Great help from Rich buying wine gifts for clients in Stamford. Good prices on both wine and spirits. They even had the red and white wines from the royal wedding - Domain Eden Pinot Noir and Les Setilles White Burgundy.

First off, I was in a huge line for almost 20-30 minutes. There was only 2 registers open and they were both slow, either the workers or customers, I couldn't tell. It was so bad, I remember seeing some manager or supervisor come in from God know's where and start looking for employees. Yikes. Second they didn't have the wine I was looking for, saying they don't carry it. I used to live in Norwalk and now here in Stamford and I'm not driving half and hour to Total Wine where they had a larger selection. So I took something else, but it was more expensive than other stores I'm familiar with. The store was small and felt like a ma & pa shop. Cozy in some areas but others were just a cluster. I do like how they organize by regions and nations and not just combine everything by grape. Only wish it was easier to find something specific. Other than that, the store smelled like food from next door and the floor was kinda sticky and covered in leaves or what-have-you. Only been here twice and one time for wine and the other for an IPA. The beer section was a mess and I couldn't find anything, the employee there was kinda lost, too. I guess this is my now local liquor spot so I have to get used to it. Wish it was better. Kinda miss Total Wine...

Large selection of all kinds of wine, beer and spirits. Also managed to grab a nice wine tasting while I was in. Good way to get all of your shopping done in one place as CT law requires the separate package stores.

Avery annoying store. Today there were NO grocery carts or baskets anywhere to be found (I didn't hunt around the parking lot). I complained to Customer Service who responded with a blank stare of indifference. While they have a decent selection, lousy management has always been their big handicap.

Absolutely love being able to get everything I need in one place. But, please, can you post an online map???? I get lost (and distracted--the olive oil collection is not unlike going to a wine tasting--they have dishes of various olive oils out with bread--how did I find myself back to the shopping list???)
