We have been to 7 Vines Vineyard multiple times to enjoy the beautiful ambience inside and outside. With the rolling hills of grapevines for the landscaping, and the unique architecture inside, creating many open spaces with beautiful wooden beams, plus small, intimate settings around the cozy fireplaces, it creates the perfect setting for a vineyard. We recently held a very successful private event at 7 Vines. From the beginning planning stages with Janee, Lorah, and the very accommodating, knowledgeable staff, to the end of the evening, our guests enjoyed an exceptional experience. Wine tasting was a very big hit, with the favorite choice being the True North Blend. The fun of gathering and talking with friends in such a beautiful environment was so amazing, that no one wanted to leave. Again, thank you 7 Vines, and thank you staff for staying overtime for us to savor this special time. Cheers to 7 Vines Vineyard! Thank you all!

We have been to almost every winery in Minnesota (over 45 wineries) and wanted to check this one off the list, so we drove a couple hours to check it out, and though the grounds and tasting room were simply gorgeous, the experience was rather disappointing. The website says it offers 6 or 7 wines, which I thought was minimal, but when we got there we were presented with only two options and really only one option for us, as we prefer to only drink reds. I don't know how a winery can be successful and keep people coming back with only two wines to choose from. Another couple who was there when we were there were also shocked that there were only two wines to choose from. We've never been to a winery with fewer than eight wines, so this was very odd to only have two wines to choose from. I think with the grounds and tasting room, this could be on it's way to being a top winery, but it needs to get more wine options in order to be a winery. We may check it out again in a couple years, once it has had time to grow.

The venue is gorgeous, required very little decorations and working with Lorah was amazing. Everything went without a hitch, and the vendors we used from the recommended list were exceptional.

We recently held our corporate dinner at 7VV. It was simply amazing! The room was set beautifully with our table positioned near the windows for a gorgeous view. The wines were superb and perfectly paired with our wonderful dinner that was catered by Lake Elmo Inn. Our sommelier Joanna was so knowledgeable and did a fantastic job explaining the winemaking process. The tour was very interesting and we all learned something new about the process of winemaking along with a little history of the land. Pam and Lorah were fabulous hosts. It truly was a memorable night. Outside of this event, we have enjoyed stopping in from time to time for a glass of wine and visiting with bartender Janel who also has done an amazing job everytime we have visited. Thank you 7VV!

We had our wedding at 7 Vines vineyard 6/21/19 and it couldn't have been any more perfect! Everything went so smoothly thanks to Laura & Pam. They are experts at this and really helped make sure every detail was covered during our meetings. The venue is absolutely beautiful- if you haven't seen it in person you must go visit! Our guests absolutely loved it, and the large outdoor patio area is such a great place for cocktail hour. The reception room is so beautiful on its own, you barely need any decorations besides centerpieces. Thank you Laura & Pam for helping us plan our dream wedding!

We just got married on Oct. 4th 2019 and I would 100% do this again with 7 Vines! Lorah was a dream to work with since we decided on booking our wedding here. She orchestrated everything and made it so easy. The day of we had Pam as our day of coordinator and she was amazing!! Made sure to deal with any drama or bumps in the road with ease - they really did make our special day so amazing. Not to mention the property and building are GORGEOUS!! We had SO many compliments on the venue - from the grounds and building, the outdoor ceremony, the area for cocktail hours and the reception area. We barely needed any decorating because the venue itself is just beautiful. There are also SO many places to take photos here I don't even think we got to all of them but I am SO excited to see how they turn out. I love that we can go back and have a glass of wine and appetizers any time we'd like and relive the memories of our big day. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone!!

We arrived shortly after it opened and found a table. It was at least 15 minutes before our server came to our table and, in the meantime, she served three other tables that arrived after we did. We received our flight and after checking on us once to order food and we weren’t ready, she didn’t return for a very long time. We actually decided to leave and not order any food because the service was so awful. It was such a disappointment because it was my first time there and I had been looking forward to it.

Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I am not a huge wine fan, but we did a tasting of three wines they had. The people I was with who enjoyed wine liked two of them, and I liked the one with the grapes they grew on the grounds (although my wine friends weren't particularly fond of it). It is a beautiful building and setting. I'll come here again to get some work done and to relax. Highly recommended! Also - they did have some food options to go with the wine. Hopefully this cold weather doesn't kill of their grapes!

My son’s wedding became the most magical event imaginable, at 7 Vines Vineyard. The setting provided such a warm and inviting atmosphere, with glowing fireplaces framed by birch stands, amidst beautiful holiday decorations! Beyond that, we had a highly professional staff person named Lorah Palmer, who was attentive to every detail in her efficient and friendly way. So many of our guests also commented on the delicious food provided by Donatelli’s. Honestly, the evening was perfect..and we highly recommend 7 Vines Vineyard to make your dreams for a special wedding come true!

Better late than never. We had the most beautiful wedding at 7 Vines Vineyard last September 2018! Our guests still rave about what a wonderful venue it was, with the most breathtaking back drop. Completely secluded but still a quick trip from the airport for out of town guests. We live in California with guests attending from the Bay Area, and we all agreed it felt like we were in Napa/Sonoma (at a much lower cost!) Lorah is absolutely fabulous, very accommodating and great to work with. The preferred vendors were also so great and highly recommended! I would definitely recommend this venue!

We decorated minimally with flowers and plants, to allow the beauty of the venue to shine. What a great experience! We had a bridal/bachelorette party here for a few hours in the evening, and it was a beautiful setting. We had a few glasses of wine inside and out of the event center, and it was very relaxing. The outdoor tables near the fireplace were amazing. Very disappointed. There is no tastings in which I can sample before purchasing. The flights are pre selected without substitutions. The service was below par in which the napkins and silverware had to be requested. The food was burnt. Only good point was when the MGR removed the food from the bill. Expected better!!!

We were here for a work party. The venue is beautiful, there are lots of little spots to sit and talk both inside and outside. The staff seemed very attentive and it was quite clean and lovely. Even on our cold and cloudy wedding day, it was beautiful and the indoor areas were warm and inviting. Lorah and her team were great to work with through the entire planning process. They were so organized and always helped to make sure we were thinking of all the details we needed to consider. This attention to detail ensured that our wedding day went smoothly without any issues, and I am so thankful for that! We used Complete Beverage and Donatelli’s, both off the preferred vendor list, and they were amazing as well. All of the vendors worked together seamlessly to create an amazing day. We continue to get compliments on all aspects of our wedding day, and I absolutely recommend 7 Vines! I love that we can go back and enjoy the tasting room too, will be a great way to celebrate our anniversary next year!

Some wineries take themselves way too seriously for my taste, but 7 Vines is a very approachable and non-pretentious place. And the wine was delicious! I loved being able to serve Minnesota wine from the vineyard at the wedding! The unique vineyard space offered something for everyone, from sitting by the fire on a beautiful evening to dancing the night away on the dance floor in the reception room. And the wedding coordinator, Lorah, is a rock star! She is an absolute expert when it comes to weddings and made me feel calm and confident throughout the entire planning process, from the initial discussions and recommended vendor sheets, to the day of the ceremony where she kept everyone on time and made it a worry-free day! She handled it all! The venue and the resources and staff provided made for a wonderful wedding that the everyone could enjoy!

LOVE love LOVE this historical estate new-in-town winery with a beautiful family story for the 'why' this venue exists in the community. Beautiful venue with amazing craftsmanship in the architecture and design throughout the venue. The tasting room is comfortable and relaxing, and weekends often include live music to enjoy while sipping wine with friends. Always greeted with a warm 'hello, welcome!' -- so very personable. Our end of eve service is bookended with top-notch hospitality inclusive of ease-of-payment option on portable iPads using square so receipts can be printed or sent digitally. We have been back here numerous times as we enjoy the personable, casual and comfortable atmosphere, local wine and gracious service. A jewel in the Midwest to experience and have on your 'frequent' list!

We threw a bridal shower in a private room at 7 Vines and it was absolutely lovely. The building has lots of stone and is a very attractive structure. The grounds are quite lovely with the young vineyard. We tasted three wines plus a sparkling wine, all of which were lovely, but the sparkling wine was to die for! Perhaps the best part, though, was the staff. Warm, friendly, helpful, efficient, they helped to make the shower a very special occasion. I would recommend 7 Vines to anyone.

During the months leading up to the wedding we had several meetings with our 7 Vines coordinator Amy who was amazing in the planning process and day of details. All the suggested vendors we used were also so great. And the venue itself is stunning. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and was the perfect place for a winter wedding - we got married in a blizzard, which made the winery even more cozy and romantic. Lorah has been so great to us, and made our wedding day as stress-free as possible. I would not have changed a thing about our day at 7 Vines!

We hosted a corporate event last week for 70 people and it was a great success! We used the large room as meeting space in the morning and afternoon. We were comfortable with room to spare using half round seating facing the fireplace and large hearth. The sound system and large screen TV’s were fantastic for a portion of the meeting during which we showed a video. We used Donatelli’s for catering lunch and food stations for a heavy appetizer social after the meeting. We moved into the Tasting room for both the lunch and social which was a perfect mingling space. Between the meeting and social, Lorah provided a history of the property and winery. We then treated our attendees to wine tasting and a tour of the winery. Our meeting attendees greatly appreciated the atmosphere and have asked for more meetings at 7 Vines Vineyard!

GORGEOUS winery and vineyard!! They are now offering rebound fitness classes with High Five Fit on Tuesday nights along with their super fun Trivia night! Beautiful as a wedding venue. The building and grounds are well kept and there's plenty of space. I will say though, that the open, vaulted ceilings make the drone of the party super loud, so it was hard to talk to the people next to you. The catering staff does need to work on how to get plates out to hungry wedding goers in a more timely fashion.

My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding that took place at 7 Vines Vineyard. It was the only venue we visited and as soon as we stepped inside we knew it was the venue for us. The dark wood and high ceilings are gorgeous - not to mention the sprawling vineyard right outside! Lorah and Pam were great leading up to the wedding, and even better the day of. Gorgeous facility and grounds. Staff (wait and bar) need a ton of work. Unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. Been here 5 or 6 times and the consistency of terrible service prompted a review at this point. As a consumer to visit a wine bar and be looked down upon and have staff act too busy to address you is a joke. The blonde curly hair bartender woman is the worst. If you go you will see beautiful grounds and building and good wine, but be treated as if they wish you wouldn't have come.

I was present at the very first wedding at 7 Vines Vineyard at the beginning of October and the venue is breathtaking, private and has a wonderful history and “love story”. The venue has 2 fireplaces, fire flame and a fire pit with amazing views of the vines, woods, and pond. There are private patios to enjoy the outdoors as well as views of the stainless steel tanks and the winery operation. The wedding was private and closed to the public.

I stopped in with my daughter-in-law yesterday she was visiting from out of state and we felt so welcomed! As we walked in someone said, “Hi, just sit anywhere, we’ll be right with you.” We had a five star seat right in front of the burning fireplace. We waited over 10 minutes until an employee acknowledged us. They were not busy - we observed multiple employees chatting with one another. The wines we had (5 different kinds total) were OK - nothing special, and overpriced. We would have preferred a wine tasting vs wine flight. That being said, the atmosphere is beyond amazing. What an absolutely stunning vineyard! This is the absolute perfect, classy-yet-relaxed spot to grab a tasting or glass of wine (or two!) with your SO or small group of friends. It's conveniently located between White Bear Lake and Stillwater, too! A friend found an awesome Groupon they were doing (super reasonable tour + wine tasting!), so a group of 6 of us came on a Thursday evening. Our host was SO incredibly knowledgeable, and shared so many interesting factoids with us. You can tell the people who work here really care about what they do! Wine was absolutely delicious - seriously. SO GOOD. Can't wait to come back!

I had my husband's 70th birthday party AT 7VV on August 20th. It surpassed my wildest dreams. Everything was perfect. I selected 7 VV because it's a beautiful venue; and kept with the theme "like fine wine, aged to perfection". Working with Lorah Palmer and her staff was a real pleasure....they were helpful and resourceful . The night of the party they made sure everything was exactly as planned providing oversight to last minute details. I selected the Lake Elmo Inn (an approved vendor) and the food was superb. The 7VV wines we selected were a big hit. The band, Mercy Wildfire played dance music and were awesome. 7VV is beautiful... but it is spectacular in the evening. Add family, special friends, great wine with music and you have a winning combination.

We held our fifth annual fundraiser at 7 Vines Vineyard this year and had a fantastic experience working with their event planner and managerial staff. At every step along the planning and execution phases, they were professional and polite and handled every request with grace. Our attendees were impressed with the venue. It is rich in detail and makes a person feel very welcome and comfortable. There are plenty of places to sit and nooks to gather, in addition to the large gathering spaces; the architect and owners deserve great kudos in their thoughtfulness in the space design. The landscape is serene and peaceful; you couldn't ask for a better location for an event. Parking was plentiful and despite the 12 hours of constant snowfall before and throughout our event, the staff ensured that the parking lot and sidewalks were clear for our guests. I highly recommend 7 Vines Vineyard for any special event!

7 Vines is a unique venue in Minnesota. I like how they focus on quality wine and innovative northern grapes that are becoming more common in recent years. I got the underground tour from Brian the wine guy and was very impressed. He works a lot with cutting edge wine and grape people at the U of M and he worked with wine in New Zealand so he knows his stuff. They took the time and invested in a quality wine experience from processing of grapes to aging the wine in barrels. I am a wedding and event photographer and the event planners I work with at 7 Vines I have already worked with at multiple other venues so I already know them and trust them. They have hosted some very high profile events already and although they are quickly developing a reputation as one of the best vineyards in the state, I only expect them to keep getting better.
