We offer you the feddbacks of people like you who are buying the services of Pinnacle Ridge Winery (Winery) in the state of Pennsylvania.
At this moment this business has a rating of 4.0 out of 5 and this score was based on 80 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is quite good, and it's based on a high number of reviews, so we can be quite sure that the valuation is quite accurate. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Winery belongs to the category of Winery.
Es estar en el cielo .algo muy bello y agradable exelente atencion .
I am or WAS a good costumer of this winery. My family and friends were as well. I called to get information on a few people coming up as a group and spoke to the owner. This women was so rude answering my questions and then had the nerve to hang up on me mid sentence. I was not being rude and there was absolutely no reason she needs to treat myself or anyone else like that! Completely uncalled for. I called back and spoke to a man that answered my questions like a normal person. This winery just lost business from our group that day and I will continue to let all friends and family and other business owners know what an unfriendly establishment this is. Skip this winery and go right to Folinos winery, excellent wine at Folinos and they are friendly!
I was never at a winery where they met you in the driveway to tell you they wished they would have stayed closed and couldn’t have more than 6 tasting which is what we had tasting, I would never go back again Worst customer service ever! Can’t believe they are featured on Berks County wine tour!
Refused to schedule a tasting for 12 people 2 months in advance. There are plenty of wineries in the area. Shame on them for denying customers. Their loss. We would have spend hundreds of dollars here. Won't be going to this winery every again. They can have all the gold/silver/bronze medals from the Finger Lakes wine competitions. I'll make the drive for the real thing which is far better to begin with. Had rude service every time I was here in the past as well. Buh Bye Pinnacle. In response to your response: I gave a bad review not only because of your “policy” but because I’ve been at your winery multiple times and have been treatly rudely each and every time. Your wines are good but not good enough to justify the rude service each and every time. So, that’s what justified my bad review. This is literally the only bad review I’ve ever given. Think that says something.
The wine list had dry Reds / Off-Dry to Sweet Whites and sweet selections. It took us a few minutes to decide what to taste. You can taste 6 wines for a small tasting fee. I can find one or two wines at most wineries that I like. I liked all of the wines I tried here. One of my favorite was Cab Franc. It was so good we bought a case. The staff and the owners Brad and Leoni were very friendly and knowledgeable . We will be coming back for more!

Great dry wines and check out the website for music and food trucks.
Love it! Great atmosphere and talented bands. Yummy food trucks. Just wear your walking shoes since you may have to park pretty far away.
Best winery in Berks County! Their Chambourcin Reserve is perfect!
Fantastic wine and great staff!
Brittany you wanted to come with a group of 13. We have a policy no limos , no buses, no groups over 6 people. I tried to explain this to you but you ignored me, this is our policy, I am sorry but we can't change it.
Terrible experience at this winery. I called over a week in advance to confirm their business hours since it was a holiday. The gentlemen on the phone was friendly and confirmed 10-6 with tastings stopping at 530. A friend from out of town who turned 70 traveled all the way to spend time with loved ones so we rented a van in order to all be together. We chose a few wineries in the area and mapped out our route. We drove 45 minutes to Pinnacle Ridge winery only to be approached, and I say approached not greeted, because we were approached by a very grouchy rude woman who immediately insisted they do not take groups larger than 6 in their tasting room. Which I knew because I had been to the winery before and read it on their website. I tried to explain that 2 of us were not drinking and 3 of us had been there before we didn’t even need to do tastings! So we tried to offer to split our group which was in alignment with their “policy” of less than 6 to make it more convenient for them and she rudely stated that “we would not receive good customer service.” Which is rather ironic considering compared to the wonderful customer service we were currently receiving(insert sarcasm). We were not in a rush and planned for plenty of time at each winery. She then shrugged her shoulders and said “today was supposed to be my day off.” I suggest in the future you don’t open your business doors if you feel that way. Apparently your policy is to not make money. The winery wasn’t busy this day and I’ve been in the tasting room before and there was well over 10 people in the downstairs tasting bar. It was not unpleasant or uncomfortable at all. In fact I enjoyed meeting new people and hearing their take on the wine and if they had pairing ideas. What is more upsetting was this woman’s attitude and approach to customers. We went on to 2 other wineries who welcomed us with open arms, smiles and a great time. Policy is policy I understand that, but this situation did not need to be handled the way it was. Especially since we were willing to split our group up.
Amazing, I'm addicted!!!
Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Very friendly and knowledgeable as well. And the cat that lives in The Tasting Room is absolutely adorable
Our favorite PA winery.
Great wines, excellent snacks to try while doing so and the only real down side was the fact that we took an Uber cab out there and we were almost stranded but I could think of many worse places to be stranded than a place that serves delicious wine!
Very nice place to relax and listen a good and varied band on the weekend, also had the chance to bring your own food to munch or buy from a food truck that offers Ecuadorian food made from a real Ecuadorian person which was really good and was liked from all the people I hang out.
Many good whites, a few good reds.
Neat atmosphere....very interesting barn Excellent server, explained wines very well
Venue is very nice. No place to sit and enjoy. Wine is adequate, but low alcohol percent.
The staff were really friendly and they do cool events such as hosting frog holler today. Definitely would recommend.
Good stuff
you're not allowed to bring your own sealed water bottles! how ridiculous!!
Couldn't even tell you about their wine because we left before we could even think about tasting it let alone purchase any. Dont bother if you have any number close to 6. Our group of 6 was asked multiple times how many were in our party. Yes, we understand your policy. Yes, we saw it posted on your website and door. Yes, we have only 6 people. However, after being spoken to 3 times and never once hearing anything kind or welcoming from any staff member we walked out and took our business to a different winery down the street. This may be a great place to go with 1 or 2 other people but nothing more.
Excellent wines!
Always happy to hang out in barn and listen to the bands. Favorite summer thing to do!.
This place has a great mix of things going on. There is a wine tasting room that accommodates groups smaller than 6 people, just an fyi and then there is the barn that has bands and a lot of seating room! There is also a bar in the barn so you can purchase other drinks instead of wine and this is currently cash only. I had a great time tonight! The band was great, I cant wait to come back
Beautiful venue, friendly people, and wonderful light and smooth wines. I will definitely come back!
One of my favorites in the Lehigh valley.
This winery is truly a gem. Great selection of reasonably priced wines by owners who care. Concerts in the antique barn are not to be missed.
Very nice setting. Our wine guide was extremely helpful and knowedgeable about the wines
Fantastic wine by the best wine maker in Pennsylvania.
Excellent small and charming vineyard with a nice tasting room. Wines were my favorite out of all I sampled on the Lehigh valley wine trail
It is ironic that for every comment about poor customer service, the owner provides a snarky response that only reinforces and confirms the negative customer service comment. When a response includes a comment like "we have every right to make whatever policies we think appropriate", you are clearly missing the point. Folks are not complaining about the policies themselves, they are complaining about the poor attitude in explaining the policies. And there are way too many consistent comments for it to be a one off situation. Researching a few local wineries to visit for a day trip and this one has been scratched from our list based not on the negative reviews but instead on the owners response to the reviews.
stopped for wine tasting and found a food truck was there also. my wife and I each ordered. we then went to sit down at the picnic table and was told we could not seeing we did not pay admission for the band playing today. so we sat down on the lawn near by and enjoyed GREAT food from Cone Appetite food truck. while eating, person selling tickets for the band came over and said we would have to leave. Management did not want persons on the property unless they paid for admission to hear the band. It was a no brainer, we were NOT going back in to purchase wine we tasted. Like many of the other reviews have stated, other wineries are around, will NOT be returning to Pinnacle. Pinnacle needs to improve their approach to making the customer feel wanted.
We had a great time here. We were there for a band in the barn. It was busy, but the service was fast and the crowd was fun. You can buy drinks or bottles from the bar. Returned on another day to do a tasting in the tasting room. The tasting room is nice inside and the employees are friendly.
Kool
Very knowledgeable and through staff . Wines mostly all award winning. Artisan balsamic vingers and flavored quality olive oil (attractively packaged) available. Wine tasting Only $5.00. Make sure to give the cat some lovin before leaving.
Great wine , they had a band playing in a barn no cover just walk in can't wait to go back.
We went to this winery and their wines were okay (definitely below average for PA wines). Right off the bat, the wine server demanded the $5 for the tasting fee before even starting an introduction or any explanation. They charge a tasting fee which they refuse to waive even with a purchase of a bottle nor do you get a tasting glass. While we were the only people in the tasting room, she was constantly leaving us; despite the fact there was another girl working and little education was given regarding the various wines tasted. I am all about the educarional value of the experience of visiting a new winery and this particular one definitely fell short of our expectations and soured our experience of our wine tour. We highly recommend Folino Estate Winery which is right up the road and we went to after and had an excellent experience.
Fun visit to my first PA winery
I used to love this place. However, when I visited today, I felt rushed through the tasting and at the end of the tasting found out that they no longer take the tasting fee off of a purchase. There are many better vineyards in the area, literally within a mile, that are friendlier and offer a better customer experience. I recommend trying somewhere else first.
The wine from Pinnacle is great! However, the people are not. I would suggest simply purchasing elsewhere. We showed up with a group of 10 people for a birthday party. We were very rudely approached in the parking area and told we were not welcome. "No groups over six!" No problem, only six people were tasting / drinking but they wouldn't know that because they didn't even bother to ask or welcome us to their winery. There was also no other customers at the tasting room. I was the driver and this nasty woman told me not to come back with a large group again as if I ran some sort of wine tour. No worries, I won't be back. We visited 2 other local wineries that day and were greeted with open arms and a warm smile. **Update** While i understand the winery has a no group over six policy, the manner in which they seem to enforce this is unprofessional at best. Instead of explaining this policy politely and trying to work with us on a day when there were no other customers, we were screamed at in the parking lot. They also seem to insult lost customers when they receive a bad review.
There for Frog Holler. Great music, great wine, local beer, and great food from Grumpys. Perfect weather.
Brad makes a wide variety of very good to excellent wines. Pinnacle Ridge also offers classes which are not only educational but also fun. Summertime music weekends in the barn always on my calendar.
At a recent visit to the winery, my wife accidentally broke a bottle of olive oil. We purchased 3 bottles of wine and a bottle of olive oil. After we paid an employee came over and said the owner sent her to tell us we had to pay for the broken bottle. I didn’t mind that we had to pay for the broken bottle but the owner should have had the courtesy to come and tell us personally. We camp in the area a couple times a year with camping clubs. You can be sure we will tell them about our experience and will not return.
Don't let this place overwhelm you! Upon walking through the door I found it stuffy, but soon changed my mind. The gentleman working there was enjoyable to talk with and certainly had a better command of their offerings than any other location we stopped at on the wine tour. The wine is great, the landscaping impeccable, and this place is well worth the stop!!!
Arrived here on a Saturday. Theresa was our host for the session. She knew her wine. She told you a little about the winery and made everything special. I bought a couple bottles and wished I got more! I love the Blanc de Blanc and the other sparklers
Enjoyed stopping by to sample their wine. We found a few bottles to buy, but we weren't a huge fan of the wine in general. Perhaps it's the taste the soil gives the grapes, but it was still fun and everyone there was very nice.
We had a group of 9 for a company outing. We told we were not welcomed at their business. Ignorant and disappointing for a local business.
Great selection, super-friendly, great atmosphere. My favorite is the Niagra.
Very friendly staff welling to help you... it didn't take long for them to unload me ,and I was on my way to my delivery...
