Walked in about 30 minutes to closing. Curious to see what they had for local brews or wines. The gentleman behind the counter was reading a newspaper and the store was playing jazz way too loud. When we were standing in front of the laughable selection of beers he asked if we were looking for a 30-pack and that they "didn't sell anything you might find in a grocery store." Look, dude, I've never bought a 30-pack of anything in my life, and if I knew I could get what I wanted at a grocery store, I'd be THERE, not in this dusty store surrounded by Pinnacle vodka. This pretentious establishment is not worth any of my money, thank you very much.

The owner is very friendly, helpful and full of wonderful knowledge of Vermont history and recommendations of places that can't be missed. The music playing was classy, relaxing and a true joy to help round out the experience. Thanks to the owner we left with a local gin that is full of perfectly wonderful flavors. We will be heading back to pick up 3 more bottles of Green Mountain Organic Gin to take home with us.

Asked if he would accept quarters to cover the $3 balance. Owner declined sale stating "I have to roll excess quarters to deposit them at the end of the monthe." Wow. Sorry you will not accept legal tender because you have to do your darn job to deposit your profits. You have lost a customer. Merchandise was priced reasonably albeit a bit high.
