere. Our waiter, James, was everything we could have asked for. He was an adept conversationalist and more than happy to answer any questions we had, but nowhere near overbearing. I would be happy to come back just to have him as a server again! The food was beyond description, and we were ecstatic to be able to try so many different options. I will be singing Flight's praises to anyone who will listen for a long time to come, and can not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Truly, truly amazing! I had reservations about the cuisine options in Memphis, but... The service is top notch, the menu robust and had something to suit everyone. I loved the "flight" options were on the wine and food. Similar to tapas, you can order small plates of multiple items or a doll sized if you had a hankering for one particular. Even nicer, the flights were organized by did theme, so you could order standard flights like seafood, red meat, or off the beaten path with 3 small plates like elk, bison and lobster, or a special French influenced flight of 3. We had the beef Wellington for app (fantastically cooked, great sauce); I had the elk and scallops, my wife had the bison and lobster. Following, we had a decadent "chocolate lovers" flight. Very sincerely, one of the best dining experiences of recent memory and we will be going back.

If you ever find yourself in Memphis, this is THE restaurant to experience. I say experience because it’s so much more that just food and drinks. From the moment you walk in the door, they make you feel welcomed and that they are genuinely there to make this the best dining experience you ever have. The atmosphere is very classy and romantic. Very slightly posh in the evening but allowed me in with shorts and trainers plus t shirt. Brunch lunch menu nice, slightly less pricey. Place is well curated with the partner visible most the time keeping the service and attention levels up. Food menu was interesting and the opportunity to mix up small portions from the different sections of the menu made for a very interesting meal. I had a red wine flight of 3 tester glasses with my meal and enjoyed a mix of 3 100% grain whiskey after. All up was 130 USD with tip. Great value. Go at brunch and have a beer with the food if you just want to experience the great cooking.

Visited on a busy Tuesday night along with a handful of coworkers. I ordered the steak flight medium rare along with the suggested "big bad cab" flight. All my my food and drink, and reportedly that of all of my coworkers, was fantastic! Wait staff was friendly and attentive, food was hot and delivered reasonably fast, and the atmosphere was casual and a bit cozy.

Beautiful restaurant. Love the concept of the flight... you can mix and match wines and entrees... unfortunately i had a very bad experience. My order did not come out. I was so confused by what the waiter gave me. Of course they attempted to fix the order but my table was finished with their dinner. Very slow service... no manager came out to speak to me about the experience neither... when it was time to cash out the waiter gave me the wrong check!!!! That was the last straw! The restaurant is to “upscale” to make that many mistakes!! They need training on customer service

Excellent food and service. The Bloody Mary is the BEST in town and the small plate options for brunch are creative and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the perfect setting if you want to be seen. The tables are close enough to join your neighbors conversation so consider your topics of discussions wisely.

We just ate at Flight for the first time and it was absolutely impeccable!! The decor and atmosphere are inviting and lovely, the concept is genius, the food was flawless and this was some of the most outstanding service I've ever experienced in a higher-end restaurant anywhere. If you appreciate excellence in your dining, do NOT miss this place!!

Wonderful experience! From start to finish-wonderful. Our server Madison was very attentive and very personable. We loved her. We had the same food runner throughout the night, named Kyle. He was super knowledgeable about the food. Sharp kid. It was my boyfriends first time and he loved it. We must of come at peak business time because traffic in valet was crazy busy and we decided to park and walk other than that. Great experience- 10/10 would recomend.

Been twice and definitely no letdown! Amazing food with great service in fantastic atmosphere. We allowed the staff to pair wines with our flights and they were spot on complimentary to each serving. One of my favorite spots now. Do yourself a huge favor and go.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The wine list is extensive and the food was wonderfully prepared and presented. Service was impeccable! My husband and I are from Southern California and this would top or compare to any of our top ten restaurants. Highly recommend this restaurant. Wish we had one near us!

My wife and I were in Memphis for the day/night. We weren't really hungry enough to go out for dinner. I saw Flight a couple of blocks from our hotel. The weather was getting bad, so I hurried down to Flight before the approaching storm hit. I asked i I could get something to go. The Director of Hospitality, Kelly Laub (awesome girl from Texas) said they don't do take out but said, considering the circumstances, they would. I ordered a charcuterie board. It was great! I brought my mother here for Mother's Day. I thought the wine cellar was in the main dining area, but it was actually downstairs. It was quite a pleasant surprise. The Wine Cellar a Flight is dimly lit, more intimate, and I enjoyed it the quieter setting. Also, complementary valet parking is such a golden idea, considering the restaurant's location on Main. The food was AMAZING. Enough said. Finally, our waitress - I believe her name was Lexi - was very attentive and patient with us. I noticed she had a lot of tables too, so the level of professionalism and poise she maintained is definitely worth mentioning. In conclusion, everything about our experience was fabulous and we'll definitely be returning!

By far one of the best meal and experiences I have had in a while. The 3x flight pairings of food is such a great idea. We had the ocean flight as an app... I loved the lobster ravioli and grilled shrimp-n-waffles, my wife loved the crab cake. For the entree we did the farmhouse/butchers flight that included Boar-n-mash potatoes, veal cutlet-n-cheesy orzo, and pork tenderloin-n-pumpkin ravioli. We also got a small dish of Buffalo rib-eye-n-au gratin potatoes. My favorite was the buffalo rib eye and the cheesey orzo. But is was all really good. Excellent service as well, they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne and strawberries since it was our anniversary.

Literally the only restaraunt we eat at to celebrate any event. We live an hour away and it's so worth it! The food is never anything less than exquisite! The staff are amazing, friendly, and professional. They make sure if you are celebrating a special event that they make your evening extra special. Hands down my favorite restaraunt of all time!! If you're a foodie like we are then you absolutely must try it! I promise, you won't regret it!

A few days later and I’m still thinking about our wonderful night at Flight. Beautiful restaurant, great location, superb service, outstanding food, and the ability to mix and match everything from the wine to the dessert made for an unparalleled experience! Walked into the restaurant early enough to enjoy the huge windows and light-filled, three-story expansiveness. We checked out the wine cellar first, and it was cool, but decided to go back upstairs to enjoy the open, airy feeling. Scored a table on the second floor next to a window. I was glad we’d had a drink at the bar first to study the menu and ask the bartender and others who’d eaten there about recommendations. The menu is expansive, given the possible combinations, so it’s a good idea to know what you think you want, or at least pare it down, before the wait staff hit your table.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was excellent and the service was stellar. The waiter even wiped crumbs from my table. I never had to ask for a refill and they bought out new silverware with every course. We will definitely be back often.

Delicious, delicious, delicious! Everything about this place is great. Starting out, it's on a great location with nice outside or inside seating. The concept of food flights (think pre-paired tapas) is so much fun. If you can't decide what you feel like eating, why not just go for it all?? Have three or four small meals in one? I think I will! You don't have to choose and feel like you missed out. Every one of my dishes was outstanding, fully engaging my taste buds and sense of smell. It's so great to find a chef who is not afraid to use his/her salt without going too far. Just right to bring out the flavors. The veggies were the right combination of crunchy and soft, the meat was at the requested temperature, the duck melts in your mouth. The wines are also good, again more fun in flights. Our server, Heather, was awesome: friendly, attentive, and on task. She got it all right the first time. Can't say enough how happy my belly feels walking out right now.

Great service and excellent food. Only complaint is that I wish they made the scotch flight more exotic. I'm sure you can ask for a different flight, but the listed series on the menu is not that exciting. Anyway, you've got to put this on your list.

This was an absolute spectacular place to eat. The staff was friendly, the entree flights were tastefully filling, and the wine flights offered paired nicely. The fact you could mix and match allowed for any 3 entrees to come together The wild boar and halibut were awesome in particular! Would definitely recommend this place for a higher-class night out

WOW. I saw all of the good reviews and decided to try this restaurant this evening. To say it surpassed my expectations would be an understatement. I highly recommend the steak flight of beef filet, elk tenderloin, and bison ribeye. The chef had my tastebuds dancing the entire meal. I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!! The service and atmosphere is also great. So glad I found this little gem in Memphis. I will gladly come back when I am in town again!!!

To be fair we were simply passing through but the raves for this establishment drew us out of our hotel to a street side table. The crab fondue and deviled eggs were great but we stopped there. The loud live classic rock background music, dirty wine glasses, topped off with a full glass dumped in my wife’s lap (not a problem, it happens) followed by “that glass is on us”! Not the kind of service I would expect from the “best place” in town. We enjoyed our time but would rate as very average from our experience not exceptional. The flights concept is unique and worth the stop. Try this place yes, wow? I don’t think so.

What an experience! The food and drinks were both wonderful! The charcuterie plate is fabulous as an appetizer for a group and we loved the seafood flight and tenderloin flight (a bit more than the fish flight). Had a great time! Our waiter was wonderful too!

Visited here my 1st time on a quick vacation trip. I found it by reading reviews on Google. I didn't do much research other than reading how good the food was. We walked there from our hotel and noticed valet outside the restaurant. All the women were dressed in all black and the men in suits. The restaurant itself was very clean and classy looking. We entered the restaurant, was acknowledged right away and seated. I don't recall our waiters name but he was awesome. Very informational, attentive and even gave us ideas what to do after we left. My wife and I were not very hungry and decided on one plate a piece. I got the shrimp and grits with a Ghost River beer and my wife got the wild boar. Both of these were amazing tasting. The meal came out pretty quickly too. This was my 1st time trying either of these foods and was highly impressed. I only wish I was able to take advantage of the flight dish meals to get the full experience (choosing 3 small plates). For dessert we got the chocolate chip cake. This was also very good (basically a hot muffin with ice cream). Now that I've eaten here, I am sad I don't have one locally. Highly recommend visiting here for a nice date night, excellent food and service.

I absolutely love this restaurant. This is my second time coming here with my boyfriend. I had the flight of three small plates for my dinner. It fills me up and each dish has its own taste. My boyfriend ordered the bourbon flight which was different.I always get the elk. It's extremely good and the mac and cheese just complements the taste. It's very delicious. My other dishes were equally good. The service is impeccable and really makes the restaurant

This was my first visit. It was great. Taylor was my table's server and she was beyond excellent. Had the blackened Halibut, Elk and Scallop Benedict. Also, tasted the Watermelon salad. It is a must try. After watching Hell's Kitchen for years, I finally had the opportunity to have Beef Wellington. It was delicious.

BEST DINNER EVER! Hanna was an amazing server, above and beyond! On top of her professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge of the menu, she was so sweet to talk with! She made sure our time at Flight was the best! Thank you Hanna for great service. Trevor was great, too, always getting us water. All other service was 10/10, too, wish we could’ve gotten everyone’s names! Must go to in Memphis for the breathtaking food and the restaurant supports St. Jude’s Hospital and their patients which makes me even more happy to have eaten dinner here! I loved the coffee. The appetizer, deviled eggs and oysters, is a must have. Everything was perfect in the Butcher Flight and the Traditional Dessert Flight. Huge compliments to the chef for the unique tastes and how well everything paired together. I could go on and on, but in the end this place is magical!

Great place. I have been here twice now and just love it. At first the concept may seem a bit gimmicky if you have not been here, but you will forget about that as soon as you see and taste the food. The French Connection flight is so good, and it's a great value.
