I cannot say enough great things about Unionville! My wife and I visited over the weekend and not only are the wines delicious, but the staff is very knowledgeable and extremely patient in explaining the different types of wine. They really have a passion for great wines and really know what they are doing. Unionville is a hidden gem, never knew there was such a great winery in NJ! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I love Unionville Vineyards so much we got married there. We have been visiting vineyards across the state and Unionville definitely stands out. The wine is delicious, the grounds are beautiful and the staff incredibly friendly. Everyone had a fantastic time, the only issue was the staff was too efficient at cleaning up unattended wine glasses.

Had a lovely time recently at an engagement party here. Grounds and facilities we're wonderful for the party. Wine was amazing! Gave 4 stars because there were only 2 bathrooms which caused a bit of a wait and floor was uneven in spots which caused me to fall down.

Went yesterday with gf and family to a wine tasting. The sommelier was knowledgeable and friendly. Connor, Tiffant and Theresa were extremely helpful and made the visit seem personal. It was a serene setting with tranquility to spare. There was live music and we all immensely enjoyed our visit. The wines were an experience all on their own, and I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I enjoy Unionville wines immensely. We have spent time at vineyards in Chianti, Napa, Sonoma, and Washington State- and while we have enjoyed good wine in all of those places, we always “come home” to Unionville. It isn’t just good New Jersey wine, it is exceptional wine, period. We have a decently large wine collection and a high volume of our coveted vintages are from Unionville. Additionally, you can’t find a better group of people than at Unionville. From the owners to the tasting room staff, everyone is sincerely passionate about wine. Not only are they all incredibly knowledgeable, they are also willing to share that knowledge with the patrons. They are a down-to-earth group of people that are easy to speak to and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. On top of all of that, the property is just beautiful. They have done some really nice upgrades in recent years, including an event tent with a paver patio; a smaller side patio and driveway lighting that just continues to add to the intrinsic beauty of the property. There are beautiful views of the vines and the surrounding farms from just about every angle. We’ve learned so much and had so much fun over the years at Unionville.

If you love wine and 3000 miles from Napa this is a must see! We opted for the private tour with John the General Manager. We started with a walk through the vineyard for a lesson on grapes and proceeded to our private tasting. John brought out a cheese, jam, chocolate and date plate that would have fed 8 with most delicious local cheeses. We then tasted the many selections and vintage they offer until we had to say stop so we could drive home. I don't think I ever learned as much about wine as I did in those 3 hours.

We had such a fun experience! *** Carlton*** was just amazing! He let us make our own opinions of the wines and honed in on what types we like (full bodied reds). The wines are excellent but the experience was even better. We felt like part of the family! A++ Experience! Will be back very soon!!

Came for a tasting on may 26th with my girlfriend around 4pm. Place was not busy. We paid the 10 bucks each and were sent to wait for one of the men to begin the tasting. I did not catch his name and he was pleasant but we were only able to enjoy 2 out of the 7 offerings due to his lack of attentiveness. We waited 5 minutes between the first two and after another 10 minutes of watching him clean glasses and pack an order we decided we weren't interested in spending an hour to have a few sips of wine. Perhaps their products are good but this review is based solely on the service we were provided.

Unfortunately we left empty handed . We were told by two employees to stand in the 20 minute long “taste testing line” upstairs to buy 2 bottles of Riesling since they were all out downstairs . It’s too bad they don’t have one line for taste testing and one for bottles on the go . So we left without any bottles to bring home .

Went here a while ago to talk about getting married at the vineyard. The wine was not bad and the building was rustic. They were very restrictive and only allowed a few high price locals to cater, none of which would serve the food we were interested in. Opted not to use this venue.

I have had quite a bit of Unionville wine over the past 5 years or so and it always delivers a unique experience. Who knew that NJ actually had wines that express its terroir? The wines are made with elegance and finesse in the great European tradition and I absolutely recommend them to anybody who is interested in fine wines, especially those Jerseyans who want to support their state's produce. The winery itself is charming and quite beautiful, with a comfy tasting room and staff who are always knowledgable and friendly. Cheers!

Unionville is one of the premier wineries in New Jersey. Nestled in the rolling hills of Hunterdon county, the winery pulls from the diversity of terriors to make a wide variety of quality white, rose and red wines. Tiffany (tasting room), Jackie (special events), Conor (head wine maker), and the rest of the crew create a most pleasant experience for the novice and the more learned alike. The tasting room and tank room are rustic and inviting with ample room for guests. Frequent events and available memberships make this a place to frequent again and again. Enjoy the Riesling and Pinot Griigio in the whites and the Syrah, Big O and whatever else you can get for the reds. Don't leave without trying the port... Heavenly. Wines range from $17 to $40 per bottle and around $8 to $10 per glass. Select cheeses and such are available also.

Truly fantastic wines crafted with a keen eye in grape selection and execution. It makes a clear difference when a winery can grow and care for their own grapes. Particular favorites include the Mistral rose and the Eureka Riesling blend. Also a gorgeous vineyard so it’s certainly worth a day trip for a tour!

I inquired about a bridal shower and initially was impressed about the speedy reply and providing all of the information up front. Within the week of visiting to put down our payment, the events coordinator booked the date for a wedding. This would’ve been fine but was extremely disappointed when we drive an hour plus each direction on a rainy day to the Venue for them to tell us the date (which was form due to out of town guests) was booked already. There was no apology or even any attempt to try and salvage our shower. She said she would let me know later in the week whether the wedding would confirm and then we never heard from them again. Very unprofessional.

Can't say enough about the quality of people & product at Unionvile Vineyards. New Jersey wines are making a name for themselves and Unionville is on the front lines with 100% NJ-grown wines. I believe in supporting your community, but I also believe in only drinking good wine. Luckily, Unionville allows me to do just that!! Beautiful setting and farm house with large open field makes for a great day out with my wife, friends or the whole family...especially during special events on site.

I've been here for a wine tasting once or twice, and it was a good experience. The tasting room is very large, with views overlooking the barrels below. You have a nice range of choices to choose from on the tasting list and the pours are adequate. The wine quality is about average for New Jersey wines, which can sometimes be disappointing; there was nothing I tasted, besides perhaps the very expensive port, was particularly impressive, but the experience was still a good one.

$10 for 8 wines tasting. You get may be one sip. Hardly a tasting, I walked out once the the lady poured 3rd wine telling me it was a bigger pour than usual because I was patient. I felt insulted and perhaps will never go to there back again. May be nice people but not for me. Thanks.
