Lovely ambiance: the birds were chirping, the creek was babbling and the mimosas were bubbling! It was a great way to usher in early spring. The brunch was delicious. We highly recommend the eggs benny pizzette. The waitress we had was very friendly, personable and attentive to details.

We went in on Saturday with a large group and right away the lady (whom I found out was part owner) was completely annoyed with our group, told us we could not sit by the fire pit, we could NOT order the sampler and did not offer menu. She said she needed to know we were coming and the person who set it up said he called several times days in advance to tell them about the LARGE group and no one returned the call. Bottom line, HORRIBLE customer service. Who would not be happy to make $$$$$$$$ on a large group? I found out several people were so turned off by the RUDE behavior of the co-owner that when she came to take their order they said, "No thank you we have two other winery's and we will order from there. Never again will I give them my business! worst service ever!

I still am shaking my head. We were sitting under some foliage that the birds enjoyed and they dropped presents on our table and menu. So we moved to another table, the waitress came back and commented that we had moved, we told her why, so she reached over, grabbed the menu, shook off the bird poop and then threw the menu back onto our new table. We promptly paid our bill and as we were leaving she bussed the table, grabbed the menu and most likely put back into rotation for the next, unsuspecting patron.

Morgan Creek Winery is a delight... great wines, beautiful setting and wonderful people. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly... evenings around the fire bowl or summer days under the big oak... golden moments abound. The wine selection will find something to suit every taste and the pizzas from the outdoor wood oven take me back to my travels in Europe. Paula & Georg have a deep love for their vineyard & winery... that energy can be felt when you visit Morgan Creek.

Morgan Creek offers a true, authentic, European-feel experience. I've visited several wineries in the region and found the ambience, selection and hospitality that Morgan Creek offers to be absolutely exemplary. The award-winning wine selection pairs beautifully with the fresh, delicious menu that features local artisan breads and fresh herbs and cheeses. The creek and the grounds provide a glorious setting for an afternoon outside, either under the oak tree, or picnicking on the hill. Evenings around the fire-pit are great too! The Martis have created a true-gem here where friends and family feel welcomed and invited in. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. Or, make a special trip! You won't be disappointed.

Georg and Paula Marti understand hospitality and they do it well. The summer nights with a fire in the burning bowl, listening to a little piano or jazz , sipping wine and enjoying a wood-fired pizza, makes a visit to Morgan Creek the total package...something for all the senses. I love the setting, and the big oak tree has a special place in my heart...my daughter had her wedding there in 2014. You should go. Try the Colure, it's my favorite.
