Good wines and snacks with a great mountain view.

Twisted Cranberry is very tasty. Tastings are $1 each up to 5 tastings. That is a nice feature when doing multiple stops. I chose to only try 2 and was not charged the normal $5 tasting fee.

It was kind of "meh." Absolutely do not go there planning to order a dinner, or anything more than a snack. Not that the facility can do a WHOLE lot (they could do a few things) but...as we sat outside, (everyone does) the way the flies swarmed as soon as there was even a little food, was both super gross and annoyingly tiresome. I had to keep one hand free at all times to perpetually swat away dozens of flies trying to befoul my They also have like, no food. Apparently you can bring your own..? (Who would even think about that on a first visit?) Their own menu consists of literally four things, two of which are pizza items. However we got a meat and cheese tray ($12)with roasted peppers and a little bit of bread ($3 extra substitute for Triscuits) Aside from one of the meats being sweet bologna, it was a great snack pairing with the wine. Although there's not a whole lot you can do wrong with pre-sliced meat and cheese, except select a meat or cheese selection... sweet bologna definitely gives away their redneck roots. That being said, their wine is surprisingly sophisticated, especially for this area. They had some very good reserve selections; their semi-dry choices were also good, except for the Tiramisette (or something). It was supposedly semi-dry, spicy with a peppery finish (BIG fan of peppery wines) - it was none of that. It was much closer to semi-sweet and not a bit peppery or spicy. But most if the wines were pretty decent, I enjoyed the Chardonel and the Reserve Reisling.

I am not a wine drinker and this was my first time at this establishment. The only reason that I went was for the entertainment. I did have beer but no wine. The people around me seemed to enjoy the food and wine very much. Nice atmosphere. My reason for going was to see Danielle Lee Farhat. A young musician with INCREDIBLE talent and a GREAT voice. I would definitely recommend that you try this place out and better yet, when Danielle is playing!

My wife and I absolutely love this place. They have amazing wine, pizza and bread. We really love this place because they have actual food and not just the cheese and crackers you find at most places.

Nestled in Newport this place is a Hidden Gem. Easy to find off 22 and the Midway exit. Our group Maudlin Moon is our first time to playhere and the owners are very accommodating and helpful. Food is available. You owe yourself to pay a visit!

The stromboli is delicious, the atmosphere is great, we always have a good time when we go. A really nice family owns it and they take pride in making it a great experience. We go on a regular basis.

This is now my favorite PA winery. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The wine is great. Unlike most winery's they also serve food. The pizza and Stromboli are to die for. We drive about 3 hours to visit and have never been disappointed.

7/16/17 - Had a wonderful spur of the moment visit with my high school classmate and her husband from Maryland. We enjoyed the great weather and of course the fantastic pizza and stromboli. Mike, Mary and Tony are wonderful hosts. Mary can explain to you the different wines and their attributes and what they can be paired with food wise. One thing that Bucks provides is a bottle of water on the bar if you wish to rinse your glass between tastings. Not all wineries will do this, but it is your choice Tony even took us to the vineyard for a tour and explained to our friends (budding winemakers) why they trim the canes and pull leaves off. If you are looking for a relaxing afternoon or enjoyable evening with music, food and wine, this is the place to come. I think I will stop over today just to chill out and talk with new people. 5/13/17 My husband and I visit Bucks Valley Winery every Saturday for lunch. The pizza and stromboli are over the top and so much better than any of the local pizza shops in the area. But the wine, what can I say but wonderful. We love the Michelle Ma Belle and the Old Worlde White. Of course there are lots of other wines that might meet your fancy. Visit some weekend you will be back.

The best pizza I have ever eaten anywhere! I like everything Mike makes. He puts his heart and soul into both the food and the wine. My personal favorite wine is the Twisted Cranberry..a little tart, a bit sweet..the perfect blend. And be sure to try Brooke's cupcakes while you are there. They are the best!

Michael Sweger

Awesome pizza and boli. Wine wasn't bad either. Reds could have been dryer for me, but my taste buds are shot.

Wendy Evinger

Great wine

Mark Rabuck

Very nice place, friendly people, nice selection of wine. Got a bottle of Niagara.

Nadine Witmer

My new favorite winery!!!! What's better than great wine?....Great wine & good food!!!! Amazing made-to-order stromboli, pizza & more! Had the BEST Raspberry wine slushee there, topped off with a stromboli! Family friendly, enjoyable atmosphere! Looking forward to my next visit!

Took a wine tour this weekend and Bucks Valley was the last stop. We walked up to the tasting bar and were never greeted or acknowledged. When we finally were acknowledged that we wanted to purchase a tasting, we were told to "hold on while i get this persons order (who literally walked up 5 minutes after us) . After visiting 7 other wineries this weekend, this was the most disappointing winery. Will not be back..

Lisa Sayah

We visited the winery a few weeks ago, and really enjoyed it. The Stromboli was the best I’ve ever had. The wine slushees were fabulous too. It is a beautiful location...the scenery is gorgeous...we hope to get back in a few weeks when the leaves change....one of my favorite wineries in PA!

Great atmosphere, wine, food, and entertainment

Steve White

Great relaxing evening. Music by Mike Maggs made it great!!

Kathy PROSSER

What a beautiful place and view. We sure enjoyed the white pizza and the mango slushy was amazing. Large selection of wines. Definately going back.

Don Thompson

I would say the venue is very nice. However $1 per each taste of wine seems a bit much. And that sip was not much. This is centra PA not California. You Get more for your money at other local wineries! The wine was decent. Have spent a lot of time at Seneca lake wineries and this was ok but cannot get over the high cost of a small tasting size situation.

Allan Rapp

Great ownership, wine, stromboli, and pizza!

Cathy Arce

We've been here many times, and the experience is always great. We love their Niagara and the homemade food! Always a good time!!

Great place to just relax and have some good food and wine

Awesome Winery! The food is fantastic. Handmade pizza crusts with homemade sauce (must be a lot of hard work and long hours put into this). The atmosphere is wonderful and the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. Big fan of the dry whites. The new Port is also amazing. We sat outside on the Porch and took in the excellent views and a couple of games of Cornhole. Cannot wait to get back for a visit!!! Best Winery in the State!

Sheri Zeiders

go for a wine tasting then buy your favorite bottle of red to go with the delicious homemade stromboli. sit inside or sit outside on the deck to see the beautiful view and sunset.

Sheri Conner

Go for the wine, stay for the pizza and stromboli!

Timothy Newswanger

Wonderful staff, wonderful wine, and wonderful pizza!!!

Harry Goodman

Love the food, love listening to the singing group.

Rick Reichert

I would say the venue was really nice.. But we did a 8 stop winery tour this weekend and this was our last stop. Walked up to the bar. Was overlooked was not even welcomed at the bar.. Sure will be glad to take my business elsewhere that does not charge $1 per taste seems a bit high. Only 1 person behind the bar for a Sunday. WON'T BE BACK

David Brill

Great time with Friends watching the games today, good fresh made to order: stromboli, pizza, salad, antipasta, wine, beer and slushy drinks enjoyed by all.

Pat Voght

First visit today with my Red Hat sisters, what a charming place! So peaceful and we'll kept up, food was wonderful, great stromboli, also had the meat n' cheese tray, had such a charming server too. Can't wait to visit again. Oh yes, the wine. Left with quite a few bottles for later enjoyment.
