Parley Lake Apple Orchard is a nice place visit for outdoor fun. Liked their sculptures and outdoor area.

Hmm well I have mixed feelings about this place.. got a small bag of apples for $25 which is a bit expensive. But I understand that cost can be more when it's not directly from a market. I also really enjoyed the tractor ride to and from the apple farm... However I got very sick- throwing up multiple times after eating their apple samples. I don't think they were washed or Idk because I've thrown up multiple times

Went there the first time last fall. I consider this winery to be my top 3 favorite wineries in Minnesota. I liked it so much that I joined the wine club. Heading there later today.

Went to the winery with my wife, my brother-in-law and his wife on Saturday. We had the Minnesota Wine Passports, and we decided to do a tour of the three wineries in Waconia. Of the three, this was our second favorite. The wines were pretty good, the winery is beautiful, but the person helping us with our tasting (Harry) came across as slightly off-putting. He gave decent information about the wines, but often seemed annoyed at questions we had and when he answered them talked like we didn't know anything. We did enjoy the music that was being played (it was a big band playing swing music), and the art around the grounds is pretty cool (especially the “Tool Shed” piece).

Nifty location & friendly staff. The wines weren’t to our liking, but tastes vary and will be back to try again over time.

Good variety of wines. And they have other beverages if wine isn't your thing. They host a lot of theme weekends including bands and local small business merchants.

I went for the first time and enjoyed it. The openness of the scenery made me feel like I was on my own retreat. Seeing the horses that came up close to me was also incredible. Statues all around gave me yet another reason to take pictures to post. I say while the weather is still good, GO VISIT #ParleyLakeWinery I will post pics from my great experience on #LorrieLean social pages. #CheckItOut =)

It's a quick drive from Minneapolis to the "Waconia Wine Country" and Parley Lake is closest of the three! I might be biased as the tasting room manager... I love Parley Lake Wines and the old farm atmosphere and restored 1880's era barn make for a unique experience.

My husband and I discovered parley lake winery by accident. We were having lunch with my grandpapa in Victoria, and after an arboretum visit, we decided to explore. We came across parley lake and decided to stop in. The water isn’t free. However the wines are delish. The wine tasting includes three pours and a full glass of wine. My favorite part was the free portraits (tips appreciates), it was a major differentiator between other wineries.

Delicious Frontenac wines. Actually all their wines are delicious! If you like Marquette and Frontenac wines and amazing views, you will love this place!

Love this place when it’s open - but please, you need to get it updated here that you are not open for the season now! It says open, and we just made the trip only to find that you are closed.

Beautiful drive into the grounds. Parking is okay, small confusion as to which way to go to the buildings & seating. Friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. Our group liked that the wine selection was not overwhelmingly huge. We were able to not only taste all the offerings, but we also had a full glass of our favorite included in the tasting. Seating area outside was comfortable and casual with various sculptures scattered throughout. Recommend this lovely place for a quiet afternoon & great bottle of wine.

Enjoyed the art festival we did there with a friend. Good wines, nice live music. Look forward to going back in the fall for apples.

My wife and I make it a yearly tradition to come here in the fall and do some sampling. The location is gorgeous, and they always have some new wine to try made with MN grapes.

I work at Parley Lake Winery, so I'm biased, but it is an awesome place to hang out. We have many award-winning wines available for tasting, glasses, or bottle purchase. Our tasting room is in a beautiful 1880's barn and our grounds are beautiful. We have many sculptures on-site including the larger-than-life Goddess of the Grapes. We usually have food trucks and live music on Saturdays and Sundays, so check the website before you come out. It's a great place to hang out with friends. I get asked all the time which is my favorite wine... try the Marquette!

Had to be south of the Cities and decided to use the $29 face value of a 2013 Groupon. Should not have been a problem but, still, did not know what to expect. Did not turn out to be a problem and staff very gracious; just had to figure out how to redeem it. Winery was very busy by the time we left with many people enjoying the vineyard, orchard , seating, and beautiful day. Tasted 6 wines in the tasting. Wine average but very drinkable and Marquette very nice. Would return if looking for a nice way to spend a fun afternoon with the family.

I just recently brought 15 girls to Parley Lake for a bachelorette party. It was a wonderful experience. Parley Lake Winery was very accomodating for our large party and everyone enjoyed themselves. Their tasting options were great, and their service was superb! I highly recommend Parley Lake Winery!

We picked grapes a week ago...helping with the harvest was awesome. The wood fired pizza was quite good, and the wine was so good. Music was very enjoyable and the art is unbelievable. It is such a laid back, friendly place without pretense...just great wine and rustic ambience. They are generous, hardworking people who just happen to make excellent wines!

Nice setting. Cute setup. Orchard has overpriced and small apples. Worth a visit just not often. There are better values out there.

It doesn't get much better than the folks at Parley Lake Winery. They are our friends, partners, neighbors and advocates of Waconia Wine Country! Their highly regarded Minnesota wines, charming setting, and amazing group of people are inspirational and make us proud to have them as part of our community. Be sure to make a day-trip out of your visit and stop by Sovereign Estate and Schram Vineyards Winery and Brewery on your visit to Waconia. All three wineries have a unique ambiance and atmosphere and are all within a 5 mile radius of each other. Cheers!

If I had posted a review a year ago or two, I would have a very different comment. This fall I invited my two grandchildren and daughter-in-law to accompany me to the orchard/winery. In previous years I noticed many families using the red wagons to tote their children around. We loaded our babies into a wagon and were approached by a sour faced woman that told my daughter-in-law, "Yeah, so if you would just take that wagon back down to the pumpkins that would be great." So now we're carrying an 18 month that's too tired to walk and heavy. For all the other times we went and enjoyed our experience this was NOT a good experience. Needless to say, my family was not impressed and we left.

Andrew Fyten

Great wines, one of my favorite of theirs is the Frontenac Gris. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners.
