No kids allowed sign really cuts out a major portion of your potential cliental and has turned me off for any future visits with or without them. I have been here several times in the past while visiting family in West Jefferson and enjoyed it. Happened to walk by yesterday with with my son and wanted to step in to grab a beer while everyone else went to the coffee shop, but we were greeted with this sign on the door. This would be very bad for business where we live since there are many young parents that would love to spend their money at a beer and wine shop. Ohh this was at 4pm, not like a "no one under 21" after 8 or 9 type thing to avoid underage consumption. Ohh well, it's a free country but just a heads up to any parents looking for a beer visiting the area.

Great place to get local wines and Cider. You ca get Molly Chomper Cider here even with the Chomper Tap room is not open in Lansing, NC. Have to be over 18 to even enter.

A wonderful store worth a stop to have a wine tasting or just a glass of wine. There is a huge assortment of great wines there to purchase, along with some great beers. The staff is very courtious and nice to talk with to find out about wines. My wife and I like to stop there during the day to take a break from shopping through all of the art stores in West Jefferson.

We had a great experience here with the wine tasting and the selection of craft beers on tap. The owners are very pleasant and just so happen to live in the same development we rented our cabin. brought home a six pack of the Downtown Brown. I highly recommend stopping by.
