Went here once. Won’t be returning. I’m young but of legal age. The lady working the counter treated me rudely. She seemed to think I was using a fake ID. She made me feel like I was lying which doesn’t sit well with me. I understand a lot of underage URI students try to buy here but regardless it’s no way to treat a paying LEGAL customer

Staff is always wonderful, they always have that odd beer, wine, or liquor that you are looking for, and if not they will order it for you. They are consistent and friendly. I go here for all my liquid refreshment needs if I am in South Kingstown.

I've probably been to this liqour store 50 times. I live right down the street. I happen to have a Missouri ID and this has given me lots of issues, especially at this store. At the counter, I was asked to fill out my information in this book like I've done 5 or 6 times. I forgot the zip code and I was rudely turned away. Even after I showed my student ID and 2 credit cards. The woman in there was rude about the whole situation, and this certainly isn't my first time having issues with this store.

Very small cramped store , with a liquor selection that reflects it's size. In terms of price, Wolf Rock tends to be higher in price than other local liquor stores. These are not the reasons why I gave Wolf Rock 1 star, the main reason is how I was treated while I was there. To start, the cashiers glared at me as I walked through the door and looked at their selection, while periodically complaining about their reviews to other coworkers. When I got to the counter, I placed my I.D on the counter before the cashier rudely greeted me as she looked at my I.D. Now I know I look young, but the cashier said because it's an out of state I.D, she has to see other forms of identification. I get it, but no other liquor store anywhere has done this to me yet and my I.D has a few years of wear marks on it. I present her with 2 different cards with my name on them, she sneers and looks them over again. Rudely says "these aren't signed" so I offer to show her my insurance card or any other card in my wallet. She then has me recite my address all the way down to the zipcode (why not do this first?). At this point a line of 4-5 people formed behind me, and her coworker finally told her to let me go. Never before have I been treated this poorly at a liquor store. I will not be recommending this to anyone, and in fact, I will turn people away from it any chance I can.

I walked out before completing my purchase because I was bullied by the women at the counter... They told me to "come back when I turn 21". I am well over legal drinking age and I know that I look very young, but that is NOT an excuse for bullying customers. I will never come back to Wolf Rock Liquors.

Don't judge a book by its cover - this neighborhood store has a big city selection of quality bourbon, scotch, and craft beers. Great place to shop.
