Fantastic knowledge and helpful ownership. Came in with a ton of questions and on natural and funky wines, and they engaged with me for almost an hour as I sorted out what wines worked for me. Go in and ask questions, they've got answers to help you find exactly what you want, in the price point you want.

Lovely wine shop with fantastic Wednesday and Saturday pairings. I go elsewhere for beer and scotch though. Beer selection is fine but there is a CBC right around the corner. The wine selection and knowledge is great. Pairings always include discounts on wine.

When approached, it wasn't with a smile, and I wasn't given specific details about the wine recommended to me despite my request for more specifics. There was a tasting going on, but it was not a very welcoming atmosphere so I did not participate. Despite this, they do have a good selection of wines not typically seen and at a variety of price ranges.

Affable owners, Lori and Ray Schaeffer, bought Spirited Gourmet's Winchester location and turned it into Pairings. Being in suburbia, they have a lot more space then most places in the city which means a much greater selection without feeling crowded. The bar makes in-store tastings superb and the opportunities to taste are abundant. The cheese counter is a must see and don't be afraid of asking to taste Lori's newest selections; you won't be disappointed. Numerous accompaniments, Spindrift Soda, and culinary delights from New England and beyond are available for purchase. The gift baskets are a delight should you find yourself in search of such items. The Schaeffers travel extensively and manage to source fine wines and excellent vintages during their trips; the 1990 Chapoutier Hermitage was SO good, I ended up buying both of them.

My favorite gourmet store. They have an immense assortment of meats, cheeses, snacks and wine. They are extremely friendly, assisting and helpful. Their wine pairings on saturdays are delightful. I love this place. Always have, always will. They are seriously in a league of their own. Go buy their products. NOW....
