You will be able to see all the information of people who are using the services of Raffaldini Vineyards & Winery, LLC (Winery) near North Carolina.
At the moment the business receives a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 120 reviews.
As you can see its rating is basically the best one, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the valuation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to set reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Winery is classified in the category of Vineyard.
Wines are good yet over priced - i guess the price includes the panoramic view from the vinyard which can be rationalized to compensate for the price. O
Beautiful area, such gorgeous scenery. The wine tasting was very reasonably priced. Our wine pourer, Jesse, was knowledgable about the wines, the process, and answered all of our questions. Will definitely return. Very good vibes and happy about the fact you can bring your own food for a nice picnic.
Excellent. Easily my favorite vineyard in North Carolina and easy to access from the interstate.
Great wine at a beautiful location overlooking the mountains. Definitely a necessary experience for any wine lover.
Best vineyard I have been to so far! It’s really pretty and everyone is super nice!
Beautiful winery and vineyard, friendly and informative staff. The view can’t be beat! Raffaldini produces excellent wine and a great experience!
Unique wine tasting experience for Yadkin Valley vineyards because of the grape selection. Enjoyed the reds. The staff is very friendly and personable.
We had such a great time Sunday! Me and thee other of my friends stopped by the winery along the way to another location. We had Charlene and she was, by far, the most pleasant and hospitable person that we have met there. Truly mad our experience and time there enjoyable. We cannot wait to return in the fall and look forward to the music, lush wines and Charlene to pour! Thanks!
The flavors, sights and ambiance of this vineyard are all you would wish to experience on a lazy trip down the wine road.
This is a beautiful winery. Enjoyed a nice afternoon sitting on the upper deck with a glass of wine and conversing with other visitors.
We had a fantastic experience, even with a little rainy weather. Beautiful estate, fantastic wines, and very knowledgeable and friendly staff!
Un lugar hermoso, vale la pena visitar. El trato de Denise, fue uno excelente. Gracias. A beautiful place, it was worth it the visit.
Other than our experience at the Sanctuary winery on the outer banks, probably our best tasting experience. Alex was an excellent educator.
Tuscan style winery! It was perfect to say the least. Gorgeous mansion and beautiful grounds with so much detail. We tried all wine offering and headed to our next stop. We will definitely return again.
Gorgeous vienyard, great customer service which you never see anymore!!! Very relaxed, yet classy atmosphere! We did a wine tasting which was very fun, Entertaining and our wine tasting guy Rhett was awesome!! Even offered to take our picture! Thanks for a wonderful And memorable Saturday!
Jessica was wonderful. I very much intend to drink Sangiovese Classico the very next time I have a big life decision to make just as she suggested. Delightful cheers to Raffaldini Vineyards and all staff!
I went here for a wedding and I was blown away from how friendly a professional the Staff was. I had been to 4 other weddings this summer and this was the best venue and best staff. Jessica, Jesse, and Tess were wonderful and I will be recommending raffaldini to all of my friends because of them. And of course the wine was wonderful.
Greeted upon entry and had a warm, knowledgeable wine tasting hostess. The wine tasting was diverse and the wines were terrific. The wine venue was beautiful. Highly recommend.
While I don't normally like dry wines, their wines were excellent. Beautiful location and facilities.
My favorite in North Carolina. Amazing views. Amazing wines.
Beautiful location! Unfortunately it was storming so I did not get the full views but it was calming and relaxing. Justin was my sommelier and was amazing. I was by myself and he did not try and rush me and we had a great chat while I was trying the wines. It was an overall wonderful experience. I have already recommended this winery to other people and plan to go back myself.
I had an amazing day! I view was breathtaking, the wine outstanding and the staff very knowledgeable. Justin was our wine expert . Awesome person!!!!! Such a breath of fresh air to meet someone so knowledgeable about wine and yet so down to earth. I had a blast getting to know Justin. Between the wine and Justin I had a great time. I will definitely be returning.
We always love visiting here, they have some of the best NC dry wines. The views and property are picturesque. No full meals are available but they offer charcuterie and other snacks. Okay to bring kids too for rolling down the grassy hill.
We went a while back and I can't say enough good things about this place. I did spend $100, but ingot several bottles of wine, glasses, and the experience. It has such a beautiful view with wine to match. If you're thinking of going--go!
This was our first time to visit this NC Vinyard but absolutely fell in love with this place. Wine lovers of bold REDS have a tough time finding really good wines compared to others like CA. and Italian reds BUT this place is as good as many of the great wines imported from anyplace in the world. Most people look for opportunities to buy products in our state and the USA and this is a place wine lovers of very good red wine should give a try. We will surely be back soon. Thanks
This is simply one of the most stunning views I have seen as a NC resident. It's a great date place with a stunning view of the Yadkin Valley. The wine tasting @$7 per person is a fair value. Grab a bottle of wine, sit on the patio and enjoy the view.
Plenty of shaded outdoor seating, quiet location, Italian style wines.
Great wine and beautiful setting for the vinyard. One of NC'S best.
In our opinion, Raffaldini has the best wines in North Carolina. We have toured Napa and Sonoma numerous times, and the Montepulciano and IL Falco compete with most premium Italian varietals that we have tasted in CA. The Auguri is is a very nice bottle fermented medium dry sparkling white wine. It is great in a mimosa, but why ruin a good wine with fruit juice? We prefer to drink it unadulterated. As far as the winery, the view is beautiful and we have experienced excellent, friendly service. Raffaldini is usually busy for a reason. As when in Italy, don't go if you are in a rush. Go to enjoy the experience, even if it takes some time.
A beautiful place, awesome views. The wine was delicious and the staff very friendly.
Raffaldini seems to be among the best known and most esteemed of NC wineries; it has even gotten mentioned in a prominent Italian wine writer's recent book. Their Montepulciano Riserva is, indeed, a good wine. And it is a lovely place to visit, with a nice tasting room and a fine view. However, I would not make a separate trip here unless you live close; I would make it part of a winery tour as there are several in the area, and more not far away. I have done a tasting there and, aside from the Riserva, their wines are not very impressive. Their whites are not good at all; they make a Vermentino, for instance, which is somewhat interesting on the nose but which I found to be a zero on the palate. (For a better East Coast Vermentino, try the one from Barboursville Vineyards in Virginia.) Their Bella Misto is a typical East Coast boutique winery red: a lot of fruit and spice, lacking refinement, with a harsh edge, and doubtless having a very limited shelf life before the harshness takes over. Again the Riserva is a good wine, though I am not sure it is $32 good; you can get Montepulcianos from Italy that are as good or better, at better prices. Keep your expectations for the place at a simmer; enjoy the scenery, the atmosphere, and the Riserva.
Fantastic experience two years in a row. Very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable people. Jay is absolutely wonderful, and the wine is truly some of the best wine I have ever had!
This is a beautiful place and the wine is good. We went there with friends to enjoy lunch on the patio to find that the menu shown on the website is for sandwiches, cheese, and spreads that are in a cooler in the corner of the tasting room. There was no restaurant there but we had a nice time eating our prepackaged food and drinking a bottle of their wine overlooking the vineyards. If we go back for a meal we will take our own picnic.
Our first wine tasting at an Italian styled vineyard. It's a ways off Route 421, but worth some aggravation. They are rebuilding the access road, but the estate is immaculate. We tried all their offerings and purchased two that we liked. We purchased another bottle for a friend dedicates to dog rescue; the owners have dedicated a bottle to this endeavor. It was a romantic setting to enjoy with the love of your life.
Great Winery to visit un the Yadkin Valley
Stormy weather...beautiful experience! Thank you #raffaldini
My partner and I have been coming to Raffaldini Vineyards for five years now. It's truly one of the most spectacular vistas in all of North Carolina. The wines, not only in variety, but also flavor profile, surpass almost all others found in the Yadkin Valley Region. Raffaldini Vineyards is not to be missed!
#BEAUTIFUL VINEYARD! We had an amazing time. The views are spectacular! I'll love to come back.
We have been visiting the winery for years - it has by far, one of the most beautiful vistas in the state. We've tried to like this place but we never feel comfortable. They seem to be high pressure and all about sales. $12 for a tasting is more than any other NC winery we have visited, not to mention the question of if we want to tip our tasting pourer on our way out the door. If you bring your own appetizers you have to picnic in a special set-a-side area. They are making some progress with their reds but are over priced. If I am going to pay $30 for a bottle of wine I'll get a Super Tuscan or Barolo. When we come up in future, we'll have our friends drop us off at the new winery next door. The view is just as breath-taking - friendlier staff, tastier wine and reasonably priced.
Lovely day - wonderful Chianti in the Carolinas
Totally awesome place. We will definitely go back here. I highly recommend checking this place out. All the wines were great atmosphere was great beautiful place.
Sit on the top deck with a glass of wine and take in the view.
Alicia was great we had an amazing time!!! Beautiful views and fun staff!
Beautiful place to visit. Best time to Visit would be around Jun-end or July-August.They have a good wine tasting room with really knowledgeable and friendly employees . To my surprise they don't have a restaurant in this place , but some private vendor serves good Pizza's. Good place to spend 2-3 hrs max with family.
Very good experience at this winery. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The reds were very good. The view however is the best thing about this place. Valley wide views. Great place to sit outside and sip a glass.
What a fabulous vineyard, the views from this Vineyard are amazing. The wines are incredible and the service was excellent.
Fantastic vineyard, excellent wines, perfect location, professional, knowledgeable staff, a favorite get away.
Probably the best looking winery in the area but no pets allowed on the grounds. Come on man!
Beautiful tasting room and probably the best Italian NC wines I have had. Fantastic view of the vineyards and the foothills from the tasting room and patio. Have event spaces as well.
Gorgeous scenery, decent wine, terrible service. I felt like I was in Long Island, not the Carolinas.
Love the place, but there wine has gotten very expensive
Beautiful vineyard. The wine tasting villa is good too. You get a good view. The staff is so much knowledgeable, they know everything about the wine and which one to drink with what food. If you are bringing your own food then there is picnic area. Or best is you should get from food truck and taste it with the amazingly beautiful view of vineyard. You can go for a stroll in the farms. There is also a wine tour starting at 4 pm.
Love this place. I only request you open on Tuesday. This is normally my traveling day from Ohio and you are always closed. :(
Great wine. Gorgeous views.
Wonderfully informative service and great wines. Views are outstanding! Lovely place to sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the view.
Excellent place for wine tastings, events, or to simply relax and enjoy a day with a loved one. Scenery is amazing year round, even when it rains or is foggy and service is impeccable.
The wine here isn't as good as some of the other wineries in Yadkin Valley but they definitely have the best facilities and views.
Beautiful vineyard, gorgeous views. We loved the mood, the aura. Can't wait to go back.
Absolutely beautiful venue! Having drank their wines for years, visiting was a must! Thank you to Josh for making our tasting a superb experience.
We love this winery so much we decided to get married here! Nuff' said.
The best vineyard to visit in North Carolina. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We went to several vineyards in the area on our trip and this one was the best by far. The wines...unbelievable. Their newest sparkling wine is insanely good. The property...gorgeous. Bring a lunch as unless they have a food truck, not much in the area to eat. Otherwise, relax and enjoy!
We've been to many wineries in several states and Raffaldini has nailed it in my opinion. Being a huge fan of Italian grapes , their Montepulciano and Sangiovese is delicious . Beautiful scenery of distant mountains, ,hills and valleys. The 2 story villa is surrounded by small man made ponds as you walk from the parking lot down to the villa is loaded with rose bushes , rosemary and a nice olive tree greeting you in front of the place . Kim was very knowledgable and a blast to talk to . Joining their wine club is free and recommended .
My husband and I became members a year ago or more. Wonderful wines! Awsome Four Seasons Wine Pairing Dinners! Staff very accommodating, helpful and friendly! Wonderful place to visit! Bring a picnic lunch or buy "nibbles" there, grab a glass of wine from their excellent wine list, go outside, sit on the covered deck or out on the beautiful patio. The view is incredible! The grounds are beautiful with walkways winding around the gardens towards the front of the villa! Driving into the villa reminds my husband and I of Italian vineyards/wineries we have visited in Italy and in northern California! Become a member, it's well worth it!
Beautiful place. Wines are interesting but a bit expensive. They sell some sandwiches and cold food. Apparently they are building a restaurant in site
Love it here. Have been a case club member for many years. I wish someone can talk Jay into adding a restaurant!! It is much needed!!
This was my third time visiting this winery and our experience this time could not have been better. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and Justin provided our tasting. Justin was so knowledgeable and personable and we enjoyed our tasting so much. This winery is absolutely beautiful and has amazing views and the wines are my favorite that I’ve found in NC wines.
Very hospitable hosts with Italian style wines in an Italian style venue. This quaint and lovely tuscan-like winery offers balcony views of the distant Blue Ridge Mountains, along with gracious hospitality. Never felt rushed or pushed along. Very nice wines and will return when possible.
Pretty good wines. Beautiful winery and grounds.
Nice experience, good wine in a beautiful environment.
Justin was amazing, fun and knowledgeable. Beautiful scenery, clean facilities and great wine! Perfect day destination for our annual girls trip
Beautiful vineyard, that resembles a building straight from France/Spain! We drove up from Charlotte for the afternoon during the fall. Went through the tasting and had an additional glass as well as a nice cheese plate. A great way to spend an afternoon.
Love this place! Got engaged here and it was amazing!
Lovely location, atmosphere and wines!!
The views and facility here were amazing but I was highly unimpressed by the wines and the service. Tuscan-style but missing something, dry wines were VERY dry and their dessert style left a filmy feel and a waxy aftertaste. The staff hardly acknowledged my presence and conducted my entire tasting without saying an entire sentence to me; preoccupied gossiping with co-workers.
Amazing view, even better wine.
Great ambiance, beautiful setting. The wines are ok, overpriced for the quality but worth it overall given the location. Location, location, location! Sitting outside over looking the vineyard and the mountains sure make this winery a great stop.
Very unprofessional. Cynthia was very rude to our group immediately. She acted as if we were interrupting her day with our group of 13. We left immediately. The view is beautiful so come and see it without going inside.
I designed the Villa
Tess is the bomb
We are members and love the wine club. Beautiful vineyard.
go if you like big red wines. They have interesting varietals and flavorful wines. Views and customer service are unsurpassed.
Great wines in a fantastic atmosphere! Highly recommend!
the views are some of the best that the yadkin valley has to offer. The staff goes above and beyond. And even their dress were super friendly to our large party that was there for a bachelorette event. We really enjoyed sitting in the shade outside on the upper level. Their wine is delicious. I'd recommend this for anyone a group of girls just getting together are perfect for a couples afternoon out.
Great photo opp. Wine fell flat. If you want Tuscan-like views, come here. But if you want good-quality wine with good service and a knowledgeable staff, without battling an over-hyped crowd, there are much better options nearby with better quality and prices.
So glad we chose to come here! Darby helped us with our wine tasting and she was very knowledgeable about the wines and made sure we were happy. It was very fair prices and beautiful scenery! We absolutely loved our experience here and would most definitely come back the next time we are in North Carolina. I would highly recommend this winery.
First off, this is definitely one of the more beautiful of all the wineries in the area. They have beautiful views of the mountains, with many acres of grape vines spread throughout. There tasting room was also very nice and reminds you of Tuscany. They even have a wood fire pizza oven come inside, which had delicious food. I also think their wine was very good albeit their tasting and wine was on the higher side of other wineries in the area. Without a doubt a must see. Ask for Wade as he was great to learn from about their wines and history.
Very popular, very busy. I wasn't crazy about the wines. They don't provide a military discount. Shame on them for that. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because it's so beautiful. The views are awesome.
Ever since we discovered this vineyard and winery, we have tried to travel to it at least once each fall and spring. The villa is very nice and the view from the second story really shows off why North Carolina is becoming the wine country of the East coast. The staff at the wine tastings are always friendly and informative. It is clear that they are thoroughly educated on the vineyard's history and its purpose. Raffaldini wines themselves are elegant and very enjoyable. The tagline, "Chianti in the Carolinas," is fitting. The vineyard is a good example of what sort of wine North Carolina is capable of. Last fall we purchased a Raffaldini wine and had some friends over for a wine tasting, comparing the Raffaldini wine to the same varietal at the same price point from California and Italy. Our guests were impressed at what North Carolina has to offer.
all I can say is.....awesome!
Love this place. Great wine, great views, very relaxing.
One of the most beautiful vineyard that we have visited. We try to stop every time that we are in the area. Having a glass of wine and a lunch overlooking the vineyard is most relaxing.
Beautiful vineyard. Great events. Unfortunately all the best wines here run over $30 bottle. Most of the tasting wines that are more affordable are not great but I do love the oversized wine glass that's included!
Overcrowded and we were ignored.
This is the most beautiful winery I have been to in North Catolina. The wines were awesome and service was on point. Loved the outdoor seating.
Beautiful venue with friendly, knowledgeable staff. They are one of the only vineyards in NC with Italian wines so you can enjoy some Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and other varieties that are less common in NC. The vineyard is large with nice open views of the mountains. The patio looked nice but we were there when it was snowing so we stayed inside mostly. They have a hangout space upstairs where you can sit and drink your wine and enjoy the view if the weather is not great out. They have lots of events so we will definitely be back!
Great wine , amazing Staff , Beautiful scenery.
