Great selection, open on weekdays (every day actually if memory serves), and until 2am on Mondays which is extremely helpful because of my work schedule, and tasty selections at several different price points (had a neuf-du-pape that was really good). The small plates are shockingly small for the money -- $10-12 for literally four dates; but you live and learn with that. The atmosphere -- it was quiet enough to read or talk without shouting -- the location, the wine selection (and whiskey which I took a gander at but didn't order from), and the convenience of the hours will see me a repeat customer.

Love this little gem. Bartenders are sweet and very attentive. Great at talking if you are alone. Very nice rustic, dimly lit vibe. A favorite of mine in williamsburg.

Walked by a million times and finally came in for a glass of a very delectable pinot noir. They treated us well even though it wasn't our first drink of the night... Would definitely come back. I imagine it'd be great for an easy date or a drink after work.

This intimate unpretentious wine bar is an amazing find. The friendly bartender kept our drinks coming (even when we didn't order them). There was a nice family with two well-behaved little kids at the bar ordering sliders (which are surprisingly cheap) and French fries with truffle aioli. It's a great place to go alone with a book or with a small group of friends. Also: free popcorn!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat before going to the movies. We got the carafe of wine for $24 which was a great deal and the wine was delicious (we had the Sangiovese/ Montepulciano). We ordered the flatbread with prosciutto and goat cheese which was also delicious! The bar has a warm cozy feel and the bartender who I think was the manager or owner gave great customer service! We'll definitely be back!

Maybe it was an off night, as it was mentioned to us that the regular bartender wasn't in, and the person that was present said that he didn't know much of anything, so. Yeah. Weird. Service was not great because we felt ignored at first and then like no one could be bothered with us afterwards.

I have known Dan Lathrum, one of the owners, for some time now about 10 years to be exact. He is a very good man and a great bartender. Its rare to walk into a bar/restaurant, find the owner serving drinks to the patrons. It adds a level of service to the experience that people don't forget. The beers are great and the food is very good too. Tommy, the other bar keep is excellent as well and I always enjoy being welcomed to such a friendly environment and watching old American classic movies while hanging with the locals. The other weekend I hosted an event there and they were really excited about that. I got a few films to screen and invited about 20 of my friends to the evening. They were very accommodating and happy to have be invite all my friends to the place. I have been thinking about what I will want to do next as a follow up, but regardless I am pretty sure that Custom will be happy to have me back.

What a very nice place! My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pods hotel next door and came here later in the night and loved it! It was very chill. We loved the low lights and the candles on the tables! It really sets the mood and is very relaxing! We sat by the window so it was nice being able to look outside and watching people stop and looking in cause it looks very romantic from the outside at night! The beer tasted great but we didn’t get a chance to try the food. I’m not a wine person but I’m sure the wine there is amazing. The bartender was very polite. I definitely plan on coming back here in June and I can’t wait!!

Great place to have a drink, talk with friends, and hang out. Plenty of seating and usually not too crowded. The bartenders are very nice and knowledgeable, able to answer questions about the wine, whiskey, and other drinks. Love the James E Pepper whiskey!

It's perfect for a date night. I had the sauvignon blanc which was good (not fantastic, but definitely nice enough to get 2 glasses). It has really cool ceilings, and atmosphere. I went here on a Monday night but it still had a decent amount of people in the bar. Haven't tried the food but it smelled really good. You get free popcorn!

Pork Sausage Flatbread is a party in your mouth... service was wonderful as well with a relaxed, unpretentious vibe. Ambient lighting was so on and every wine a tasted was delish. (No easy feat.) Overall, pleasant and super comfortable experience that I’ll definitely be back for.
