We are full-time RVers with Harvest Host of which this winery is a registered host. What a wonderful place. The owners (Scott and Jen) as well as the staff (thank you chef), were phenomenal. The property, the food, the wine, and the hosts were all 5 star top notch experiences. A must for anyone even people who don't drink wine (they have beer)! Jenny and Mason were fantastic servers. Food is beyond expectation, generous portions and large menu. The grounds are serene, beautiful and welcoming. A true treat if you are in the area. I didn't have my dog this trip, but the outside grounds are also dog friendly!

We visited Round Lake Winery this afternoon. Christine S. was simply a delight!! She was very welcoming and patiently explained tastings and all of the different wines. We enjoyed the wine as well as the Tuna appetizer. Beautiful setting!

We have always enjoyed coming to the winery. Beautiful location & atmosphere. We live sitting outside on the patio in the summer sipping wine while listening to the running water of the pond and water feature. In the winter sitting by the fireplace is especially relaxing. Excellent venue to host an event at!

They have some excellent wines and an awesome food truck that makes great pizza. Staff were all friendly and helpful. A great venue for a party or special event!

Arrived at 735 and wanted wine samples and supper. Took 25 min to get first sample, ordered appetizer and supper. After 1 hr got our appetizer and we finally got rest of wine samples. Cancelled supper. Fantastic atmosphere. Didn't find any wines we liked. Too bad drove 2hrs to get there and so disappointed.

Such a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine! They have a wide variety and you can sample 5 wines for $5. Also super friendly staff and the owner even came up and gave some advice on what wines to try! Highly recommend driving out there to see for yourself.

If I could give this winery more stars I would. Great wines, and quite a variety, so there ia something for everyone. They can ship to Illinois which also a plus! We were there at the end of the evening and just were planing a quick tasting because they closed in about 30 minutes after we got there. I think we were the about an hour and a half and had great conversation with the owners. We had a very enjoyable time. Great place to visit.

My daughter discovered this "gem" while searching the internet for an wedding venue. My husband and I went to check it out and knew right away this was the perfect place for a wedding. Casual, welcoming, and tastefully laid out! Looking forward to many an afternoon lakeside!

I actually saw the sign on I-90 for this place and I thought to myself, "Ooh, that sounds lovely." The universe must have wanted me and my family to soak this place in because our RV got a flat and we ended up having to pull over. Thank God! My 2 young kids (10 and 2) had a blast. The atmosphere is out of this world; it's beautiful and serene. There is a lake and the vineyards and lots of water ponds and fountains. I would think this is a beautiful place for a wedding. Plenty of open space, another building across the large parking lot, and of course, the restaurant. The food was amazing, it was fresh and the best meal I've had traveling through Minnesota. The beet ketchup was lovely and my kids really enjoyed the pizza. Our server Jessica was very sweet and explained the wine menu perfectly to us novice wine drinkers. The managers let us hang out here for almost 4 hours as we waited for our tow truck. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. If you're going to be stranded somewhere, why not a winery? Better yet though, if you want to come to a winery that puts California to shame, come here.

It is a beautiful venue and I’m sure their wines must be good...wouldn’t know as we never got service. It was very busy so I can understand to an extent however we walked in and stood for at least 15 minutes without so much as a hello let alone “how can I help you?” I had to initiate any type of conversation at all! We are from Baltimore and were traveling across the country. We like to try wineries in different states and buy a few bottles to a case to take with us. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try this one! Very disappointed!!! Any kind of hospitality at all would have likely kept us there to try the wines and probably eat since the food that was rushing by us at the door as we waited for someone to initiate contact looked good!

Great food and wine. Beautiful place but don't go if there's a wedding that day. They were short staffed at the tasting room and we literally had to get up and grab a waitress to get them to take our order. We also had to drink their great wine out of small disposable plastic glasses as they had used up all their glass glasses.
