It was a 45 minutes wait so we left

I’ve never felt more alienating for dinner in my life. I’ll be honest, the line to the ladies room was around the corner, so I went in the men’s room. I was then cut off from alcohol (fine) and then our table was served like we were criminals. The food is decent but not worth the price with the atmosphere.

Armando Ordonez

Place was great, service was awesome. Cupcakes can improve.

Tracy Luke

Beautiful winery, good wine and great staff!! Fun events all the time.

Patsy Foldes

This vineyard/winery was absolutely beautiful.

Deb Webber

This a beautiful place!. We were here for a wedding. It was gorgeous! The food was excellent ! Authentic Italian cuisine. The wine was delicious. I loved the wine shop there too. So much to choose from. We will go back there for dinner on our own and future wine tastings.

Kim Shrom

10 STARS what an outstanding job they did on service, food was delicious and hot. Antonio, the manager was her accommodating, Myles And Lindsey did an outstanding job waiting on our 31 guests...they were super human because they served us plus other tables..and thanks to Kelsey for helping with the details...Great place for dinner or a party...im a fussy Italian and trust me if I say it's really good...it is really something.

Abby Leitgeb

Great wines with great scenery.

Jiah H

Gorgeous atmosphere, great salad (be sure to ask for dressing on the side), under 15 minute wait time for food, friendly servers, and servers kept a calm face even with how busy it was during lunch. Family's lunches all looked wonderful and smelled great too!

GINGER MCLEAN

Beautiful venue, great wine and fantastic restaurant. Highly recommend.

Jessica Clark

Service was great. Drinks were great. Food was just ok.

M Sholl

Very nice place, beautiful setting but lousy service. Served ice tea with no ice and never asked if we wanted refills. I mean come on, not everyone cares to indulge. Chicken parmesan over cooked and pizza had little to no toppings it was supposed to have with a much too spicy sauce. Our third visit but our last for a very long time!

Justin Carraro

The Folino Estate is exactly what it aspires to be in their story on their website. The layout, architecture, views and ambience are very reminiscent of places in Tuscany. A few poplar trees would seal the deal. The family story is inspiring to say the least. I enjoy the wine and think the food is delicious. While I don’t doubt some reviewers have had poorer experiences I think if you visit consistently as we have, you will arrive at a much different conclusion. It is a gem of the valley! I recommend to whoever I can.

chad shields

Great place for dinner. Big, clean, well organized a wonderful atmosphere and a great menu. Eat here. Trust me.

Richard Jones

Came here for our 1st anniversary tonight on 7/2/2017. Food was great enjoyed the atmosphere. Had a great time until the "Manager" came over and basically kicked us out and refused to sell us a bottle of wine 5 minutes after their closing time. Was sort of blown away by how we were treated by the Manager after having spent as much money as we had just spent..

Melissa Wagner

Money hungry and very rude!

Steve Sharp

Nice people, some good wine, worth the sampling!

George Harold

Had a great time at the wine festival and the place is beautiful as well. It makes you feel like you're in Italy. would definitely come back

Trudilynne Pina

First time there we sat at the bar, One bartender female and a young new employee Maddie! Service was so so, the new employee Maddie was great running around trying to service everyone and personality! The main bartender girl Morgan, she seemed like she was I another world, lacks personality and zest ! Food awesome, ambiance awesome!! Bar so busy really needs help!

Philip LaRussa

Great food fantastic wine.

George ZDadPA

Excellent food and service, and the manager Antonio was pleasant and helpful. And the wine is excellent!

Katherine Mills

Great food, great wine, great service!

Lawrence Rosary

Amazing place

Michele Rumberger

We enjoyed the wine and our server was very knowledgeable! Cheers

John Marquette

An unusual location for such a big dining room with a full liquor license. Ample parking, tasting room adjacent. A hillside has vines ready for vines for their own wine. Probably the nicest restaurant affiliated with a winery in this part of the state.

John Romanski

Folino Estate should get two five star reviews: one for it's tasting room where $5 covers 6 samples of their wines (out of 10-12 they are serving each day). The restaurant has a number of Tuscan inspired dishes that combine to provide the nicest fine dining in the Kutztown area. We had salads, the gnocchi and the pizza during the opening weekend. All were made fresh from quality ingredients, but the gnocchi stole the show. We will be back soon!

Jae Jewell

This place is just awful. I could not believe how disorganized they were and how rude the staff was to the patrons. Our meal was mediocre at best and we never got to do wine tasting because they were just a mess here. I highly recommend driving past this place and going to other vineyards down the road a bit as you will receive good customer service at the other places but definitely not at this place. We even complained to the manager and he literally could not have cared less. We will never be back.

Kelsey Niekamp

I had my wedding here in September. The coordinators are fantastic. They keep you on track along the way and make sure your day goes smoothly. The food is delicious. The setting is beautiful. The service the day of was great, outside of the 2 comments below. I only gave 4 stars because they ran out of at least 2 kinds of beer. They also forgot to make the batch of sangria (that you pay extra for, and lose if your guests don't finish it) until halfway through cocktail hour one of my guests insisted that I purchased it. While they didn't ruin the day, it was just a little disappointing since you are paying A LOT of money.

Jerome Kissling

Great event. Will try and make it next year also

Karen Chappell

Made reservations for lunch and Wine & Donut Pairing Event for Sat, June 23rd. What a disappointing experience! Items ordered were not served with ingredients listed on menu (half the plate of a fresh mozzarella and tomato salad was filled with green olives, which I don't eat). Told that bitter-tasting risotto was due to charred brussel sprouts when I complained (brussel sprouts are not even listed as an ingredient for this risotto dish). Spent $77 for lunch for 2 people and an additional $24 for event in tasting room. Despite having a reservation, I had to wait for a cramped space up against a wall at the counter. Donuts were stale- 2 of 3 varieties that were served were inedible (hard and dry). Reached out to restaurant to express concerns and received generic response (told my concerns were shared with owners, management, and staff but issue with menu ingredients was not addressed). Folino was MUCH better in the past. Definitely will not be returning.

Had brunch with some friends and totally enjoyed the gorgeous views of this beautiful property. This vineyard is an escape form the ordinary to some charming destination in Italy. Food and service was excellent. We will definitely be back for dinner and would love to experience this true gem of the Valley again.

June Benson

Had a "friends" day and went to the wine & pasta pairing tasting. It was fantastic! I arrived later than my group but the hostess helped me catch up. I did not feel rushed at all. This was my second time going to Folino Estate and I had a great time! I highly suggest going to their restaurant for a lunch or dinner following a tasting. Their location at the top of the mountain is beautiful! Perfect place for a Bachelorette, there were 2 parties at the restaurant, and perfect scenes outside for wedding pictures. Get the Affogato for dessert, Gelato with a shot of Espresso poured over top. Loved it and coming back in September. Monthly tradition!

Raymond Stoudt

Great service and varied menu with nightly specials. Atmosphere just a bit loud.

E H

1st time visitor and I have to say, this is a great hidden gem in the Lehigh Valley. Spectacular food, wine and people. Zane at the bar was the BEST, truly customer oriented. We appreciate the attention and service that he provided. We will definitely return many time!!

Frank Reichl

Friendly place good food and drink

Eric Fluck

Some of the best service I have ever had and that means something as I used to serve! Excellent food, hot and quick. Was great!

Vivian

One of our favorite places to have a great glass of wine.

Diana Enriquez

Very nice place, good wine, nice environment, the food it’s really good, different variety of dishes but the only bad part it’s that they bring you the check whit out asking wen they are not even that busy, and the bartender was really slow but in a rush (not really good). Really wonderful place for a wedding, I assisted to one this weekend the waitress and waiters were really great and a perfect location.

William Reppy

Very nice atmosphere

My daughter had her wedding and reception at Folino's winery on October 1,2017. The estate is one of the most beautiful places to have a wedding. Amanda who coordinates everything for the wedding is an amazing person!! The food, the wine, the staff are among the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Our band for the wedding was Jeff Bellfy & co. and they are an amazing band for your event! They are very personable to sing and play anything to make your day perfect. If you have your wedding at their facility with Amanda doing your event you will have a perfect wedding day! Amanda, Thank you for my flower repair and everything else you did to make my daughter's day PERFECT!!

Brennan Pankiw

Getting married here on 8/19/2017 Absolutely beautiful. Phenomenal wine, irresistible food. Everything is just.. Perfect.

Vanessa Rivera

What a great day at Folino's, I brought 11 people with me for wine tasting and then an early dinner. The grounds are beautiful the staff was super nice and helpful. Food was very good. What a nice experience my whole family loved loved the place. Please keep up the good work especially with your customer service. We will return they have different events there which we are looking forward to attending. *special note to Emma she was our server was very attentive to my large party. Also the bartender was very nice.

Jared Bennicoff

This review is only for the restaurant and not for the actual winery or their wines. Went for brunch and was very disappointed. Ambiance is good but food was terrible and service was poor as well but friendly. Had the caprese Benedict and it was very bland, with almost no hollandeise sauce(had to ask for more) and the sauce tasted like mustard without any additional flavour. My wife had an odd mixture of pasta sauce and eggs and sausage and it was very bland as well. Not impressed and will definitely not go back. The only problem with service was that they mixed up drinks and then charged us for drinks we ordered but never got, however they were very apologetic and polite but did not make up for the worst eggs Benedict I have ever had.

Joan Bailey Swinehart

The venue is beautiful and menu is authentic Italian; however, the actual meals are only good, not great. I thought it was odd that my side salad had blue cheese on it. If that was mentioned on menu, I don’t remember, and I definitely would have asked for it without. I would have thought mozzarella would be used. The mixed drink prices were high and my espresso martini was disappointing. GNA In West Reading makes them much better. Wine is good. Like others have said, it’s noisy - seems to be a trend in many newer restaurants these days. We will return, but not anytime soon.

iya and cc

Went there for my sisters bridle shower dinner and they went 35 min past our reservation time. After we sat down we all got water then 25 min later manager came over and was giving us problems about drinking alcohol and we all had water. And hour and 15 min later our food came out. Was an unplesent experience all the way around. Not sure how my food was cause by the time I got it I wasn’t hungry anymore

Ndw 100

Very disappointed with our visit. Our party heard very good reviews about wine tastings at this establishment and decided to try this place out. Upon one of our group members trying to make a group reservation, they were told if we were intoxicated we would not be served for over a ten minutes conversation. This is when our party should have gotten our first clue not to come. Once we came for our tasting, we were told our tastings would be $10 instead of $5 we were told on the phone. This wouldn't have been an issue if we weren't treated like we were the guilty party. Small wine tastings and a negative atmosphere left everyone wanting to leave quickly. I guess the customer is always wrong. Doubtful our guests or myself will be returning :(

Theresa Kreiser

My steak came 5 to 6 minutes after everyone else at my table Got Served. My steak was not cooked to the temperature I requested. We ordered tomatoes and mozzarella with basil and only received 3 skewers. Other tables received for skiers. The mozzarella was dry and the basil was very bitter.

Marc Wilson

Came here for dinner, this place is beautiful. I felt like I was in Italy. Also as able to look at the venue for a wedding and its unlike anything in Pennsylvania

Aaron Nabozny

Folino Estate is definitely one of the best (if not the best) Italian restaurants in the area, without a doubt. All of the pasta are homemade and better than any of the pasta that you will get at any chain restaurant. All of the staff is extremely friendly, the location of the restaurant is excellent, and the restaurant is simply amazing.

Michelle Harvey Curtis

Went for my daughters 21st birthday for a tasting and had a great time. I'm not big on red wine but their's is definitely some of the best I have ever had. I enjoyed all if the wines we tasted. Will have to go back and try the restaurant. The staff are awesome. This place is beautiful! !

Chuck Hall

Great meal. Cabernet Sauvignon was really good!

Andrea Colajezzi

Yuck! Absolutely tasteless food. Glad we were there with wonderful friends at dinner it made the food bearable or it would have gone back. Steak tasteless and cream sauce on pasta like paste.

Steve Meitzler

Quiet pleasant atmosphere. Food is excellent and priced far below what it’s worth. Fine dining quality food at causal dining prices.

TINA Montagner

We had a great time at Folino's. The food was great and the wine was as well. We'll be back.

Jesse Lucena

Absolutely loved this place. I went there for wine tasting and lunch. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly. When doing the wine tasting portion the lady was very informative of the different wines and gave us great pairing options. She made out wine tasting experience a great one. The food was extremely good. Everything from the appetizers to the pizza to the wine and our waitress was amazing. Definitely recommend this place to anybody. Will definitely be visiting soon.

Mary Ann Metzger

Food excellent! Beware if you have a party of 8 or more. You will get only one bill and will be charged 20% gratuity on full price even if you have discounted drinks or food because of happy hour.

Joseph Candelmo

Ladies and gentleman this is a wine tourist trap, the wine isn't even remotely worth the tasting fee ($10) or bottle prices, not to mention the juice comes from off site...save yourself and continue 200 feet down the road to Pinnacle Ridge for some of the best wine in the Lehigh Valley...

Kim Seyler

It was a little difficult to make reservations since no one answers the phone and you just leave a message and wait for them to call back. Once you get here it is really nice! Wonderful date night! Great food, wait staff was happy and friendly, and clean. Will definitely be coming back again. Not sure if we should bring the kids next time.

Richard MacCready

Wonderful food, wine and atmosphere. The only negative point is the dining room is large and very noisy. Yes, I would return for dinner, but only at the very start or end of the dinner hours due to the noise. Additional acoustic panels are needed beyond the ones that are glued to the ceiling. How about buying paintable panels and employing the art students from nearby Kutzstown University?

Lori Higgins

We sat outside on the patio and the weather and the view were perfect! Our server was charming and he didn’t rush us. Catching up with a friend that I hadn’t seen since high school, 40 plus years ago!! The food and sangria was delightful too!

Jessica Camacho

Visited for a wedding reception. Beautiful scenery, and the bartenders were so nice and helpful! The food was decent, but I will definitely return for the wine and service alone. ☺

Randi Mosco

We loved this experience. The person who made it was Jean. She was very knowledgeable of not only the wines but the grapes used to make them and great pairings with each. She took her time and explained each wine to us in detail. We did not feel rushed and she was very personable. We enjoyed the wine and gelato pairing very much. Really brought out some of the flavors of the various wines. The estate was beautiful and the restaurant had delicious food. We had the lobster pizza and Cantaloupe prosciutto appetizer and both were delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try a bunch of different wines and who want knowledgeable servers pouring. Will definitely be back here.

Wesley Works

Great setting for a very well done reception site. Add this to your list of venues to consider.

Shannon Carvin

Some of the pasta tastes weird sometimes, but the pizza is delicious. The menu is in Italian so it is hard to read also.

Rick Todorow

Love this place., Great food, wine and service. Beautiful facility.

leda mann

Wonderful! Had our daughter"s wedding there[ Mann/Napoletano 7/22/17].Everthing was beautiful & delicious. More than excellent staff and service. Special thanks to Amanada for going the extra mile. Much appreciated for all your hard work to make the wedding so very special. Highly recommend Folinos.

Carl Deitrich

My wife and I have been here several times and enjoy each visit. The service and food are top notch, and the wine's pretty good too ;) The building inside and out is very clean, well kept, and very open. We have had lunch and dinner there, and gone to many wine tastings and have had a great time at each visit.

John Puzio

Great wine excellent place for a wedding reception

Adam Pezoldt

Free Pictures with Santa. It wasn't overly crowed and excellent atmosphere.

Dani Adames

Garbage money hungry company with cold food, poor service, and small portions.

Samantha Chichearo

Amazing food - from the appetizers to dessert! Awesome (HUGE) portions!

Abby Rodriguez

Had my retirement dinner and it was an amazing experience! The food was excellent and the wine ranges from sweet to dry so it pleased everyone in our party. Service was phenomenal as well.

Aaron Gaither

Beautiful atmosphere, great food and even better service! Perfect location!

George Mastros

I loved this place. I went with a large group of friends for dinner. The menu had a lot to choose from, but it wasn't overwhelming. We were all able to easily find dinner choices that catered to our individual diets, and everyone loved their entree. The cost was a little pricey, but you're paying for quality and you get quality. I can't wait top go back.

Mike C

The atmosphere is nice, servers are friendly. I had better veal marsala from a mom and pop pizzeria at a mall for half the price. I got cut off after sampling 4 wines which was disappointing trust your customers a bit to zero in on a good wine! The deserts were good. The food is ok the wine is much better. For the money you spend on food you should go elsewhere for a better dish!

mikki1626

Folinos is great, and the wine is delicious. The staff is friendly, Jason is awesome!

Carolyn Damiano

Beautiful place, however 10$ a person for a wine tasting (of 6 wines - small pours) is a little ridiculous, especially when they did not have several of the wines even available to taste. We were excited to try this winery as we prefer dry wines and they have more than most in the LV. Wines were ok, but nothing to rush back to buy.

Cory Manning

Horrible service, good food. Waited 40 minutes just to get drinks. Spikey brown haired guy with chinstrap beard did not know what he was doing.. Thanks for ruining our anniversary.

Christmas 123

Amazing. Our server was a delight and the venue is fabulous. Food was great. It was our first time there but will not be our last.

Bryan Flaim

Went for a wine tasting with 6 people, the wanted $60 just for a tasting. Very exorbitant fee, so you can see what you like before you buy. We left

Julie Pescinski

Had my wedding here in March and couldn’t have asked for anything better! Amanda did a wonderful job helping my family and I plan this special day. Communication was on point! The venue was beautiful! The food was delicious and I had many guests tell me how great it was! We had a live band who brought all their own equipment and was able to come early to set up ! At the end of the night the staff was so great at helping my family and I clean up our flowers we needed to take Home! I was beyond happy with this venue and Amanda!! Food staff and event space was wonderful!!

Art Berger

Excellent! beautiful place, reasonable prices & good food.

Betty bray

We went there today after visiting the Rodale Institute. Our intention was wine tasting but were pleasantly surprised to find out they had a restaurant. We were not expecting to eat so only ordered the choose 5 appetizer and calamari. The cabernet sauvignon was one of the best we've ever had. The calamari was good but could have had a little more calamari and a little less greens. The bread was fresh and delicious and the choose 5 appetizer was great. The service was good and the ambiance was amazing. We don't mind dropping $54. For lunch when everything clicks. Kudos to Joey, our server. He was attentive and pleasant. We are definitely coming back for dinn

Lester Gensey

Food was amazing! Samantha was great! Wine was seriously some of the best I've ever had! Two thumbs up. Will definitely go back!!

Adam Mukerji

Outstanding facility - beautiful location - great food and wine - beautiful all round!!

Mayller Cuda Hernandez Abreu

The best

Eric Gubish

So this place is a little up and down.. have been there about 5 times... 1st time great.. 2nd time service was so so... food has been typically good until tonight. Blah..$65 before tip for 2 people... portions were smaller than normal. Had a 3:30 reservation. Showed up about an hour early and was told we could get in about 3:15. Went to bar. Told hostesses we would be at bar, they said we will find you.. well 3:40 rolled around and we went up to hostesses after seeing about 15 tables open and asked and they said oh ya, we can seat you now.. ridiculous. Owner walks around but wont acknowledge anyone.. stared at him but he wouldn't make eye contact with anyone... last chance at this place because a similar scenario happened before where they said it would be 45 minutes to get a table and went around corner and saw more open tables than occupied...totally done with this place

Anthony P.

It was ok. Server came once to take food order and that was the last time we saw the server until check time. Salmon was pricey, yet way over cooked. Chicken saltimbocca had way to much glaze or sauce or whatever it was, fair at best. Worth a try, but stick to the basics such as the sandwhiches or pizza.

Heather Chase

'Blood of the Vine murder mystery dinner was very disappointing. Appetizers were good but main meal and dessert was sub par. Act was a read narrative and was quite boring. I've been to murder mystery shows that were fun and interactive - this was far from it.

Kelsey Alderoty

Great place with so much character! So many types of wine to chose from

Amy Nemeth

My coworkers and I were there for our Christmas Dinner and the service was slow and some orders were mixed up. My wine didn’t arrive for 20 minutes past everyone else’s and my coworker ordered pizza with roasted Brussels sprouts and they forgot them initially and then put RAW ones on it!! Then they demanded we pay 20% gratuity on the discounted items we had and it was ridiculous! We have gone there since it opened and they have never done this in the past. My husband and I also went there the weekend before and my filet was supposed to be medium well and it came out barely cooked and then they brought it back and it had minimal flavor. My husband had the mussels and said they were the worst he has ever had. This use to be one of my favorite places to go and it has gone down hill.

Donald Eck

Need some new menu items same old same.

Kate Lopez

Beautiful property, delicious Italian menu, recommend the sparkling red Frizzante Rosso!

Aaron J. Edelman

Great service and good food. Atmosphere was nice, cool venue.

Raelyn F

Hands down amazing.

Denise Del Vacchio

Great restaurant, the wine is pretty good for the region. Service is friendly and the view is spectacular!

E. Miller

Fantastic views with a patio, full bar, and restaurant. Judging by the large event spaces, they spent quite a bit of money on this facility. The wine is pretty good too!

Diane Wiest

Great time, food was delish and the staff were very friendly.

Sheri Steele

Great as usual!

Frank Fiore

Attended a wedding here, EXCELLENT food and wine!

J Horn

Wine tasting was great....you can buy chocolate to go along with pairings. If you plan on eating dinner in the restaurant, make sure you call ahead for reservations. That's the best thing to do, or wing it and sit at the bar (like we did). Food was delicious. Staff behind the bar work like a well oiled machine....doesn't hurt that they were easy on the eyes!

Patricia Geist N.D.

Very good a little pricey

Humberto Reyes

This is a great place with great food.

Diane Larsen

Great find! Really enjoyed our wine tasting and an awesome dinner outside in the beautiful vineyard. Like the Hamptons in PA!

Jere etr rr et ry2 Baker

Great food and wine

Bill Hunsicker

The wine tasting was $10 per person and did not even give you credit if you brought bottles of wine. We have been wine tasting in many place and have never had to pay $10 for wine tasting. Beware if you go there.

Sheila Bohn

I had made a reservation for my birthday for five people on Sunday August 25th and when I got there the man at the front desk had no reservation for my party and he was extremely rude.

John Iacovone

My wife and I just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. This year we decided on a trip to Pa wine country that ended at Folino's. We did not make a reservation as the venue seemed secluded enough that one would not be required.. They did offer seating at the bar along with full menu and of course there is take out. Secluded, it was without a doubt. Beautifully secluded and very accessible , it was a full house. The hostess told us it would a considerable wait as they were booked. I took her offer to sit at the bar with my bride and settled on the idea of takeout. Much to our surprise just minutes later the hostess, knowing it was our anniversary, rather than just letting the matter end there, managed to seat us in what was a more than reasonable amount of time to select from their wonderful menu and fully enjoy our meal! Our wonderful competent server Lindsy A gets an A++ in taking care of our time sensitive situation, she even brought our deserts to us neatly wrapped and ready to go as we caroused the beautiful gift shop! I would give them 10 stars if there was an option. Don't miss out on Folino's ! But make a reservation!! :) Thanks again Lindsy A!

Graham Younger

Good wine, good food!

Pamela Kremus

Visited for their Fall Festival. Very crowded, long lines for food and drinks. Overpriced. Band was very good. Nice setting. Too bad it was more of a summer day than fall.

Tracy Lynne

Food was great but they were totally unprepared for outdoor summer dining. There were very few umbrellas and those they had were not secure and kept blowing over. We were told the sand for the umbrella stands was on order. It was very hot and uncomfortable and we were unable to enjoy the beautiful scenery for our 27th wedding anniversary. We eventually just went inside but the main reason we wanted to go there was to dine outside.

Jeremy Hannah

This a nice place. I've been twice for my company award ceremony. Food is decent. View is beautiful on sunny days. It's a little rustic. I've heard its expensive to rent. But its nice.

Dennis Bavaria

Fantastic place with good wine! The Riesling is very good for PA. We had Beckett as our waiter, he was excellent. We have been visiting the winery for 3 years. I highly recommend it!

Robyn Graul

Excellent! Great wine, great service and excellent food!

Alaynna G

Beautiful estate and the wine tasting was great! However when we ordered a bottle with dinner, it was completely different and barely drinkable compared to delicious tasting we had moments before. Our food came out mediocre at best, the pasta was reminiscent of chef boyardee ( honestly the can stuff was better) the manager was apologetic and compensated but overall big disappointment as I had very positive experiences here before

Joe Collura

Very nice atmosphere with really good food and wine.

Ashley Hari

Nice spot. Off the beaten path. Cute wine gifts. Restaurant had a good menu but I wasn't overwhelmingly impressed with the food when it came. Wine is good for a PA wine, I prefer others. Wine tasting isn't as involved as some of the others i've seen. It's standing at a bar, no food options or packages like some other places. Could benefit from that in the future. The outdoor space looked enjoyable, but being as though it was November we weren't outside. If you're up for a winery experience, give it a try.

Georgia Thompson

A truly wonderful meal. The atmosphere is delightful. A wonderful date night

Nina Sunder

Setting is beautiful, the venue is nice too. Food is terrible! No flavor. Pizza was burnt. I will say they made us another one without any hesitation. But they need a new chef. Because the place has the potential to be a great restaurant but they need a better chef.

Bro

Great food. Lots of their own wines. Microbrews in bottles. Need tap beer.

Christian Caputo

Everything about this place is excellent every time we have been there!

Lisa Caruso

Had a great time at Folino's for a first visit.. The Drunken pasta was super good and the Barbera wine was delish. Service was excellent, and the place was beautiful.

Tim Labar

Overall all experience was very good. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The lasagna was excellent!

Dave Anderson

Food was great.

Donna Smith

Delicious food and wine.

Cuono Costaria

the wine festivals are amazing. love this place and the vineyard

David P

We have been there twice in the last 3 weeks and LOVED it! The food was amazing and wine was excellent. Came from Bethlehem, definately worth the ride.

W M

Excellent food, wine, service

Lou Zandy

Great food and wine...always a pleasure and the wait staff are the best !

Rizlaz Z

very excellent afternoon spent at this vineyard. Excellent wine, very pretty location.

Chad Michaels

Environment is fantastic, food is amazing and the service (Sam and Beckett) were awesome. Best place in the Lehigh Valley!

Kimberly Hager

Need a reservation even for a wine tasting. We were turned away even though there were open spots at the bar. Super rude service! We went to Pinnacle Ridge down the road and had an amazing experience!!! Wine is half the price, fantastic service. Don’t waste your time at Folino!!

Constance Jarrard

We tasted 6 wines which were delicious. Then we decided to eat there too. This month's Sangria was Blackbery Lavender Lemonade. Omg!! Wow!!! You MUST go there. Wish it was closer to where I live.

Joseph Castrovillari

S Always a pleasure good food, nice atmosphere. Have enjoyed many meals there.

Shannon Citro

Attended a bachelorette party here. The tasting counter staff were fantastic and super fun to chat with. The wait staff were busy and potentially understaffed, so service was a bit slow. Still a good time with quality food. Try the grilled wine and cheese sandwich!

Dani Branson

Wish I could vote less than a one star for this company. I have never had a worse experience with any company in my life, than I did with Folino Estate. I cannot say enough to STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENUE. I wish I would have seen a review like this before I booked here because it would have saved me a lot of time, money, stress, and energy. In this case, I'm attempting to share this review anywhere to try to help at least one bride from making a huge mistake like I did. Wedding planning is supposed to be fun, because you're planning the best day of your life, but this company completely ruined it for me. The venue itself is very pretty, but in the event that it rains, the backup space is not. After all hidden fees, you'll wind up spending over $25k at this venue (I planned for a little over 100 people). They charge extra for children, for young adults, etc. They have a $15k food and beverage minimum that if you don't reach, you need to pay out of pocket. There is no microphone for the ceremony, and no speaker system to use for when you walk down the aisle (more $$ for a DJ). In the event that your wedding may need to be moved, or cancelled, they will not refund one bit. That is the case for me. They are keeping over $10k from me just because they couldn't book another event on the date I had for my wedding. Not to mention, when I attended the restaurant for brunch, my food was cold and underwhelming. Also, the wine tasting is unimpressive and pricier than many surrounding vineyards. When I left a negative review on another website, Folino Estate's attorney contacted my family threatening to pursue legal action for telling my honest opinion, as well as calling me "mean-spirited" and "immature". Save yourself the time, money, and stress, and book somewhere else, because you will regret it if you book here.

Wonderful food. Great service. Beautiful dining room but...the noise level was astronomical. I could not carry on a conversation with a person 2 feet away.

Very accommodating. Very classy. Great food

Sherri Vargas

Wine amazing. Food just ok.

Mark Davitt

Great food and wine. Love the atmosphere and the staff is always friendly.

The only reason I am giving 1star is because the waitress was very friendly. The food was horrible. We had a group of 14 people. The chicken parmigiana was over cooked, the veal marsala was tough, the eggplant parmigiana was greasy, the pasta dishes were “swimming” in sauce, and one person ordered a tomato/basil pizza and they forgot the basil. If you want to add shrimp to a dish it is a $6 upgrade and I only got three medium-sized (medium is being gracious) shrimp. This was definitely the worst meal I have ever had in a restaurant. Don’t waste your money. You would do better getting a bottle of wine and making spaghetti at home.

Great food, atmosphere, and wine!

My wife and I finally made it to Folino Estate to sample some wines in the tasting room. We've never liked any Pennsylvania wines(and we've had quite a few) so we weren't expecting much. Wow. We sampled all of the reds they had to offer, and they're hands-down the best in Pennsylvania, right up there with California wines. The folks running the sampling room were very friendly and knowledgeable, and unpretentious, which was nice, since other wineries we've been to in PA all seem to have somewhat snobby personnel. Now, let's talk about the food:). After our wine sampling, we went into the restaurant, as we've heard many great things about the food, including the wood-fired pizza. We were seated promptly by the hostess and greeted promptly and welcomed warmly by our waitress, Samantha. It was a Thursday afternoon, around 4pm on October 5th. Her service was prompt, friendly and attentive and much appreciated:) The menu had so many wonderful things to choose from, from unique appetizers to entrees, to a nice selection of wood-fired pizzas. We ordered the Bianco, a white pie with ricotta, prosciutto, arugula, drizzled with garlic oil and topped with pecorino romano shavings. It was superb: the crust was thin and delicious and it was extremely enjoyable. We also ordered the calamari which was probably the best we've ever had: the coating was light and crispy without being too much and the meat was the most tender of any calamari we've ever tasted. To drink with our food, we ordered a bottle of their Lorenzo Forte red, which was dry, full-bodied and just terrific. Pricing was a great value as well. We will look forward to many return visits!

Casual-fancy dining. Family atmosphere. Delicious handmade pasta dishes. Bread was to die for. Dessert was sublime!Excellent spot for quality Italian food, hidden behind Lenharstville/Kutztown. Worth checking out. Definitely recommend!

Great place to visit, drink wine and eat great food. My wife and I love going there

I set high expectations for this lovely restaurant with beautiful grounds and ambitious menu, and I really wanted to like it. Our lackluster fried risotto ball appetizer was followed by a wildly mediocre, mushy lasagna for me and mushy, very large gnocchi covered with some weird-tasting sauce for my husband. My daughter's pizza was firmly in the "meh" category. I set my wine expectations low. The wine was surprisingly not awful (if i recall, we got a Cabernet Franc), but for the money, pretty much any non-PA Cab would still surpass it in taste. Still, it was a decent effort for a winery in this area. In the end, it's a shame someone spent so much time and effort to build such a beautiful facility only to dish up overcooked pasta even Olive Garden wouldn't serve.

Cruising Caique

Very beautiful and the people there are very nice. We stopped by as we were in the area rving. We had a lovely time sampling their wine, but we weren't a huge fan of any of the bottles. Despite not liking the wine, we loved every moment there. And we did end up finding one bottle we enjoyed.

I've been here three times now. I enjoy the wine, the ones I've tried have all suited my tastes. Frankly the meals have never been all that good. They look great but they have never tasted better then just ok. The thing that bothers me though is the noise level. With the cathedral ceiling and concrete floor there is nothing to absorb any sound and so it's very loud. Loud enough that I can't follow any conversation that isn't directly directly at me. It's a beautiful place but it's not for me.

DNR Adventures

We love it here, good wine, good food - BUT $10 per person for tasting is ridiculous - we don't go here too often just because of this. Other vineyards in the area are more reasonable, $5 or $6, or even free tastings (Clover Hill) - whoever thought of charging $10 for tasting needs to stop drinking their own wine.

We stopped in here late on a Saturday afternoon hoping to do a tasting. we were asked if we had reservations, of course we didn't, who makes a reservation to do a wine tasting? they said that they were too busy and we were turned away. Oh well, other wineries in the area got our business instead.

Folino exceeded our expectations. We went to celebrate my sister's upcoming wedding and were blown away. We started our day off with Sunday Brunch- which had amazing selections. Then we went to the wine-room and had an AMAZING experience. Jason was awesome. He made sure we were all happy, gave great recommendations, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves even after the tasting. The ambiance was just what I was looking for. This was our first time here and we cannot wait to come back in the future! Thank you for everything! Please thank Jason as well again!

Always a great experience here along with the amazing food and wine

Went for the fall festival. Way overcrowded, not enough food, and very long lines!! Wine was good, but not good enough for me to want to come back.

The Folino Estate is an amazing location for weddings, events and dining. The interior is so clean, modern and rustic. The spaces are large for receptions and outside is perfect for a ceremony. I was there recently for a wedding styled shoot and fell in love! This is certainly a must see venue for your big day or a fun place to eat and drink wine!

Chloe Hartung

The atmosphere here is amazing! Our service was excellent, the wine and food were delicious. We will definitely be back!

Good wine, great gift shop, food smelled good.

Had a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party for our daughter and son in law. Food and wine were excellent and the service was impeccable. Nicole was very easy to work with and took care of every detail from the beginning to the end. All of our guests had a wonderful time and complemented your attention to detail. Would highly recommend using Folinio Estate. The memories will last a lifetime. Thanks!
