REVIEWS OF SakéOne IN Oregon

We tried the domestic tasting flight and it was great, really reminded us of sake we tried in Japan. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The flight was under $10 and it was waived with our purchase. We bought 3 local bottles, $15-$20 per bottle. Imported sake is also available for tastings and purchase. Great stop if you're passing through the area.

Janice Wenrich

Great selection of Japanese and American made sake. We've been club members a long time and you cant beat the selection! Outdoor patio and a number of informative free tours daily. If you like sake visiting is a must!

Anthony Wilson

Great selection of hand crafted and imported sake. Well worth stopping and sampling something different. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

Brett Gottfried

The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable! They had a decent selection of sakes and the prices werent bad, especially if you do the flights. The tasting room is just a bit small.

I had the pleasure to get a tour of the SakéOne facilities. Brian the VP of Sales and Marketing led our tour and gave an excellent tour. We were also joined by Jim and they gave us the history of the operation and told us in detail about each part of the process. There was sake tasting to start out the tour and there were a few other opportunities to try the sake. Their fermentation tanks were impressive and showed how involved the process of making sake is.

Brian Powers

Wide variety of styles and flavors with lots of options to buy, even for those not living nearby. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended if you like sake or if you're simply looking to learn more about it.

Well worth the drive to Forest Grove. Excellent domestic and imports. Friendly staff. Joined the club while I was there. Next visit I hope to have the opportunity to do the tour.

Great winery tour. Enjoyed the sake tasting. They also have food and wine tasting. Best selection of sake this side of Japan. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We live in Hawaii, but for those lucky enough to live in Oregon do the tour and enjoy the great sake. Don't forget to take some home. Took several bottles in our suitcases. Check sake one's website for seasonal events. Fun Halloween event coming up this month. Check it out. Luv Sake One!!!

Didn't realize how versatile Sake was until coming here. Did a flight of the sweet Sake and really enjoyed all of them. My favorite would be the Nama that was on tap which was the purest Sake I've ever had. I now wish my favorite bars would have Sake on tap. The woman guiding us brought a ton of personable knowledge and a strong pour to the table making this a must for any fan of Sake or alcohol. It definitely is a nice break from wine tasting. Of note is the fact that you have to call ahead if you want to do the tour. The flyer we got at the airport didn't state this. In the end we were always coming for the tasting anyway and on that front we were successful.

Andrew Herdrich

Great quality sake, made both in-house and imported from partner breweries in Japan. The tasting options are great, the tour is interesting, and the club is very much worth considering if you are a sake fan.

Clay McClure

We liked this place a lot. The sake was excellent, varied, and inexpensive compared to what I'm used to. Becky was awesome and did our tasting and then took us on a brewery tour and answered my fifteen-thousand questions. The tour was also not too long (20-25 minutes) which I liked because sometimes tours like that are too long for me.

Spencer Dale

The tour is super interesting!

Melody Jacinto

Great selection of sakes and an interesting tour of the sake brewery. Some nice unfiltered sakes that one doesn't see very often.

Andrew Wildwood

love the sake! a great brewery that helps you experience the sake process. the tasting room offers a chance to try just about everything they offer. fun though no food available.

Sake never tasted so good. A whirlwind of flavors. From strong traditional flavors to lighter sake fare developed for lighter American palates. Taste sampling associates drop by with their locally-distilled sake, dishing up a story for each sip. SakeOne tasting ends with untraditional fruit-infused coconut lemongrass, by request. How was it? You'll just have to go to SakeOne and taste it for yourself.

Sidney Bruckert-Frisk

Very informative and interesting! Really good sake!!

Kathleen Anson

It didn't blow me away, but I do appreciate that they are making authentic sake locally. They also make quite a number of flavored sakes that are suprisingly good, and I imagine would make some interesting cocktails. The service left a bit to be desired though, and I wish the tasting room had a bit more atmosphere and less gift shop feel to it. Might be more fun to go for an event.

Nice little place to visit and to bring friends. Variety of Sake and special limited edition sake available for members. The people who work there are very nice and sociable, especially when it is not very busy. They also have special events as well. I have not been on the tour yet but I am looking forward to it. I think it is a great place to try out, especially if you like sake. My husband and I go there often.

I really like sake, and they had some pretty good ones, but overall I didn't love it. I did think it was cool that they had a tasting menu paired with food bites, but I'm not sure if that was something special, or something they do all the time. The property isn't very attractive, either.
