Beautiful location! Unfortunately it was storming so I did not get the full views but it was calming and relaxing. Justin was my sommelier and was amazing. I was by myself and he did not try and rush me and we had a great chat while I was trying the wines. It was an overall wonderful experience. We always love visiting here, they have some of the best NC dry wines. The views and property are picturesque. No full meals are available but they offer charcuterie and other snacks. Okay to bring kids too for rolling down the grassy hill.

This was our first time to visit this NC Vinyard but absolutely fell in love with this place. Wine lovers of bold REDS have a tough time finding really good wines compared to others like CA. and Italian reds BUT this place is as good as many of the great wines imported from anyplace in the world. Most people look for opportunities to buy products in our state and the USA and this is a place wine lovers of very good red wine should give a try. We will surely be back soon. Thanks

This is simply one of the most stunning views I have seen as a NC resident. It's a great date place with a stunning view of the Yadkin Valley. The wine tasting @$7 per person is a fair value. Grab a bottle of wine, sit on the patio and enjoy the view.

In our opinion, Raffaldini has the best wines in North Carolina. We have toured Napa and Sonoma numerous times, and the Montepulciano and IL Falco compete with most premium Italian varietals that we have tasted in CA. The Auguri is is a very nice bottle fermented medium dry sparkling white wine. It is great in a mimosa, but why ruin a good wine with fruit juice? We prefer to drink it unadulterated. As far as the winery, the view is beautiful and we have experienced excellent, friendly service. Raffaldini is usually busy for a reason. As when in Italy, don't go if you are in a rush. Go to enjoy the experience, even if it takes some time.

Raffaldini seems to be among the best known and most esteemed of NC wineries; it has even gotten mentioned in a prominent Italian wine writer's recent book. Their Montepulciano Riserva is, indeed, a good wine. And it is a lovely place to visit, with a nice tasting room and a fine view. However, I would not make a separate trip here unless you live close; I would make it part of a winery tour as there are several in the area, and more not far away. I have done a tasting there and, aside from the Riserva, their wines are not very impressive. Their whites are not good at all; they make a Vermentino, for instance, which is somewhat interesting on the nose but which I found to be a zero on the palate. (For a better East Coast Vermentino, try the one from Barboursville Vineyards in Virginia.) Their Bella Misto is a typical East Coast boutique winery red: a lot of fruit and spice, lacking refinement, with a harsh edge, and doubtless having a very limited shelf life before the harshness takes over. Again the Riserva is a good wine, though I am not sure it is $32 good; you can get Montepulcianos from Italy that are as good or better, at better prices. Keep your expectations for the place at a simmer; enjoy the scenery, the atmosphere, and the Riserva.

This is a beautiful place and the wine is good. We went there with friends to enjoy lunch on the patio to find that the menu shown on the website is for sandwiches, cheese, and spreads that are in a cooler in the corner of the tasting room. There was no restaurant there but we had a nice time eating our prepackaged food and drinking a bottle of their wine overlooking the vineyards. If we go back for a meal we will take our own picnic.

Our first wine tasting at an Italian styled vineyard. It's a ways off Route 421, but worth some aggravation. They are rebuilding the access road, but the estate is immaculate. We tried all their offerings and purchased two that we liked. We purchased another bottle for a friend dedicates to dog rescue; the owners have dedicated a bottle to this endeavor. It was a romantic setting to enjoy with the love of your life.

We have been visiting the winery for years - it has by far, one of the most beautiful vistas in the state. We've tried to like this place but we never feel comfortable. They seem to be high pressure and all about sales. $12 for a tasting is more than any other NC winery we have visited, not to mention the question of if we want to tip our tasting pourer on our way out the door. If you bring your own appetizers you have to picnic in a special set-a-side area. They are making some progress with their reds but are over priced. If I am going to pay $30 for a bottle of wine I'll get a Super Tuscan or Barolo. When we come up in future, we'll have our friends drop us off at the new winery next door. The view is just as breath-taking - friendlier staff, tastier wine and reasonably priced.

Beautiful place to visit. Best time to Visit would be around Jun-end or July-August.They have a good wine tasting room with really knowledgeable and friendly employees . To my surprise they don't have a restaurant in this place , but some private vendor serves good Pizza's. Good place to spend 2-3 hrs max with family.

Beautiful vineyard. The wine tasting villa is good too. You get a good view. The staff is so much knowledgeable, they know everything about the wine and which one to drink with what food. If you are bringing your own food then there is picnic area. Or best is you should get from food truck and taste it with the amazingly beautiful view of vineyard. You can go for a stroll in the farms. There is also a wine tour starting at 4 pm.

The best vineyard to visit in North Carolina. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We went to several vineyards in the area on our trip and this one was the best by far. The wines...unbelievable. Their newest sparkling wine is insanely good. The property...gorgeous. Bring a lunch as unless they have a food truck, not much in the area to eat. Otherwise, relax and enjoy!

We've been to many wineries in several states and Raffaldini has nailed it in my opinion. Being a huge fan of Italian grapes , their Montepulciano and Sangiovese is delicious . Beautiful scenery of distant mountains, ,hills and valleys.The 2 story villa is surrounded by small man made ponds as you walk from the parking lot down to the villa is loaded with rose bushes , rosemary and a nice olive tree greeting you in front of the place . Kim was very knowledgable and a blast to talk to . Joining their wine club is free and recommended .

Bring a picnic lunch or buy "nibbles" there, grab a glass of wine from their excellent wine list, go outside, sit on the covered deck or out on the beautiful patio. The view is incredible! The grounds are beautiful with walkways winding around the gardens towards the front of the villa! Driving into the villa reminds my husband and I of Italian vineyards/wineries we have visited in Italy and in northern California! Become a member, it's well worth it!

Very hospitable hosts with Italian style wines in an Italian style venue. This quaint and lovely tuscan-like winery offers balcony views of the distant Blue Ridge Mountains, along with gracious hospitality. Never felt rushed or pushed along. Very nice wines and will return when possible.

The views and facility here were amazing but I was highly unimpressed by the wines and the service. Tuscan-style but missing something, dry wines were VERY dry and their dessert style left a filmy feel and a waxy aftertaste. The staff hardly acknowledged my presence and conducted my entire tasting without saying an entire sentence to me; preoccupied gossiping with co-workers.

the views are some of the best that the yadkin valley has to offer. The staff goes above and beyond. And even their dress were super friendly to our large party that was there for a bachelorette event. We really enjoyed sitting in the shade outside on the upper level. Their wine is delicious. I'd recommend this for anyone a group of girls just getting together are perfect for a couples afternoon out.

First off, this is definitely one of the more beautiful of all the wineries in the area. They have beautiful views of the mountains, with many acres of grape vines spread throughout. There tasting room was also very nice and reminds you of Tuscany. They even have a wood fire pizza oven come inside, which had delicious food. I also think their wine was very good albeit their tasting and wine was on the higher side of other wineries in the area. Without a doubt a must see. Ask for Wade as he was great to learn from about their wines and history.

Ever since we discovered this vineyard and winery, we have tried to travel to it at least once each fall and spring. The villa is very nice and the view from the second story really shows off why North Carolina is becoming the wine country of the East coast. The staff at the wine tastings are always friendly and informative. It is clear that they are thoroughly educated on the vineyard's history and its purpose. Raffaldini wines themselves are elegant and very enjoyable. The tagline, "Chianti in the Carolinas," is fitting. The vineyard is a good example of what sort of wine North Carolina is capable of. Last fall we purchased a Raffaldini wine and had some friends over for a wine tasting, comparing the Raffaldini wine to the same varietal at the same price point from California and Italy. Our guests were impressed at what North Carolina has to offer.

Beautiful venue with friendly, knowledgeable staff. They are one of the only vineyards in NC with Italian wines so you can enjoy some Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and other varieties that are less common in NC. The vineyard is large with nice open views of the mountains. The patio looked nice but we were there when it was snowing so we stayed inside mostly. They have a hangout space upstairs where you can sit and drink your wine and enjoy the view if the weather is not great out. They have lots of events so we will definitely be back!
