Lovely winery. Gets VERY busy.

Nice location and fun setup. The reason for the 2 stars is that they charge a $10 per head cover charge. This is not California wine. It is average NJ wine and the location and atmosphere is the fun. To charge a large admittance fee per head is annoying and is a good reason not to go there.

Andrei Astapka

Beautiful vineyard, phenomenal wines, welcoming staff, great music, and unbeatable atmosphere! Strongly recommend visiting and tasting all of their wines.

We were in town for the weekend vacationing. Came this past Saturday night and we were with another couple. Got there and there was a live band and very beautiful grounds. We went to inside to grab some wine and food. The wine bartender was very friendly. Let us try several wines before we purchased 3 bottles. We went outside and tried to find a seat. We must have looked confused so a guy came over and said let me help you find a seat. We looked for only a moment and he introduced himself as mike and he owns the winery. He said you know what I’ve got a few tables on the patio reserved for my family. You guys can come hang with us. We were really impressed with how approachable and friendly he was. We followed him to his area where mike introduce us to his family. Gave us a little history of the winery. Made sure we had food and all the wine we needed. We had such a great time. We won’t ever forget it. Overall we thought it was so much fun. They are great people. Oh... and the wine was amazing. We will probably make the trip up again!!!

The atmosphere is terrific, the wine is good, but the customer service is terrible. I want to start out this review by stating that I typically never do this; however, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service we received at Beneduce Vineyards for my sister's 30th birthday party. I planned the event nearly two months in advance. We were going for their Group Therapy session with live music. The reservation stated, "First Preference: farther away from the band. Second preference: Lawn seating. We would like a few of the big tables with umbrellas and are coming for a 30th birthday party." I specified big tables because there are bigger round tables with seating that I have seen the vineyard put under large umbrellas. I even spoke to the event staff before the event to see about reserving a specific area and was told to do so online, which is what I did. Forty tickets were purchased in advance for seating (they charge $10 pp per seat), and fifty entrance tickets were purchased in advance (they charge $10 pp for anyone over the age of 2 years old--even though absolutely no service is provided by the vineyard for anyone under 21). When we arrived that day, the staff had set us up with five picnic tables. Three of the tables were together in between bushes without any view of the band and/or scenery that makes the vineyard so great. They were also next to a huge ditch that my future sister-in-law fell in while holding our 10 month old daughter. My sister-in-law hurt her ankle. When we inquired about the location and seating choice we were given, we were told by the staff that I requested picnic tables. This was clearly a lie. The woman who lied to me was extremely passive aggressive and told me she thought it was weird I would request picnic tables for the party. As shown by my email request, I did not request picnic tables, and if you thought it was so weird and I've now spoken to you about the event three times before, why wouldn't you call to confirm the seating? The staff ended up working with us a little so we could have some of the smaller tables so our guests could be together, but the entire experience was ruined by poor customer service. Even though we bought so many entrance vouchers in advance, they refused to accept the vouchers from one guest and charged her to get in. This had to be addressed with management, taking time away from enjoying the event and adding further frustration to our customer service experience. My husband and I have been patrons of Beneduce's for over three years. I typically love going to this vineyard and even spent my first Mother's Day there this year. All I can say is that after last evening, I will not go back. While the atmosphere is fantastic and the wine is good, customer service makes or breaks a business.

Nice place and atmosphere. The wines are decent for the price. The downside is I was a bit surprised at the amount of people who bring very young children to the winery in baby carriages while drinking. I am a mother of grown children but there is a time and place for everything. Also, a group of guys were smoking cigars in the middle of the patio area which was a turn off. I did see some guests walk away to smoke but not everyone did nor is it enforced by the staff. Also today by 5:15 the staff inside is calling last call and practically throwing you out.

Went there early on a Friday so we were the only ones. We got great service and did a full tasting with the cheese plate. We plan to go back when they have live music. Also the brown lab they have is so friendly and being a dog person makes me love them even more.

Love this place and have always had a great time!! What apalls me is the weekend cover charge of $10 person where you should pay $10 per car. Please reconsider. Resident of Hunterdon County. Do you have senior citizen rates?

I went here for trivia night with some friends. The place is nice inside and looks like they're improving and adding onto the winery. I liked the wines we tried, but there were some things we really didn't like. I have been to many wineries, but I 've never had to pay for anything aside from the wine, unless there was some kind of event going on, of course. We paid a fee per person to play trivia which isn't that bad, but apparently they didn't turn the heat on that night, because it was freezing the whole time. Also, when they have live music they charge you to reserve a table and then they charge you again because there is live music. I have been to many bars and wineries with live music and have never been asked to chip in to help the venue pay for the entertainment. When you're already expecting to pay $18 or $25 per bottle of wine, it just feels like you're getting hustled a little bit to have to pay for your music and reservation. One good thing I can say is that the staff were great; very friendly and accommodating. I will go back if friends invite me, but I personally prefer some other wineries in the area. Parking could be improved as well, but I'm sure they are working on that.

Went to see friends in a band it was great. Great wine, good times with friends.

Beautiful atmosphere, excellent wine - Mike works so hard and clearly has a deep love and talent for what he does! The rustic design of the Tasting Room and the outdoor patio, as well as the concert/firepit area is so elegant, comfortable and meticulously thought out, they've really created a great place to hang out and enjoy what they do best. Plus their Three Windows Riesling and their Blue 2 red are delicious! I look forward to coming back and trying more of their wines in the future!

Jaime Brownell

Attended a family function here. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, spacious and very well maintained. Although I'm not a big fan of dry wines, their wines were tasty. There were multiple events going on at the same time but each event was well staffed. There was plenty of things to do to keep the guests busy and active. There is a bocce court, a fire pit, a stage for live entertainment , an indoor bar and large seating area for wine tasting, as well as an outdoor seating area with tables and umbrellas. The distillery had the wine barrels out in the open. A very impressive winery.

Great place for a Saturday evening. LIVE Music, wine, fire pit, food trucks and just plain old fun. Great afternoon/evening for the whole family. Really a classy place with some games for the kids as well. You can bring your own food, snacks etc but do NOT bring any outside alcoholic beverages. ZERO TOLERANCE. Great relaxing environment. Warning, can get crowded on a Saturday do get there early or make reservations. There is music on Sunday too. Really enjoy this place! A real class act.

What an amazing find! Absolutely loved our visit. The grounds are open and inviting. We had a deluxe tasting which is $15 per person which includes wine, cheese and bread vs $5 for just wine. The pours and fair and the service attentive. Personally the wines were the same: fair. We did see a private party so that is an option. The riesling was the table favorite. No tour: at least none was offered, although it seems you can see what they do from where you sit (refer to pictures). Would recommend for a weekend tasting with friends/family.

Great venue for relaxing to local talent while enjoying some nice wines. Come early

J Mcknight

Great atmosphere, however I joined the wine club (for the wine "Blue2" which they have not had since March this year and wondering if it will tatse the same)), (maybe I didn't read the fine print) but every 3 months they auto charge your credit card and they select the wine you get. They gave me whites and I'm a red drinker. I had to remove & replace, which was additional $$$. Second thing, I think all the employees (that I've dealt with, in the 3x I went) need some customer service training.

Scott Milesnick

Great small vineyard experience. Live entertainment weekend events are well organized and make for a very fun time.

My wife found this place, and what a find. Perfectly peaceful setting, extremely helpful and knowledgable people working there, and excellent wines. When we tasted the second of 5 wines we knew we were in trouble. And then after the 3rd tasting we knew we were leaving with a case. Every one of the wines we tasted were excellent. I'd recommend this place to anyone. It is worth the drive to get there.

Group Therapy Live was an awesome night out with my husband and both of our parents. We stayed at the Bridgeton House by the Delaware and were looking for something fun to do that we would all enjoy, so we took a quick Lyft to Beneduce and had a blast. the music and wine were great. It did get crowded so I recommend reserving a table online in advance if you plan to go on a Saturday night in the summer.

Found out about this place from my neighbors. Came by this past Saturday with a few friends for my birthday. We had such an amazing time. From the live music to the fire pit. We headed into the tasting room and the staff definitely know there stuff. The wine and cheese was paired so well and you can't beat the $15 price tag for a solid LOCAL charcuterie. Took a couple bottles outside and really enjoyed it. Will be going back soon for sure!

It was our first time here and we loved it! Came because CC-Coletti Band was playing. They were rockin' the stage and sounding great as always. The grounds at the Vinyard are beautiful, the staff was awesome, and the wines are fabulous. A big thank you to Penny for going above and beyond! She made our first trip here a special one. We're looking forward to coming back and bringing more friends! Keep up the great work there

This place is an absolute gem! Found it by accident one night. We'll travel 1.5 hours from Philly to spend our saturday nights here. Great live music, atmosphere, and very tasty wines (The blue 2 is a favorite). The staff definitely know their stuff.

Very beautiful...and relaxing... The wine is also great...good place to spend a weekend

Beneduce Vineyards is great. They did a great job with this property. It is beautiful, they host great events, and the wine is good too. My favorite is the Shotgun red which is very well developed Pinot Noir. If you live in the area or are willing to travel they have wine, live music, and food trucks in the evenings which makes for a great atmosphere.

We have been coming to Beneduce for years, before we had children and love the atmosphere but shame on you for charging a $10 TODDLER FEE! Found it extremely rude and inconsiderate that they charged us a standard adult fee of $10 for our 18 month daughter just because she is walking!! Most places allow children under 3 in for free, they are taking advantage of a head count to charge $10 for a child who is walking. Yes, the location is gorgeous and they've done a lot to spruce it up - clearly they are benefiting off of charging $10 for children under 3 years old to finance this. It used to be $10 per car and now it is $10 for each single person in a car including toddlers.

I was having a girl's day out when our plans were unexpectedly cancelled. We happened upon Beneduce Vineyards and we were not let down! The wine is so good I will drive an hour back to get another bottle! The tasting was a lot of fun. The lady that was helping us was not only very knowledgeable, she was also very entertaining! Five star experience and I will for sure be back!

My husband was kicked out of Beneduce's last night for admitting to drinking a beer. My suggestion to the owner and employees of the vineyard is to communicate this new zero tolerance policy to patrons instead of relying on signage. They had three golden opportunities to let us know, first when I spent $100 to reserve seats, the second when they happily took our $10 per person entering the vineyard and last when we had our hand stamped. We have been there several times before and no one was ever ask d to leave for bringing in a beer. The situation was handled very poorly and we will never go back. My advice to the owner is enjoy the crowds now however, treating patrons without respect and dignity will undoubtedly affect repeat customers. Julie Van Scott

Good place for family gathering sweet sixteen or birthday parties. Very nice polite and friendly service. Clean and natural surroundings. Plenty indoor parking. They make their own wine here. Free wine testing and tasting. They have indoor wine bar service. Discuss about wine and party and make your event pleasurable.

Had a great time at this winery! The wines were all fantastic, especially the signature Pinot Noir & the Mangione. Mike Jr. was very gracious & knowledgeable making this a great experience for my first time here. Make it a point to introduce yourself to Stanley. He'll ensure you feel right at home. I will definitely be back and will be bringing friends!

My favorite vineyard in NJ. You can have the wine tasting and buy your favorite bottle afterwards. They also sell bread and a they have a small selection of cheese. During the summer they have a band playing outside and during the whole year on Saturday you usually find a food truck outside (afternoon).

Great people, knowledgeable staff, good wine and beautiful setting. What else is there to say?

A wonderful night and the staff could not have been sweeter.

Excellent wine, fine service and beautiful people. Highly recommended.

That security guard or parking lot attendant or whatever he is needs to be fired. I pulled in there tonight to pick up a few passengers. He sees me and holds up this glow in the dark stick and motions for me to turn right. He walks over to his left (my right) and motions for me to turn right! I pull into the space he pointed at and then he comes up to my car yelling at me saying "What's the matter with you Uber?! Umm excuse me but you were waving me to turn right. He wasn't trying to stop he or warn me about any oncoming people. He should go back to traffic signal school because he obviously doesn't know what he's doing. Somebody could have gotten hurt. Even my passengers said he seemed clueless. He is going to end up being a liability to the vineyard.

We had an absolute blast. Mikey was very informative and helpful with the wines and had a great personality and a great smile. Louie was also a great, well maintained dog on the property. It was great to hear that we could bring our dog the next time we visit which will be soon I highly recommend trying it out if you are a wine drinker. There is even bachie ball to play on a nice day. I went a second time and Karen and penny helped us. Again unbelievable experience. This is a place you have to try if you are a wine drinker. They also had the corn hole games out for the weekend which we took advantage of. And they also have live music on saturday nights which I am planning on going to at some point this summer.

Loved this place. People who don’t want to pay the 10 bucks go elsewhere lol. Went there last night on a whim with my wife. Yea we were surprised by a 10 dollar cover but you know what it was to cover a band and probably those poor souls who were directing parking in 90 degree warmth. Motor City Review was fantastic everybody who was there last night had a blast. When 200 people who don’t know each other get up and dance you know your good. This band had everybody from every generation on their feet. If you want a place to go to and feel at home this is it. Oh yea and the wine selection is for every pallet and is on point. Make reservations if you want umbrellas for the shade, otherwise there is plenty of seating for everyone.

Nice winery but the cover charge for entertainment is a bit absurd given the amount of money patrons will be spending at the winery.

The Vineyard itself was very pretty and the location picturesque. I heard it was a pretty place with good wine, so I begged my friends and my spouse to bring me for a visit. As soon as we pulled into the vineyard we immediately experience problems with the parking staff regarding a service animal. We explained to the gentleman that we had never been to the vineyard and we were told that all wine tastings are conducted in The Tasting Room. I told one of the parking attendance that I would speak to the person in charge in The Tasting Room about a service animal so I could still experience the vineyard. Once inside the manager came over and said unless it was a seeing eye dog they do not allow service animals inside. I then asked why I was not allowed to have my medical service animal by my side while at the vineyard, and they told me they do not allow emotional support animals, which was not what my medical service animal is trained for. The manager proceeded to ask me for specific identification for the animal and about my disability. Under the American with Disabilities Act of 1990 businesses may not ask for special identification for the animal or about a person's disability or charge additional fees because of the animal. Businesses also may not refuse admittance or isolate or segregate or treat a person less favorably than other patrons because of the disability. Though I do carry identification regarding my medical condition for medical personnel in the event of an emergency, including the service animal, I felt it was very invasive. The entrances of the gravel lot and the door for the tastings had no ramps and were not ADA Compliant in terms of access with a wheelchair either. Once finally outside after the tasting was complete, some women were setting up for some type of evening event and where telling us we had to move in a few minutes so they could shift the tables around for an event that started in an hour. Overall I will not be returning to this vineyard, and it is not disabilities friendly.

My sisters have been patrons of Beneduce for a few years now. My one sister enjoys it so much that she requested to have a gathering for her 30th birthday. 40 tickets for entrance/ seating were purchased 2 months in advance and a section was reserved. When we got there to set up, there were 3 other parties of 40 attendees with tables underneath umbrellas near the band/ fire pits. We on the other hand were put in the corner with 5 spread out picnic tables bumping up to giant potted trees. There was also what resembled a trench that separated the landscaping from the grass right down the walkway behind the picnic tables. My fiancé even rolled her ankle and fell while holding our niece in this trench. We do understand that when trying to accommodate everyone, someone has to get the short straw, unfortunately that was us. When we inquired about accommodations closer to what we requested, the woman who I assume was in charge by her very passive aggressive and bothersome attitude told my sister who planned the event that she requested picnic tables. “When we pulled up the confirmation email, it turns out she clearly requested a different section” We also had 2 incidents where individuals gave the tickets that we purchased before hand and were told that they were not accepted and charged again. This was another issue that needed to addressed with management and took time away with family & friends. The wine and atmosphere are solid but I would guess that customer service will do this place in way before spotted lantern flies take them out.

We came on a Sunday looking to do a tasting and we were told tastings were suspended. So how do we try the wines before we buy? We were curtly told that we can try a sip and then buy a glass or bottle. I got a dirty look when I asked for a different sip. When you get there the venue is absolutely beautiful and and scenery is great! Unfortunately there is no signage or anyone to direct you. We wandered into the building which was great but there was no greeter and no bartender acknowledged us for almost 15 minutes as we stood by the door/edge of the bar. We got two bottles of the reisling bit probably won't come back unless they reorganize some.

Meg Mikrut

Very helpful, informative tasting. Enjoyable atmosphere. Particularly enjoy their gewurtz.

Very nice-one as suggestion for $15 tasting--make one vegeterian/vegan--with hummus and veg and crackers- that would be good alternative as my group was vegan-other than that it was very nice

Went to the sweetheart tasting event including Group Therapy. Great tasting and your served and led by winemaker, Mike Beneducci himself. Great wines, and fun music in a tropical atmosphere. Also loved the Flying Pie Guy food truck. Great value doe the money. Highly recommend!

Minus 1 point for rude women behind the tasting bar. Not only rude, but she overcharged me for a bottle of red, it says $14.99 on the website, yet she charged be $16.00. The wines are ok, most overpriced. But what brings people in is the atmosphere. It's great sitting outside listening to live music drinking wine on a nice Sunday afternoon.
