Loved it here! Finally got a day away from the kids to do a wine tasting. First winery we've been to and we didn't find a wine we didn't like! The staff was really helpful and informative. We will definitely be back!

This 1 star review is solely for the owner. Upon our arrival she made a terrible scene of yelling at the gentleman who drove our bus to this winery. This winery does not typically allow buses. However, the owner specifically told us this would be acceptable and said she would talk with the company who was bringing us to give them specific instructions. However, as he was dropping us off and about to move out of the way, the owner became irate about him blocking her driveway, and proceeded to make a loud scene in regards to his presence. This gave us a terrible impression. The staff (Kevin specifically), atmosphere, and wine was incredible! I recommend coming to this place, as long as you do not have to deal with the owner. Extremely poor professionalism on her part.

White wines are amazing! Reds are more for someone who likes the malbec blends. Country red is amazing for all kinds of people. Dessert reds are great! Some more sweet than others. They do full list tastings Fri from 11-530 for $30. Fully worth it. Usually 12 to try. Also has the option to do a custom tasting at $1.50 per wine. 0.5 oz pours. Owner is around and a great host to talk to. Will be back!

Wow. What a terrible first impression caused by the owner of this winery. I was shocked by the way she yelled at our driver. It was very uncomfortable for our group and I’m sure everyone else at the vineyard. You can refer to the many other reviews put up by my friends who were along for this fun bridal shower. I don’t want to take away from how great the staff and atmosphere was. But the owner needs to know how unacceptable it is to treat guests to her winery in this way. Hopefully these reviews will catch her attention! There are better ways to communicate, how you would like things run, than belligerently screaming.

The lovely lady and I stopped in on a chilly Sunday recently, and we absolutely loved our experience here. The wines were delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and we were treated like family. We were lucky enough to meet Nan, and she is an absolutely delightful person who obviously knows her stuff. We will definitely be back!

Good wine in an idyllic setting. The wine tasting room and shop are quite nice as is the staff. Play bocce or bean bag toss next to the vineyards. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and have a bottle of wine for a relaxing afternoon.

Excellent looking vineyard with tons of room to relax and enjoy along with an excellent sampling atmosphere. We purchased some vineyard grapes on the way out and those were absolutely amazing. By far the best grapes I have ever tasted. However, during our sampling experience we tried all 10 of their wines available and all of them were sub par at best. Very disappointed in the wines as I don't understand how you turn such good grapes into such bad wine. The experience and grapes is what earned them the two stars, not the wine.

Have been going here for years now. The wine is good and we have always enjoyed the atmosphere until today. As the place was closing and we were getting our stuff to leave an employee proceeded to start being extremely rude to our party. We were near the bocce courts and kids had been playing in them the entire time we were there. The kids in our group had spent very little time in the courts and the employee starts to blame our group for all the disarray on the courts. Knowing that yes our kids were over in that area we start to help straighten up the courts more to be helpful rather than out of responsibilities and she just kept going on about how the kids needed to be supervised. We never left our kids unattended which is why we are aware that they were not the ones responsible for the mess. She was way out of line and no one in our party will be back. Too bad for them we were one of the few groups of people that were there today and we really like to buy wine for our group to enjoy. I guess they are doing so well that they don't need our money So we will go some place else for our annual get together.

I don't personally drink wine, so I can't speak to that, but the others in my party said it's very good. If nothing else, the store and tasting area are in a very beautiful setting. So if you have some wine drinkers, bring them here for a tasting and some great hospitality in a beautiful country setting that's not a far drive from the city.

I didn't know they were the first winery in Minnesota. Very nice place, good dessert wines. They don't have many sweet, fruity wine's if that's what you like, but we liked the Gris wine.

Nice setting and great people. No sweet wines for those who enjoy the sweet variety. Great staff but I'm not a fan of the walk up bar tasting set-up. It seems inefficient, inconvienant for guests, and it gets frustrating. Overall decent place if you're looking for a winery in the area and you don't mind drier wines!

A nice place to visit if you're interested in wine. Though it's not a large winery, they offer a pretty good variety of wines (about 16). Most of their wines are towards the dryer side; not too dry with a smooth finish. The outdoor ambiance makes it inviting - you can pack a picnic lunch, or have any of their cheeses as you relax with friends and family, sipping wine and listening to music. The associates were very nice and friendly. A nice place to put on your local winery list.

You can refer to Rachel Miller’s review. I was the bride for this fun event, which was unfortunately disrupted by the owner. The winery itself was beautiful and the staff were excellent! However, our visit was very uncomfortable due to her disruptive and uncalled for rant upon our arrival. Shame on the owner for behaving in this way.

Wonderful place! The owners treat you like family, and if you go often enough you'll feel like family. The wine is good and they have a wide selection with a few specialties (chocolate reserve and ice wine). There are tables for picnics, large mental sculptures, and bocce ball court. But parking is limited. Show up early on the weekend to get a spot.
