The attitude of these guys is consistently bad. It's cramped and no one knows the wine selection. This time, I got "I'm too busy, find it yourself" There are other options nearby. For me, 5th time was the charm for them to lose my business for good.

Owner is a clown along with other staff, if I could rate this place zero stars I would. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a liquor store, not friendly or helpful what so ever. Save yourself the time and money and go to O’ Neil’s liquor store right up the street(a lot cheaper). The owner is a hot head and has zero respect for the customers at Schwabbys. I live locally and it’s a shame he’s able to run a store and get away with the attitude and disrespect he has towards customers. Don’t buy your liquor here!

Some prices competetive, but I paid just under $20 for an 18pk of Miller Lite. That's crazy. I will not be going back here for beer.

I arrived on a Sunday at 12 noon. The woman behind the counter was already not happy because there were about 12 people in line in front of me. All I wanted was 3 nips and I waited. When it was finally my turn, I asked for 3 nips of Admiral Nelson Rum. (These are the FACTS.) She asked me if I had searched for them in their multiple plastic jars of cheap shots. I had not. I told her that I did not work there and she should know better than I where they might be. She ended up getting them for me from under the counter. I am sure she had a bad day after that. I returned later in the day and put my foot in my mouth. I asked for 3 more nips of the Admiral and had to direct the person behind the counter to look down and open them up. I mentioned that a prior experience earlier with the woman there (a relative of the family) had made me nervous. She then showed up and not only insulted me again, but said she would have me thrown out!!! I said all I want is my 3 nips and I will leave. I did. Today, like a fool, I returned. The mother treated me well. The son, brother of the woman, followed me outside and threatened me. I have been going there for over 30 years. This could be called assault, and it certainly will never bring me back into that den of nepotism. Tread softly, Rhode Island Go here if you HAVE to. There are plenty of other nicer places out there within a few miles.
