I tried this place out based on a Groupon, best deal ever. However, honestly 90% of the wine was flavorless and just blah. The most noticeable issue was that they had no real flavor from aging in the barrels. The biggest plus to visiting here was by far the staff. This was the most organized vinyard I have ever been to. They have an excellent dessert wine that is worth checking out all by itself. Personally I dont plan on going back anytime soon, but I'll check back in a few years.

My friend got married over the weekend and for the price it cost for the space my expectations were a bit higher. Attention to detail is lacking as well as cleanliness. The tablecloths were very wrinkly, there were old plastic cups under the flooded patio, random stacked benches in the front entrance, the bridal suite was so musty the groom had to run out for air freshner, old dirty dusters behind the door, ladybugs and centipedes all over the floors and ceilings, and the list continues. 3 stars because this place seems like a small family owned business and has so much potential!

I hesitate to write a review here..........because this place is an absolute GEM and a selfish part of me would love to be able to walk in there anytime and experience the warmth and casual loveliness of Next Chapter Winery that we shared last night. What was a surprise "date night" for my hubby of 34 years, turned into a most memorable experience for both of us. The welcome smile and genuine friendly attention from Shana (by the way, you're gonna do great there Shana!- it's your "next chapter".) while we wine tasted and nibbled on cheeses and crackers and hearty pizza was charming and perfectly suited to the wine tasting room. 2nd to the customer service, but needs to be noted, is the essence in which the wine room has been finished. The rustic wood walls and planked wooden floors anchored by their galvanized steel top wooden bar invite you to stay and be "comfy". We love this place and found some fabulous wines to take home with us too! We thank you for your courage to answer the call of "The Next Chapter" of your lives Timothy & Therese. One of the best Midwest winery I've been to. The staff is really friendly and helpful. My fiance and I tried six different wines on the menu thanks to a groupon that we purchased and they were all quite delicous. The cranberry burst is one of their best sellers and I can see why. The area is also very quaint and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

I am not sure where these positive reviews are coming from. It took 15 minutes before someone even stopped by our table. This was after we watched other tables get served wine multiple times. Finally someone comes by, leaves us some glasses and a single menu. After another 5 minutes we finally left. I have never seen such slow serve and it seemed very unorganized.

We had our wedding at Next Chapter in July 2016, and it was wonderful. We got so many compliments from guests about the scenic, fun location and we felt the price was reasonable. Jackie is laid-back and great to work with! She responded to countless emails from us with random questions and even acted happy to see us when we popped in multiple times over the course of the year...with even more questions. ;) Of course we always had to sample the wine whenever we stopped in! We've also purchased several bottles for home because it's tasty, but that won't stop us from going back to visit and relive our magical day. For anyone looking to do a wedding here, do it! And in case it's helpful: we used Velvet Touch for catering, Stargazer Designs for decorations/flowers, Patty's Place for cake, and Instant Request for DJ, so all of them are familiar with the venue and good to work with. Depending on the size of the wedding, parking could be tight, so we did shuttles to/from nearby hotels and our guests really appreciated it.

I agree with others, this winery just keeps getting better. We love taking a weekend drive and finding ourselves here to relax and enjoy a great glass of wine. I had suggested Next Chapter to a friend who had a large group of family members coming for a reunion. She called to see if they could come for the atmosphere and wine while bringing some of there own picnic food. Next Chapter was accommodating and I hear everyone was very impressed with the staff, the location, and of course the great wine!

Beautiful place for a date, adult family time, or relaxing. Exquisite wines! Extremely friendly staff and animals (especially the little white puppy dog). I hear it is even more beautiful in the summer. The atmosphere is very peaceful. I haven't seen an event here, but I can assume it would be perfect.

Wow! I personally have never really liked any of the local vineyard wines. Always a little too sweet for me. A customer told me they were heading down there, and I googled while they were here. The 1st thing that came up was a Groupon, so I bought the Groupon and they came back with a bottle of wine for me. OMG...It was DELICIOUS!. I mean...fantastic! I was so impressed, and noted on the website that they did wine and painting! Called a friend who lives in Fairbault and we met there yesterday. I cannot say enough about the vibe, the beauty, the amazing customer service, feeling right at home....and then there is THE WINE. I loved the Groom that I was delivered, but then....the Marquette!! Wait....then the Cabernet!! I couldnt choose, so I brought home 2 bottles of all 3! Its not fair to make a choice! GO! Go go go. Its an experience that you will thoroughly enjoy! My girlfriends and I are now making it a monthly get together...fits into our busy schedules and is a hallway point for us (I live in Burnsville) Thank you Jackie, Jeff and Parker, too! We will see you again soon! <3

It's an adorably rustic venue with wonderfully fantastic wines. My spouse and I were gifted a Groupon for here and we were very pleased with the experience. The service is friendly, and the wine is really top notch. Their Cabernet Sauvignon and the Merlot are utterly fantastic, and their "most popular" cranberry wine is a wine experience unlike anything I've tried before, definitely worth a go for supporting Minnesota wineries.

Stopped in to check this place out. Overall good wine. We only order a couple of glasses vs. doing a tasting. Order a Zin and Cab both were good. The service was slow but, it too was a holiday weekend. The patio area outside is large but, could use some up keeping. Propane tank in clear view of a fire pit. The sitting area could be so much better if cleaned up.

Next Chapter Winery is the all around best winery I've visited. Each time I visit I leave joyful (not just because of the wine). The staff is friendly and the owner is knowledgable and has a passion for the wine they make. The vineyards right outside the winery and tasting room are beautiful. The events hosted by the winery have been lovely and the event spaces paired with good Minnesota wines (a combination I didn't know existed before Next Chapter) make this a premier venue and winery.

This place is great, if your looking for a real farm experience while learning enough about wine to affect your taste-buds you've got to stop by. Inspire your entrepreneurial spirit and enable yourself to evoke the farmer within you by attending a harvest session. I learned everything from vine tending and picking to stomping, pressing and nuance of grape variety flavors. Once you're through you'll know your favorite MN hearty grape and you'll understand the perspective of a vintner. SO nice to have within a short trip from the cities! I learned so much, it was a great experience!

Absolutely beautiful. The grape vines take on their own decorative presence everywhere. The classic wines (chardonnay, white zin, etc.) are classically done. The wedding themed flavors were my favorite, and the blackberry. Staffers were very pleasant. Also, they have apps!

My husband and I had the opportunity to cater a wedding at the winery for family friends. I can't say enough good things about every single staff member we dealt with. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly.Wines were delicious. I can't wait to visit again for a tasting and to sample one of their small plates. Highly recommend this location. If you get a chance to visit with Timothy do so. He is fascinating to talk to!

We had our wedding at Next Chapter Winery over Labor Day weekend and everything was absolutely perfect! We worked with Jackie leading up to our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to work with! She was very responsive, accommodating and very easy to work with! The day before and day of our wedding, all of the staff working, especially Chuck, really helped pull everything together and made the night magical! I would HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous venue!
