Ridgewood Winery is one of my favorite wineries!! They have quite a variety for the sweet palette, dry, red white. And they always seem to be popping up with new delicious creations! Not to mention...the.wine.slushies. The enjoyment doesn’t end at the bottom of the glass while stopping here! If you’re into history or simply just like a story make sure you stop in to hear all about why this property is so special (no spoiler alerts) but you will find this establishment is listed as a Nationally Registered Historic Site. Owners Bill and Tracy are absolutely fabulous! Every time I walk in I am greeted with warm smiles, I feel right at home. They really work hard to make sure this is a wonderful place for you to come and enjoy yourself and it truly is! Bill has many highly decorated wines, so what are you waiting for?! Check out this place! They host many events, including summer concert series which I am a big fan of. Bring your chairs or blanket and get cozy with friends, great wine, music and fun!

I like the location and slushies were good but seemed a little pricey. The FREE ice cream and wine event was confusing. What was free??? Why did u need tickets? Uless it was for a count? Been to some other events and enjoyed but this one seemed to get u there but made it seem like it was something it is NOT. I do not expect a free full size of anything but a 2 0z of ice cream and a 2 oz of wine would help sell even more. I get it I work in food service. And if one of ur employee s make mistake in pricing u could at least gave one free instead embarrassing a customer in front of a room of people. It makes it seems that person is trying to pull something on the winery. Just saying

Probably my favorite Winery I've ever been to. Their watermelon wine is my absolute favorite. BlackBerry and Old Orchard are really good as well. Their slushies are the best. If you're a history buff you and love wine you should stop in. Ask Tracy for a tour

Nice property. Most of their wines are made from PA-sourced grape juice. They do not grow or crush grapes on-prem. Wines are typical of the Eastern US - not great, and not bad. Worth checking out of you're within 10 miles of the winery.

Beautiful location, great service, relaxing atmosphere and awesome wine!

The staff is super friendly. The wine DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. Definitely a great place to go for a tasting, even if you have never been wine tasting before.

Please don't waste your money on their murder mystery dinners! We went with a group this past Saturday and paid over $100 per couple. The event was advertised as a four course dinner and wine pairing. What we received was a greeter telling us to buy our own bottles of wine for our table, no dinner but bite size food, disorganization, an unprofessional owner, and many angry patrons!

We were there for a murder mystery that advertised Chef Wheeler del Torro. It was advertised as "Murder at Mardi Gras" featuring a 4-course truffles and wine pairing event. The tickets were $54 per person. They were over priced but we never expected the outcome of our visit. This is what we got: The event started late. The winery didn't close/stopped their usual wine tasting for the event as advertised on their website. Tables were not properly set. The owner went by and threw just enough napkins in the middle of the table. We had to buy our own wine because they didn't offer anything to drink while we were waiting for the event to begin. Food was not what I would call "Chef food". I didn't see any signs of truffles anywhere. No menu to see the reasoning for the pairings. Very small portions. We had to share utensils since they took them away along with the empty plates. We got two sips of wine only after asking for it. We were asked to be part of the murder mystery (and we were there to participate and have fun while doing so) and eat while acting our part but if you weren't at your table when the food was being served you would have missed that particular course. If it wasn't for my husband and friends I would have missed a few courses. The owner told us that the reason she couldn't serve wine was because if we got into an accident she would have been responsible, which is understandable, but she was telling us this as if we were drunk (there was no way we could have been drunk since we only bought two bottles (for 9 of us) thinking we were going to get wine with our meal). We kept explaining to her that we had 2 designated drivers that night (we still didn't get what was advertised). I also mentioned to her "if you would have provided the wine with the courses as you advertised, you would have known exactly how much wine we all had and we would not have had to buy any wine at all." We didn't stay until the end of the event. It was such a mess. I am not sure what deal was there between the chef and the winery but both were subpar. The whole thing was such a disappointment... we will never go back to this establishment. Murder mystery at Ridgewood winery? DO NOT GO!! Was there anything good about our visit? The building where the winery functions is beautiful.

My husband and I went for a tasting. Wine was great, a big fan is the reds. Bought a bottle of merlot. Decor is great and most importantly, the owners and people working there are nice and informative! They know their stuff. Would definitely recommend going.

Terrific wine, friendly and helpful staff.

Wine is always excellent, summer blush, Fredonia, and diamond are some of my favorites. However, little disappointed that the tasting is no longer free when you buy a bottle of wine.

Adorable little winery! Try the sangria or the blackberry! Good stuff!

Great place! We went here to try some wine for my birthday. They do a great flight. 8 wines you can chose to try. You get a complimentary glass with their logo, which we loved. We also bought a bottle and sat out front to drink a glass. We’ll be back!

Laurie Stierly

The owners are so nice and friendly, and the wine is outstanding!

Although the sweet wine is more popular here, I liked the Whites. If you are not fan of the dry ones, you will like it here as none of the wines are too dry. Liked the tasting experience and friendly staff. They will walk you through each wine with in-depth information.

Went to the wine and ice cream. Was very disappointed. Gave you a taste as big as my finger nail. They're also skimpy on the wine tastings. Thought I'd get a slushy. Went to buy the "special cup". They wanted $15.00 + tax. Just for the cup. Thought it was$9.00 with slushy in it. The $9.00 slushy was a tiny little glass. Didn't look like 8oz. don't look like 8oz. Plastic cup to me! Also the women with glasses was very rude. Probably won't go there again. Very pricey for my taste!!! .

I love this winery. The staff is friendly and funny. $5 for a tasting and you get to keep the glass. My favorite is the watermelon wine. They have wine slushies in the summertime. The building is also very neat. Bottles are a little on the pricier side, but I've never left without at least one bottle.

Slushies are awesome here. Out of the many times today I've been here, there was only once that there was a problem. One bottle of wine at bought, and it didn't taste right. Not bad, but noticeably different than when we tasted it during the tasting. Ridgewood replaced the bottle, and was very nice about it. They have lots of great events throughout the year, including hosting events for ARL (Animal Rescue league). The building is also neat, as it's historic and was once part of the underground railroad. Very good spot, highly recommended!

A perfect way to spend the day! Grab a blanket and some friends and enjoy some of the best wine in the area. Ridgewood offers a unique experience paired with great tasting wine. This family run winery makes you feel at home and welcome as soon as you arrive. They have many seasonal wines perfect throughout the year that range from sweet to dry. The delicious wine is matched with a property rich in history. They offer many unique events so check the calendar when planning your visit. Personally, I love the concerts! Definitely a must visit!

Mmm finally found a good red wine in Pennsylvania. I really enjoyed their Fredonia. My friend and I also really appreciated the helpfulness and knowledge of the gentleman who poured for us during the tasting. The only thing lacking was cheese. ( But it's my fault, I should never visit a winery hungry.) However that being said, I would definitely have stayed and opened one of the bottles along with the crackers I purchased had they sold some cheese. We will go back.

I attended a special event at Ridgewood where the winery partnered with a chef to put on a wine dinner and murder mystery. Based on my experience, I will never patronize this winery again, and it will take a lot of convincing to attend a murder mystery event. Although a lovely facility, the owner of the winery is not so good at providing a good customer experience. We expected a wine pairing dinner, but instead we got a series of tapas style "courses" with two wine tastings. The event part of the evening was chaotic, loud, and totally disorganized. We were encouraged to move to other rooms to meet the other characters in the murder mystery, but it turned out that if you weren't seated when they served the food, you missed out on that course. In general, the food was cold, lacking much flavor, and just flat out disappointing. As far as the wine, the tastings turned out to be insanely sweet wine, not to my liking. If you prefer a higher quality wine, try another winery. We bought a bottle of Gewurztraminer whose bouquet smelled more like something that came from an animal. I would NOT recommend it. We tried expressing our dissatisfaction to the owner, but that was a lost cause. She blamed everyone else, and did not accept any responsibility nor made any impactful strides of remedying anything. Just a big disappointment. There are lots of fantastic local wineries, try those instead of Ridgewood.
