What an experience! After driving past the vineyard property for over a year, I booked a wine tasting + tour for my mother and me. We were DELIGHTED with the experience. Juliet was our ambassador and she was fantastic. She had impressive knowledge of the vineyards history and the wines she selected based on our preferences was fantastic. We walked away with 4 bottles after an amazing dinner. The curry on the dinner menu was phenomenal as well as the cheese and nut platter appetizer. We were really thrilled with Juliet and I look forward to working with her more after becoming a member! Because of her service, I read all of the emails that come through my inbox from WVV and have even placed order online for released bottles. Since our initial tour, I have already been back and will continue to visit!

We had a great time! Our host was very knowledgeable and friendly! The suite was well kept and beautiful! The wine selection was very enjoyable. The views were the best we have ever seen. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

My wife Eileen, Paul &. Darlene visited the Willamette winery by invite by Kaila. Kaila was so kind to give us a fantastic tour and tasting. The Wines are excellent and Kaila and staff very personable, knowledgeable which made our visit very memorable. Look forward to staying in touch and ordering more wine selections to be shipped to us in TN thank you Doug

Beautiful vineyard, amazing views, and an awesome wine tour. Shout out to Ryan, our fantastic host, for making the tour super fun and interesting - he was incredibly knowledgeable about the whole process and shared some winery stories that made the whole experience really lovely. Our group had a blast with him, and I’d highly recommend the tour because of it. (Plus, the wine was delicious and lunch was great!)

One of the serves was one of the most rude condescending people I've met. Had a business meeting paid for and she was SO rude to each and every person here. I've loved everything else but she ruined the entire expirence.

Mike Hoefer

Very memorable. Great time at the seafood festival. Great music downstairs where the magic is made..huge stainless tanks of maturing vino and countless casks. Courteous and knowledgeable staff make this a place that we enjoy visiting. Looking forward to our visit.

Had an awesome VIP tour and tasting. Gourgeous property, very classy set up. Our host was very knowledgeable and easy going which made the expeience fun and enjoyable. Fantastic outdoor seating to enjoy their wine and sprawling views. If I lived closer I'd spend a lot of time enjoying their winery.

SO before I moved to Oregon (I'm from Florida) I got a bottle of Willamette Vineyards Rose. It was a 2015 and I didn't really know what to do with it. I am a red wine lover...and I looked at it and immediately thought...mmmmm. White Zinfandel? I got over the snobbery and tasted it. I was immediately taken by Rose. I have really wanted to get to WVV because of that. But Salem isn't in our normal "wine tasting" route and I had done a tasting in their McMinnville tasting room, which is super cute, intimate and nice. BUT we had gone to Enchanted Forest, which is essentially the next door neighbor to WVV. So I said um, let's do this. They have a great menu, with lots of vegan, vegetarian and GF options. And it is GOOD food. It is pricey, as you'd expect at a vineyard, but it is GOOD. On to the wine. I LOVE the Whole Cluster Pinot. It is probably one of my favorite wines. BUT they don't offer it on their tastings. They DO, however, sell it at Costco for a great price! The tasting flights are $10 for the regular flight (5 tastings;) and $15 for the reserve. I think this is pretty on par for the wine you get and for a vineyard in general. I wasn't crazy for any of the wines we tasted. The Chardonnay was a pleasant surprise, as I usually hate Chard, but overall it was decent but not exciting. The setting. GORGEOUS. They have a viewing tower that you can walk up to (be prepared to climb some stairs) and have a 360 view of the vineyard and valley. It is stunning, and worth the stop if you're visiting, or just love our beautiful Oregon scenery. The tasting room and patio, are also really comfortable and welcoming. We had 2 kids (3 and 5) with us and there were lots of kids there and lots of families. Our kids devoured the hummus plate and loved the angel hair pasta with tomato, basil and garlic. So did I! It was delicious. The tasting room staff is very friendly and the service is great. You don't get the personal touch of a small vineyard, and time with the staff that you get to explain the vineyard soil, harvest and weather. I do love that personal touch that our small vineyards give us. But I can't give the service anything less than 5 stars. I think it is a must see/must stop at for anyone who loves wine and beauty. I was not crazy about the wines, but they are good, just not great in my opinion. The staff, view and tasting room are all fabulous though. So give it a whirl!

Kaushal Goundar

Great wine selection and good service. Views are great. Wine tasting options are excellent

Patricia Rhodes

Beautiful space with spectacular views. Very big and impersonal. Mixed cheese, meat, and olive plate for $24 was overpriced as it had nondiscrpt cheeses and dried out olives. Did not pair well with the wine.

Carole B

Spectacular views and great wine!

Jorge Barnard

Very friendly staff and a breath taking view. Add some wine to that mix and you are gonna have a great time!

Meredith Burke

Stopped here because we wanted to do a tasting in the valley somewhere convenient on our roadtrip. We were honestly blown away by how beautiful the grounds were. Just the drive up to the tasting room is beautiful. Staff was all very nice and knowledgeable. Didn’t rush us along and encouraged us to enjoy the scenery and wander around the terrace, tower, etc. Would definitely come back if I were in the area and recommend to others. Thank you!

Matt Perry

Pleasant experience and great food. Great tasting wine as well.

Earl Beugelink

We are staying in the lower suite and did the tour yesterday with Victoria. Wow...we love it here. Spectacular views, amazing service, and beautiful wine! Highly recommend a visit here.

It was my second time back and much like the wine I had today, it just keeps getting better and better with time

Tolles Weingut, die Weinprobe war großartig mit Wende. Preise sind subjektiv sportlich.

We had the most amazing day at Willamette Valley Vineyards when we were visiting our son and his girlfriend in Oregon. After spending time touring wineries in Sonoma on our trip (also an amazing time), we couldn’t have been more pleased with the attention we received at Willamette. We had a personal tour with Steve and learned so much of the history of this beautiful winery, and we tasted many incredible wines, too. We were already fans of the Willamette Valley Whole Cluster Pinot Noir, but found a few new favorites on our visit. Our son readily admits he prefers a cold beer to a glass of wine, but even he raved about the Quinta Reserva Pinot Noir Port. Steve helped us put together a case to ship home to Georgia and there was a nice variety of whites, reds and even a delicious Rose’ – and no one in our group is a big fan of Rose’, but the Willamette Rose’ is outstanding. The grounds of the winery are beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying a cheese platter and wine at the end of our visit – the views are spectacular and we were in no hurry to leave. Our trip to Willamette Valley Vineyards was a highlight and everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, we joined the Willamette Valley Wine Club and just received our first selections – can’t wait to try these wines. Dan Stone

This is always a great olace to visit. Tastings are always fun and tasty! If you are a member you can have tastings in their Memebers Only tasting room. Also, if you are a member, you can go and have a great time at one of their Pick Up Parties!

Might leave a better review if I could reach anybody. No one to help make a reservation. "That department" is never in when I call. Left voicemail, no call back. I call again "they're at lunch" or "they're not here yet". Must not need customers. Someone should always be available to help a customer don't you think?

Hollina U

This place was definitely worth the extra 50 minute drive from Dundee Hills. I wanted to go here because I love driving by the huge Willamette Valley sign in front of the vineyards. I had always seen it when I was on my way home from Eugene when I was going to U of O, but I wasn't into drinking wine back then. I love how big and open the tasting room here is, and the expansive view of the vineyards that you get. There's a nice patio that you can sit at outside that would be perfect in the summers--- too bad we went at the end of March when it was still chilly. Really enjoyed the wines here--- the 2014 whole cluster pinot noir was so good that we had to snag a couple of bottles--- at a great price as well! If you buy two bottles, it waives your tasting fee, which was $15, so a pretty good deal! The service here was great too---- the two people behind the counter were very helpful... even splitting our wine tasting into two glasses, which was convenient for me and my sister. I'd love to come back and try the food!

Alisha Little

The wine is so good. Way better than Calfornia!

What a great place to spend a summer afternoon. We enjoyed the wine tasting in their beautiful tasting room overlooking the vineyards. Dinner was really good also. My wife had a tasty lamb chop and I had a kobe beef burger that was equally great. Would love to come back in fall.

Amy B

A beautiful place ! Had an amazing visit today.

Jorge Montejano

Veronica made our experience a very joyful one. Very professional and one of a kind.

Nicole Margaronis

Views were wonderful. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately, bad customer service. We purchased a bottle of wine to enjoy outside. We got back to our table and poured it and it was a white wine which we thought was a pinot noirs. I guess that falls on us. But when we told staff they were just like sorry. Just wish they would have made it right. Then when we ordered food they helped 2 people that came after us before they took our order. Just not a great way to treat customers.

Crowded yet great service during Mo's seafood and chowder fest. Fabulous wines to taste by WVV and the seafood was outstanding. Can't wait to return soon.

Clif B.

We happened upon WVV for a Field & Vine event 10/13/18 if memory serves. The wines were fantastic esp the PORT (2o14 Quinta Reserva Pinot Noir Port Style) , although I felt the whites dominated the reds Also we loved our drunken climb to the look out. Cora did a fantastic job taking care of our flight(s), you should seek her out for sure. She was the most polite and thoughtful of all of those who helped us get where we needed to go ;)

Connie Tangen

Wonderful wine and gorgeous views!

Karson Elkins

Had a great burger and glass of Vino

Alex Demchak

Amazing service at an amazing venue. My family (not me, not a wine fan) has loved their wine for decades. I do enjoy their wine tastings though, and hope to bring my fianceé to one soon. If you're in the area, this is a place to stop by - you won't regret it.

Courtney Buys

Beautiful tasting room with good wines. Cora was exceptionally informative and attentative.

Sarah Larson

Amazing experience, start to finish. From calling to make reservations to the tour and afterwards on the patio we had an incredible time. Veronica was knowledgeable, super friendly and sweet and made our experience absolutely perfect. The views are stunning and the wines were delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, even if you aren’t really into wines.

Yuki Molinar

It’s a nice place, but nobody greets you or welcomes you when you walk in. If it’s your first time you really don’t know what to do until you really go after the employees and ask them. didn’t feel catered to. No one seem to care for you as a visitor.don’t recommend this place .

Peter Polesnak

Great customer service and great wine! After finding my favorite wine for the summer I ran into trouble with one bottle. They immediately sent a new one and were very pleasant and helpful!! Great vineyard!!

Katrina Navarrete

Beautiful location and views, reasonably priced and delicious flights, and a very nice grassy area for kids to play and to enjoy brought-from-home picnics

Stuart Anderson

Fun place with a nice menu for eats to go with your wine.

Lana Stephenson

We've been coming to WVV since 2011 and enjoy each visit. The estate is beautiful and over looks the valley providing gorgeous sunsets. There are several fireplaces, an expansive deck and romantic interior. The best pinots!

Sarah Pankau

Great atmosphere!!! Service is somewhat slow. Wine's pretty good

Brent Fillman

Beautiful views!!

Yesterday on Jun,24,19 my wife and I had a serious medical injury in your parking lot. The staff there came to our aid quickly, kindly, calmly and professionally. They called the medics, gave us care and tended to our needs and not once leaveing our side even thought they where on the clock. They treated us like family and we going back on less stressful afternoon and try your wine. Much thanks Alex the squrriel and Jo

Monica Foshaug

Amazing! McMinnville is such a great little town. Willamette Valley is definitely top rate.

Jennifer Handley

Great service and better wines! Lots of great pinot noir from around Oregon.

Chocolate and Wind tasting was AWESOME!

Great, polite staff. Beautiful scenery to see while enjoying some of Willamette Valley's best grapes.

Absolute Perfection. I have over 58,000 views on my reviews and photos but this one is the review I hope helps and gets the most views for one reason only.. THEY DESERVE IT! I can still taste the Rosé and totally REGRET not taking any home! It was so good we finished it there! Willamette Valley Vineyard is Absolutely BREATHTAKING. The wine is spectacular, the tasting room is gorgeous and the food is phenomenal. Can we discuss that VIEW.. This was an experience. I loved spending my birthday weekend here. All the way from Fresno, California. We will be going back. Try the Rosé. Willamette Valley Vineyard is worth traveling 16 hours for. Yes, thats how long it took me to get there and it was worth the awful summer heat and traffic. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Nancy Carroll

The views are outstanding and beautiful. The wine tasting and selection is wonderful. Some of the best wine I’ve ever had.

Victoria Sleman

The view is the only good thing about this place! They need better OLCC Training! We had a large group of family and they thought one person had too much wine ( the one that likes wine the least, but has a great personality) So instead of cutting that one person off they cut the whole group off. Also, all are other family or friends who were coming to meet us or even anyone who knew us, or would say hi to us would not be aloud to have any wine! Really? Me and my family are all going to cancel are membership. Too many other great wineries out there.

Such an amazing experience! We came during the Thanksgiving Weekend Open House and had such a great time. We were treated to nine wine tastings in the most welcoming environment. The owner, Jim, even popped in during our cellar tour tasting to check in and talk. Upstairs, Shannon gave us the most exceptional experience at the bar. The entire visit was wonderful, and we'll definitely be returning! Thank you, Willamette Valley Vineyards!

5-star scenery and location. Massive, modern and luxurious facility located on top of a hill with views fro miles with mountains in the distance. Worth the drive just for that. On the inside, one will find a charming and well stocked gift shop area with wine themed items for sale, including some other food items prepared with Willanette Valley Vinyards wine. You will also find a large fire pit in the middle of the room, and a lull kitchen that offers a menu suitable to anyone. They offer gluten-free and vegan options. The wine is quite exceptional. Staff are very friendly, even at the busiest of times. In the summer, the outdoor spaces are great to sit and watch the sun slip towards the horizon behind the mountains while enjoying a nice glass of wine.

Jim Walker

First a Class organization. Had such a good time.

Ten of us went for a tasting in August to celebrate my daughter's wedding. We had fun, learned lots and enjoyed the great wine. The port is out of this world! I have bought several bottles since.

I had to write this review to show some love to Willamette Valley Vineyards and Wende Bennette, our tour guide while we were there. We had such a phenomenal time that I feel like I need to return the favor. My wife and I traveled to Oregon to visit a school, and we also met my parents (who are from OK) there. We spent time in Portland and Salem, did a lot of the typical touristy stuff there, and our visit to Willamette Valley Vineyards was by far the best part of the trip. First, the scenery is gorgeous. We went in mid-May during the afternoon, and it was sunny and mild. There are green, rolling hills, and the vines lace the hillsides in neat rows. We spent a good amount of time before our tour just sitting on the patio admiring the view. The free tour was also great. It’s primarily about the wine-making process, and we really enjoyed it. Wende, our tour guide, was super fun and engaging, and the tour was very interesting and informative. It took around 30-45 minutes, I think, and there are also some good chances for photo opps if that’s your style. Of course, the best part of the whole day was the wine-tasting and then the food. Our wine-tasting was too awesome. If you’re a wine fan but nevertheless a wine amateur, like my family and I, then you’ll have a great time. They’ll tell you where to smell in the wine glass to pick up different notes; how to properly taste the wine. They’ll give you the low-down on how to pair wines with foods. They’ll pour you just about any wine you want, learn what you like, introduce you to other wines you might enjoy, and also make suggestions on what food items on the menu pair well with the wines you like. It didn’t hurt that the wine was fantastic. I also think it helped that Wende stayed with us during our tasting. Not sure if she usually does that, but she was a ton of fun to visit with, and she taught us so much on wine-tasting. I actually came home correctly identifying notes in my red wines without reading the bottle. Definitely a first for me. Our food was also great. My wife and I did the chicken curry and, at Wende’s suggestion, a pinot noir that I can’t remember the name of. They were delicious together. I was actually surprised that a winery in Oregon could do curry so well. I was prepared to be content with a mediocre curry; I guess I figured that French and Italian might be more their speed and not South Asian. But my wife wanted it, so I went with it. I was pleasantly surprised once I started digging in. We also did the cheese board, and that was also very good. If you’re a cheese fan, I would highly recommend it. All I can say is that I’m very glad my wife chose to come here when she planned our trip.

Willamette Valley Vineyards was on a gorgeous property with incredible views! The wines we had were fantastic - we ended up ordering 4 bottles. The best part of our experience there was Wende. She was the best hostess anyone could ask for. My husband planned a tasting and tour with her for my birthday and she went above and beyond. She was extremely knowledgable about the history of the winery and all of the wines we tasted. She told the story of Willamette Valley with such enthusiasm that I was entranced. Every piece of the experience was personalized. And she was so sweet! I will never forget it. I cannot express my gratitude to her and and I urge anyone out there to visit this amazing place!

Tabatha Nollen

Had an awesome time as a guest at wine, cheese, pear tasting

Heath Foott

We have continued to enjoy this winery ever time we visit. Although a rather larger vineyard, the people, location, and great wine make it small and personable very quickly. The food options and events add to the attraction of being part of this wonderful place, having brought a rather large group with us on multiple occasions, it has always been successful and fun. Lastly ,we like it so much we bought as owners.....a great feeling and fun.

crazy tom97304

I love this place you can have advance here and the view is so awesome of the Willamette Valley I can't get over it every time I'm out there love your guys's place

Brian Lewallen

Wonderful afternoon at the vineyard!

Trent

Great environment-friendly atmosphere.

Jann Reed-Templin

Our tour guide and host Jose was outstanding. He was very enthusiastic about the vineyard and the wine. We had an outstanding lunch. When placing our wine order, there were a couple we wanted to order but wanted to taste and he came through with those tasting. Thanks Jose for a wonderful experience. Will defiantly recommend Willamette Valley Vineyards for a place to go for lunch and wine.

Danielle Lasater

Wonderful wines and good view. Wish there were more food options and one less star for the tiny pours on the tasting. Enjoyed the live music. It was not too loud and did not interrupt our visiting with family. But was a fabulous addition to make it a beautiful afternoon.

Gale Hess

Legit. View close to on par with the Stoller Family Estate, and vin is as well

Robert Tine

Always a wonderful day

Gloria Vasquez

The best customer service

Katie Dowell

Smallest pour for a tasting I've ever seen. Wine is definitely not worth the price and our service was tereible. Definitely won't be coming back, there are so many better wineries in the area.

Emily O'Neal

We did a private tour and tasting with Dwight and I highly recommend it! He was really friendly and helpful and the tour was really beautiful and of course, great wine and food! A must for sure!

The Pairings Dinner is the best dining experience in Oregon!

The view was incredible, mostly because the little white house at the bottum of the hill and across the street. Idk what it was but the two teenage boys really made the trip worth it!

Nice place

Sally Borg

Consistently professional and gracious service! -Great food, the portions are large enough to share and good enough that you won’t want to. -Beautiful view, you would never know how close to I-5 it is. Quiet as well! - Lovely selection of wines, great for a group. We had an interesting mix of discerning wine lovers and newbies when we went. Everyone found someone something that they loved.

JL R

Was there for a visit and enjoyed very much! Will have to see and tour the next time my wife and I are here again.

Kip Poindexter

We visited yesterday with a group of 8 for a VIP tour and had a fantastic time. The ambassador who showed us around, Jose, was knowledgeable, friendly and took extra time with us to make sure our Polish-speaking friends had time for translation and to ask questions. Please pass our thanks along to Jose! We all had a great experience and will definitely recommend a visit to WVV to friends!

Janice Cook

With so many other great places to visit in the Valley, skip this place. The view is gorgeous, but the service and tasting here lacks the hospitality of many other wineries in the area. We visited early in the day on a slow Monday. There were amble staff, but upon arrival we were completely ignored by the multiple staff members behind the bar. There was no hostess at the hostess station and no signage about self seating. We waited for a few minutes while multiple staff members diverted their eyes from us so as to not have to offer directions. This was not the treatment we received at other tasting rooms that welcomed us and gave us some instruction on choosing a seat or a tasting, etc. I finally got someone’s attention who almost reluctantly gave me instructions about their service being from the bar. We ordered 2 tastings. With each pour the bartender offered no description of the wine or addition info about the vineyards. We have visited innumerable wineries around the world and never been to a place where the employees lack any sort of hospitality or pride in their establishment. That is all part of the experience of an on-site tasting like this and was disappointing.

JOHN BASTIN

Enjoyed the day with a great tour conducted by Ryan. Great wine and great people.

Raymond McAneny

A great selection of wine of course but there are some in the "library" that never leave the vineyard and are truly fantastic. Very reasonable prices for a flight with good food to accompany the wine and a fantastic view. The smell of all that oak and wine in the cellar is really memorable as well.

Enrique Langton B.

Wonderful place, good wines, amazing View!

Chris Foss

Good views, good wine and a great tasting room what more can you ask for

Patricia Estabrook

My first ever winery tasting and it was fun. A small group of us came to celebrate a friend getting married and one happened to be in the wine club so this winery with free guest tastings so choosing Willamette was an easy choice. When I was having trouble choosing a flight because I prefer white wine the woman helping us decided to customize a flight for me which I thought was very sweet. The view was gorgeous and the atmosphere relaxing. I'm seriously considering becoming a wine club member myself so I have an excuse to come back several times a year.

Jeff Bradshaw

Nice winery, the reason for not being a 5 star is the service could be much better. Employees were not as friendly as they should be.

Danny Callahan

Our favorite vineyard..

Erin Craven

Everyone who works here seems to be an awesome, happy person, who loves this vineyard. Victoria, Blair and Emi were fantastic stewards of their craft. Views alone are worth the trip.

Stacie Cunningham

Always wonderful. Great food, and wine., I do have a question, my husband does not like wine, but I am going to a work function at WWV, And I can have + 1 . Do you serve anything else besides wine? Maybe beer or soda?.

Cedric Nash

What a unbelievable experience ! First off I want to give a big thank you to the founder of this great vineyard Mr.Jim Bernau. I want to thank him for his wonderful attitude and making me feel so welcomed the last time I was here! Now on to the ultimate experience ! I arranged a private tour with the best wine ambassador in this industry Miss Jennifer Bell. This experience was 10 stars ! The knowledge and the taste of these great wines will leave you in heaven. You can eat here at this great vineyard . I had the chicken and pasta. It was so good! This is my top choice for any wine tour that I am on. If you want top quality wine, excellent customer service , and most of being treated like family come here ASAP! I highly recommend !

Alice Bush

Great place to come wine tasting and the wine is fantastic!

Kayla Brookshire

Amended review: Although we have previously had wonderful experiences at WVV, our eclipse viewing experience there was not up to the standards we've come to expect from WVV. Loud, disruptive staff made our experience unenjoyable and far less than satisfactory. We were informed that staff training will be handled differently for future events, and I hope that no one else has such a horrible experience at a special event with WVV in the future.

Brittany Reinard

Always a wonderful experience! Julie and Tish were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our time there extra special. Everything was perfect:)

Cheri Bertelsen

Beautiful views, great wine, worth the visit!

Natasa Cobar

This is the most AMAZING wine tasting that I ever had! HANDS DOWN!!! Everyone working there are super nice and professional. I just can't wait to go back! THANK YOU!

Roland Meijer

Mycket trevlig personal och många goda viner!

Emily Ferguson

This is my new favorite winery! I have always loved their wines, and have ordered them at restaurants and bought them at Safeway, but actually seeing their location in Turner for the first time was incredible. The views are breathtaking, indoor tasting room was classy but not pretentious, and the outdoor seating was perfect. The gal who helped us with our tasting was Samantha, and she is probably the friendliest and most sincere person we had ever met! She went through each wine with us, and if we had questions, she not only answered them thoroughly, but added her own personal experience to her responses. Samantha made our visit one we will always remember! Definitely planning another trip here soon. Also, there is a "pinot deck" that's a bit more secluded than the main outdoor seating area, which we enjoyed. Our favorite wines are the Tualatin Estate semi-sparkling muscat, 2016 Pinot Blanc, the Whole Cluster Pinot Noir, and the 2017 Reisling. They have soooo many to choose from but these are our favorites.

Brandon Dawson

Beautiful architecture, excellent food, plenty to see and explore. Oh, and they sell wine too.

Chas Thomas

Jim, Veronica & Matt went (WELL) above and beyond to make my first visit to Willamette Valley Vineyards exceptional. WOW! I've already told a handful of people about my positive experience and I cannot wait to go back! I throughly enjoyed their wines and I want to look into staying at the property; they have two suites! HIGHLY recommend.

Don Ziesmer

Beautiful facilities with fantastic views and large selection of wines from vineyards around the Northwest. Great place to take visitors

Curtis Partridge

My wife and I had spent time with our daughter, who attends Oregon State in Corvallis, the week before Mother's day. On our return to Portland we decided, as stockholders of the vineyard, to stop and see what our investment looked like in person. We had our small dog with us, so we bought a couple a glasses of wine and charcuterie and went to a small shaded grassy area near their wine barn. What a beautiful view for a picnic away from the busy but very nice tasting room and restaurant. They have outdoor seating and service should you want to enjoy the view, service animals only inside. The sommelier was very helpful recommending some wines for our charcuterie, along with allowing us to sample a couple of alternatives before deciding. Prices are reasonable for both the wine and food, and as a bonus for owners, we received a discount when we purchased a couple of bottles to take home. Weekends are predictably busy, especially when the weather is nice, but not crazy. Parking is a little tight, especially for RVs or larger vehicles. Unlike the Dundee and McMinnville areas, there isn't a lot of vineyards in close proximity so if you want to visit other vineyards in the area, you'll need to travel a little farther. A big plus for us is Willamette Valley Vineyards is just off I-5, easy to get to, and surprisingly peaceful and quiet when sitting outside once you get there. Bottomline, if you're wanting to visit a vineyard which offers a great view, fantastic wines, knowledgeable people and delicious food without driving miles through the country to get there, then Willamette Valley Vineyards is a great destination to visit, relax and enjoy. traveling through Oregon, experienced the Pinot gris as my dinner wine.Loved it so much, am now looking into where I can purchase it in Northern California.

The wine here is amazing and the views match it. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience.

This is such a beautiful winery. Gorgeous scenery outside and cozy, upscale interiors. On our most recent visit, mom, the hub and I did a tasting - keep in mind that they will waive the tasting fee if (a) you're a shareholder or a wine club member or (b) you purchase two bottles of wine per person. I'm glad to see that they now have a standing menu and food on a regular basis. Mom, the hub and I shared a charcuterie plate and the hub had the steelhead with white beans and kale. The charcuterie plate had a good selection of items and the steelhead looked fabulous (although I didn't try it). Wine was cold and refreshing; we were given the coolers to take outside with our bottles to keep the wine cold. We definitely always try to find time for a visit when we're in the area.

What an AMAZING experience! Words are not enough to describe the true professionals working here. Everybody is so attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely nice. Me and My Wife had tested two different options of great wines and we choose to pair it with a combo platter of charcuterie and cheese. It was beyond belief! The mixed special olives and the pickled grapes (made in house) really gave us the WOW factor! I could not wait for the next opportunity to visit. THANK YOU all so much!

Beautiful winery inside and out with outstanding views. Our wine tasting was wonderful and we decided to stay settled in to enjoy the sunny afternoon with a great bottle of wine and lunch. The lady at the table next to us was telling her friend that WVV has the best burger she's ever had, she kept talking it up to her friend so we decided to split a burger and split a salad. She was spot on regarding the burger and the salad was fresh and flavorful. Overall, another wonderful visit to Willamette Valley Vineyard.

Great Willamette Valley Pinot, friendly staff, and a great place for lunch with excellent menu choices.

My husband and I have been members of several different wineries throughout the years. We try and change it up a bit but there is one winery we will not change up and that's Willamette Valley Vineyards. I love that the tasting room is so comfortable and spacious and it is also nice that they serve well prepared food. The view is one of the best you will see in the valley. The most important feature is their wines, from their whites to their reds you can't go wrong, amazing and affordable. The next most important part for me and my husband is their hospitality. We always feel welcomed and attended to. Their special events are always fun to look forward to and enjoy. To all those who pour the wine, thanks for your friendly personalities and keeping us educated on all the old and new releases. Anytime we have family or guests in town we make the time to visit Willamette Valley Vineyards. Enjoy and be prepared to join when you go there. Tell them Cheryl and Joe sent you.

We called to set up a tour of Willamette Valley Vineyards for August 3, 2016. First of all...WOW! The renovation they completed is upset ale but comfortable. Beautiful location, sitting on the deck overlooking the vineyards is a fantastic way to spend a day! Our Wine Ambassador, Wende Bennette, was full of spunk, information and created quite the experience for us. She catered the tasting to our likes and preferences, made thoughtful suggestions, shared stories and really got to know us. We felt like VIPs! Getting to see the wine production, facilities, and learn some of the history made for a fantastic afternoon, followed by delicious appetizers with a bottle of wine. We will definitely be back, as we became wine club members, and highly recommend spending time here!

We visited the Willamette Valley Vineyards yesterday and did the wine tasting tour with our guide Blair. Upon arrival we were greeted in the welcoming main reception area and promptly taken on the tour. The fist thing to say is that Blair was very experienced, knowledgable and passionate about wine making. The second thing to say is that the wine is delicious! All of our questions were answered and we got a real feel for the business and the history of the place. I enjoyed discussing with Blair the differences in the different wines we tasted and hearing stories about working at the vineyard. I brew beer myself I loved hearing stories how wine is made on a large scale. My wife and I were throughly satisfied customers. Highly recommend.

Went for a tour, tasting and lunch today... What an amazing experience! Julie was friendly and knowledgeable, the grounds were beautiful and everything was delicious. Loved the stellar views and history of the vineyard. We will definitely return. ❤

My wife and I go out to the tasting room about every six weeks. We are treated like royalty each time. The Willamette Valley is not Napa but it will be in a few years. Everything is a bargain now for the consumer who loves well made wines. The food choices are very good. This is not a fast food restaurant.

Beautiful winery and great tasting wines! We’ll be back.

We were visiting from Michigan and couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience. Not only was the winery beautiful and the views breathtaking, Samantha W. was so informative, attentive and genuinely caring - she even followed us out to the veranda to give my daughters complimentary trouffles. What an outstanding ambassador for the company. The wine was amazing and their signature burger was beyond delicious. Would give six stars if we could. We’ll be back!

The wine, yes it's grand and the food is excellent, but man-oh-man, Oregon you are the most beautiful state; and your residents know how to show you off. Decks over-looking the Cascades and it's like you can see forever --all the way to the Pacific, or at least it feels that way. My advice... go visit the place, buy a glass and hopefully the sun is out so you can drink it on the deck and breathe deeply.

Great views, awesome drive up! Really disappointed in the pricing and quality of the Bernard Griffin line (their fuller bodied reds). Also, the spiel at the start was a bit heavy handed and sort of seemed to assume customers had never been wine tasting and/or couldn't figure out the program without direction - really silly and corporate. Come here to taste some pinots and enjoy the views. Next time I'll order some food from their full kitchen, but was on way to a wedding... Cheers!

The tour provided for our group, was excellent!

We had a group of 6 for a tour with Veronica Ball, and she is INCREDIBLE! We all had such a great time and she definitely made the experience so exciting. The tour is a must. You see so much more of the winery than I’ve experience with past tours at other wineries And the wine is delightful!

luc s

It's an amazing place, with good food n great tasting chardonnay wine.

Josh Brown

Been here many times, but you really can’t beat it...it’s just a beautiful place. Doesn’t matter if you come for the wine, the food or the view you won’t be disappointed. PS—if you take a tour ask for Wende. She’s the best.

Veronica was our hostess and tour guide. we are from florida and wanted to do a vineyard tour and tasting while on vac. we dropped in and initially were told private tours require 48 hours notice. we were crunched for time so we were going to check another vineyard until the gal behind the bar held us up and was able to arrange an on the spot private tour and tasting! This is such a beautiful place! the vineyards, the property, the patio -- everything is so perfect and so beautiful! Veronica is so personable, fun and very knowledgeable about the vineyard, the wines, the grapes, the aging -- the entire process! She knows the history, has great knowledge regarding other countries and their processes compared to US vineyards, soils and wine making. after our tour, we sat on the patio and took in the beautiful views of the vineyards and land! had 5 different wines and cheeses with crackers. We purchased 3 of the 4 we tasted and up'd the cab -- I have always been a cab fan! I even acquired a new taste for a pinot gris! I have never cared for whites - but now am a fan of their Pinot Gris! Even my husband, who doesn't drink wine unless it tastes sweet (like fruit juice) acquired a taste for the Pinot Gris! If I didn't live 3k miles away I would become a member! Thanks to all at Willamette Valley and special thanks to Veronica!

Martha Specht

Great view and excellent wines.

We did a tour and I really wanted to recognize Jake, our tour guide. He is a huge asset to your organization. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He made our group feel at home. Thank you Jake

It definitely says something about the character of an establishment when they can take a displeased customer and turn them around into a believer. My previous review of Willamette Valley Vineyards was in bad taste and quite "snarky." I didn't make it easy for them to be classy in the face of my bad attitude but somehow they managed to impress not just myself, but the friends I brought along with me for a tour and tasting. Thank you to Christine, Mary, and Veronica for each displaying grace with a positive attitude. It is something that I will remember. As far as the vineyard itself goes, the grounds are beautiful, the wine is fantastic and the ambassadors are very knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend WVV to my friends and family.

Dave Johnson

Wow..best kept secret in the valley

Carole and Don Averill

Ryan was the gracious and informative host. Wines were wonderful and the setting exquisite. Truly a lovely experience.

We went to Willamette Valley Vineyards Eclipse view party. It was an absolutely pleasant experience. They incredibly well prepared and organised. One can tell very easily this is not the first time they organize an event of that size. They informed us well in advance all needed information and they were ready for all unforeseen circumstances (including people arriving really late to beat the anticipated traffic jams). And during the day they ensured all updates are communicated clearly. The place The venue was beautiful and the place have really positive vibes. The post party wine tasting and live music was(obviously) of really good quality. I would definitely recommend them for corporate and personal events.

Wes Collins

Absolutely the Best experience possible! Julia our Hospitality Coordinator was Amazing! We had 200 Attendees of the Used Parts Networks that came to Sweet Home from all over the US, Canada, and Australia. We gave Julia our budget and She did not disappoint. Thanks again from Radiator Supply House

Always a nice place to have some wine and food. During the week . Weekends are busy

Eileen Padilla

Fantastic! Views are fabulous, service is excellent, wine and food scrumptious! Tried the 2016 Semi-Sparkling Muscat Frizzante and the 2016 Estate Chardonnay...both excellent and on my list of must buy and share!

Emily Knoll

Beautiful views of the valley and pine trees galore. Service was pretty good at the bar even though it was crowded. The pours for each flight were quite small however, at about 2 sips per sample. Otherwise the selection was good, my friend got her flight modified to please her personal palate. Overall would return.

Kiel Eby

I have been a wine club member for the last few years and normally go to the Tualatin estate location. My wife and I went to the Valentine chocolate and wine pairing over the weekend and it was extremely disappointing. One of the bartenders in the members room told my wife that the only wines that were being tasted were the ones on the menu card when I could see there were other wines opened. When I asked about it he said "he might be able to find something" I taste the wines to buy them and everything that was on the flight that day was B team for sure. It's unfortunate when a vineyard becomes more of a bar scene rather than a enjoyable time with a loved one. I will not be back to this location ever again.

Matthew Noyes

Good stop of place when travelling on I-5. There is a nice view from the tasting room plus large deck.

Bri Belle

View is good. Some of the wines are good. Focus appears to be on charging for wine tasting. For a $10 charge for their upper end flight, I barely received an ounce of wine total for 4 tastes. What happened to the days when the wineries made their profit from selling their wines?
