It’s cold outside but it’s warm in the heated area with wine at the City Winery. Lucas, our waiter, was super warm and guided our wine tasting and food tasting (the short rib tacos were amazing!!!). We highly recommend City Winery.

Great spot for wine or a drink. Smallish food menu, wasn't blown away with cheese plate... But next time going to try some other things. I'd recommend making a reservation, because upstairs deck tends to get crowded.

Drinks were on the menu this evening; the variety is similar to any other bar. The Strawberry Forever and Mango Spritz started the evening. Although super popular, the mango drink was OK. I definitely favored the fruity strawberry drink. The Long Cool Flower was also bitter and not as satiating but fortunately the Band on the Rum was delicious.

Perfect location, beautiful view, and delicious food! To be honest, I didnt expect much for food here but my croquet madame was a killer!! Our server Brian was super attentive, he kept checking on our cocktail to make sure it doesn't get too warm under the sun. Highly recommend, especially on a nice summer day :)

Horrible experience on a Sunday afternoon. I brought two of my girlfriends here after having lunch at Grand Banks and we were informed that the rooftop didn’t open until 1pm, by a bar tender who must have been having a bad day given his rude tone, though the sign clearly said 12pm at the front. Fine. We go to have a drink at the bar instead, which is not crowded, and the same bartender ignores us until we ask for a drink menu. After taking a moment to decide, we order something and he says bluntly “we are out of that”. He didn’t offer an alternative and looked annoyed that we now didn’t know what to order. The entire experience just brought the day down and we chose to go to a different bar instead. I have been here before for different events and had a wonderful time, but this experience left a sour taste in my mouth.

Beautiful views! However, I went on Memorial Day weekend and the bartenders upstairs literally took my order without saying 2 words. Pointed to me, I ordered, dropped my 2 drinks, took my money and brought my change without so much as a hello or a smile! My wine (and I drink any kind) was not good at all. So after that round we left to go back to a bar further up the Hudson with much friendlier staff and a better drink selection! I wasn’t impressed and won’t be back!

This place was great. My husband and I came around 5pm on a Friday (July 4th weekend) and it was busy but we were still seated promptly. Lucas was our waiter and he was very attentive and even suggested stuff from the menu for us to try, which we were very happy with. We ordered a half dozen oysters and the seafood paella, which were both very delicious! I would definitely come back here and bring my friends. There’s also a great view of the skyline of Jersey City from the patio and rooftop.

Wonderful evening at City Vineyard. Great location. Came with three of my girlfriends and were early for our reservation but they still seated us ahead of time. Food was delicious and our server Brian was very attentive to the table. I recommend trying the mushroom risotto balls.

NYC has so many spots to choose that you can get lost in the myriad of options. The scene here is packed with sights, drinks, fads, and so forth. City Vineyard is definitely part of this but City Vineyard is situated on Pier 26 which was convenient as it was next to the Downtown Boathouse Club which sponsors free kayaking in the summer / fall. Drinks were on the menu this evening; the variety is similar to any other bar. The Strawberry Forever and Mango Spritz started the evening. Although super popular, the mango drink was OK. Rooftop access begins at 400 and offers beautiful views of the Hudson and a towering view of One World Trade. The upstairs bar only offers wines and beers. It gets packed as the evening progresses. Tip: No Happy Hour and drinks range from 10 to 20 bucks. If you're looking for an inexpensive experience you need to head somewhere else.

Wow truly amazed at their service never have I enjoyed all three course meals .. I have to dedicate this review to the chef who made my fiancé and I very satisfied customers. We will definitely be going there again. The waiter was also very attentive and happy which also made it a better experience for us. I have to say this is a must eat at restaurant and let’s not forget the location of this place stunning views of the city. Great job guys you have two satisfied customers here ! One time I ran up the stairs of the one World Trade Center for charity for our heroic first responders. It was hard. Then I stumbled into City Vineyard and met my girl, Flor. Flor is a server at City Vineyard and revived my lifeless and exhausted body with her vibrant smile. Also the cocktails helped. I slowly defeated my flatline with the help of Flor, cocktails, and the insanely delicious chicken sandwich. If you had to walk up some stairs and it kinda hurt, come see Flor. She’s gonna fix you up. I recommend the chicken sandwich or the French toast. Both are memorable.

Recommended by some colleagues and came by on a Monday night. Very pleasant terrace! Come by before 7pm to do walk ins before it gets crowded! Good for big groups too. Flor was very kind to us from the beginning and at the end when we had a slight issue(minor), she addressed it very kindly and timely. Definitely coming back!

Great little Saturday afternoon here, brunch by the water was a great time. Beware that the restaurant gives people a free glass of champagne if you leave a review and mention your server by name. So don't be surprised that all the reviews with a server mentioned by name are just fluff written to get a free drink. Food was decent, with tasty cocktails, and jazz going in the background. A little on the expensive side, but to be expected for waterfront in Manhattan.

Had high expectations for lunch on a muggy day. Unfortunately food was fair (I can't say anything was great nor can I say anything was not good), however the service was BAD. We probably waited 10 minutes to even have someone come over to our table and did have to ask several times for water (and ice which they don't serve standard). The food took a while to come out as well and all came out at different times so the 4 of us were pretty much eating at different times. They do have a kids menu but because of the very unorganized and slow service I would not recommend going with kids.

If your going for dinner they close the restaurant midday. And start at 4:30pm serving dinner. A bit pricey place however the atmosphere is very nice. Two story, first level restaurant second level bar. The food was delicious. You pay you get.

Its nice being outside on the river but a tourist trap. Didn't use to be this way. Bartenders not that friendly n some just standing around. Automatically charge u $1 per drink as tip. I'm not a tourist n choose to leave my own tip. Doubt I'll be back. So many other great places outside on the Hudson River to choose from.

Never heard of this place and first time visitor because a work related private event. Simply gorgeous place with wonderful views for Hudson River, walking distance of about 10 minutes from Brookfield Mall, 20 minutes from Chinatown. They have both inside and outside seating and a rooftop. Browsed the menu but did not have a chance to order from it because of a private event. Finger food are tasty and hot buffets of pasta, chicken, prime ribs were delicious, and the honey lavender cheese cake just made the happy me!

The venue really can't be beat. It's the best view of the Hudson you'll get without being on a boat. Having said that the service here is consistently a fail. The waitress can generously be described as despondent. 30 mins just to get drinks? The good news is you won't spend a lot because no one is around to take your order.

It is a fun place. Very crowded over the summer weekend as expected. We were there for brunch. burgers were ok. Pizzas taste better. Overpriced drinks, of course it is Manhattan. We seated outside, had a nice view. There is live music barely you can hear it. Too noise. Long lines for restrooms.

Been here a few times now. Amazing location on the water! They have rosé on tap, delicious food, and excellent service! The rooftop is perfect for day drinking and has beautiful sunset views. I’ve had the Margherita pizza, the French toast, and the French omelet on separate occasions. All great! Thanks for a great customer experience Flor!

Me and my best friend came here and really enjoyed our experience. Great place to stop for a drink along the Hudson. This is always our “destination” on walks. If you get Brian as your server you at in for a treat! So attentive and nice. I got the burger my friend got the croque madam.

Flor was a really attentive server! We were a party of 9 and was seated within 10 minutes of arriving, even though the place was packed. Great food, but mostly seafood options. Gorgeous views, with indoor and outdoor seating.

Great location, and great food. Went, and waited over an hour for two flatbreads and was eventually brought a random one to hold us over... HOWEVER - they owned up to the wait, apologized, and took them off the bill, while still serving them to us. That's all you can ask for. Will absolutely go back.

I went to City Vineyard for the last night I was in New York for my birthday “Grand Finale.” The manager, Alexandria found out it was my birthday and truly made it special and a “Grand Finale” to remember! There were two of my friends from Long Island who joined me and we can’t stop talking about the excellent service from Alexandria, Brian and Autumn. The whole team is clearly following her leadership because, each of them just rolled out the red carpet for us. The salmon we ordered with roasted cauliflower was so delicious! I am craving more now that I’m back home in Florida. I will definitely be going back to City Vineyard the next time I’m in New York. Alexandria, Brian and Autumn please have my table ready outside because, I’m sure I’ll receive great service even when it’s not my birthday. The ambiance was also wonderful! It’s definitely a great place to go and watch the sunset over the water.

I had a wonderful dining experience at City Vineyard. The outdoor area is beautiful during sunset! Its spacious and doesn't feel overcrowded during popular hours. Service was great by our waitress Flor! She was attentive and always checked on us to make sure we were ok. Food and drinks came out promptly. We got the salmon and the Margherita flatbread was delicious!
