As you can read, it has an average rating is basically the highest, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the assessment is very reliable. If people have bothered to give their opinion when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to write feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Winery corresponds to the category of Vineyard.
This was our favorite of the wine tour. Best atmosphere and wine/ciders. Tasting was $5 and you got to keep a nice glass. We enjoyed everything we tasted and the blackberry cider was wonderful.
What an amazing start to our trip! Connie was so helpful and informative on the history of the vineyard and her passion for great wine was infectious!
Cool layout & wonderful servers. I was a little drunk when I arrived, but someone said the wine was good. It went down my hatch pretty smooth...
Very good, the people are always friendly and helpful!
Awesome/ knowledgeable
We loved wine tasting at Bowers Harbor Vineyards! They had a friendly staff and a nice, relaxed atmosphere that made our experience very enjoyable.
What a wonderful place! You cant beat their ciders and their wines! The staff is so welcoming and their outside sitting areas are awesome!
We loved this winery the best, super nice, educational, and great wines and ciders at good prices. Very cozy and personable.
By far our favorite winery! Wonderful wine, atmosphere and you can always find a table to sit outside. We also love going in the winter and enjoy the outdoor fireplace We took a tour for my birthday and the setup a private tasting with a special birthday glass. Great for families as well!
Carpenter Redbeard Builder of Tables gave our party the best wine tasting experience not just of our whole trip, but that we've ever had. I'd highly recommend this winery to anyone travelling to the Old Mission Peninsula!
Great wine and super guides!
Compliments to Carpenter Red Beard, Builder of Tables - he made our tasting a magical experience and his table crafting skills are superb. All hail the mosiac pallet tables and mimosas.
Dog friendly, great wines.
Our favorite vinyard.
The people are always friendly no matter how busy and the wine and cider are ALWAYS good
very pleasant tasting, could not find one we did not appreciate. Very smooth wines. With a group
Rude rude rude. We were asked to move down the bar after getting 2 very expensive flights of wine for a bachelorette party. Never going back there again !!! And they never spoke to us again. Just rude!!
Nice and relaxing place. Friendly staff. Good wines.
Friendly people, beautiful swfying6. Wine and Hard Cider are AMAZING.
Red beard, builder of tables was amazing and really made our tasting experience spectacular. Could not have had a better bartender. Truly enjoyed all of our 10 tastings, especially the ciders. Definitely try them mixed! Blueberry and peach together ftw!
The wine was good, as were the ciders but my time was ruined because of the person "helping" us with our tasting... he was very condescending, he talked to us like we were idiots and he was better than us. He got annoyed when we asked questions and made us all very uncomfortable the whole time... and when we asked to try the ciders he said "why come to a winery to try cider?" Which made us feel dumb... but like I said the wine was good the ciders was great... tom... was mean...
Amazing. Experience. Wines are perfect, people are awesome. Walked the grounds and enjoyed some wines.
Great winery, great wine, great dog!
Very knowledgeable staff and great wine.
Great atmosphere and friendly service. This is a place you won't want to miss on your wine tours!
Beautiful setting and delicious wines, ciders. Also, a cute dog named Winston greeted us!
So. Much. Fun. My first winery. I don’t even drink wine. However, the woman helping us (don’t remember her name- but she has the most beautiful eyes lol). Helped educate me on the sulfates and tangents in the whites and reds, that I’m allergic to. Super super cute place. They were very busy for a Saturday in January???
Great atmosphere. Very hospital and knowledgeable staff
WoW very nice loved the wine. 8 bottles
Love this place!!
Amazing wines and ciders. Definitely try the underground Chardonnay!
Always a stop on wire tour. Friendly and they love dogs.
Very quaint surroundings and I love the idea of having the "vineyard dogs" photos on the walls and on a few wine labels. The person helping us seemed a little offish, personable but almost like he wasn't enjoying his job. Maybe he was just tired. However he did give us a little information regarding a reisling and the ciders. We ended up buying the peach-apple cider. You do get to keep your wine glass so now I have a nice collection from the local wineries
Great wine. Great ciders. Beautiful views. We relaxed outside while looking out over the vineyard.
Great place to check out!
We went for a 20+ person family reunion, gave them advanced notice, and had a phenomenal group tasting experience. Connie was warm and knowledgable, and of course the wine and setting was impeccable. Absolutely recommend this to others and know we will go back again sooner rather than later!
Winter wine tasting! Gorgeous winery and amazing staff.
This place was super cute! As a dog person i loves all of the dog photos on the wines and dog apparel you could purchase! Cooper was delicious! The scenery is beautiful! Lots of great photo ops here. Definitely check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
We hated our experience here, it started out okay but this place is just crazy crowded. Then if you want to check out you have to wait in a really long lineof people paying for drinks that they can't remember what they were called. I'm not …
The family, the wine, the atmosphere, the employees are outstanding
Beautiful wines in a very relaxing environment.
Bowers Harbor is our favorite winery on the peninsula. They have a variety of options, and I've enjoyed everything I've tasted. The reds are particularly fantastic, and the staff always makes a visit wonderful.
I really like the wine here. We always make sure to stop here each year.
Their atmosphere is incredible! I enjoyed their delicious peach salsa; it is to DIE for! Along with the peach-apple spirit cider, everything was very enjoyable! I wish I could go every day.
Great wine--missed seeing the dog!
Delicious blends and atmosphere.
I wanted to buy all there stuff!
Good. Somewhat rude but they're working hard and rebuilding soon to expand for table service. You'll love it as long as you tell them I'm a cool it is and they are. After you purchase a bunch of wine that you liked after tasting make sure they remove your tasting charge, lol. Weeee
The laid back atmosphere and great view of the Vineyard and the bay are amazing. If you come during the right time of day they usually have some low key, live, acoustic music too.
Great experience my wife and I had a lot of fun here. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The view is beautiful and the wine is excellent.
Soooo good. Very tasty wines here.
Great wine and hard cider selection! A group of 21 of us went for a wine tasting and this winery by far is the most organized, efficient and kindest that we’ve been to when touring Traverse City. We had a lot of fun here and they sell a lot of cool goodies in their shop! We will definitely visit again!
Amazing wine and cider with spectacular views. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. And perfect for sipping with friends or a nice romantic date. A Traverse City MUST.
Beautiful vineyard with amazing staff.
I've tried many ciders and this is the best I've had by far. You must try the peach apple cider.
Nice place for a wine tasting.
Just sit on the patio with the view and amazing glass of wine. They have a great variety, something for everyone.
Did this as part of a 4 winery wine tour. Service was great and wine was delicious. Scenery was beautiful and place was very clean and modern
I've NEVER been on the peninsula without stopping in. The staff is like family and the place screams happy - it's what a family Michigan winery is all about.
Peach Blueberry Cider was tasty!
The Pinot Secco and the ciders are awesome.
Terrific setting, friendly staff, and great wine. Sitting among the vines is a real treat. A great place to relax and unwind.
Very expensive for small pours during tastings.
Very inviting, friendly atmosphere. Beautiful views, great white wine selection, ciders are appreciated, too. They've got a nice hiking trail as well.
Great wines and nice grounds. On one visit my mother called me to wish me happy birthday while tasting and the server gave me a free birthday wine glass. Unexpected nice gesture.
My husband and I had a fantastic experience here! We were on a wine tour and this was my favorite stop out of 6. We loved it because the workers were fun and assisted us with so much knowledge of the vineyard and the wines. Also the only vineyard we stopped at with complimentary wine glasses. You must go there!
Great wines! Very friendly, great service even tho busy. Only drawback , no view, but wine and service makes up for it!
A great place to sit and enjoy some wine! They also have hard cider, as well as other things! Very nice people!
Bowers Harbor is always a must when we visit wineries in the Traverse City area. We are Wine Club members, and the perks are hands down the best. They have fantastic wines for everyone, whether you're a wine novice or wine connoisseur. I really appreciate the separate tasting area for groups/tours. Never have to wait to taste. Beautiful venue throughout the year.
Tour was fantastic ,just very friendly an informative. Must do for wine tasters
Excellent wine and ciders with beautiful scenery. We stopped by for a tasting during a busy time, but we hovered near the outdoor bar and were noticed right away. The woman helping us was amazing: she was helpful and relaxed, despite the fact that she was scurrying around a bit between customers. She chatted with us and lent her personal thoughts (all good!) to the wines and ciders we tried. I wish I could remember her name! The garden/outdoor area is relaxing and offers plenty of shade and side tables if you want to take a glass and enjoy it, or if you need to keep little ones busy. The tasting fee includes your wine glass, which she wrapped up for us. The grapefruit and watermelon ciders were some of the best we've tried, so of course we had to buy some! I noticed a staff member checking on the people sitting in the chairs too, which was nice to see. **My sister went earlier in the day and had a slightly different experience. They also went to outdoor bar area and gentleman serving their tasting kept referring to the ciders as weak, or not their best, hoping the next batch would be better. He also asked if they wanted their glasses (they are included) and seemed a bit put out that she did.
We LOVED Bowers Harbor. Their wines and ciders are delicious and the scenery was beautiful as well! They were so accommodating and the staff was very helpful. Photo by Brick Street Studio
Love this place! So peaceful, beautiful to look at the vines while having a glass of wine.
Great atmosphere, great wine, definitely coming again!!!
Service blows here. Plan on spending an hour to "taste" 5 just okay wines.
We Love Bowers Harbor! We especially love going for the cider! The New Grapefruit Cider is beyond amazing. They allow dogs which is hard to find in this area. Remington (our dog) loves all the attention from the employees and other customers. The employees are very intelligent on what they are selling which is a huge benefit! @remdoggoldenboy
Great wine and a nice little shop.
We had an amazing experience there. If possible we would give more than 5 stars :)
Friendly staff, awesome views, and great wine.
The best spot in TC.
My husband and I went on a private wine tour for our anniversary. Our first stop was BHV, and we could have ended our tour there! Super great staff, fun crowd, and wonderful atmosphere! Our favorite winery of the entire tour, they set the bar high if you are looking for a laid back experience with fabulous wine and ciders! Highly recommend!
Great wines, they've got a huge variety and really care about their craft.
Such a relaxing, friendly environment. The staff was knowledgeable and amazing. Fantastic wines!
Atmosphere is 5 star. Dessert wines were also excellent. Huge fire pit and heated outside seating was a nice touch.
Very friendly staff and a beautiful atmosphere.
Found a wine I will never share!
My favorite winery on Mission peninsula. Great knowledgeable staff. Feels like Napa. Good variety of reds and whites.
All the wines were amazing and Justin was very helpful with recommendations and background information on the wines. A must see on the Old Mission Wine trail.
Outstanding food, drink and service. Highly recommend dinning in the vines.
Always n amazing experience with great people
My husband and I visited Bowers Harbor twice on our long anniversary weekend. The first visit was for an anniversary picnic in the vines. I thought it was a good value; we received five generous samples of wine each and a food plate …
Living in Traverse City there are a lot of winery/cider options, however Bower's is by far the best in my opinion. The quality of wine is the best I've ever had. I am very picky when it comes to cider, but I absolutely love Bower's cider. The service is exceptional.. especially Kevin. He is so welcoming and kind. I became apart of the wine club because I love it here so much and plan on staying apart of it even when I move downstate. Oh, and one of the best parts about it all..it's dog friendly!
Nice tasting room, great views and decent wines.
Not normally a sweet wine drinker, but the Brix, the Appletage and the Cherrytage are excellent!
Evan did mine and my boyfriends wine tasting and was very sweet and knowledgable. This place was by far both our favorite. The atmosphere is great, the wine is superb, the staff very friendly. I will definitely be back.
Great staff!
My fiancé and I had a wonderful time visiting Bowers Harbor Vineyard. The woman who poured our tastings, Taylor, was awesome and very knowledgeable. She made our experience something to remember. The wine was also great, especially the dry reds they offer. I definitely recommend stopping if your on Old Mission Peninsula.
Beautiful vineyard, music and wine.
Friendliest of all the Old Mission wineries, in my opinion. Attentive (they'd run out of the pear cider I'd wanted, so they found a bottle to crack open for me!) and dog-friendly, too! The wines are pretty good as well.
Beautiful, great wine and cider!
Wine was pretty good and most of the staff was great. Tom was awful, rude, and disrespectful. He went out of his way to belittle me when I said that my husband I were in the industry. He told me that because we didn't sell wine, our vineyard wasn't considered industry even though we sell grapes. After his speech about how we weren't in the industry I asked what varieties were in the Bowers Harbor Red, which he was unable to tell me. His attitude toward myself and my friends left our visit to Bowers feeling very negative. Which is disappointing after I talked it up to my friends.
Stumbled across this little winery 15 years ago. A must stop when ever we are in the area. Great family, dog and product.
Excellent wine, and they are puppy friendly!
Loved this place! We came here in a 14 person tour and their staff welcomed us with open arms! We had our own picnic table ready for us when we got there. We immediately started our tasting and our guide was so nice with quite generous pours. One thing I noticed about this vineyard were the tables placed between vines so you can really eat and drink in the middle of it all, which gave you a truly unique experience. I loved their blueberry and peach cider combo, and had to take some home!
Great variety of wines and lovely views!
My favorite out of all the vineyards, had that good local feel to it and really good wine.
Kebun anggur... Asik banget men.
Really cool atmosphere
Beautiful sceneries to go with the amazing wine!! I ALWAYS stop in when I'm on old mission Bowers Harbor is a must see for the views but especially the wines. The staff working here are always friendly and helpful even when extremely busy. Not the case everywhere you go and is very much appreciated!
Very friendly staff and great ciders.
Very COOL and relaxing place to sip wine and enjoy the peninsula beauty, put this place on your list.
They have the best hard ciders.
Can't beat $5 wine tasting for 5 wines, plus you keep the wine glass. And it was nice lounging outside drinking the wines. The ice cider is really good
Absolutely the most friendly staff and customers in the peninsula... Really good wine and an amazing view makes Bower's Harbor Vineyard a must-see! Plus the dogs that frequently visit/live with the owners are an added cuteness bonus
I cannot say enough good things about the winery experience. The ciders are amazing. Max made the experience way better than any other winery we've been to in Michigan.
Awsome
This was a great stop for us. Very good wines and ciders. We had an amazing experience here. It is a must for any wine tour. They give 5 tastings for $5 and you get to keep the souvenir glass, what a deal most places charge more than that just for a glass. We like it so much that we joined the wine club and left with 12 bottles. We live over 2 hours away so it will force us to visit at least four times a year. I can't wait to visit during the summer to enjoy the outside seating area.
Had an amazing experience on our tour with Kevin. The whole staff was very friendly and the wine was excellent.
Best of the peninsula wineries.
Loved their wines and ciders! I'm a huge cider drinker and they had quite a few to pick from, all with great flavor.
I cannot say enough about this place. The staff were fantastic, everyone was so friendly, informative, and engaging. The wine was fantastic. The grounds were gorgeous. They have several settings throughout the grounds where you can enjoy a glass amongst the grapes. Once again, if you enjoy a winery with a friendly and engaging staff, and an outstanding ambiance, this place is for you! Thank you Bowers Harbor. You're doing it right.
Amazing everytime. Easy drinking wines, and cider that we have to bring home everytime. Great friendly service.
Knowledgeable staff and great wine
Amazing wine tasting deals with delicious wines!
Beautiful atmosphere, immersed in nature. Some of the better wine on old mission as well.
No
Came in on a wine tour, I preferred their wines over the other stops. Knowledgeable staff, I learned a lot about wine!
