REVIEWS OF Amelie IN New York

Andrea

Nice, quaint restaurant with good food and service! Their menu has a good variety of options and affordable prices :)

Susan Zetscha

Fun, very French wine bar. So many items on the menu that are quintessentially French. Escargot, steak tartare, fois Gros.... it's like a little trip to Paris.

Yasin Ali

Nice atmosphere, super nice staff, and good selection of wines.

Benjamin Black

Love their flight of wine deal, three samples for the price of one large glass.

Chris Ramnarain

Food is very appealing to the taste buds. Service is excellent. Wish the tables had some more space.

Megan Harris

Probably the worst steak tartare I've had in my life, tasted like they used ketchup in it. Drinks were fine, server mostly ignored us.

Keith W

Lovely French bistro in the village.

Vicky Song

Been here twice for happy hour. Loved it my first time, however on my second visit, I was charged non-happy hour prices. The bartender apologized for the error, but asked me to pay on incorrect prices anyways. I paid for the convience and because I was in a time crunch, but I havent been back since and I'm not sure if I'll be returning.

rudy rude

Great selection of wine and great food as well..cozy place

David Mathurin

The food, the environment, the staff were good. I had a great time and i will come back in the future

Ofhir Levine

Great prices for happy hour flights

Andre Rohe

Good wine list lots of them by the glass

T E

The wine knowledge all the servers have here is incredible! Tiny, dimly lit, and with charm galore...this place is a perfect getaway spot within the bustling city. The receipt comes in beautiful old paperbacks and the copious wine menu is designed to look like the selections on old records. The wine flight during Happy Hour is not to be missed. Oh...and the steak here is pretty divine as well!!!

JoAn Tolosa

Great for happy hour. Food and wine are awesome so was the service.

Chuck Shehadi

Very good French food. Would give it 5 stars, but the wine offering was weak.

Omri Ben-Zvi Goldblum

Food was ok and price was not justified. Almost no vegetarian options. Aweful service. Very loud

Josh Zhao

Great food and service! The foie gras was awesome for those who like it.

PBD

Great place with nice wines and fresh dishes

Olivia Cooper

Happy hour has awesome deals! Burrata is absolutely delicious. Service in all aspects was phenomenal with everyone in the restaurant, not just our server. Amazing music, peaceful atmosphere. I wish I lived in NYC so I could visit more often!

patricia mansley

Great food. Nice wine samplers. Upbeat and happy vibe

kirsten sonnenberg

Standard little French Cafe with lots of natural light and easy going ambiance. Nice choice of salads. I especially enjoyed the Kale salad. Came with a big basket of bread on the table and didn't have to ask for it, which I always appreciate. They didn't rush us out the door and made us feel comfortable enough to sit and enjoy eating slowly, especially for Sunday brunch rush. Bloody Mary was delicious and BIG!

Joe Espineira

Eric is a great bartender. Come for the excellent French food at excellent prices, stay for the friendly and personal service. Would recommend 10/10 times.

Won Hong

We loved the wine flights. Duck and beef tartar highly recommend.

Gelin Ramirez

Tha place was homy. A good venue to meet up with friends. Food was fine. I had a taste of thier tuna pasta and a taste of bolognese sphagetti and a mango crepe for dessert.

Erik K

Really nice spot for great drinks and small plates. Great recommendations from staff but they provide European style service (you have to track them down for more drinks or the check).

Lazaro Fuentes

Great place. Food is consistently tasty. The crowd is hip.

Todd DiScala

Bustling with good wine, good energy, and a fun staff. Great classic French food.

Kaylee Kolditz

This is a place I return to again and again. I love to bring folks who've not been and every time they love it too. I always ask the waiter for recommendations for a wine flight and then enjoy the three wines they select. The food is also really good. Fun atmosphere. People here just seem happy to be together and enjoy good wine. That's quite French!

Matthew Manning

Amazing deal. Wi es are average but a lot of great options.

Jessica Scranton

Excellent food. It is very busy and service is maybe a bit lacking because of this. But it is beautifully presented french food

Meaghan Frank

The best date night dinner you will ever go on in NYC! The best French Cuisine I have ever had. Outstanding wine selection. Beyond delicious foods. Perfect serving sizes for sharing as well. Only flaw is that they do not take reservations (hence why I’m baffled by a previous one star post?) I absolutely love going to Amelie’s when I travel to NYC and you will too!!

Jane

Food was great. But the place can be crowded

Richard Marcos

Awesome ambiance. Good food. Great wine

Waiton Farrell

Best place for a champagne birthday evening. You can also go there just because. They won’t judge you. Promise

Sebastien Duc

Solid wine choice. The bread is super good. They serve great french/Mediterranean style food.

Tobias Robinson

The happy hour here is very good. You have to wait until late in the afternoon before they start serving food though.

Diane Johnson

We had a great time here. Very crowded and busy, but the cheese and meat boards were great. I love chicken liver pate, and theirs was wonderful. Great place for a date night!

Alon Mor

Great spot. Great deals for happy hour

Nooshin N

Great spot. Amazing food. We didn’t have reservations but they managed to get us a seat. Definitely worth a try. The octopus and the trout were to die for.

latefa redjouh

Best wine bar in the city! Best date place as well actually. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and always have a nice word to their customers. Amélie has been my spot for years to the point where I even drop by their NYC location when I am in town. Their wine selection is to die for and the bartender will always recommend something for your taste. Definitely recommend this place.

Harlan Donaldson

I tried this spot once with a friend and I am obsessed ever since. I enjoyed the awesome atmosphere and delicious food and beverages. Fantastic work.

Ryan C

This place is worth trying. They have big portions for affordable rates. Constantly well kept and with good vibes. Will come back again.

Laith Elkurd

Meal was quite good. The creekstone hand cut steak tartar was fine, if a little over-seasoned. The steak frites were tasty, but the salmon was (somehow) the star of the show. Cooked medium rare with a well chosen supporting cast. Service was also good. All in all a solid spot, nothing spectacular. Nice place to take a date in that area.

Krystin Haser

Great deal on a flight of wine during happy hour. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Three wine glasses for $12 before tax.

shani greenstein

Great food, environment and wine. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Make sure to make a reservation as it's very difficult to get a table without one. There is a wide variety of French food such as cheese, escargot and other French dishes. The wine list is simple superb, they also have a great happy hour offering of wine flutes for 12$. This is a great place to hangout with friends, have an after work drink or celebrate a special occasion. I'll definitely be coming back here!

Jill Chen

Too noisy... Almost have to scream at my friend... Food is good, escorgot and duck breast.

Melvin Johnson

The wine flights are great and cheap during happy hour.

michelle bolo

Loved the wine flights for happy hour. They were very crowded but service was still attentive and didnt have to wait long for a table. Cheese board was on point with lots of sides like grapes, jams, honey, and dried fruits. Also enjoyed the smoked salmon and creamed fraiche crostini.

Efrat Petel

Great for happy hour very professional service small quiet and the food is so tasty

Frank O.

The staff, esp our server, (who said he was from Paris!) the wine, & food pairings, ambience, trés excellent!, & snow falling outside, all made for a memorable dinner. Going back. Tricky finding it.

Walter Avalos

Food was great and so was the staff. Very authentic French but the place is just a modern bar. I took my Girlfriend there because Google said it's "romantic" but Gangster rap and loud club music say otherwise. Good wine, and they offer wine flights which I will have to return for. The endless bread is to die for.

Robin Fox

I got the mussels and it was really good. I usually don't get seafood at restaurant but I made an exception and it did not let me down. Best part, if you dip the bread in the soup that the mussels come in, it tastes great! We love a good life hack. The wine tasted pretty similar, my friends were getting hints of smoke and cherry but I was getting wasted (or planned to). It also comes with French fries but not enough dip for them.

B Wilks

I've only been here once, but it was perfect. The food is amazing and even though the dishes were quite small, I underestimated how full I became after only eating half of the dish. Atmosphere-wise, I couldn't have been more satisfied. Very elegant and beautiful. The service was exquisite and the drinks were delicious! I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend to my family and friends!

Nicolás Corthorn Errázuriz

Excellent food and service

Kimberly Worsham

Really tasty brunch omelet!

Christine

Had a great brunch here. The charcuterie was great. I wish my steak would've been seasoned a little better. It was a tad bland. Everything else was very good. My cocktail was very good. The servers are very attentive and personable. They were chatting with regulars and were making an effort to get to know new customers.

Nick Grimes

Fantastic French food! The salads and appetizers are well sized and priced, while the entrees are a bit overpriced. Everything is delicious and authentically French! Most of the staff is French, too. Highly recommended!

Rosa Chavez

Very nice place to meet a friend and catch up for lunch. I definitely recommend. Loved their food.

Leela Prabhu

Very nice wines, appetizers and not too expensive! We came here twice- both times we tried their spicy flight. The salmon tartarine appetizer was pretty good. Their roast cauliflower was good but not as good as the salmon. We tried their specials the next time. The side bread was surprisingly good (why give fresh good bread for free?) The staff is very friendly, the wait is usually not too long- but there's not much space to stand while waiting.

Sean Henry Miller

Waiter seemed distracted and not friendly. Food was good, nothing to write home about. Haricots verts were great. Good prices on food and wine for the city. Cheap 3 glass wine flight. Cool decor.

Jon-Paul Berexa

Delicious food and great wine. Decent prices and capable service.

Mahrokh Moknatian

We tried their happy hour wine menu + a cheese plate and loved it!

Catherine Jenkins

This place defines the term "good ambiance." Amazing service, wine, food everything. I feel like I'm in some sort of frenchie heaven here. Oh, and don't let the beef tartar intimidate you. Calling it incredible would be an understatement.

Rodrigo Arb de Castro

Amazing place, great wines, delicious food and good service!

Emma Wallace

Amazing atmosphere, great wine, fantastic food. Bring good company

Edwin Lee

Food is really good, one of the best steaks I've had in a very long time. The place is super popular and packed so the service is affected by it. Not enough staff to be attentive to everyone so had to wait a long time to get water, get our orders and get the check. The food is really the winner here so if you don't mind slow service, then worth checking out!

Davey Singleton

Foie Gras Really enjoyed the foie gras, probably my favorite dish. It's so rich and creamy it tastes like butter. Great combination with the sauce and apricots on toast. The burrata was very good, tasted so fresh. Huge ball of cheese goes well with the salad, oil, and herbs. Great with the french bread. Escargot is one of my favorite french dishes. These were cooked well, but I was a little surprised how sweet they were. However, I usually think of escargot as a garlic butter delivery device.

Matin Soeizi

My friend and I went there earlier in the evening, so it wasnt packed which was really nice! Staff were all really nice and helped us with a big smile on their face. The cheese platter was cute and yummy

Cissy Yuan

Interesting take on Eggs benedict, it was soaked in wine which was very delicious!

Paul Langlais

Awesome wine bar

Matthew Hesson-McInnis

We started with the warm goat cheese ball with caramelized onions, which was delightful. The duck confit was delectable, and the steak aux poivre was passable but nothing special. Lovely drinks, and competent service, if somewhat slow.

Julian Wheatland

Great wine, great food, great atmosphere. Combine that with friendly staff and you have a winning recipe!

Jonathan Oustaev

Came here for a lunch but their kitchen wasn’t open so I just had some cheese and meat before their kitchen opened and it was phenomenal. Definitely going to have the wine with cheese next time but highly recommend it.

Sean Ginevan

Amelie is a charming bistro and wine bar with fantastic renditions of french classics like coq au vin, salmon tartare, steak with shallots, charcuteries, cheese and more. They have a superb wine list by the glass to suit nearly any taste and a knowledgeable, predominantly french staff to help navigate the list. Worth a visit!

Dilan Dundar

The service is friendly and the ambiance is very cute. I came on my own last Thursday and came with a friend again yesterday! They have $12 flights during happy hour (from open till 7pm everyday). You can either choose from a pre-designed flight of 3 wines or build your own (try the Sand Point Cabernet, it's divine). The bartenders are fairly well-versed in wine and willing to help you with your choices. The appetizers are delicious, the pistachio crusted goat cheese is PHENOMENAL. The menu is attached to an old record cover and the check is brought out inside of an old book. Can't wait for my next visit! <3

Krishna Haridas

Loved our Sunday brunch. Favorites of the day include ratatouille and almond crusted cheese ball. The ambience of the place is probably more suited to dinner than brunch coz it came across as lackluster in the daylight. Make sure to get here only after a reservation. There was a rush even at 3pm on Sunday.

Buzze Hendrix

Great ambience, helpful and friendly staff, amazing wine list and good food.

Alexander Rizsk

Place is amazing super lit very popular we don't want there on a Wednesday and there was quite a bit of wait but I didn't wait long as the manager has everything under control it was expediting people being seated promptly. They have great wine selection and the crowd is very young and trendy, I definitely would recommend this place to anyone I was looking for great wine and a great time. They also have a menu and a very intricate food selection. The place is french but the food didn't speak so much french. It was certainly American fusion. But I loved it and the people are great and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable about all the wines and food served. I definitely recommend it for a bite and a good time.

Steffany Malarik

Amazing happy hour, cute interior, and solid food selection.

Sylvan Perez

Solid, voluminous wine list with recognizable producers, a few rare gems and excellent value. A rounded, well written menu, high quality food made attentively and precisely with high quality, fresh ingredients. Good specials and great service.

Chelsea Weldon

Felt like I was in Paris! Awesome little French bistro. They had a great wine flight deal for HH, amazing french bread and a classic french menu. The duck confiet was incredible it was so tender and practically fell off the bone.

Настя Мизецкая

It was quite busy and we didn’t get enough attention from a server but the food was great, especially pate

Caroline Hardesty

I asked for a pinot noir and the bartender poured a taste without even telling me which one it was. I tried to ask and he got snippy about it. I ordered my food and he tried to correct me on the pronunciation of "haricot verts" to "hairy coverts." Really? Is this NYC or Tennessee? My mother is a french-trained chef. I'm certain I know the correct pronunciation of the term. What a joke this place is! They clearly only get business from tourism.

Guillaume Lesueur

As a Frenchman this will sound obvious but... Yes this place is really worth the try! They have a nice selection of cheese and charcuterie, and the wine list is also pretty complete. The menu is broad: duck confit, onion soup, snails (yes!) and oysters as well. The classic steak and fries is also in there. Oh and if you never tried this... Have a plate of ravioles de Romans (it's like pasta). This is very typical of Rhone region and it was the first time I had some in the US, delish!!

Meaghan Alexander

Stumbled upon this place walking towards the path. Unbelievable service! Unbelievable wine and wine flights (amazing price) and delicious cheeses. I had the Fabio flight. Absolutely will be returning. The space is tight but its not too loud and there is certainly enough room for everyone.

Yana Taran

We loved this little place. The wine was exquisite, the food was delicious and the service was superb. Definitely recommend.

Salman Faridi

Beautiful ambiance and great selection of wines! The place was packed and finding a seat took awhile, but absolutely worth the wait. Happy hour gives an option to select 3 different combination of wines, each with a distinct taste. A fun experience overall!

Abhishek Sheshadri

The goat cheese ball is one of my favorite food items in the city. Their happy hour deals are very good.

Julia S

Good food, wine flights, nice cozy atmosphere and service.

Vijaysooryanath R

Very good food and nice service.

Joy McKinley

Cute little wine bar. Great vibe. Very warm and comfortable. And their wine tasting flute option is an amazing steal! $12 for three healthy glasses of delicious Wine! It's a place for small plates so I wouldn't go to eat a large meal. But it's perfect to get the night started. Very busy around 6/7. Reservations encouraged.

Bradley Jones

A night to remember. After experiencing a stroll through Washington square and surrounding area listening to ghost stories of old a quick nipple to bring me back into the land of the living was required. Easy to be impressed by just wine, Amelie out did themselves with mouth watering wood; a charcuterie platter and Chicken Liver Mousse à la Poire topped with a wonderful Gamay made for an evening of light nibbles. This food is meant to be savored slowly. A great stop to recharge on a cool damp evening.

Tony Mou

Great French restaurant! Good atmosphere and decor. Food selection is excellent as well. We had the liver mousse, fried goat cheese ball, cod brandade, and the duck leg confit. Every dish was fantastic! The liver mousse was quite light on the palate but rich in flavor without an overpowering liver taste. The fried goat cheese ball was a good mixture of textures between the creamy cheese and the crunchy pistachio exterior. The cod brandade was richly salty but too overly so. Lastly the duck leg confit was a perfect blend of crispy skin, tender meat, and delicate sides that paired well with the duck.

David Stevens

Amazing food! Great drinks! I had the berry good and the Duck Confit. It was superb. They do reservations through Yelp

Anthony Esposito

Good food! Good wine selection!

Natalie Bryt

Delicious wine at a great price in a cute, French setting

Sean Bert

Modern but comfortable and romantic space. Wife had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked and lightly, but effectively, seasoned. I had the ravioli, which was delicious; incredibly rich and savory. Waiter recommended perfect glasses of wine to pair with each dish. The complimentary bread served with the meal was great, too. Service was incredibly fast. Our entrees were served to us 17 minutes after we sat down (I remember because I checked my watch when the plates came out!), though keep in mind that we didn't order any appetizers. Waiter recommended the chocolate lava cake for dessert. It was much lighter than I expected; I was hoping for something a bit richer and sweeter. But my wife, who loves dark chocolate, couldn't get enough of it. I'm giving Amelie a fifth star because, on top of the great food and awesome service, the prices are very very reasonable by Manhattan standards. Highly recommended. The city has so many great restaurants, so we rarely consider going back to a restaurant we've already tried, but I'm looking forward to going back to Amelie.

Estefany Zayas

Amazing happy hour!! Great staff and ambience.

Karl

Very nice vibe and decor, food was excellent! Tables are a little small but nonetheless I had a great time here. Merci!

Luyi Zhang

Chicken liver is delicious! Also try the happy hour wine tasting, worth the price.

Zach Smith

My favorite french wine bar. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and the staff is great at pointing you in the right direction based on your wine preferences. It is a little tight but once the escargot comes out, I see nothing but deliciousness and forget about the fact that my thigh is rubbing against my neighbor's.

Emily De Vito

Good wine, good vibe, not crazy loud which is always a huge plus and the food was pretty good! I recommend it for a cute dinner date spot but definitely make reservations because it gets packed.

Andrew Warren

It’s my wife’s and my go-to place for brunch, dinner or just a glass of great wine. Not a week goes by without us being there at least twice. It’s our favorite spot and that’s saying a lot since we live in the Village and go out often.

Alejandro Martínez

Simply amazing. The food is delicious and the wine selection is huge. The French staff is really warm and friendly. I needed a place to work in the early afternoon and, although it's not usual for them, they found a way to accommodate me and make me feel comfortable. Totally recommend coming here for its quality and charm! Great option for brunch as well!

Savannah Rizk

Absolutely amazing place! They have a happier hour that runs before the dinner rush that is just great. Expect to pay up a little for this wonderfully delightful restaurant with cute little nuances that set the charm of this place apart. Flights are great and the salmon costini was our favorite.

aaron hooley

Good wine selection and friendly staff

Txolcoli by the glass. Need I say more?

Best salad ever and good wine selection

Dianna Chou

Wine flights - 3 glasses for half/third sized glasses of wine. $12 during happy hour. $16 during dinner time. A very nice deal - you can pick any wines on the menu or from the preset. Charcuterie: - Pepper crusted pate - very tasty. - Smoked duck breast - nice with a good smokey flavor. - Copa, sopressata and prosciutto were fine. Came with 4 little jars of condiments - caramelized onions, vinegary mustard, butter, tiny pickles. They were all very good Cheese: - Brie very soft, machego not bad either medium stiff slices - Kunik - goat cheese on bottom, slightly different flavor, less strong, more nuanced - Grayson - raw milk - a soft, mild cheese Apps: - Dates with prochutto blue cheese, and bacon and almond - Goat cheese ball on bed of caramelized onion - Foie gras - very creamy, came with some frisee and balsamic pear garnished on the side. - Escargo - not bad actually - Pate comes with pickle, mustard, purple sauteed onions, grapes - Prosciutto Flat bread - okay, lots of kale and prosciutto - Bacon dates - 3 pieces with a few pieces of frisse - Octopus, cooked nicely with beans paste and crunchy black things - Crab crostini - nice creaminess but not heavy, and came with a side of greens Entree: - Veggie (mushroom) risotto - light dish, not that creamy Unlimited, complimentary bread was slightly warm and very crusty. Service: - Our waiter was very good in helping us choose wine to pair with our food. - Very friendly staff Ambiance: - Gets very crowded. There weren't free seats at 10pm on a Friday. - Fun, modern decor - They have some high tops of 6 which may be shared with other parties. - Reservations reccomened

Diane Dees

Lavish selection of food. Very enchanting room with the dim lights and all. All the positive reviews were true. Not a single bad thing. Amazing food. A little bit noisy but if you're quite on that mood, you can join the noise. Our server was very charming and quite a joker. Made our night even better.

Lance Fields

Went 4 times on our last visit to NYC. That is my review. Go. Enjoy. Go back again. You're welcome.

Biru Saha

This restaurant is great for brunch! They have a great happy hour menu and the food is amazing. I’ve never had wine poached eggs before and the bread that they give you in potato sacks is absolutely divine. Service was excellent and they’re open late! Thanks for a wonderful meal

nasha nicole

Great little place with nice atmosphere

Michael Robinson

A few of us came here for a lunch. We really wanted to try the croque madame, so we all ended up getting it and it was awesome! We will definitely be coming back for their happy hour wine flights. Great atmosphere and very authentic Parisian cuisine!

Dhruv Sharma

Host didn’t offer us a table, but continued to give it out to people behind us without a reservation after making us wait for 20 minutes. Not sure if he was racist, would request management to give strong feedback

Jo N.

Way overcrowded but very good! Amelie's is always-- hopelessly, noisily, annoyingly overcrowded and cramped! But I just love French food and good wine so I'll deal with it. I've only been here a few times so far (last time for my birthday in March 2018) but the mussels were great and my boyfriend's pork chop was delicious (and he is not a fan of French cuisine or eateries.) The staff was pleasant. I plan to return again and again. (Still have to try the pate' and so much more.) Word to the wise though, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO WITHOUT A RESERVATION!

Eleanor Marks

Went here for happy hour - we got the flight of wines for $12 (which was 4 glasses of wine!) perfect for a date or double date - felt like a very intimate and small bar.

Corine Laplanche

I tried the Burgendy escargots gratines. It was super delicious. I really recommended this place.

Neil Ruggiero

The eggs marinated red wine are amazing. Sit at the bar, get a flight and just enjoy the ambiance. The staff are fantastic. This is great place for weekend brunch or afternoon/work wine meet up.

Kimberly Tan

The food here was excellent however the service was incredibly poor and subpar. My friend and I were seated at a table for 3, we had a reservation for 3 at 5:30 pm. The waiter was very rude and kept interrupting us to say that we had to give up the table if the third person did not come by 6:45. By this time, my friend and I had already ordered quite a substantial amount of wine and food. Again, the waiter kept coming to our table and kept pushing about needing the table. The third person came at 6:40. And he didn't even get to order anything when the waiter came to us and said that he needed the table by 7. The waiter basically forced us out of the table. The waiter lacked manners and was completely unprofessional. DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY HAVE POOR SERVICE.

Keri Garcia

Sweet little wine bar in Soho area. Service was excellent and the food was good, too.

Clifford Kentros

Classic, impeccably prepared French food at a reasonable price. What more can you say?

Steve S

Great hangout. Nice wine flights

Amit Sela

Great food, great wine, service could be better.

Nanny Search

Great food and wine. Nice atmosphere. Staff is friendly but the French waiter I had wasn’t very knowledgable about the wine. You would expect that in a wine bar.

Nikita Sheth

Good food, good vibes and good cocktails

Kaitlin McClamrock

obsessed with Amelie's wine flights. Love this place! The one on the UWS is good too, but this one is so cozy and has a different vibe

Karen C.

Good food but nothing outstanding in my opinion. I ordered the duck thigh dish accompanied with some wine.

Gerome Cabrera

The food was delicious. Ambiance was really nice. The wine samplers are cool as they are categorized by types of wine (i.e. Sampler of Roses). Great place for small groups, couples, or solo dining.

Ameya Bhakay

We had made reservations for a Sunday brunch (11:30 am) and the place wasn't busy at all. We were seated right away and ordered a bottle of Malbec for the table. We placed our order which included a few omelettes and I got the Amélie Lamb Burger ($16) with lettuce wrap. Service was quick and food arrived within 20 mins. Service quality itself wasn't that great. The French speaking staff especially needs some lessons on hospitality. No one checked with us if everything was ok and to our liking. We wanted some hot sauce but no one was paying attention and didn't bother coming to our table in spite if signaling a few servers. Also, when we called for check, they charged us for home fries which was clearly included with omelettes. When we flagged this error, again, the French speaking staff said, that they are not included. Finally, the nice gentleman who was at the bar corrected this error and even apologized for this error. Kind man. Food was ok.. the Lamb Burger had no salt (and guess what, salt wasn't on the table either)! So yeah, felt and looked like very authentic French place!

Suzanne Kavanagh

Loved this place, wandered in on my own to escape a thunderstorm and had a really nice time. The wine flights are great, only $12 for three small, well chosen glasses, and the cheese board was delicious. Nice, friendly service too. Très bien :)

Caroline Acebo

One of the best wine happy hours in NYC. There are eight heavy-pour wine flights to choose from (for just $12) till 7p, plus some of the menu's most popular appetizers. Highly recommend the goat cheese ball. Great for post-work HH with friends or more casual drinks meetings. Super friendly and knowledgeable service. Amelie takes reservations, but book in about 3 to 4 days in advance, just in case.

Roc Belizaire

Delicious food , great wines, great atmosphere excellent date night

Abhra Dasgupta

I loved the service, the ambience and the food. We sat at the bar because the place was packed. The bartender was busy but very friendly and attentive. Service was quicker than expected, and the quality of everything served was great. I felt the cost was very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Will definitely recommend.

Ruth Wallace

You’re perfect. Never change.

Kathy D

Wonderful wine selection and knowledgeable staff. Asked for really dry red and every choice we were given was exactly that. Charcuterie plates were delicious and visually appealing. Bartender was knowledgeable friendly and helpful. My rating is because of the overall experience. Wine good, food good, staff good. You don’t always get all three at one time.

George Stevenson

This place became one of my most favorite places. No words about the wine collection - it was amazing, the kitchen was also very tasty.Waiters were very accurate and smiling.Unlike that the tables were very close to each other,I loved this place very much.
