I would give them a 10 star review! We ate at the bistro for our anniversary yesterday and it was amazing! The food was excellent our waitress did an amazing job and the drinks were up to par! We spend some time walking the grounds and listening to some music in the pavilion. If you have not been here your missing out!

Frank Miller

YOU MUST have tasting with Olga . She is knowledable and super humorous ..... What a fun time....and the winery is gorgeous and the wines are quite good. Riesling is beyond good.

Deborah McKinley

Nice visit for a day trip with friends. We did a wine tasting with a bartender who was very knowledgable. Also had lunch at the bistro.. would recommend reservations even though it might not be needed. We didn't have any and was told the wait was an hour which actually ended up being 5 mins

Decarus Minor

Nice atmosphere, lovely scenery. Very relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great time and relax with a glass of wine.

Benny Sineath

The whole experience was wonderful.. everyone was very professional.. food was awesome we highly recommend going....

Dodd Linker

This was our 2nd time at the winery. We got the Reuben. This time it was dry, and we asked for more dressing for which we were informed it would cost 50 cents per shot glass! The sandwich was $15. Seemed ridiculous to be charged extra to make up for their lack of adequate sauce. It also had very little sour crout which is a part of a Reuben.

Brandi Greenwald

Had a wonderful time! The winery is gorgeous and the staff we knowledgeable, and friendly. We left with a couple bottles of wine. Can’t wait to go back again, highly recommend!

Jennifer Ehninger

We visited today after going to the RCR museum. It was rainy and winter so we didn't walk the grounds. The winery is beautiful, like an Italian villa. We had a great tour of the wine making operation. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we were very impressed by the vineyards. We are lunch in the Bistro, one of the best meals we've eaten. Very affordably priced. Save room for dessert, the mint chocolate cheesecake and bourbon cherry cobbler were amazing. Great wine tasting experience with Peggy. We will definitely plan to return the next time we come to NC.

joe rossi

Richard's Ruben was AWESOME!! EXCELLENT service and atmosphere. Stocked up on wine on the way out..

Christina Norman

I have always loved this vineyard, the wine is good the tastings are fun and the tours are free. I've been coming since this opened and Mr. Childress and his vintner have done wonders for this area in terms of tourism. Guests are treated well no matter their attire. People can come in a NASCAR shirt or a tailored suit with the experience exactly the same.

Katelyn Cassel

A gorgeous winery with great wine. But what really amazed me was the awesome customer service I received. I live in Pennsylvania, but went to the Childress 90's night while visiting some friends in the area. I wanted to buy some wine to take home before I left, but the gift shop had already closed. Carolyn, who was working at the bar across from the gift shop, offered to get me the bottles I wanted to buy from the gift shop and bring them back to me. She went above and beyond, and it was greatly appreciated!

mysti proctor

Bistro is delicious!!! Chicken salad croissant and tomato goat cheese soup are my fave!!!

Shear and Comb

Wedding vibes

Terry Snow

Beautiful restaurant and grounds. Great waitstaff and excellent food. Gift shop that provides wine tastings.

Matthew Hatfield

Great atmosphere and food. Great price.

The scenery at the winery was amazing and the staff was friendly. I visited the winery on a day were the live band was playing. I had a wonderful time.

Mia Esteves

2 stars is for the views and scenery. We did a wine tasting, and $30 later, We didn't even get 1 glass of wine for that amount. I would have rather gotten me wine than a souvenir glass. Ater the tasting, the server didn't give us new glasses or even rinse the glasses out. She just took them, and put them in a paper thing with no handles. So I went to the counter after and asked for a bag to carry the glasses and in, and the girl gave me a plastic "thank you" bag. WOW. Right next to those were the Childress logo paper bags with handles. I just laughed and we left after that. So because I didn't buy a bottle or something from their gift shop, they gave me the plastic take out bag. I did pay for a wine tasting which was a waste, and the fact that Childress is that petty and cheap, it makes sense I didn't like any of their wines enough to buy them. I am not a snooty rich person, and I felt they were just low class with how they handled the glasses and not cleaning them out or jusy giving us new ones and the bag thing was a joke.

Jesse Dobbin

We came as a group and had a great time. We got a bunch of stares, but we took it as we were celebrities. Decent wines also

Tracey Pomeroy

I had a great lunch today at the Bistro and Blake, the server, was totally awesome!! I will always request Blake in the future! What a great day!

Regina Ramos-Hooker

The staff were extremely professional, good problem-solvers and very hospitable! The setting is beautiful. I enjoyed the pool.

Childress Vineyard is an awesome place to do a tasting, a tour and have a glass of wine. Very knowledgable tour guide who was able to explain the history of the region and the wines. The tuscany-style atmosphere, in the heart of NC, transports you to Italy. The wines are not as rich and full bodied as I liked, they are also a bit high priced or it would have been a 5 star. So happy to have found a place like this close to home. Will be there often.

Aminah P

Great day, relaxing and fun. Very beautiful Vineyard and our tour guide and wine server did excellent jobs. I definitely suggest trying the wine slushies..yummy!!

Mike Simpson

Always enjoy, staff and food prepared well. One of our favorite place to visit for lunch and a glass of wine.

walter atkins

High in fine dinning in an area where none is available. Little pricey, but great food and service.

David McMurray

Beautiful place with knowledgeable servers. The wine was delectable.

Richie Richmond

Really great place but the food lines were extremely long. We bought chips n salsa from the store and eat that and just left early to go to dinner. It was also boring because the DJ talked most of the time not play music.

margery southall

When the waiter finally showed up to our table (6) of us and took our drink order then we sat and waited again. We asked about the frozen slushies and she said she would bring us samples. They NEVER made it to our table. In the meantime we placed our order. Sit and wait again. We saw other tables being served knowing they came in after us. We really did feel they took priority over us. Finally I asked about at least getting the kids meal. A server brought Most of the food out about 10 minutes after including kids meal. I ordered the blt sandwich with soup. Nothing spectacular to talk about. Basic plus one side of bread was soggy and with only 1 1/2 slice tomato. This ordeal took roughly 1 1/2 hours. When the waiter came back we asked for a to go box and check. Her running the credit card through was literally the fastest she moved and that I have ever seen...NEVER got those sample slushies...I guess you have to be a regular or have reservations in order to get good service. Wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Joel Dies

Beautiful landscape, great hosting. Not my cup of tea, but I'm more rugged.

Rich Key

Beautiful place for lunch, great food!

Rich Teska

We went yesterday food was great and so was the service.

Hope Jeffcoat

Absolutely delicious food. The Bang Bang Shrimp are so yummy, and the wine flights are such a great idea. I love a butternut squash soup in the fall and this one did not disappoint.

Hal Garrison

Excellent food at a reasonable price in a beautiful setting. And then there are the wines :)

carra fansler

An absolutely stunning venue. I did the Sweet wine tasting of 8 with the souvenir glass for $12. The wines were very good and the staff was friendly. I would definitely suggest this winery.

Kim Ryan

We wanted to love this Vineyard. But we left feeling disappointed. My thinking is that Childress wanted to create a slice of a Tuscan vineyard in Lexington NC, but instead he missed the mark in so many details and it felt a bit like a tourist attraction in Disney World. Their restaurant, the Bistro could have been so much more. A dark depressing and very noisy restaurant lacking any kind of atmosphere or ambience....... How about fresh flowers on the table instead of plastic? Real plants instead of fake.? Alfresco dining so we can hear the live musician singing outside.? And a good power washing to get the bird poop off the window railings would help too!! After lunch you can visit the gift shop. It’s huge. And you can buy all the souvenirs your heart desires. There were some pretty spots on the grounds where you could enjoy a bottle of wine. But everyone seemed to be enjoying their wine slushees! The food, service and wine were all ok. It was the atmosphere that was lacking. This just wasn’t the experience we were looking for.

Tracy Berthelson

Great Food, Great Wine, Great Atmosphere. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp and they were very delicious. Make reservations, especially on the weekends. They have great events there. Enjoyed walking around the vineyard. Very beautiful. If you love their wine, join the Fast Track Wine Club! I did and I'm enjoying all of the perks!

Debi Sticklen

This is a lovely vineyard, with excellent food and service. I think it would actually create a delightful mini escape for a night or two but for one big problem. The restaurant closes at 3:00 p.m., making it a great place to visit for the day, but there is nowhere around the area to eat dinner if you choose to stay the night. If they would also serve dinner and stay open for the evening, it would be perfect. That’s the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

G Sturtzel

We have been wine club members for 14 years and do not visit often enough. Our observations after visiting today...the staff (all of them) are so friendly and genuinely caring about you enjoying your visit. 5 stars great job Richard like everthing else you do it is first class

J Austin

My wife and I love Vineyards and have visited a lot of them. Thanks to Mr. Childress, we now have a new favorite! The Childress Vineyards atmosphere is magnificent! There were smiles on countless faces, including our own, as we walked, shopped, sipped our wine, and toured the beautiful facility. The wine was great, the shop contained lots of interesting and reasonably priced items and the restaurant was fantastic. We will definitely be back, and soon, and if there is a tempeh plate or garden burger on the menu next time (for those of us who ‘lean’ vegetarian), I will search for a way to give this winning #1 Vineyard 10 stars!

Keke Davis

Wonderful atmosphere. Bistro is amazing, and last but not least a huge wine selection

Carol Bridgeland

Beautiful setting. Great food. It was too early to do a wine tasting. Next time.

Karen Shively

The epitome of Southern Hospitality! Awesome vineyard atmosphere and awesome music! What a great way to spend a Saturday!

Jewel Watts

Everything about this place is great! Food is delicious, wines are excellent, service is usually good.

amy bakke

One of the best meals we've had with all our travels!! Normally I can't drink American made wines but was happy that I could have that wine as well!! Very good wine.

Don Paustian

This is a really great place to have lunch and shop. The tasting room is first class.

Stephen Boice

Great food and great service. I'll be back!

brandon maceri

Great place with great food and wine. Mr. Childress is rolling in the dough.

Oladapo Adetunji

Just amazing!!!! One of the best places in NC.

Chris A.K.T.

This is a beautiful winery and a fun day trip from Charlotte. I love being able to explore the grounds and do the winery tour. The place itself is beautiful inside and would make a magical place to host a wedding. The wine isn’t that great, but it was still fun!

CAROLYN PHILLIPS

Had lunch with with my boyfriend and his daughter, it was wonderful. Service was good. The view and ambiance couldn't have been better. Will definitely be back. Soon I hope.

John Hardee

Great for lunch. Make reservations though.

Roger Byars

Very nice winery. Grounds were well kept and wine selection is vast. What else would you expect from Richard Childress? The tasting was good but they only had one person serving and the whole thing felt rushed. Wasn't a big fan of feeling rushed? The tasting was just that, a very small taste, like a table spoon full. I'm not expecting a glass full but at least a swallow so you get a chance to really taste the wine. Their tasting is more of a wet your lips. Thats okay, every winery is different. Overall a nice visit.

Jennie Koontz

We had lunch there and the food was really sub-par. My husband ordered the beef filet and had to send it back because he couldn't cut it. He was served a piece of beef as a replacement that was the consistency of pot roast and definitely well done when he ordered medium rare. I ordered the scallop fettuccine and it was good but there were only 4 small scallops. We will not be returning!

Andrea Lacy

$21 for cheese appetizer!! It was tiny, the smallest pieces of cheese, i've ever seen! Complete and total rip-off! I've been to a lot of wineries and why I got talked into going to one right off the expressway is beyond me. Out of all the choices here in my new state of NC, skip this one. Smallest tastings of wine too and you can't even pick what you'd like to try!

Carrie Woods

Wow! What a wonderful place. It was absolutely beautiful. They really care about the wine making it is very good. Richard Childress has created a fabulous place to visit. If you have time take the tour, it is worth it. You also hear how Childress helps the community and shows up to his winery often. It is a relaxing place. My husband and I enjoy visiting wineries! This one has made the top of our list.

Claudia Dickens

Several years ago we went on a wine trail and Childress was the last winery to get checked off our "pass." The server in the tasting room was extremely condescending to us and said they didn't do that any more. She asked how long ago we began the trail and we said "yesterday." We were supposed to get a wine trail t-shirt from the last winery we visited and they had no shirt to give us and made no apologies. The t-shirt wasn't the point, but the rudeness of the server was uncalled for. If it was not for the wine itself being good, I would have given only 1 star. It appears to me that the winery being big and successful has forgotten that it is the customer that has made them big and successful. We do not stop there any more as we continue to visit NC wineries, and we have visited over 100 of them! We find that the smaller wineries are far more friendly and considerate.

Deborah Lebeau

A lovely setting and beautiful grounds. Wine choice was excellent pared with a scrupulous dessert, but dinner entries were tasteless. Do not recommend the Linguine with scallops or the Gnocchi. Slow service for meals, the wait staff were very courteous and attentive.

April Harrison

If you're not white please do not bother with this place. I was considering having my vow renewal at the Vineyard's but after yesterday's treatment to my husband it will be a cold day in hell before I'll give you guys my money. Whoever the lady is that drives the black SUV she needs to be fired!!! We were told to meet a photographer there at 6:15 PM and we happened to be going down the road that leads to the winery and we didn't even get halfway down the road and a lady in a black SUV blocks the road jumps out and starts waving her hands and yelling and very rudely and says " You've got to go, we're closed, take your car and turn around. Keep in mind it was impossible for us to turn around because there was a vehicle behind us we were trying to explain why we were there and also trying to tell her we're leaving but theres a car behind us but she would not let us speak. She kept speaking over my husband while motioning her hands for us to turn around. She just went pure crazy on us and she nicely told the car behind us they had to leave but then proceeded to continue treating my Latino husband like a dog. I feel shes racist and shouldn't be working there. If you want business and want to keep business I'd suggest you definitely get rid of her! I've never in my life felt so low and degraded. That lady owes my husband and I a BIG apology. There was no sense in her treating us like that. Very good way to lose future business and potentially have a lawsuit for discrimination.

I have lived in the area for a long time and although I am not big on wine this is a fantastic place to visit and enjoy spending time with your significant other. If you like wine it will be even better, we enjoyed the food and desserts at the bistro. The winery had awesome views and a great wine tour, it is well worth the trip to Lexington, NC. You can also wander through the property and pick one of the many tables or spots and enjoy a bottle of wine overlooking the wonderful scenery.

Dee K

beautiful grounds, breathtaking view, friendly staff!

Glenn Griggs

Great Food!

Dawn Evans

Had a great lunch there today. Was a very relaxing day, also a tour of winery.

John Humphrey

The facility is Beautiful! There is a nice gift shop, that doubles as a tasting bar, and a nice looking restaurant. I stopped in in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon, and although the gift shop/tasting bar seemed well staffed, I was not acknowledged ... not even with a nod of the head or a "We will be right with you." I wish I could review the wine, but tastings started at $15, and that seemed like a high price to pay, especially if I have to interrupt someone's standing around time to ask them to take my money. This is the first time in ages that I have visited a winey and not left with at least 6 bottles of wine. Disappointing -- it looks like it could be a fun place.

john v

A quick, free informative tour was a great way to start the afternoon, and after our interest was piqued, we decided to proceed on to a tasting. Relatively inexpensive at only 12-15 per person for the tastings, and a great selection of wines left us with a happy, memorable experience. Sadly, with our lower tolerance, we were already feeling tipsy and didn't proceed on to a second round of tastings. We tried the sweet (cellar selection) of whites, but missed out on the dry (barrel select) of red wines. We're already looking forward to our return trip in the spring when some vines are starting to bloom. Maybe it helps that we just drank a bunch of wine, but overall a good, happy experience and we can't wait to return. Absolutely recommend for a day trip.

Melissa Nelson

I came to Childress Vineyards for my birthday today and I have to say it was the best decision I ever made!! We had an amazing tasting of some wonderful wines, went to the bistro for lunch served by an amazing waiter Blake, and got to take a picture with the man himself Richard Childress with an autographed bottle of wine to end a perfect birthday!! I will come back for sure and I want to thank all the staff for making my birthday special!!

Terry Palmer

Childress Vineyards has always been a wonderful place to visit when we come back to NC for my husband's family reunion. All the staff members are extremely pleasant and friendly. The tour is a must the first time you come here. We enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the attention to detail that was put in to building this winery.

Dave Ingram

Childress Vineyard is in a very convenient and beautiful location. We enjoyed a tasting before lunch in the Bistro and a tour of the winery afterward. The wine, the food and the service is very good. The grounds are developed and maintained beautifully. We took advantage of their offer to purchase a membership into their wine club, including discounts on all purchases in the store and Bistro. Also available to club members is a discounted rate at the Holiday Inn Express located on the property! Lots of opportunities here to have a variety of special events. The spacious Pavilion is great for a large group! Looking forward to regular visits to Childress Vineyard throughout the coming year!

Tonga Newsome

The wine, food and ambiance was just perfect. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely visit again!

Rebecca Bowen

Stopped by Sunday afternoon and had the absolute best experience! Tricia was phenomenal, knowledgeable and so friendly! She is passionate about her job and she really made our experience that much better. The tour with Matt was awesome, he really knows his stuff! The special addition Rose was delicious, we were sure to bring some home with us. Looking forward to visiting Childress again soon!

Cecilia Redd

Wine is wonderful. The slushy is better than gold. The food at Bristol is a little pricey but it is great. Depending on how busy they are is when it gets how good or bad the service is. I still find it a great place to go to relax and unwind. Liked it when they had wine down Thursday.

Maria Prieto

Our visits to Childress Vineyards are always a pleasure. The food is excellent, the wine exquisite and the people are especially gracious and courteous. Our special kudos to Sarah in the restaurant management for her personal service and concerns towards all customers. We will certainly visit Childress in the future.

Cathy Snow

Lovely lunch in the Bistro! The occasion was their Christmas Open House.

Robert Pontrelli

Went for a wedding..great place, good food and service...wine isn't bad either...won't ship to NJ however...

Linda Benton

Our Senior Adult group visited the winery today. The facility is a beautiful, relaxing place. We enjoyed our tour, tasting and shopping. A special thanks to Sherry, our tour guide. She was awesome and so informative!

Wayne Wright

Childress Vineyards is just such a wonderful place to visit! Friendly people working there and great sights to see!

Laura Guthrie

Hope your tour guide is Chaz because he made the whole visit.

Lyn Cole

My third lunch at Childress. The food is wonderful and the wait staff EXCEPTIONAL. We go here largely because of Blake, who knows the menu inside and out. The Riesling is phenomenal and we love the gift shop! The Shrimp and Four Cheese Ravioli is in contention for the best meal of my life: treat yourself with a trip to Childress. And ask for Blake!

Blake Bullard

Great food, great service, with spectacular views and fantastic wines! Come check us out! Blake, Bistro Assistant Manager/Server

Amy VanGundy

This place is lovely. The buildings are beautiful, the grounds breathtaking. The gift shop inside is a cute little gift shop with knickknacks having to do with wine. There are also some local vendor things there which is also nice to see. There is a restaurant inside, which does take reservations but they are not required. The restaurant looks out over the grounds and serves good food. There is a wonderful winery tour which shows you various areas of the winery as well as explains the process. Very nice place to visit during all seasons.

Chris Burnett

Beautiful vineyard and facilities, free tours. Good wine and food, we will come back.

Steve Edwards

Beautiful beautiful place. Nice wine also. Loved the place. Staff was great. We did both tasting with the upgrade crystal glasses, a must!

Denise Frysinger

Beautiful! Great service at the tasting room.

Maxine Weaver

There is no heat in the Bistro. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want your customers to be comfortable and come back. I witnessed numerous complaints about it being so cold. Please explain why you do not not provide adequate heat in the Bistro when it is such a lovely place with excellent food and service. Thank you.

Kyle Smith

Apparently you can’t turn on the TVs because there is live music. Makes no sense.

Jhon Alzate

This WAS probably one of my favorite places until I visited today with a group of 9 people from out of the country. Keep in mind no one in the group looked under 40 years old. It was my aunts birthday and we drove approximately 1.5 hours to get there and get turned down because they didn’t have a government issue ID. no where in the website say you need a government issue ID. And they wouldn’t have one considering they are not from the US. for this I rate this place very low as well as we felt discriminated. The lack of empathy was noticeable. Would not recommend this place. And they should have a sign where it says no out of the country visitors allowed. Thanks for nothing.

Ms Mizz

One of my favorite Vineyards. Beautiful atmosphere, great wine and food .

Ruth Wright

Had a fabulous time at the grape stomp!! Visited the food truck, TOP Dawg, best hot dog ever!!

Yvette Spivock

Driving into the winery through the Vineyards was like entering a little piece of Europe. The actual château is beautiful with a wonderful old world tasting room and great gift shop. The bistro overlooks the vineyards and the grounds, which are lovely. The food prices were great for the portion and quality of food, all of which was excellent. The service was outstanding and extremely helpful. Most enjoyable afternoon and can’t wait to go back and take others.

Vincent Stafford

Service was good but a little slow. My food was excellent. I will be returning.

Ammar Chandoo

Beautiful vineyard! Great for weddings with the ability to entertain in the Pavilion, which is located adjacent to the man-made lake, the all-wood Banquet Room, and the rustic Barrel Cave! Along with the beautiful grounds of Childress Vineyards, they have some amazing wines! It's surprising that there low-end selection (three white/red - $12.99 classic white/red - $9.99) competes with their higher-end selection! Even though it attracts a large ("touristy") crowd, it is a definite must-go for those near the Charlotte/Salem/Lexington area

Matt Lassiter

We had a great time here. Meredith and Matt in The Tasting Room were very knowledgeable and helpful. Very good wines. Great lunch in the bistro with Brandi as our server. Definitely recommend it!

Sarah Sink

Great place

Amanda Whitley

I love Childress Winery. Not sure what Cindy below is talking about with the food. I have eaten there over three times and every meal that I have gotten there was amazing. They use fresh ingredients and you can tell. I love the atmosphere. It is one of the more gorgeous wineries in North Carolina. The wine is delicious as well. Not sure why people thought the wine tasting was pricey $10 is the going rate now a days. Just recently did the $15 Signature Barrel Tasting at Childress and by the end of it I think we tried over six wines. Which to me was a decently amount. Definitely recommend. I plan on going back again soon.

Arthur Lantor

Was greeted by name as I confirmed my lunch reservation. After being seated, resturant Manager, Sarah, came over to make sure we were being taken care of by our waiter. Outstanding lunch and service, thank you Sarah.

Arlene Baxley

I'm really disappointed. The place is beautiful, but the vineyard appears to use Roundup to control their weeds. We opted for a muscadine wine that comes from neighboring vineyards. I can tell it didn't come from Chestnut Trails that has them bottle their wine because I feel a slight earache and it pulled me down rather then made me happy.

Shelly Morin

Not impressed with the wine or the scenery.

Jenn Bowers

Wine tasting was great, hostess was very knowledgeable! Friendly atmosphere and lots of neat items to purchase.

Kip Evans

What a wonderful day with friends

Elliot Parrish

This was my first vineyard experience and this place is great. Much bigger than I was expecting; and very nice. Fun, affordable tastings and good live music and outside seating. I didn't try the food, but people seemed to be enjoying it.

Mike Lanning

Enjoyed the quick, free tour and then sampled 6 different wines. We then purchased a couple glasses of wine and enjoyed them at a small bistro-type table.

Betsy Beard

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wines (barrel select tasting) and bought more than we intended. This was partly because the owner, Richard Childress, had been in earlier and opened a bottle of his favorite. We got a sneak taste since the bottle was open... Oh, wait, was I not supposed to tell? It's my favorite wine now, too, although it's priced fairly high above our normal budget. We bought some anyway, since our 40th anniversary is coming up. We also took the informative and fun tour. All the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We'll be back!

Jonatan Casado

Really nice service and a great taste food... we had a great time... beautiful surround views

Mindy McSmith

Beautiful grounds surround an upscale winery. It offers wine tastings, gift shop, restaurant and of course a delightful tour of the wine making process.

SERGIO C

Great selection for all types of wine lovers. The prices for both tastings and bottles are unbeatable

Karen Hairston

The Bistro was wonderful! Becki was a great server. What a great personality! The food was really good, and I enjoyed the wine! I'll definitely be going back!

Dude RV

It was OK, I have had much better wine and prices that are lower. the winery was very beautiful though.

Aaron Jones

The best place to eat at even if you are not a Nascar fan

Jossie Rivera

I love Childress Vineyards. The place is so beautiful and the wine is awesome. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Dorys Jimenez

Favorite place. We loved it. The wines were excellent. Very good Costumer service. Food was delicious. All the green was perfect. We were a group of friends and we had a great time there. We learned about the process and how they make wine.

James Eran Barnes

Amazing food. I had the Ruben. Top notch! The chocolate tort was incredible. So rich it could easily be shared by two. Make reservations! They have limited seating. Friendly staff. The views are superb.

Coggins Family

The Bistro used to be one of my favorite places to eat until I was treated like an outcast during my last visit. We didn’t have a reservation, but I was told there were only three parties ahead of mine, so I decided to wait. We waited for an hour and I watched in disgust as dozens of other families were seated. I also noticed plenty of empty tables, but when I asked about them, I was told (and with an annoyed expression) that they (the hostess) wanted to give the wait staff a break and so I would have to continue to wait to be seated. It honestly felt like they wanted me to leave, but I had already waited so long and was hungry, so I stayed. Finally at around 2 o’clock I was seated for lunch. It was the most bizarre experience. I will definitely take my business elsewhere from now on.

Ruth Lind

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Bistro. Service could not have been more attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. We'll definitely go back!

Niambi Waterwalker

Service was ok. The Wine "Sweet Blush Wine Muscadine" was great. I came for a birthday party. But waiting on food and glasses to drink the wine was simply ridiculous.

Hayden Caldwell

One of my favorite vineyards. Be sure to get the dessert truffle with the edible flowers. It's OUTSTANDING.

Russ Tharp

We were in town visiting friends and thought we would stop in for a tasting. We went to purchase our tasting and were told to sit at this table and someone would be right with us. A half hour later I asked the cashier and when someone was going to be with us. She was confused and thought we already bought our tickets. So I purchased our tickets and sat back down at the table. 40 min. later, we are still sitting at the table and everyone that came in after us were served. Asked for my money back and the manager didn't even appologise. He didn't even ask why we were asking for our money back. I understand that they are busy but the lack of coustomer apprectiation is a shame. We will most likely be back in town in the next year but we will not visit Childress again.

J Culler

Bayou & Bluegrass. It's ok. This event doesn't seem to be planned well. Very little, overpriced, under seasoned food. More speakers to cover all seating areas would sound better. Beautiful place! Well maintained with a nice ambiance around the pavilion.

Vicki Bailey

Food was awesome! Service was incredible!! The wine tasting was so fun and the young lady that did the wine tasting was wonderful!!!! Had a great visit and we'll be back!!!

jonathan lawson

I've been to 3 wineries today. This was by far my favorite. Great wines, hospitality was great, and the gift shop was amazing.

michael benson

I'm not a wine person but I took some visiting friends here. We took the tour and we all enjoyed it. One of my friends did a tasting and bought a bottle. Like I said, I'm not a wine person but I bought a cheaper bottle of sweet wine just to try it and it was very good.
