Finest Pinot & wonderful people.

The tasting room is by appointment only. When we were there, several dogs were in the tasting room -- and they were wet from running around outside. Thus, the aromatics of wet dog did nothing for the wine tasting. When you are paying this much for a tasting and even more for the wine itself, you should not have to contend with undesirable odours.

Visited this winery today and had a private tasting by appointment. The Pinot Noir wines here are absolutely terrific. The service was outstanding the location is beautiful highly recommended.

What a fun tasting room!! As previously stated the tasting room is by appointment only, but PG has recently hired two awesome people to keep up with the constant demand for tastings. I had the pleasure of tasting at PG yesterday, and it was a gorgeous September in Oregon day. The winery really reminds me of what tasting in Napa used to be like before it was so commercialized. Yes, they have wine dogs, which is AWESOME; more Oregon wineries need to have wine dogs!! The wine was very good, and I ended up leaving with quite a bit. The people were very nice and down to earth folks. If would want a snobby tasting with a dose of judgement try someplace else, there are plenty in the area. I can't wait to go back to PG!!

A great tasting experience worth the reservation.

One of the only producers of Sauv Blanc in the Willamette, and they do a pretty good job at it for a good value, as well as some decent pinots, though at a fairly steep price. The crowd can be annoying, but the staff are nice. Tastings are in the big metal barn, but they put out a nice spread of cheeses, and offer a lot of different samples. I believe they are only open by appointment (I've always been on special event days).

Greg Grater

One the best pinots.

Ian Mattey

Really great Pinot Noirs. Balance, depth, nose! Make sure to book a tasting appointment.

We bought a bottle of PGC Pinot from Randall's Wine. Opened it tonight and had to pour it out. Unlike any wine I have ever tasted. No resemblance to a Pinot Noir in my estimation. Maybe there is something wrong with this particular bottle but I won't buy it again.
