Great service Michelle but very disappointing that Sunday pasta wasn’t available because it’s Mother’s Day and Old Mill might lose money ..... and the fact that normal weekend specials weren’t available that were much better than the specials today. Would have gone somewhere else but had already ordered our sangria. Next year I will have my kids do their research for Mother’s Day specials not regular priced or overpriced dinners.

On arrival waited 45-1hr to be seated. After being seated, waited 15 min to order and about 45 min after order before food was served. Food was mediocre and servings small for the pricing. Staff was polite and that is why they get 2 stars. Also, when ordering baked potato, there is a 89 cent charge for sour cream, rediculous. Asked for bread for mussels and 99 cent charge. Also rediculous. Wine was not good at a whopping 6$ a glass. I wish I could write something here that would be positive. Oh wait !! The live music was good. I would recommend the pasta and meatball dish at about 4$, came with 2 pieces of bread and a nice serving. Go figure. Would not recommend to friends.

We went to Old Mill Winery, Saturday the 28th for dinner and to see the band Lost Sheep. We did not have reservations but were able to get a table even though they were very crowded. Our server, Jennifer, was very punctional and attentive to our needs, food was brought out hot as expected and she continually checked on us to see if there was anything else we would need, her service was outstanding and on our next visit if available we will ask for her. The overall night with the band Lost Sheep, the food, and the service was so much fun we look forward to going back again. Even with the crowd and everyone having fun with the band people were respectful and responsible with consideration of everyone around them.

The food was great. We had the Mango salad with shrimp (didn't get many shrimp), chicken alfredo, and salmon. Everyone enjoyed their food and we had a great waitress. The problem arose with the wait; we waited over a half hour but were told 25 minutes. We stood and watched 7 empty tables never be seated. We heard rumors the kitchen was backed up to an hour. (We did not wait that long for our food) We never noticed anyone come in and be immediately seated, ie. no reservation. They had placed signs on the empty tables stating it was reserved. Then took them away and seated people who had been waiting like we did. We will be back next time we are in town, but will call first!!

Poor service and a run down venue. Upon arrival my wife and I enter and have to walk to the bar to try to get seats. The first interaction with staff went like this: Batender:Hey Me: Hello After a long awkward pause....... Bartender: Two of ya? Give me a second. He comes back takes us past empty tables to seat us right by the bathroom. Gross. Took forever to order. Zucchini fries were soggy and no seasoning. We ordered Beyond burgers which are premade vegan patties but still took about 45 minutes to receive them and where given what seemed to be lays potato chips as a side. Waitresses sat at a table near us chatting the whole time and never got a refill on water. Had to stare at them for 5 minutes for them to get the hint that I needed my check. Didn't get to try the wine since I didn't see the waitress until she brought our food. Hopefully it's decent and can keep them afloat.

Really great food and terrific service from Corey. Was a bit challenging since we had 11 adults & 2 kids. We were right by the door so everytime it opened, we were blasted with cold air. Thus, not the best spot for our group. Great value for the price. Meatballs were huge and my husband ordered 3 which was perfect for him. Will come back for sure.

Second time here. Food is great and wine is Amazing. Make sure you try Grindstone White. Simply amazing. That said, it took over an hour from sitdown till good arrived. That cost them a star. Worse thing wasn't busy. Otherwise it's awesome.

Decent place. Decorations a bit dated. We wanted to sit outside because the music was loud inside, although it was good. We ended up moving inside due to rain. The wait staff were very nice and professional and had no problems with our table of 9. The divided us between 2 waitresses. Food was pretty good. The burger had an odd flavor, and the waffle fries left a lot to be desired, but the chicken and waffle sandwich, ranch pizza, and blt wrap were all good.

We were at The Old Mill WInery Fri evening 06/24. Food was good, beverages were great. Band was overly loud, they didn't play "winery" music (unless heavy metal is winery venue music now?) We had been seated inside and couldn't take the volume, got moved outside & left shortly after. Not the best evening out for us :(

I couldn't decide between 4 or 5 stars so I went with 5 simply because of the staff. The wine gets a 4, food (spag & meatballs) gets a 4, staff gets a solid 5. We had dinner on Tuesday 3/26/19. When we sat down there were only two other tables sat. Within 10 minutes the place was literally full, I have never seen anything like it! The flood gates opened! There was only one waitress who was obviously overwhelmed, but the entire staff did a wonderful job all things considered. The physical area staff has to work with does not seem very efficient but they seem to make it work. No complaints at all, just seems the staff have to work extra hard. Nonetheless, they handled an unexpected rush quite well!

Upon entering, it was unclear where to go so we ended up doing a complete circuit of the dining room. Got sat near the door, and every time it was opened, there was a very cold draft. I was freezing and very uncomfortable. Ordered zucchini fries as an appetizer. Took well over a half hour to receive and they were only okay. Kind of soggy and underdone. Our meals were okay. I felt that for the price, the portions should have been double what they were. The rusty farm equipment above our heads held up by old cobwebbed twine was a nice touch, as were the water stains running down the walls. Not a horrible experience, but so much room for improvement.

Good as a sangria as well......Our grandsons feel right at home as well, very kid friendly...There is lots of outdoor seating on nice days and the food never disappoints. All the servers are friendly and informative. Try the Old Mill dip for your appetizer...

Things have changed over the years. I remember Bill Keener playing guitar next to the fireplace singing "McDonalds Is Your Kind of Place" while sipping Geneva White or Pink Catawba. It has turned more into a bar than a winery now, but still has that nice appeal.

We had such a lovely Sunday evening. We sat outside and enjoyed the live music from inside. The ribs and crab cakes were delish. We enjoyed our wine and ended up buying a bottle. Our server could have been a little more attentive but the service was still with in acceptable and she was very sweet. We would definitely go back.

Not the best service. We were a party of three that went about 5 on a weeknight. We came in and were ignored for 3 to 4 minutes. Several employees saw us. We then did get menus and ordered. It took 30 minutes for two sandwiches and chicken breast.

First of all let me say I really like their food and wine. However, that being said they nickel and dime you to death. 1.50 for sour cream on a baked potato and tartar sauce for the fish is ridiculous!! I got the whole rack of ribs which didn't have enough sauce and again extra for sauce. I asked how much extra for the napkin and to go container and the waitress laughed. We substituted the corn for a side salad and I understood the .99 for that but come by on already. This was always my favorite place when we visited GOTL but I'm crossing it off my list as of today because of all the extra charges.

Right off the bat the hostess was rude when I simply asked if we seat ourselves, since we had been walking around looking for someone to seat us. After a 45 minutes we finally got our food and my steak was purple and way overcooked. The waitress was nice at first then started getting an attitude when we had to ask for refills. Paint chipping and missing all over the place. There is also no A/C and no airflow outside. Gnats were all over our food as well, we had to ask for the check so we could leave. Will not return.

There is no air conditioning. It's an open air with fans atmosphere. Tropical salad was good. The shrimp skewer was flavored with garlic which I didn't care for and the shrimp were small. Breaded tilapia was dry & flavorless. Grilled chicken was done very nicely, but the BBQ sauce was laced with liquid smoke. One in our party ordered baked potato & got wedges gat were dry, unsalted & had a small sprinkle of an odd seasoning on them. If you like Strawberry Scooter Crunch, you'll love the strawberry dream cake....I dont.. The wines (Chardonnay, blush, & a sweet white/sweet red) were not good, very disappointing. Cute place With an interesting history, but being labeled a winery is a real let down.

Great venue...band on Sat nights, great choices on menu, made right! Service was top notch, and plenty of seating in and outside. Only downer...it was hot climate the day we chose to dine in...and did not sit under a ceiling fan...ended up going to sit out on the deck...enjoyed the breeze. Would recommend to anyone who likes wineries! Great place overall!

I would give zero stars if I could. I walked up to bar, rudely asked what I was there for. I was there for a table reservation. I was told it was a 45 min wait and to stand outside under the canopy. I then asked if we could sit outside I was told possibly, with attitude.. seriously? I am here’s for my anniversary, not for this attitude. I was asked if I would like a drink while we wait, I said sure. However I didn’t know what we wanted it was our first time there, looking to try some wines. So we up and left! Had a fabulous diner, wine and live entertainment at ferrante!!!! Would not recommend old mill winery!! Service was a turnoff!!!

I know we had a big party and had to shuffle a bit outside but the first server was awefully short with us and then she went to get a manager who was just as rude. Then the second server told me they had a full bar and couldn't fill any of my first 4 drink requests. Will not return any time soon.

This winery is basically a full service restaurant. Good local flavored wines, rustic laid back atmosphere and entertainment. Really good food, can't go wrong with the Wine burger. Recommend making a reservation since they take them.

I don't believe that the cook knows how to cook anything other than fryer foods maybe not tho . Zucchini Fry's took 30 minutes or better . Very soggy an not to much taste had to drown them in ranch . An as for the meal I ordered a medium rare burger an it came out raw ! Yes still very raw meat . An mind you that's not good you could make someone very sick . My date ordered the Cincinnati chilli that was pretty decent but how can you message up chilli a spaghetti noodles . Ok now back to my burger it took what seemed to be years before anyone came back around to see if the meal was ok an or alright . I had to ask another person that was tending to the table next to me if this issue could be addressed . It took them another 15 to 20 minutes to get me something back to the table . My date had already finished her plate an now had to still sit there while I ate my meal . Needless to say burger was cooked Well to temp not med rare I ate it I was hungry by this time . They did comp my meal of half price for the burger witch was semi the right thing to do . If I was a manager I would have made a customer pay for that meal . How do you make a customer pay for a plate of raw ground beef on a bun . Yes it was corrected but still come on if you can use a meat thermometer to tell when meat is done to temp you shouldn't feed people . It's not hard to do I promise you this . Would love to have a better chance at a better meal an experience there do to I do live right here in town an would love to permote the business to others an bring others to the area for good food . Maybe I will give it another try some day .as of right now I have to say it will be a moment before I come back to spend my money on a experience like that . Sorry for the bad review but that's not how you feed people food .you send out a plate that you would eat an that you would want to pay for . People don't like poor quality plates .

Love this place, but it's so far from home we can only go occasionally. Great food, great service, live music and delicious wines. They always have wonderful vegetarian options, too. It's worth the drive.
