REVIEWS OF Crane's Pie Pantry Restaurant & Winery IN Michigan

Joan Witte

We only went here for drinks and pie. They have pie flights where each slice is 1/3 of a normal sized piece. You get five flavors. So much fun! The Cherry Pie was better than my Mom's. She will never see this post or I wouldn't say anything like that! She was a wonderful baker.

Jodi Cartwright

Cute, dinning hall kind of atmosphere. Maybe a little touristy. There for lunch with friends on a Sunday. Had a pulled-pork BBQ sandwich with a side of slaw that had apples in it. All really good. The service was good. And of course....pie!

Michael Greenwald

Fresh homemade items. Love all the old stuff on the walls. Got to stop and have some pie.

Robert Snapp

Cranes Pie Pantry make the best Apple pie in Michigan. We always stop and get a pie to go when in the area. Not far from Holland Mi where you will find another Cranes shop downtown on 8th street. The Pie Pantry is adjacent acres of apple orchards. The restaurant serves a down home style menu with soup , sandwiches, and of course a wide selection of fruit pie. Worth checking.

Andrew Bowden

Great pie and food. There is a ton of seating in this place, I don't know how they would ever have a wait. I got the pie flight (amazing idea) and the sloppy Joe sandwich, and I highly recommend both.

John McCormack

Eclectic decorations and a cozy family atmosphere make this a great little destination. The food is very tasty,, the wine varieties are interesting, and the deserts are a must try. Get the flights to try a little bit of everything. My wife and I will be back.

Andrea Hollett

The pot roast sammy is amazing.

Dan Farris

Our group of girls out adventuring on a Saturday afternoon. Great place for lunch. The salads were wonderful! And another got a sandwich and it was amazing! And of course the pies and ice cream were awesome! Only they were out of anything gluten free that day, that was a little sad. Good service too! The coffee ☕️ is great too!

Randy Shaddach

Quirky place with good food. Went in the off-season so wasn't very busy. Service was great and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Judy Newlin

OMG where to begin. From the wonderful wines and cheese plate to the Italian panini and then the fabulous flight of pies. Don't be shocked I shared all of this amazing goodness with a friend. Their wine, food and prices are wonderful. Enjoy. We sure did.

Robert Mikrut

Great food! The Apple Cider Ice Tea is out of this world!

Lonna Blair

Delicious wine and cider. Next time we stop we'll try the food.

Tami Bethune

Friendly staff serving great food. You can share a sandwich as they are plenty big. Then you will have room for dessert.

gonemtbiking76

I stopped in today to make a quick donut and cider stop. I have always enjoyed both here in the past. Nothing quick or urgent about the service I received. Stood at the counter in full view of three staff members who showed no interest in waiting on me. One was busily putting up merchandise, so I interrupted her to ask if I could get some donuts and pay for other merchandise ( since she was standing next to a regiister). She directed me back to the other two that had been ignoring me for the last 5 minutes. They continued to do so until she finally called out to one of them to wait on us. We finally got what we had come for and left far from satisfied. Customer service and urgency seems to have dropped here considerably.

Kathy Flenner

I was looking for frozen goodies to take home. They had apple dumplings and crisps all ready in the freezer. Prices were good, and the line moved along quickly. Great service!

Arlene Hines

The Veggie Sandwich is the delicious. Want dessert?? Try the Apple Walnut Cake or an Apple Dumpling.

Renata Sponikowska-Sawicki

Amazing food and service, awesom decoration!

Al Litwiller

The absolute best food and pies! We've been coming here every year for 35 years now. First brought our kids, now our grandchildren.

Lynnette A

Had a wonderful breakfast (biscuit and gravy). Came with fruit cup filled with strawberries, grapes, and sliced apple. Great meal.

Mike Grace

Very good food ,reasonably priced was a little crowded but not terrible, would return

Laurie Martin

Great tasting of different varieties of hard apple cider--the quality of the drinks and the expertise of the staff are wonderful. And the store with all sorts of apple butter and fruit preserves and fruit pies is great. The food at the restaurant is fine, but it's the other stuff that is the real attraction.

Alissa Taylor

The pie was delicious! We didn't have any wine but the set up was nice and plenty of options for desserts and drinks!

Linda Elwell

Nice environment. Service was good. Water was plain old country well water. I had to buy a bottle of water. Orchard salad with chicken had good ingredients however the apple cider vinaigrette tasted like water with a bit of oil on my salad. My friends tell me the food was better then a few years ago.

Joe Lindenthal

Nice vineyard and wine tasting area

Janet melvin

Fun place, excellent home cooking!

Ryan Bernard

Very good food. The pie flights are wonderful. The decor is very neat to look at.

nick cantanvespi

Excellent bakery, very helpful staff

K'Ehleyr James

Local gem. Amazing selection of pies and crisps. Can be bought by the slice or whole. Gluten-free and sugar free options. We bought a whole blueberry pie and a take-n-bake Apple crisp. The also sell wine, donuts, preserves & jam, Apple butter, granola, cider, and hard cider. The patio also overlooks the orchard which makes for beautiful scenery as you grub on pie. I can't wait to come back next time we visit lake Michigan.

José Cerca

Pies to die for. 5/5!

Amanda Cory

Always a blast!! Staff is so helpful and we always have a great time picking apples, eating cider and donuts and us grown ups love the hard cider!

Karissa

We loved our visit to Crane's Pie Pantry. I was especially pleasantly surprised by the gluten free offerings! A gluten free bun is available for all of their sandwiches. They also had gluten free fruit crisp for dessert which was delicious. We also enjoyed sampling a flight of their hard ciders and the Liaison which is a Bourbon barrel aged cherry cider. The whole place was charming and the staff was very friendly.

Ken Garland

We were there attending the annual Cider Maker's Dinner. Food was fantastic...cider was out of this world...service was top notch.

Mary West-Carothers

Can't say enough about this place! It was about a 20 minute wait but oh so worth it! Friendly, fast, knowledgeable and affordable...not to mention all the memorabilia everywhere! So much charm and character that my husband and I could have spent hours just looking around! Just think, we found it on a whim while driving up the coast on a long weekend vacation!

Josh Canaan

Good apple cider and u-pick family fun!

Becca Thiele

Absolutely amazing!! We enjoyed the breakfast sandwich apple butter French toast, cider tasting and a pie flight. It was all incredible and I can't wait to come back!

Jason Randall

This was another place my family came for meals when we vacationed in the area. My wife and I had the chance to try this together and we both really enjoyed it! The food was great as was the wine! Their cider is also incredible (which we brought home)!

Sandra Kaufman

Heard so much about Crane’s. Drove down from Grand Rapids to South Haven for the day and stopped in the way home for some bakery items. Bought cinnamon rolls, which the next day, were wonderful! Surprised there were apples on the bottom! Bought a cherry pie, which we couldn’t wait to try when we got home. The pie was warm when purchased and room temp when I cut and served. Fine with us. My husband and I were both greatly disappointed with the pie!!! tart cherries and not a ton of flavor, the bottom crust so thin it was barely visible, and pie did not hold its shape at all! Kind of like a blob on the plate. Glad I wasn’t serving to guests. Won’t do that again!! I expected the best cherry pie ever from the Pie Pantry. Unfortunately, it was the worst we ever had!

William Babbitt

Great place for food and Drink! We had a great meal. I would recommend their cheese plate for an appetizer, very good. Wine was excellent! Pie and hard cider flights were amazing. If you get the pie make sure to get the ice cream!!!

Melissa DeYoung

Excellent Apple Crisp and delicious apples. Fun time here!

Jamie Steele

Great food, awesome pies, wonderful wines and ciders. If you like sweet wine try the iced apple.

Tim and Camie Sleeman

Good comfort food and friendly service!

Sherry Krcatovich

Great cider and pe flights

Erin Krajenke

When we got here, we were told there was a wait and that we could hang out at the cider/wine tasting bar which was perfect since I wanted to sample some of their ciders anyways. The girl behind the bar was friendly and helpful. You can get a tasting which is 4 2oz pours or a flight which is 4 5oz pours. Once at our table, unfortunately our server didn’t seem interested in us or clearing our plates, so luckily the food was good. We shared the spinach & artichoke dip appetizer which was good. I had the Crane’s Signature Salad (kale salad with goat cheese, shredded carrot, pepitas, and sweet potatoes with house lime vinaigrette) which was good and an okay price, but there really wasn’t much to it. My boyfriend got the lobster lettuce wraps (served in Bibb lettuce topped with a chipotle honey drizzle and sliced carrots, served with hummus and vegetables) which at $8 was a great deal and he really liked it. Since we REALLY came for their pie flights that was on the agenda for dessert. The flight includes 4 1/3 slices of pie, but to us, it seemed more like ½ slice as there was a lot of pie in those mason jars. You do not get to select your flavors so the day we went the flavors were apple, blueberry, raspberry rhubarb, and cherry. You also have the option to add a mason jar of vanilla ice cream to compliment your pie. The pies themselves were warm, sweet, and delicious. If you also get food, I would recommend sharing a flight as they are larger than they appear. The restaurant also has a bakery where you can buy pie, jam, cider, and wine to take home. If you participate in a tasting, you get a coupon for $4 off a $20 purchase in the bakery.

Matthew Payne

Very cool atmosphere! Friendly staff, and great baked goods. Highly suggest!

Dan Adams

Awesome food, drinks, service and decor! Definitely coming back if ever in the area.

Bill Hovinga

Food was delicious but a wait when there were empty, dirty tables. I guess not enough staff that day.

Rodney Biddle

Good food, tasty desserts, good service.

Danyell Wert

If you go on the weekend, be prepared for a long wait. At 3:30 we were told it would be an hour wait to be seated, but I would say it only took 40-45 minutes. In the meantime, we stood at the bar and tried some of their hard cider. Very friendly service and the cider was great. I personally liked their cherry hard cider. It appears you can do a flight if you so choose. They have a small menu of sandwiches and burgers and it appeared they also served breakfast until noon. I had the avocado turkey burger and my Boyfriend had the sloppy joe. The food was fairly good but not dazzling. We wanted to try some famous pie but we were way too full. This definitely warrants a trip back. They even had a pie flight option that sounded fun.

Martin Varney

Checked their web page yesterday for hours open. Drove 118 miles round trip to find that they were closed for a private party. Had a dinner coupon and they would not even honor it in the bakery. Their notification was a handwritten sign photo posted at 2:30 PM today, Sat Nov 2. Used to love going here.

Jen Yoder

Only hard cider I've liked and the pie flight is amazing.

Courtney Dooley

The best apple cider and donuts, homemade pies, Pork BBQ sandwich, chilli!

Gary Heinrich

Great lunch. Sloppy Joe with tater tots, Philly cheese steak with split pea soup. Wonderful apple pie

Mary Gignac

You MUST order the pie "flight"!! Small servings of 4 of their fruit pies and it's just right to share! Pot roast sandwich was delicious as well.

Ronald Beadenkopf

Great food, love the pie and cider flight samples.

Laura Slater

We ordered ceaser salad and dessert. Even though they have a bakery onsite they didn't serve the salad with croutons. A bit disappointing. The cherry pie was very tart and did not hold it's shape when served. The apple crumble was average. Good flavor but no good texture. Served in an unappetizing presentation. I would not make a special trip here. We were traveling so no wine today.

Ross Vander Klok

Good food and great ciders. Fairly expensive for what it is though.

Sean Magee

We took a little afternoon drive down to Fennville and the surrounding area to go on a little 4-stop wine and cider tour. Crane's Restaurant and Winery was the last place we stopped, so we could have dinner and sober up a bit before we headed back to our cabin in Saugatuck. The restaurant looks like an old country place, as though it was decorated in the 50s or 60s, cool vintage-looking decor. They sat us in the back room, where everyone in our group ordered a flight of different ciders and some food. The ciders were good, though the differences between some of the flavors were very subtle and may not be noticeable to the average palate (I had a very hard time distinguishing some of them apart and I love ciders). They were still yummy. The food was alright. Maybe I didn't read it well enough, but I recall the menu having a "Sandwich" column under which it said "avocado and turkey" which I ordered. Turns out it was a turkey burger. It was alright, though I was hoping for a turkey and avocado cold cut sandwich. My companion did the same, and thought the exact same thing I did. Strange, the online menu states it clearly, but I don't recall the in-store menu being so clear. We picked up a couple of things from the attached store and left. It was an overall above-average experience. I'd certainly go again if we did another wine tour through the area and maybe find something to order other than the turkey burger.

Dan W

Good food very Nice place.. To eat and pick apples

Rob Sternfeld

Nice late breakfast. Good food. Extremely good waitress. Good pie. Interesting air plane wall decorations.

Rick Hansen

Had a 45 minute wait at 2:00 on Sunday. Did enjoy a Nepotism Cider on the porch while waiting. Somewhat limited menu, but enjoyed the tuna melt and flight of various ciders.

Stefanie Roland

Amazing..especially the pot roast sandwich!!!

Tim Carr

FORMER Regular to Crane's. Things have changed, and NOT for the better. Went there this morning for breakfast, adult children and grandchildren with us. Menu on Crane's website does not match restaurant. Our waitress was good, and expressed her frustration with limitations of what can/cannot be ordered. You can't order eggs, and bacon, etc. However they have a "2 over-easy" egg sandwich, and egg scramble with choice of meat. You can get rye or Kismet, bread on a sandwich, but not a choice for toast. Very weird. Sad to see.

Kitty T

The food and service are amazing. Highly recommend all the pies.

Katie Devries

The pies are very good! We didn't he rhubarb raspberry and apple crisp a la mode and enjoyed both! The ciders are okay - we prefer sweet and most are fairly dry, but the sweet apple and cherry were very good! The wines are also pretty good. Cute home-style country atmosphere!

Miliana Johnson

It's a weird place but the donuts are good

Linda Cezare

As Fall has arrived, decided to bring some friends here who were visiting from out of town. Live music was AMAZING and it felt like we were in NYC listening to a great jazz vocalist. Everyone loved him! Unfortunately dont remember his name. It was a beautiful day out with outdoor seating. Option to order food outside or dine in at the connecting restaurant. For my fix for blueberry pie and cider! Such a cute and fun place, all's family friendly.

thomas wilkes

Cider and pie were delicious. Great service too

Betty Piwnicki

Great service great food enjoyed our sandwiches but have never had such excellent pies... Would pay for the recipes if I could. Chocolate pecan and apple strudel mouth watering with ice cream exquisite!!!

gg taruc

First to visit on Labor Day. Although did not dine in restaurant we were glad we stopped by. Picked up some cider donuts, apple butter bread and a gallon of cider. The donuts were good. Had it at the outside dining area with coffee. Was not sure how good the cider was going to be. We had it when we got home. If I had known it was going to be that good I would have bought 2 gallons even at $7 a pop.

Vickie Lawrence

Wonderful stop. Well done orchard and restaurant!

Brian Roberson

Poor service. Pie not good. Pulled pork very dry. Not worth Drive off the highway very disappointing.

Drew C

I had the potato soup which was really good then I had the 2 eggs scrambled and was disappointed because someone didn't learn the proper way to scramble eggs, they did taste fine and the sausage tasted good to. Nice waitress and staff.

Laura Bouwens

Absolutely love love this place!! The food was amazing, I got the cheese platter and the tuna melt. Did the wine flight, the blueberry and Riesling sooo good!! Definitely recommend it you like sweet. Oh and final the pies umm yes!!

steve Paul

Love the wine and ciders. Nice tasting room. You can dine in, get food to go. Reasonable prices. You pick fruits in season. Pre picked fruits and vegetables as well. A great family outing. Close to freeway. Plenty of parking.

Monica Poston

One of my all time favorite restaurants. A family favorite. EVERYTHING is always 10/10. I recommend the Chile to start! The best Chile ever. I also love the turkey burger, the sloppy joe, and any of the breads. The apple butter makes everything better (I love to dip my chips in it)! Their apple cider is top notch. Same with their alcoholic ciders! I love the cherry one! Finally, you HAVE to get dessert. All of their desserts are to die for!

Kaylin Driscoll

Not family friendly. The high chairs are a cool concept but not functional! They're antique high chairs. My 1 year was able to get out and stand up. Not safe and no way to buckle. A hot dog is $8! Grilled cheese has gourmet cheese which is great for adults but it is on the kids menu! Everything is super sweet! The chili is super sweet tomato soup with beans. The famous sloppy joe was super sweet. Water taste like iron so we had to order drinks. Even the kids drinks were $3. Expect to spend $$$$$

Randy Shaw

Food was good, wine was really good, pie was great and the staff was very friendly.

Eva Parker

Not only are the food, ciders we tried and desserts (of course), superb, but the warm, friendly atmosphere and sincerely kind and heart-warning service was just plain wonderful. We were there with our three extremely animated little boys...rather close to closing time, and STILL, the staff couldn’t have been more polite. Both the experienced staff was fantastic as well as the younger staff - so mature beyond their age. Again, all were so sincerely welcoming and helpful. We left with all of our family’s bellies happily full and spirits uplifted after a dreary rainy day. Thank you!

Douglas Wiggers

Our party of four had the lunch specials and none of us was disappointed. Hit the bakery after for some take home delicious pie and bread.

Zoran O

This place is THE BEST fresh fruit pies I have ever had - period. They are an orchard so they get all their fresh fruit in the back. Their Apple Cider - Unpasteurized - is amazing and always grab a gallon on the way back home to Chicago!! IF you have not had unpasteurized in the past - you have NO idea what you are missing!!!!! Heaven!!!! They also have a restaurant with some typical farm menu items - all nice and well done.

Jason Zank

Great place with wonderful staff! It smelled so nice I did not want to leave

Bill Hayden

Very good food. Not small portions. Great looking pies and banked goods to go.

Kati Parrish

my husband and I stopped on our anniversary trip to enjoy a flight of pie and wines and cider and it was amazing. This is definitely a must stop when in Fennville! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and we're great answering all of our questions and giving direction for the best experience! We will be back!

David Kingsbury

The pie flight is $7! Get the side of vanilla ice cream with your flight. It is a great date spot. The hard ciders are particularly delicious. Here is a photo of the granola

Kaloyan Tenchov

Great food, amazing pies and a lot of history around.

Thomas Goodrich

Good food and great service..

Joseph Frey

Very good place will come again!!!! The pie is very good!!!!

Carly Drews

Definitely a family favorite! I was first introduced to Crane's by extended family that live in Grand Haven and it's now a regular stop every time we visit. I recently took my husband and two young kids there during a family vacation and it was wonderful! I had the BEST veggie burger of my life! We also enjoyed both the apple and cherry crisps, but had to take them to go since the portions are so generous and left little room for dessert. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was very inviting and friendly. I can't wait to go back soon!

Adnan Kagalwalla

Excellent pie selection and tasty donuts. The vegetarian sandwiches are also excellent.

Haywood Haven

Love their Apple Pies, keeps me coming back, of course the buy 10 pies and get one free also helps (I've earned 4 free pies so far and getting close to my 5th:)

Richard Compton

Great food. I had biscuits and gravy they were unique and tasty. Wife and daughter had tomato basil soup and grilled cheese. Everything was amazing. Pies from bakery are the best.

Lynne Self

Great food and atmosphere!

Rich Davis

We make a trip to Crane's at least once a year to pick apples and enjoy a meal in the restaurant. I really like that they paved and expanded the parking lots! They still get really busy in the fall on the weekends so plan to wait at least a half an hour to get seated. Food is always great. They are getting a little pricey, but still worth it.

William Donahue

Can't beat their pies! Absolutely the best!!! They just helped me and made 8 pies so I could take them back to Chicago!

Maria Surowiec

Great family place to eat. Great food.

John K

Our waitress recommended the pot roast sandwich on seedy salt bread.....OH EM GEEE ! EXCELLENT ! Great menu. Have also had the biscuits n gravy [some of the best I've ever had] the Lobster Lettuce wraps, Tasty lighter meal that can be shared, the local cheese plate, delish and dont even get me started on bakery items. But I must...the pack of apple bottom glazed cinnamon rolls can easily be described as....."Lawd have mercy on my thighs...Yum." My last purchase was a jar of caramel.....Im afraid to open it.

Jenny Erickson

The pies were wonderful (blueberry was my favorite, perfectly rich and sweet!) And they had some good ciders and wines, my favorite was the cherry cider (when in Michigan....). The ambience was antique store and farmhouse and it was very family friendly. I had a salad with homemade ranch that hit the spot and the kids food was generous in portions and flavors. I would consider this place a great stop!

Go Hawks

Cool place good sang-wiches, furgit bout it......

Jeni Healy

Two hour drive for us, but it was worth every minute in the truck with three kids. The food was amazing, the cider/wine was delicious, the pie flight - amazing and the apple picking was fun. HIGHLY recommend making the drive. They have the World's best cherry cider...THE WORLD'S BEST - legitimately - paperwork proves it. I have to say it was the best cherry cider I've ever tasted. The gift shop area was a bit pricey, but the restaurant was very reasonably priced. (5 meals, pie flight, cider flight and a glass of hard cider -$75). I had the Turkey burger while my daughter had the vegetarian - we cut ours in half and traded - every thing was phenomenal. My son and husband agreed their burgers were some of the best they'd ever had. One thing I noticed and respect was they don't ask how you want your burger cooked - they bring it to you the way they make and it's perfect!

Alan Neff

Great pies, cider, breads, donuts, jams, etc. Been coming here for 25 years. Never disappointed.

Jenna Kastran

Excellent food and service. Great family run business! Very thankful that they have added gluten free options on their menu. I am also excited about the ability to have desert here!

Andrew Jones

Food is spectacular! So is the view.

pam venderley

Great food very fresh. Sandwich was huge..good for sharing.

Junior Staggs, CAI

Stumbled upon Crane's by total accident. It must have been divine intervention. Has applesauce for a starter, the cider/wine ladder, an open face sloppy joe, and finished with fresh apple pie. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere/decor was equally impressive. Crane's is a must if you're traveling near Southwest Michigan.

Frank Szewczyk

Slow service in the store. People running around no one taking charge

Jeff Sammons

Simple foods. Good flavor and good quantities. Unique atmosphere.

Jason Bock

As always one of our favorite places to eat. We love the simple but eclectic menu. Ciders wines and items in the bait shop are also excellent. A fun place to bring friends and go to eat.

A & J K

The sloppy Joe was awful. I would not order it again. My husband had the Pot roast sandwich and loved it. Not impressed.

Jason Georgacakis

Great little restaurant/tasting room in wine country Michigan. Well decorated dining hall with many antique decorations. We had the cranes burger which was excellent. A flight of wines and ciders and a flight of pies. Yes, a flight of pies. The service was quick and the prices were very reasonable. We also purchased a wine to go.

John Vanderbilt

What a fun place to have a meal.

Christy Sterenberg

I love looking at all the antiques while I wait for my food. This restaurant is unique and very interesting. The food and spirits are great. If you have a chance to try this place out I definitely would. It's a not to miss spot.

Tim Kuzma

Good food. Cool old time decor. Clean. And they are open more than you would think. Thx, Tim

Harry Galloway

Stopped in for dessert. Dessert was good.

Xenia Palus

Delicious food (farm to table) exceptional service. Loved the decor. Will return again

Rachel Rubin

Great food, great drinks, and great people. Love the cherry cider. Had the tuna melt today and it was excellent. Sat outside with our 2 dogs.

Robert Lansky

The Hard Cider Flight with two wine tasting was awesome. The pie flight was awesome too. The Sloppy Joe plate is a great lunch special with chips to dip into the sauce.

Nick Vallie

Food was great and service was fast. If you're planning to come plan for the spring / summer because there's more option, but even in the winter there's still food. Best applesauce and pumpkin pie in the Midwest.

Marcie Bortolussi

Great service. Food is homey, not fancy. Known for their pies. So good! Wine is great too.

Paul Welch

The food was amazing! I had the apple buter french toast and was blown away. My wife loved the signature burger. The rhubarb pie was delicious with the combination of sweet, tart, and spice. The scoop of ice cream on top really compliments the flavor. We know where to eat when we come back for vacation each year!

Luther Livingston

Even know it was cold Saturday they still had good music outside the cheap dates Very talented musicians

Kelly Fingland

Really liked the hot cider, pie was good but not the best pie I've ever had. We ended going somewhere else for lunch because the food didn't look great. Do not get the cider donuts... They tasted old and like playdough.

E & M

We arrived to have breakfast at 11am we were seated by 11:38am. Missed the cut off to breakfast by 8mins since its “mostly served until 11:30”, only they know what that means. I really wanted breakfast. With such a small breakfast menu it should at least be offered longer especially on Saturdays and Sundays. Also the parking entrance should be a bit more clear of an entrance and an exit. The food was pretty good.

Kelli Quist

Went for pie last Tuesday , only people in there. Waitress kept talking with another staff person, took our pie order, seemed in a huge hurry. Brought our pie and disgusting ice cream and even more disgusting ice water. The pie was nothing to brag about. Have had better. Certainly not worth the drive.

Lori Hamilton

Great food, great service, lots to offer in the way of entertainment, reasonable prices on u-pick apples and plenty of parking.

Elizabeth Haze

Food was classic American diner. Expect all of your grandparents favorite dishes, and made perfectly. Soooo kid friendly. Extremely cheap. And WORLD CLASS CIDER. Grounds are breath taking. If you want a slice of classic Americana, please stop by.

Linda Kiernan

Best home made pies around!

Cristine Lopez

Place must have gone down in recent years. Absolutely terrible food and even the pies are flavorless. We took a long detour to go here with all the hype and it was such a waste of time and money.

Max ShrontZ

Wonderfully restaurant, great orchard with a large variety of apples to pick

De C

Wow, we loved this place. The antiques were awesome, and the food wonderful. Pies are top rate.

Abigail Patterson

I had the apple dumplings for dinner and they had ran out of apple dumplings, but they gave me the dish with apple pie. It had honeydew ice cream on top of it with their homemade caramel. It was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The service was great and the food was so good. My family also had blueberry pie and LOVED it. I would highly recommend this place if only for desert.

A R

food is not bad but not anything to race over. bust place, great family atmosphere. wine tasting apple cider bakery. good place overall.

Thomas Davis

Much improved since last visit, new menu. Service good. Prices a bit higher than I prefer for a sandwich, but I am a tightwad.

Terry Butcher

Great food and service. Always worth the wait on weekends. Plus love the bottomless cider.

Helen Goyings

Great food and cider, the hard kind

Don Konrath

Great food and a nice casual atmosphere. Cool antiques and signage throughout. There can be quite a wait.

Gary Sheehan

Excellent food, service, and PIE

Miranda Cunningham

Wonderful gluten free optians! Looked like there probably busy during afterwork hours. Very cozy on a weekday. Ate with no issues. Even got dessert!

Dina Pocernich

Stopped for lunch. The food was excellent. I loved that they offered fresh veggies and hummus dip as a choice instead of chips/fries. Very delicious! Also saw a child's meal at the table over and they had beautiful fresh grapes as part of their meal. Wish more restaurants offered fresh choices like that !! Awesome! Our server was very nice and efficient. Also had desserts, so YUMMY! Kept wanting to go back there even though we were travelling north. It was also like visiting a museum with cool antiques and artifacts. We both love history, so it was super fun for us!

gypsy jo

Crane's Pie Pantry! Don't let the name fool you! They have much "More than Pies"! An incredible amount of desserts and fresh bakery items adorn this little gem ! All the jams, jelly's,wines & ciders are made with fruit's from Crane's very own surrounding Orchards! The bakery is on site & the AROMA is the first thing you notice, the scent of Crane's is what candle companies try to capture. The melt in your mouth Cider Doughnuts go so fast they have to bake non-stop! Crane's homemade PIES are available to eat on site in the Vintage style full menu Resturant or to take home, fresh or frozen your choice! You'll want some Cider & Doughnuts too! Somehow Crane's is a hidden gem & yet at the same time very well known! Crane's has also decided to jump in on the "Wine Tasting" fun & are now on Southwest Mi. wine tasting trail! They have a delightful selection of wines & hard ciders & believe it or not, they are not all fruity

Linda Neill

My husband and I really enjoy Cranes everything about this place is great, food, wine, staff, atmosphere did I mention the wine

Christopher Leroi

I loved the experience. It was like going back in time and the food was inexpensive and delicious. The cider flights are wonderful. And the lobster lettuce wraps were delicious.

Waitress barely let us tell her what we needed. I was told there were vegetables as a side dish. I had to go to a young male employee to ask if he would microwave it 15 seconds because of allergies, even tho there very few people there I was told ask the waitress. we were seated by a garbage even tho dining room empty. we were treated as though we are a bother_ we are not good enough to be there. food was great not sure I care!!!

Great place with good food. Best pies in the whole of South West Michigan.

My wife and I went in for dinner and no one came to wait on us. Sat for 15 minutes, while other people were served, that came after us. When we got up to leave, waitress just looked at us. The place wasn't even busy. Never going back.

Great food, wine tasting, and hard ciders!

Ronald Soller

Would be 5 stars but they ran out of some menu choices.

We stop for pies when headed to Indy, usually 6 frozen ones in a medium cooler. They make a cherry and apple strudel pie that will seriously stand up to many pies in the known universe. Cherries are tart. These pies make great gifts - if you can give them away. Worth the detour off 31.

Been going to Crane's for over 20 years. Great apple butter bread and the pies are great. Nice, hearty food on the menu. Looking forward to trying the hard cider!

Great little place! Stopped in for a quick wine tasting! Great wines and great service by Jovanna! Took home a cherry cobbler for 2! Can't wait to try it! Too bad we had just had lunch in South Haven!

Great food and service. Love this place and the additions on the menu. We've come here for years and brought a friend this was her 1st time and she loved it. We got cherry pie for dessert, loads of cherries, good flavor and even ate the crust it was so good. Normally I don't eat crust. Will definitely be back.

The sloppy joe is outstanding! Pies are pretty wonderful as well :)

Great atmosphere in the fall. Restaurant has a lot of nostalgia, but a pretty simple menu. Be sure to grab a pie for the road.

It's an old-time experience, good food, friendly service. Try the pie flight which is 1/3 slices of 4 different pies slices...only $7!Check out the gift shop where you can buy cider donuts, pies, wines, jams and hard cider.

Food was alright! Pie was good

Great place! We tried both the hard ciders and wine, but the real star of our experience was the pie flights! That raspberry rhubarb pie was to die for! Craness was incredibly accommodating and generous to our group as well as personable! Great experience!

Fun atmosphere. Vegan options. Good prices.

Exceptional service and very friendly staff, on top of delicious food.

We had the pot roast and tuna melt sandwiches. Both were delicious, the pot roast was the winner. We also had the dessert flight, apple, raspberry, blueberry and cherry struesel. The apple won. We took home a fantastic warm peach pie and a half a dozen donuts. Pass on the donuts, dry and greasey. Great service but the check out was a bit long. The very nice woman at the cider station saw my frustration and took my payment stating she didn't want my last impression of Crane's to be a negative one. Now that is service!
