We would have liked to have stools to sit on. We felt rushed and our wine pourer didn't have much personality. He was very straightforward and I feel like we could have received more information on the wine.

Been there several times hoping it would get better but every time I left, I ended up in the bathroom going number 2. Something is wrong with their wine. I’m surprised they haven’t been shut down yet for health reasons.

We love visiting Boardwalk Winery every time we are at the Beach! The wines are delicious and make great gifts to bring back to family and friends. The winery also has unique glasses, cups and other gift options. The wine slushies are the BEST, especially during the heat of the spring and summer. Now if I could only figure out how to bring the wine slushies home with us!

I had an horrible experience here, the guy who was supposed to be waiting on me was rude and racist, he stopped helping me, in the middle of my wine tasting to help the white lady behind me, which made me and my family decide tht we no longer wanted to purchase anything there, when i informed him i was going to purchase a bottle until he was so rude as to skip me for the lady behind me, he acted as though he did not care, and when i paid for my wine tasting placing my money his hand, in return he placed my change on the counter, i told him tht he was a very nasty , and rude individual and i would be posting this publicly, he told me and my family have a nice day, and now tht iam reading the other comments i see tht this place must just hire racist employees, i would never recommended purchasing anything here!!!!

We stopped in for a very fun tasting, and walked out with a few bottles of local fruit wine. We had a lot of fun, and would definitely come back if we can.

I love wine and in the 100 degree weather, a wine slushy would be perfect. The mean, ugly lady behind the counter was very rude and I felt a bit racist. I stood there for a few minutes before she asked me "What you need?". Being my first time in the store, I asked about prices and sizes. She responded by pointing to a sign on the wall and cup sizes on top then walked away. The man behind the counter ended up helping us, but wasnt that much more friendly. I did buy as I was hot and wanted a slushy. Its overpriced and they will never get my money again. DO NOT GO HERE! Wet Willies is a short walk away, go there. The slushy wasnt good either!

We decided to try this place out, because how can you go wrong getting 7 samples for $4. Lol. Unfortunately the wine was just terrible. I gave two stars instead of one, because the lady helping us was very nice and gave us a few extra samples for free. Personally, the only kind of wine I don't like is Rosé. I tried samples from the dry category, all the way to the sweet, and my wife tried all sweet wines. Neither of us liked any of them. A lot of them had a weird "stale raisin" flavor. I had the taste stuck in my mouth for about an hour after. I'd rather have left a good review, but oh well.

THE BEST WINE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Me and my boyfriend tried 14 wines and loved them ALL. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A WINERY AND LIKED ALL THE WINES. If I had more money I would have bought more than the five bottles that I bought. This literally is the best place ever

Wines were cheap and tasted good. On the other hand the lady that did my tasting was extremely rude and kept talking over me!! Then she dropped a whole bottle of wine broke my glass and wine went all over my clothes!! And still made me pay full price for everything!

Wine tasting was good but the older gentleman ruined the experience for us. Real pushy attitude, and snapped at my wife: "what are you getting?" In a rushed and impolite manner . Never going here again.

Great for date night and those new to wine! My hubby and I were recently out for date night at Broadway at the Beach and after we finished our dinner we decided to head out into Broadway to see what we could get into. We ended up at the winery because we are new to wine and heard you could taste test the wines before you buy them. So we did just that! The staff was friendly and informative and the wine was tasty!!! We purchased a bottle (or three, lol) and enjoyed them. This was a great little spot and we will be visiting them again!

They are not friendly and Wine isn't good at all fruit doesn't smell or taste like the fruit they say. Better off staying with Duplin for good sweet Wines.

My family and I visited this winery yesterday 3/30/2019 around 5pm. Older lady working was very rude. This was our first time going to a winery so we were indecisive on what to order. Lady working rushed us told us to “hurry up” because she has other people to help. Was not a great first impression and will not be returning.

Wine is amazing and super cute wine themed items for sale inside the shop. Terry, our winetender, was very nice and knowledgeable. Wine slushies are 10/10! I’ll def be back!

Due to a lot of less than stellar reviews, I felt I had to leave one. We found this place three years ago on vacation, bought a box of wine, and it went way too fast. We were back last month and we stopped by again. We were a little close to closing because Google had their closing time listed as 11 instead of 9, but no problem there. We picked out our wines and asked for some advice on some with no problems. We didn't do a tasting since I already knew what a lot of the wines were like. I think the man's name was Duke that helped us, but I'm not positive. I'm horrible with names! When we went to pay my card was declined, because of the size of the purchase and that we were in a different state. I called Chase and they claimed to have fixed it, but it still never worked. We were there at least 15 minutes after close trying to get my card to work. He didn't complain once and he was so helpful. He kept all my wine behind the counter and we were able to go back the next night to purchase. I'm glad we stopped by!

The Boardwalk Winery is the perfect place to stop for a wonderful glass of wine. The bar keep Lisa was very friendly. Defiantly a must stop on your stroll along the boardwalk!

Used to make wines as a hobby. Grape wines had been open to long and had a nasty taste. Out of 7 I sampled found 2 that came close to drinkable. Server was not very friendly, in a hurry to get rid of us so he could go on break, spilled 4 of the 7 samples for my wife as he was pooring them. Not sure how a place like this survives.

Boardwalk Winery is a small family owned winery, is a can’t miss destination for wine lovers. The staff is friendly and the location offers great access to a collection of other small stores and attractions. The small setting makes it feel like home, and the friendly service is inviting too. Stay here long enough, and you might find yourself thinking you’re just visiting a friend’s house. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and excited to share their wines. The world just feels a little brighter in this tasting room. Expect a friendly smile and warm greeting, in addition to wonderful tasting wines.

Broadwalk Winery is Best.... the slushy was awesome, and to top it off got to sample various ones before I made choice. The staff was very happy to help with any questions. Just wish I lived closer....

Went into the Boardwalk Winery to pick out a gift for a friend of mine as I do every year. We asked to do a sampling of three wines and instead of giving at least two cups so that my boyfriend and I could both sample, he gave us one cup. I thought maybe he was going to get another cup so I hesitated in drinking my wine and within five seconds he asked me if I was going to drink it or if he should just throw it out. He basically made me chug my three awful tasting wines. Despite this, I was still going to purchase a bottle and some other gifts for my friend. While I was looking for the Chardonnay because he didn't seem interested in giving us any information about the wine or help me to purchase it, he started grumbling about how no one ever buys anything and they only do tastings. At this point, between the wine that had literally an inch of silt at the bottom of the bottle and his terrible attitude, I decided to prove him right. We made the four minute walk over to Coastal Carolina Winery where the lady was very nice and informative, and the wine tasted great! We told her about our awful experience at Boardwalk Winery and she told us that she hears about them being rude to customers constantly. Skip Boardwalk Winery and buy a handmade gift basket and wine slushy from Coastal Carolina Winery!

We stopped in for the wine tasting and loved their sweet and medium selections. We loved it so much that we bought 3 bottles and they gave us a free tote to carry. They will hold your wine for your while you continue to walk around and shop. Wine is at a good price too for $12.95 a bottle. I wouldn't mind seeing a muscadine wine but i found out the owner is not a fan of this type of wine.
