I would give zero star if I could. I was searching for a specific wine everyday and it came on crush wine's website yesterday. My friend physically went to the store and wanted to purchase all 9 btls they had and the owner refused to sell them all. My friend was given only three bottles. He quickly called me to let me know of their inventory so I can get some too. I called and Tom told me he has to call the warehouse to check their stock(?). I brought up that on their website it says they have 9 bottles minus three that my friend just purchased. He then told me if he could give me a call back in an hour. So I went ahead and bought the other six bottles online. Later I got an email from them stating the wines were sold out and they will cancel my order. What liers! Crush wine is known for doing this. I didnt believe it until I experienced it! Edit- After they told me that the wine was sold out, they increased the price of the wine from $48 to $60. Price increase when it is out of stock? really? sigh...

Perfect if you work in midtown and need to get drunk in the middle of the day. JUST KIDDING. 3pm... JK JK but seriously 4:15.... Good selection and happy friendly service when you've got a "job" to do. Which is definitely NOT drinking at work ever at all not even a little...

Excellent wine and liquor store. Everytime I am there the staff is knowledgeable about the wines and very helpful. Any time I have questions about wines and needing a good recommendations for the meal I'm preparing they have never let me down. Also if you buy enough wine there you may get invited to their champagne tasting party at Christmas. We got loaded on some really great champagne then bought a case of it. Maybe you should buy sober. Thanks Crush for your continued great service.

BEST WINE SHOP IN NY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s not obvious from outside but this is one of the top wine retailers in NY, with many rare and hard to find bottles - and even some old vintages. Markups are medium to high but there are often some exceptional values to be found. The staff is extremely knowledgable. Burgundy selection is particularly good. Note that I found that their website did not seem to be reliably synced up with the physical inventory - if you are looking for a specific bottle, call ahead.

If I could, I wouldn't even give this place one star but in order to post a review, I must. This place is ridiculously pretentious and snobby! Extremely poor client services that I've seen in my 17 years of living in the city. The staff (including the manager) is in desperate need of training in dealing with simple financial transactions/procedures and professional demeanor when it comes to client services. They treated us like second class citizens purely based on our attire. And on top of that, due to their non-functioning credit card machine, they acted as though the denied transaction was not a surprise since of course, people who roll up in gym clothes simply can't have money and wouldn't buy wine (by the way, we made purchases just before entering the shop so we know the problem is not on our end). So I'm sure a lot of people say they never write reviews and such, but I honestly do not because I am genuinely lazy when it comes to things like these. However, this experience I had today was more than compelling to do so. To those who work at Crush, you need to adjust your attitude when handling clients and not judge people by their clothing and ultimately, do your jobs better.

We were there last Saturday and we had a blast!!!!!!!! the place lookes great and I'm really so greatfull we have somewhere to hang out. It's not cheap to get in, I payed 50 dollars and got a bracelette for free drinks and V.I.P room, but it was worth it, Tony Yayo was hot on stage and it was Hip Hop, Regaeton and dance all night. I was there a couple of Fridays ago and it was really slow, we talked to the owner and he gave us free passes and told us to come back on a saturday. This is now the third Saturday we come, and we all love it!

Check out their events - really enjoyed the one I just attended. Great selection with prices on average about $5 lower than most. Don't let the fancy exterior deter you.

My husband and I visited Scotland and sipped some excellent scotch that rarely makes it's way across the water. But an internet search located out favorite, Port Charlotte PC6 by Bruichladdich at CRUSH. While in a NY hotel, I called Crush and had the bottle delivered straight to my hotel. Fabulous selection, fabulous service.

Never again. After buying a lot of wine, Aperol and other spirits at this place over the years, I'm done with Crush. The cause? Yesterday's disgusting experience with an obnoxious, snide, bald guy there. (I mention bald only to identify him - I'm bald too). Q: Do you have an inexpensive, nice Vino Verde at $10 or under? A: We have the same thing from Spain, although the grape is different. Price is $15. (Same thing? Different grape, different country.) Q. Do you have an inexpensive rose? A. (Shows rose that has no price marked.) Q. How much is it? A. $15 and change. Q. What is the actual price? A. $15 and change. Q. How much change? A. (goes to check at register, rolling eyes and laughing derisively.) So I put the bottles I had already selected on the counter and walked out, never to return. Evidently Crush now doesn't welcome people who want to shop below the store's inflated price points. How this place survives with so much competition nearby is amazing. Tip: Venerable Sherry-Lehman's is just a few blocks away at Park and 59. Courteous, professional service regardless of price. And yes they have plenty of nice wines in the $10 and under price range!
