“fresh pasta” they dont have too many options, and you cant add or remove to your order

Nishant Kumar

We went there for my wife's birthday. It was an amazing experience. The tagliolini pasta was a one of a kind dish supplemented well with fresh shaved black truffles. Pizza flavours gelled nicely with a smoky tomato aroma. It's difficult to explain unless you've experienced it. Speaking of experience our server gave us all the attention in the world to help us choose the perfect dishes. And we were lucky to get a window view.

Absolutely love this place, the authenticity will blow you away. If you want REAL Italian food this is honestly the only spot. Everything tastes completely different from what I usually get as “Italian food” I especially recommend the lasagne.

Catherine Burke

Grabbed a quick lunch and drink at the Eataly. This location is convenient to the World Trade Center Memorial and Museum. Market was crowded, but could get a spot at the bar on a Saturday afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed the bread basket and spreads!

Kasazhi Tembo

Actually came here ought of curiosity because I live in Rome and wanted to compare. Not disappointed at all

2020 Startups

Best place, local spot, not too crowded and the service is outstanding!

Tulsi Lala

This is a great concept! I can spend hours here enjoying the deliciously balanced meals they have in their different eateries and shopping for my grocery list mainly for Italian cuisine. They have thousands of different types of pastas, cheese, herbs, spices, produce and sauces. If you decide to go here, carve out atleast 3 to 4 hours to thouroughly experience this place. It is a gigantic grocery store with different types of Italian restaurants inside of it. You can crab coffee a dessert here as well.

Emily Walker

Absolutely LOVED this place. It is an Italian market on the entire floor ,and we ended up eating in the restaurant where my group and I had the best pizza we have ever had! Everything tastes home made and authentic to Italian cuisine. They also had large windows to overlook the city as you ate, you could see the world trade center as well as the 9/11 ground zero memorial, and Oculus. Of we go back to NYC, we will definitely be returning. We found this gem because it was was recommended to us by an employee when we were at the World Trade Center Observatory. Definitely use your sources when visiting, they know the best places to go!

Wish i had pics. I ordered pizza and it was amazing. I had 2 helpings and they're pretty big. Their dessert pizza is also really good. it was more like a focaccia pizza. tasted amazing. The bathrooms are decent, the place looks great. I loved eating and having a great view. The food isn't too pricey and it's worth it.

Megan Ung

Food was delicious but very pricey. I ate at Vino E Grano and we had a party of 7. They placed us at a super tiny table and we were very cramped. Besides that and the price, the food was delicious (I had the carbonara) and is a great Italian place to go to.

Chesca

It's heaven. Actually heaven. Italian heaven.

Murray Levi

A high-priced Italian food mart the can't make a proper cappuccino. Okay maybe they deserve another star because the food is actually wonderful, but how can they pass off this milky stuff with a tiny little bit of flavorless brown fluid in it as a cappuccino? They should really train their Baristas properly and not overcharge for garbage

Mark Talavera

Asked for a table by window and host said they were for four people , but it was almost 9:00 Monday night with no other guests behind us. I could understand at peak hours with wait list. So they lost us and probably did not care. Then we stopped and ordered at Pasta and Wine Bar near the Il Gelato, excited to have gelato for dessert. At 8:55, the rude gelato employee would not accommodate a scoop of gelato; there were no signs of their hours posted anywhere. If the Eataly closes at 11:00 and the Gelato Bar closes 9:00 with diners in front of you, there should be noticable hours somewhere at the bar. The girl at the Pasta Bar was very pleasant. The other two experiences were such a turn off that we won't be back. Even at fast service establishments, there should be a decent level of hospitality maintained. This is a service industry! We are sad to see this! My wife teaches Hospitality manners at our establishment.

A little of everything. Cafes, counters for dining, drink carts, retail and table service. Our favorite was the marketplace. Authentic Italian cuisine and well educated staff to help you make proper selections. We visited on weekday during the lunch rush. We were seated quickly, ordered from separate cafes and pizzerias, everything arrived quickly. Our server was very busy but made sure we were well serviced. The price point is varied, from inexpensive $ to mid $$$ as well as a few higher end price point items $$$$$. The tiramisu from the marketplace in the front was spectacular. We got it to go and walked to Battery Park where 5 of us shared this treat. Its not all good at Eataly though! They sell cooking implements, imported goods and non food/cuisine items like perfumes and candles imported from Italy. ❤❤❤

Caio Maia

Not that great Cacio & Pepe, just regular pasta and some cheese sauce. The pepper was amazing tho. I’ve had better food in way many other places. Service could also improve a lot with less pretentious waiters and waitresses that actually care about customers.

Dougie Sinclair

Very cool place full of Italian items Straight From Italy. Anything you want that is Italian I'm sure you can find there. They even have a restaurant that you can eat at with pizza and wine and cheese platters and everything Italy. Really cool place I would never expect to be on the top of a mall

Marissa Resendez

Absolutely amazing! I've never experienced anything like it. It's like an Italian Whole Foods times a thousand. We had the best pasta and pizza ever!

Matthew Elmakias

So you guys will have eataly in London uk

David S

1 coffee, 2 servings of (cold) Lasanga and 2 servings of green salad with tip $85 USD.

Matthew Hickey

Vastly better than the overcrowded and chaotic Chelsea outpost. A place to stock up on restaurant quality Italian delicacies of all kinds. From hard to find ingredients (truffles), to cured meats, fresh pasta, fish, artisan meags and the highest caliber produce. Buyer beware, it is expensive and deals are hard to find. But if convenience can't be beat for this place. Instead of going to the Italian restaurant, get your ingredients here and eat what they sell for much less.

Hilary Evans

Amazing gluten free pizza!!! The entire place is like an ikea for Italian food, so many options and such a unique atmosphere. I’d recommend going for a meal but giving yourself extra time to wander around.

Gregory Schmitz

Their staff will go out of their way to help you find what you need. I just had the store manager running from one aisle to another choosing from dough to cheese to help my pizza cooking project with my two-year-old. High quality of their products and a big selection of Italian goods.

Mark Sanders

Very Nice spot/view (thats the 1 star for) The food WOW: expensive, very small portions (in US turms: xxxxxs). The taste was Okay, not even great, and there were atleast 4 shrimps

Marco Montalto Monella

Excellent Saltimbocca alla Romana! And in general I absolutely recommend Eataly for any Italian foodie out there! Osteria della Pace restaurant has an amazing view and it's really charming both during the day and in the night.

Tom Stock

This place has a great variety of Italian foods to choose from and multiple dining locations within the complex. I highly recommend trying it out!

David Janashvili

Love love love this place. It's simple yet delicious - like good Italian food ought to be. As always, wine selection is pretty good, and so are simple cocktails. But the tagliatelle with brisket completely stole the show today! Wish they brought back the seafood Cafe (like at the eataly on Madison Sq) though.

Enrique Martinez

The Pizza and Pasta sit down restaurant is great. It can get pretty busy around lunch time, but it’s worth the wait. You can also find just about any Italian food ingredients.

Ελενη Καπανταη

It's a wonderful place. The experience was great. The only part that was unpleasant was the behavior of the barista at Lavazza cafe (on of them not all). He was very rude and unprofessional. Not only to me but to all costumers. Too bad, everything being great except from his behavior!!!

Alan Lund

A really nice concept restaurant, where they sell what they cook. But as a first timer, I found it overwhelming and didn’t know where to begin, it definitely would be nice to have a bit of explanation about the concept and how to get around the massive store.

Reba Brown

I just like their food. I always get good customer service there. The place is always clean and the workers are always super nice. I highly recommend this place.

Carlos Orellana

Great place to enjoy a nice adult beverage with a meat and cheese platter. All the food looks amazing here as well. Also got a pizza which was really good as well but in my opinion the best thing to get is the meat and cheese platter. Enjoy that with some bread! Service is good and prices aren't too bad. Good place to go with good company!

Sam Exilor

For american is good... but not for europ people (French) Just a Nice concept. If you wants a good wine that’s not here

Patrick Lennon

Really cool place. We ate in the Italian and had a fantastic lunch. Staff were very good. Will be back.

Tareq Tayeh

Dined in in their restaurant and can easily say it was one of my best food experiences this year. Exquisite pizzas and mozzarella, superb service, classy atmosphere, and a lovely view. 5/5

Jess Lim

Went for lunch on Friday at the Ravioli & Co and had the special pasta - semolina pasta with shrimp and mutti tomato sauce. Sauce is a bit funny tasting but still delicious. Chow that down in less than 5 mins

Seawolf Barber Shop

Our worst dining experience in New York. The service was terrible. Our server was late the whole time. Not great food. Best part was the wine. Walk around before you go to the restaurant when you first walk in. We wish we did.

ivana pagano

I really enjoyed the place amazing tour of everything in Italy took me back.to my country I loved there pizza yuuum omg. The fresh foods and everything about it I loved it.

Noah Schmitz

Unnecessarily terrible. Great food, terrific variety, horrible execution. Sandwich place won’t let you choose your sandwich toppings, pasta place won’t let you choose your pasta sauce, Italian restaurant won’t let you take anything out except pizza or bring anything in from the market. Apparently it’s a great place to eat if you happen to like the 4 predetermined choices they make for you at each establishment. Such a waste. Could be so good if the servers were allowed to be human beings.

Chris Ray

Really trendy concept but too confusing to need to go here. Don’t expect to just sit down and eat somewhere, that’s not how it works. If there were more helpful associates maybe we would have had a better experience.

Jeremy Janas

Great selection of fresh produce and meats. Just a "tad" over priced but the quality is top notch. Bought a porterhouse and a tomahawk and grilled them over this past weekend for father's day. Awesome!!!! Looking forward to buying more for our next BBQ. Just find it hard to spend so much for meat that's priced as much as if I'm going to a restaurant. Either way great quality.

Abhi Shek

Amazing grocery store with different eateries positioned throughout the space, all Italian-themed. We could have spent days here exploring and eating. Ate at the fancy schmancy restaurant located to the side of the family-friendly joint. Food was good, but a bit overpriced for what we received. Still, enjoyed the service and the meal. Definitely come visit if you're in the area

C M

Excellent food very fresh. Pizza and pasta is homemade. Staff is very attentive you would think you are in 5 star restaurant. Generous portions and prices are fine $$.

sandra jones

Wonderful store to visit for lunch most day on our week long holiday in New York.A buzzing atmosphere and so many delicious choices to be made. Very high quality produce.

Prita Das

Love this concept. The salad bar has delicious, fresh options, and was actually pleasantly filling. The price is steep - around 12 dollars, but that's standard Manhattan pricing. The focaccia sandwiches were also tasty. We enjoyed taking part in a free mini cooking demo, where we got to try spaghetti infused in indecent amounts of olive oil and garlic. The result was, of course, rather good. It's a nice place to wander round, and a must for Italian food fans.

Mel Black

Patricia made our visit! We were in a rush because we had timed tickets for a tour. She got us in and out in great time. The pasta was wonderful.

Carl Thornton

This place is huge! Has to be seen to be believed. Loads of bars and food

David Abbatematteo

I live near here. Truthfully the quality of this location pales to the uptown location. The service is much worse and less friendly. I had pizza slices at about 8pm. They had no business selling these things at full price. The tricolore curst was hard as rock. The soppressata was ok. If I go her otherwise I get the prime rib sandwich which is hit or miss compared to the other location, which is always perfect.

Ellis Hugunin

Great food selection and friendly staff.

Johana Garcia

It was hard to find!!! My first time in NYC. Pizza is amazing!

Ana Cris

A real empire of Italian food, great variety of pasta, cookies and gelato.

Theresa

All I can say is..."OMG.. DELICIOUS!!" I HIGHLY recommend the Malfaldine and the Quattro Formaggi Pizza from La Pizza & La Pasta Restaurant!! EVERYTHING we've had is EXCELLENT!! Top Quality!! Nothing bad to say!!

Nicolas Borunda

The service was ridiculously fast, the food was amazing, literally better than food in Italy, amazing view, very cheap prices and many tables to be seated.

Johnny -

Best Italian I've had in years, if not ever. Shared space with the mall but don't let that fool you. Pasta is simple but great taste, paired with the wine and nice desserts a well deserved 5 stars!

sulay restrepo

I love this place, perfect for a lunch meeting! The cheese plater and pizza are so yummy

AudiophileTubes

Eataly was a nice surprise, and random 'find' for us! We were visiting Ground Zero from Ohio for the first time, and my Middle Schooler wanted to find a place that served ice cream and/or pastries. We asked a street cop if he knew of any place close by, and he pointed upstairs to the building we were walking by. We were thrilled when we entered Eataly, and saw the layout and food products! One of the customer service employees was very helpful and kind, and we immediately felt welcome. We had coffee, gelato, and mini pastries, and shopped for a few imported candies, and left satisfied. Just perfect! I hope Eataly opens up a store on the west side of the Cleveland suburbs soon. Upscale 'Crocker Park' in Westlake would be a great choice (hint hint)!

Jorge Bianchi

This is about the main Italian restaurant inside: bread was chewy (gum), wine (Chianti) felt unspecial, orange juice came 2/3rd full but full Price, staff seemed uninterested. My conclusion: this is a place for one-time tourists and not repeat customers. We decided to leave and go elsewhere. Definitely not recommended

Эльмира Кагирова

The worst customers experience in NYC:( Unfortunately after ten hours walking around the city we decided to have a dinner in the restaurant La pizza and la pasta in the Eataly. We did not notice the hostess, we walked around and thought that it is possible to seat by ourselves. But then the waitress advised us where we can find a hostess. We went to her. The hostess was so rude. She even did not say hi, she was just saying like punishment “You can not seat without me. I need to show you a table.” We said “OK. Could you show us a table where we can seat. There are two of us”. And the answer was “ No way”. Her voice tone was so angry, her eyes was full of angry. Like we did a crime. And we just left the place.

Libor Vojkuvka

If you are looking for great ingredients for a homemade Italian dinner or want to enjoy great Italian food ... Eataly is a place that you must not miss. Pasta, pizza, sauce ... everything is like from your Italian grandmother. The list of superlatives would go on and on...place visited several times, always left perfectly satisfucked. :)))

Carla Tortoledo-Sifontes

First time eating at Eataly and was not disappointed. The truffle pizza was amazing, it actually tasted like truffles (even had truffle in it). The pasta I ordered was the tagliatelle con Ragu di Manso was delicious as well. Aside from myself, everybody else in my table enjoyed their food. Service was fast, and servers were nice and helpful. Totally recommend this place!

Wallace Vaughan

Outstanding butcher shop and great wine and cheese boards. Also the prime rib sandwich is out of this world. We’ve lived across the street since it was built and I rarely go grocery shopping anywhere else.

Natalie Aggelidou

Great food, nice atmosphere, very good service. We were seated straight away although the place was very busy.

Joel Võsu

Excellent pasta! Spacious restaurant with friendly staff. A bit pricey but worth the expense. Large wine selection.

Ilaria Edera

Moved in NYC from Italy two years ago, this is the place where I grab my TRUE Italian goodies whenever I want a proper meal!

Richard Gomperts

La pizza & La pasta was like always. Delicious the service the food the place perfect we love it. Eataly is the beat

Jordi Kaller

I was out looking for a NY slice of pizza. What I found was way better. I went to Eataly on a recommendation and the pizza i got was fantastic. They nailed it. Everything else looked good as well. I did not try anything else but people in my group all were raving about what they got. The dessert counter was packed and the dessert looked great. They had a lot of fun sized looking desserts that the sold in denominations of 4. I will come back to this place the next time I have a hunger for some pizza.

Marjorie Finley

Service is excellent even when they are busy. Certainly worth going back to. Prices are reasonable. Feels like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed visiting.

stan yu

Came here twice now and got the Vesuvio pasta dish each time. Simply amazing!! Great texture and flavor. There was a long wait so we decided to eat at the bar. Service was great

Shelbi Cervenec

Great pizza and pasta! Definitely what we were looking for while visiting Manhattan! I loved (and hated) that we had so many amazing options. It was hard to choose but what we did choose was fantastic!

St. John Simms

The food is delicious!! They also carry fruits and vegetables, many cheeses, sliced meats, olive oil, pasta, chocolate, honey and tea but those are just some of the items they carry. They have a bakery, cafe, gelato, rotisserie and seafood. It's a small marketplace. You can also buy wine glasses but they do not have a wine store at their downtown location.

Stacy Tucker

Our #lowermanhattan favorite spot. There is something for every one and every budget. We sat for lunch and the fresh tagliatelle melts in your mouth. The mortadella pizza with ricotta was the freshest take on pizza I had experienced in a while.

Guillaume Levade

Terrible food, service and place. A disgrace to Italian cuisine. Had one of my worst culinary experience in 14 years in NY

Nathan Yamamoto

Great place for Italian food. I went here for some food, and boy I got it. The food here is delicious, no matter what you may get. I love the pasta and gelato I got.... mmmmm... delicious. I do think that the place could use more seating but otherwise, it's a great place to go to, with great staff and a great atmosphere as well.

Rex Stone

Place is incredible. Although it feels impossible to actually find what you want to eat and sit down to eat it. Everyone is bustling through, trying to see everything, but nobody is actually eating haha. Regardless, the experience and the food there is phenomenal.

Florian Dieckmann

We went to the La Pizza & La Pasta restaurant. The food is amazing without exception and I compare it with the best italian food I’ve ever had. Service is quick, there is usually no wait. The restaurant has a view on the 9/11 memorial and ground zero. Highly recommended.

Sarah Jones

So far the best Italian food I’ve had whilst visiting in NYC. Pasta reminded me of the very authentic food I had while living in Italy. Amazing drinks as well

Mark Len

Ate in the Italian restaurant here. Lovely atmosphere, smaller and more personal than the pizza and pasta space. Fish was really nicely cooked, friend had NY Strip and was a huge dish and very tasty. Breads were great as was the dipping olive oil. Wine list by the glass was good but pricey! For good food in nice atmosphere the cost was OK given the locale.

Sangini Shah

Food was amazing and the drinks were even better! Little pricey, but definitely worth the money. The restaurant also has a nice vintage Italian vibe and a beautiful view of the WTC memorial park.

John Park

great casual Italian foods and atmosphere ~~

James Hammeren

Great food. The meat and cheese platters are amazing. Decent price for Manhattan. It can be a little overwhelming and the staff seemed disconnected

Francie Novo

Took a quick trip to Italy when I visited Eataly in NYC. Wonderful place filled with many areas to eat yummy food. A little bit pricey but well worth it. Had to leave room for the desserts...beautiful place to come to when in NYC.

Dean Armstrong

We have been in New York for a week and visited this restaurant twice. On our first visit we found the she experience quite amazing, the food was awesome and the service was really great. My wife if a vegetarian and the staff bent over backwards to make sure she was accommodated. The food was just perfect for us we all really enjoyed it. On our return visit, all was still as good as the first visit, but for me the pasta was a little raw, beyond eldente, but nonetheless, still very good. They bake their own breads here too and they are all to die for. Well worth a visit.

Fred Alluso

Two years later and all things have changed for the better throughout the entire Eataly NYC franchise. The employees are more professional and highly knowledgeable now. Customer service is well beyond where it was and flow throughout the retail floor is so much better. I'm also enjoying the updated and more unique products that they have on the shelves. My only gripe are the horrible cloth napkins they provide when you sit to dine in. Whenever I wear black or navy blue pants I get an incredible amount of lint all over. Something they should be able to easily remedy with a better line or service.

Jane Lai

Excellent pasta!

Vanessa C

This place is so neat! I brought my parents here and we all loved it. It’s a fun place to check out imported Italian goods. They have a great selection of olive oils, meats, cheeses, pastas, and more. There is a wine bar, dessert area, and a few places to sit and eat dinner. My dad and I ordered oysters-only $1 each. They were served on a silver dish on ice. Such a cool presentation and freshly shucked. They were delish! I’ll definitely go back.

Artin Perse

Had two pizzas at the Pizza and Pasta section. Staff was rude. We ordered wine and didn’t receive it. She completely forgot about our orders. Pizza arrived late and it was half burnt. Our waitress didn’t even have the courtesy to ask how our meal was. Considering the price you pay, this place is not worth it. The service was incredibly poor. The other main location is much better, I’ll never come back here. Waste of money.

David Buckingham

Very average food and service. Ridiculous booking system and extremely pricey for an experience that lasted an hour. Lovely shop mind you!

Anastasia Nickolaou

Walked inside & went up a couple floors of escalators to find great food & drinks. If you’ve never been to an Eataly you are truly losing in this world. Great place. Part supermarket, part restaurant & cafe. This place sells everything Italian & more. Food is great, service could improve a little but overall check this place out.

Brian Koevenig

Amazing food, great service. A little pricey, but not outrageous for Manhattan. Greeter could learn to smile a little .

Sofia Lugo

Great place to stock up on all kinds of delicious Italian products.

A K M Hamid Ullah

Wow! What an experience! Perfect for a family day out. You can spend the entire day there and still not be bored. The grocery, restaurant, famous cook appearing, tastings. It's like a classy, Italian Food Festival. Must visit if you're in NYC!

אורן זגורי

To anyone familiar with the concept, it won't be any different. To all the others, who experience it for the first time it's amazing.

A Martin

Fresh, authentic italian dishes. Wonderful view of the memorial and One World

Nikki Nikki

Terrible food. Terrible service. The pizza was greasy and the dough was disgusting. Their “antipasto” was nothing of the sort... raw radishes, greasy fried artichoke hearts, bruschetta with some type of cream cheese. The two servers we dealt with were rude and could care less about us. We ordered sides of marinara for the pizza, it never came. The only good thing was the ginger soda which was “ok.”

Michael Sia

I’ve been to this one and the one in Chicago and food wise it’s similar but Chicago beats this one out in terms of layout. Seats are far from takeout sections and seem out of place. Heard the one in Flatiron is way better but I have to see.

Leeta Gato

Inside the Oculus this is a gorgeous location to bring out of town friends to appreciate NYC. Everything an Italian food lover or home chef could want. Selections of cheeses, olive oils, prosciutto, fresh mushroom and produce, pastas, etc is extensive! Aside from the market extravaganza there’s a restaurant with table side service or informal pizza and flat bread areas where you can go for quick lunch or meet up with friends after work hours. Beers, wines, and other beverages available too. Also housewares. Cash, debit, and credit accepted. Cashiers and self check availability for quick shopping.

Junaid Ali

Great place to spend time at and enjoy inexpensive food.

Jan Rossouw

Waiter, took our order communicating with his colleagues and not concentrating on what we asked my wife repeated our order and waiter seemed irritated. The wrong food arrived and obviously the waiter a black gentleman argued that we got what we asked for.We refused to accept the order. We did eventually received what we ordered. The waiter must have told his colleagues something about us because everyone that came by our table after the incident would slam the plates down on the table. The waiter brought our check over to the table when he decided we were done, never asked if we wanted desert or anything else.I asked for balsamic and olive oil with our bread again waiter ignored me.I went over to the waiter area and got it myself.I came to this place because a friend told me about it,unfortunately the waiter and his coworkers spoiled what could have been a great experience. My photo is with my review so I suggest the owners of this facility go check the cameras around 3-5 pm Myself my wife and my friend (male)July 20 ,2018 and decide if they agree or disagree with me.I am willing to update my review, but at this point in time, not happy.

Brian Gingras

Great all around specialty shopping and dinning experience. Stop in and get some specialty Italian food or sit down and have a meal. Walked around the whole floor and was amazed at all the food and accessories that you can get there. Had lunch at Vino E Grano. Half sandwich and salad was fantastic. Full selection of Italian wine that you could get by the glass or the bottle. Picked up a few items to take home. Great find while visiting the city.

Claudio Santori

I was born and raised in Italy, and Eataly pizza is in my top5 favorite in New York. We have pizza here once a month, either take away or eating at their restaurant. We also shop here daily. Prices are ok, the quality of the food is very good, meat fish cheese and vegetables.

Roy M

When it rains, you go to eataly! We had some housemade pasta, tastes great! Also a decent selection of pastries. Everything is over priced but that’s expected!

Avril Whitworth

Good food (especially tiramisu) but a bit pricey.

Heidi Watson

It was great tasting food, not everything Italian on the menu like no spaghetti and meat balls, no lasagna, no American soda only Italian soda but the the mole cola tasted like coke a cola. 3 different desserts, tiramisu and 2 other things. One like a small piece of cake shaved almonds.. was a nice night out with family. Celebrated my sister and brother in law anniversary

H Sophia

We all needed some comfort food to lighten up our mood after visiting the 911 museum. Highly recommended the pizza and calamari - simply delicious. They have a great variety and selection of wine too. The staff that served us is probably the friendliest staff I have ever met in NYC. Despite the slight odd flavour in the risotto, this is still a good spot to visit.

Nick Hanson

A great selection of fresh produce

Austin Muscat

As expected downtown locations is a wonderful sensory experience but honestly, train your damn staff. My wife ordered a pasta that showed up barely cooked. So far to the left of al Dente I think they only brushed hot water on it. This is what you do people!!! If you can’t get the pasta right you are slapping centuries of Italian heritage in the face. I ordered a slice of focaccia and had to wait for this guy at the cash to get off his damn cell phone before he musteredbthe energy to take my money. I own a high profile store and cafe in a historic district in Toronto and if I caught any of my staff on their phones while on the floor, well that would be the immediate end of their employment with us. Eataly, you are amazing but get your staff act together.

Carlos Lopez

For as much as this place scream corporate/chain restaurant and cliche, ran by the likes of Batali and other TV celebrity chefs.....it is actually pretty darn good. The market is great too, I was surprisingly impressed and pleased with lunch here.

Yel Cordova

Overpriced and poor service. Never coming back here again. Better places to have Italian food in New York.

Ravika Gupta

Freshly made in house pasta. Fresh ingredients made with authentic tomatoes sauce. Open concept market style Italian restaurant. Great service with friendly staff. Walk-ins are welcome no reservations required.

Nathaniel Volk

Such an incredible place and wonderful concept. We could have easily spent the whole day in there eating and shopping. Really loved seeing mozzarella being made. Hopefully one of these stores gets opened in Australia!!!! I guess we’ll have to come back to New York and extend our stay here.

Shalece Elynne Art & Design

One of my favorite places in NYC. Get the Passion Fruit & Coconut gelato. AMAZING!

William Baker

Location is very modern and hip! My fiancé and I loved it here and will continue coming here although prices are a little high it was worth every penny!

Kamuti Kiteme

Authentic Italian cuisine in a supermarket setting. A bit overpriced but quality ingredients.

Julie B

Great time in Eataly. Pizza and pastas are original and delicious. You can chose where you want to eat among the different food stands and why not do some shopping while you wait for your table. Very convenient booking system via text that informs you when your table is ready. Stunning view on ground zero. A must go in New-York

Simon Laufer

Nice place, good food variety and a great view. We waited for our pizza for 30 min and we got the wrong one. It was good. No effort to compensate for the wrong order was made.

Ishita Bisht

Lovely place for all things Italian.

This is my favorite eataly location. It’s attached to the mall so you don’t have to walk around in the cold. The wine and food events that they frequently have on Fridays are wonderful- all the food and wine you can ask for. Great place.

Q Zhu

Pretty good pasta dishes. Massively overpriced wine. Pizzas and cheese are just ok.

Orxan Memmedov

Pasta with shrimp is so delicious and it is worth what it costs, loved this place

Trevin Christensen

If you plan on going with someone to eat, don’t plan on eating together. My wife ordered pasta and I ordered a pizza. The pizza came out pretty quickly but without the pasta. I don’t like eating without my wife, so I sat a little longer thinking hers would be right out. About 8-10 mins goes by and I politely ask if her food is almost done. The woman I talked to quickly went and found out what was taking so long, she then came back to our table and said that the pasta takes longer and that the pizza and pasta doesn’t come out at the same time because their two kitchens (the pasta and the pizza) don’t communicate with one another and that she was sorry that our waitress didn’t tell us that. What kind of restaurant doesn’t have kitchens that communicate? Our server also only visited our table twice. The first time we asked for 2 more mins. The 2nd visit which was about 10 minutes later was the last visit. Someone else brought our drinks and someone else brought out the pizza. Not once did she check on us and it looked like she had way to many tables and was In over her head. Bad experience.

I went here with my mom and both of us were surprised at how good the food was. We weren't expecting much from an Italian restaurant in the middle of NY, but they definitely did a good job with the service and the food. The line was a short wait and the food was pretty good. A little bit too salty. The serving sizes were just right but waiting for the food took a bit longer than I expected. The waiter checked on us a little too frequently, my conversations would get cut off. However, the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the restaurant was vibrant and lively, a great place for lunch with your family.

We stumbled in Eataly and had a really good time. We didn't purchase any of the groceries, but instead went to the Veno bar. Great experience! The Funghi E Taleggio pizza and Cesare salad were divine. This is a really cool Italian grocery store as they have really good authentic items and many other delicious authentic different forms of food.

I love this place. The food is amazing, the environment is fun and very friendly and the products are great. I always make an effort to go to their location near the Flatiron building whenever I’m in New York. But, yesterday I tried their location near World Trade Center and I was extreme disappointed with their service while waiting to order pasta. We had to wait 40 minutes for a table, which is understandable, but once we set, we waiting over 25 minutes to be assisted and I had to call three different servers to help us out. The worst of all is that I got an attitude from a waiter, for no reason, because he literally poured water and left, and the manager seemed like she didn’t care at all. Just apologized and all she did was give us some comment cards. I’ll never be back to this location. The staff needs to be trained better, they kept gossiping between each other in front of clients and laughing. And the service was horrible. Food was still amazing!

This is a truly wonderful place, one of my top favorite places in all of New York. They have a big variety of fresh and healthy foods, including seemingly unhealthy things like bread, pizza and pasta, which they elevate a LOT. The restaurant has an amazing ambiance (see photo), and when you go out you can get some of the best ice cream I've ever had (including Italy itself).

Margot Allor

Very nice place to buy whatever Italian ingredients you need to make great meals.

Went to get ice cream with my wife, great ice cream but we found a long beard hair embedded inside the ice cream. It was the same beard colour as the person who served, showed the people at the counter and they asked if we wanted another ice cream!!! WTH Is wrong with these people after you find hair in a ice cream they offer another ice cream like your appetite came back. We only asked for a refund on one of the ice cream, they hurried us away. My wife told them they need to invest in a beard net! Never ever again.... disgusted and horrors

Great food and quick & friendly service. Right in the heart of NYC near the World Trade Center, after shopping & sightseeing probably the best place to get an inexpensive bite to eat. Oh & the view is amazing.

So good!!! The mall entrance is deceiving, because this food complex is anything but “cookie cutter.” I ate at the more “upscale” restaurant in the back and service was great. Everyone was super nice and professional and the food quality was out of control good. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality of food and service. Will definitely make a point of coming back next time I’m in town or even double-dip on this trip. 5 stars.

Their staff will go out of their way to help you find what you need. I just had the store manager running from one aisle to another choosing from dough to cheese to help my pizza cooking project with my two-year-old. High quality of their products and a big selection of Italian goods.

We had a wondeeful service! Our server Alexander he was busy and still had the patiente to talk (with knowledge) with us about wine/apptz/food recommending the best so we where satisfied with the experience. Is one of the more pleasant experiences with se service so far in NYC. Love Eataly!!!!! Thanks again Alexander!

Came on lunch with a few coworkers. It was very busy but they took care of us in a timely manner. The place is a huge tourist attraction and add on it’s a grocery and food spot it’s bound to be super busy, especially on the weekends with it being over 100 degrees outside. What’s better than food and AC? Pizza Margarita was delicious. Although it’s nothing special you can’t take away the near perfection of the crust. Sauce was good and the cheese was fresh. Price was not great as I stated in a previous review, it’s expensive for a personal pie. But that’s to be expected when the place is located in the busy financial district. Burrata, prosciutto and olives. I hate olive so they were for my coworker, burrata was good but small. Shared it with 3 people and I was left with a desire for more but eh whatever. Prosciutto was delicious as always, can’t really mess that up. Eatly is a hot spot, I wouldn’t recommend the place if you’re going for a quick lunch. Expect there to be a wait time if you want to sit and eat. However there are a lot of quick bite throughout and it’s helpful during lunch. Side review, they sometimes on weekends have dollar oysters. As great as that sounds I can’t recommend it as the people shucking the oyster as not good at it. They tend to leave bits behind and you can slurp it in one shot. Also expect some shell residue to be left behind.

We ate at the pasta restaurant, we sat at the operations place just with the perfect view to the kitchen where the best Mexican chefs prepare the delicious food! Congratulations to the cookers!

At first they have a very cold and hard bread, they don’t have to many options for pastas te server was not helpful not recommended

The pizza and pasta is amoung the best I've had in NYC. I love the atmosphere and the opportunity to do a bit of food shopping after a good dinner. I wouldn't hesitate to return here again.

Cute store. Good views. Various authentic selections

Eataly heads use cheap tricks to lure customers to “fresh” food. Krill and lobsters are placed on beds of ice while alive and moving- suffering. All for the illusion of freshness. When asked why the animals must be displayed dying a slow death I was responded with a shrug. Awful and disturbing to see.

Good and comprehensive Italian supermarket. This downtown outpost of the company is good but expensive. Still, if you want Italian items or Italian prepared foods, you can’t beat the selection here.

Absolutely delicious food and fantastic atmosphere! I love the concept of this place.

Edit 10/18- Had a yummy pasta and few drinks. Classy restaurant area. Bumping to 5 stars. Friendly and quick to service staff. Staff was quick to accommodate my friends request for a customized dessert with mixed ice creams flavors. Pic Posted. Original Post- Magherita Pizza was yum. Bar Area is friendly. .

Cool modern italian market and food court with huge variety of italian products. Grocery items in general are extremely overpriced. For the italian items that you can find the exact same thing or equivalent quality in NYC, you can easily expect to pay in excess 50-100% or even more compared to local shops prices. Nice place with terrible value for money. The situation is more decent in the food court.

Krystyna Kulesza

Food was ok , but the misinformation about waiting time for the table need to change ☹️

gracie KS

Delicious food. Thought the place was a bit chilly but nothing major. Staff very efficient and nice, but the 'boss' was being the 'boss' in the floor of the restaurant telling staff to clear tables quicker which was unnecessary as they were already working hard and it looks unprofessional to throw your weight around in front of customers. So no stars for the boss but the rest of it was great!

Rennay Rennay

Really great food, it was really busy with a lot of people coming and going but the wait was quick and the staff was really polite and friendly!! Really liked, I didn’t drink wine and felt really bad for that, you should get at least a glass to fully enjoy the restaurant!!

This place is a delight on your senses. Sauces, relishes, pasta, desserts everything Italian is here. We ate at the food court. The pizzas were decent. My linguine con sugo di mare didnt quite rise to the expectation, while the rest seemed to like their pasta orders (ravioli, bocatelli). The canolis again were indistinct. The kids liked the gelato. The oysters from the bar were good (but youre not here for this). On the whole the food is a little underwhelming.

Jessica Lee

The food in the dine in section is incredible. The pasta is fresh and the portions are rightly sized. Highly recommend the spicy clam dish. The pizza is excellent as well. Our server was very slow though

Naga Peddibhotla

Excellent visit....great location...and decor...awesome food...great service...except a couple of folks...awesome oysters.... and great pasta.....

Fabian Diaz

Was there for some nice dinner. Food was actually pretty good. But service could get better. Order something never got to me. Then when I asked about it, they said that it was sent to our table. Obviously I didn't get it otherwise why would I ask about it.

The Best Focaccia and italian Pizza in NYC. Italian signed!

Mark Maizonnasse

Very nice location compared to the one in midtown a lot less crowded! Here i just removed one star because for the chocolate croissant, if you think you are going to have a pastry like in Europe you will be disappointed. Try the bambolini from midtown but that’s all. The hot chocolate here as well is great! Worth a detour.

Rachel Rinkesmith

not too busy on this Presidents’ Day. Got a couple nice treats for home.

We tried couple of slices and a pasta and found them to be extremely fresh and delicious - God Bless Mario Batali and Italian cuisine

Rafael Barros

Awesome place, fresh food, affordable prices... But it’s not well organized.

Shayna Abramson

Lovely store - well designed, with tons of imported authentic Italian products. There are several restaurants inside, each with a different cuisine: pizza, fish, pasta, gelato, coffee, and there's even a candy bar. There are a couple seating areas, with lots of attention to detail everywhere. Great products overall! One of the largest eatalies I've been in.

einav980

the place is very cool the food is not so much, we ended up being disappointed

Roja

I don’t understand why this place has good reviews. I have ordered a vegetarian pizza - $20 . The taste was really bad. **** A place To Avoid****

Danil Gontovnik

My fiancee and I came there for lunch. We both had pasta, and both were left disappointed. We are huge fans of Italian food and go to Italian restaurants almost weekly. It is a very rare case when we leave unhappy after eating pasta. This place seemed to be very tourist-focused with various attractions.
