My husband stopped by there during our trip to Petoskey. We each tried five maple wines and really enjoyed them. You can taste 5 wines for $8 and you get to keep the glass. I highly recommend the blueberry wine or ginger hard cider.

Great wine. Great syrup. Great atmosphere. Great family. Will tell anyone that listens that Maple Gold is one of the top 10 wines I've ever tried. Everyone should check it out. I guarantee you will find something you like.

Wow, I was SO impressed with the addition of the Wine Tasting Room. After seeing the pictures on the website - I couldn't wait to see the finished product. It is beautiful! And then, I tasted the wine... What a treat! This is a lovely property, the business is family owned and operated, and it shows. I love the fact that even the younger children help with the chores associated with making this all work. If you've never visited the Maple Moon Sugary and Winery, you should. The experience will be memorable, and you will fall in love with this family.

We have made it a point to stop in when ever we are up north as we are from Ann Arbor, all the wines are great, the syrups are phenomenal and the ginger cider is to die for. We always bring back something new and fun from here and both sure what her name is but the young lady that helped us is smoking hot and very knowledgeable about the history and products, we will be back and hope to see her again

We had a wonderful time at Maple Moon! Though the sugary has been open for several years, but the winery just opened in June. My wife and I sampled wine while the kids ate ice cream. Then we took a tour of the maple syrup production facilities (FREE!) where we got to sample the syrup, sugar, and candy. We bought a few bottles of their maple-fruit wines which were incredibly unique. We also brought home a bottle of bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. My personal favorite product was the Maple-Ginger Hard Cider, which is only available on-site. I wish I would have brought a cooler so I could have kept a growler of it cold on the way home. This is a good place to visit with or without children. Our kids enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about maple syrup.

Cute little location with a fantastic selection of an interesting idea. The lady serving us our tasting was energetic and added to the tasting experience. The maple used in the wine making process really smoothed out the acidity of the wine leaving a pleanst maple after taste. Plus they had fun games to play while you drank.

We walked 5 miles from the marina to visit and it was worth every step! The blueberry was my favorite, but all were great! The tour was very informative, and everyone there was very helpful! Wine from maple sugars is great!

The wine tasting room is really comfortable and inviting. Super friendly! I had a great time learning about how they made their wine. The Maple Gold is my favorite by far, though I also loved the ginger Maple hard cider! Maple candies, sugar, jams, even a root beer. Would absolutely stop by again.

We bought maple syrup from Maple Moon at a craft show over Labor Day weekend. We were very disappointed with the taste and consistency of the syrup. We did contact Maple Moon and Christine was not pleasant in the return emails stating that they've never had complaints about their syrup before. I'm sorry Christine but your syrup is an inferior product compared to any other maple syrup that we have bought.

This was a neat stop that we found on Trip Advisor during a drive through Petoskey. Really nice staff and the tasting was obviously the best part. The maple blackberry wine is amazing! Awesome local business and I hope they distribute in the future. Can't wait to have the bourbon barrel syrup on some pancakes!
