We had a wonderful afternoon tasting new wines. Erin guided us through each classic selection.

Muy buena atención. Para alguien como yo que no soy un conocedor de vinos es una experiencia muy instructiva. Con paciencia me explicaron las diferencias entre las clases de uvas y el proceso de producción y fermentación de cada uno. Todos son deliciosos.

We love this place! Good wine and good people.

While pricier than others, for $15 you'll get a wine tasting of 6 wines and a tour if the facility. I would recommend doing the tour if it's your first time, but otherwise do the testing, buy a bottle and head upstairs to the outdoor deck.

My friend had her wedding at Millbrook winery. Even with low-hanging grey clouds it was a gorgeous setting. The food was better than most weddings, in that it was average (though lukewarm at best). Service was overburdened and short, and not inclined to be especially nice or solicitous. Wines were merely passable: all were too tart, sweet, acidic, syrupy, or some combination thereof. The space was very nice, both indoors and out. All in all a pretty place to spend an evening, but not if you're after remarkable food, wine, or service.

Beautiful view Today's visit was just ok. Felt rushed thru my tasting. The company I came with made the visit a 4 star rating. 12.50 for a tasting of 5 wines and olive oil. You keep the glass. Have fun if you go.

Breath-taking vistas, crisp mountain air, and in summer live jazz is played at the nearby lakeside (artificial lakes). Paid tours of the winery are conducted every thirty minutes, which recount in fascinating detail how the winery was founded and how it functions day to day. The tour includes the processing steps such as bottling and aging. Local products such as maple syrups and vinegars are on sale in the gift shop. Seasonally food vendors come to serve concessions, but seemingly the winery prepares no foodstuffs in-house.

Best white is the Brut. Best red is the Cabernet Franc. Others are all mediocre.

There were two things this winery was missing besides great wine. One is the ability to taste a variety of wines. I went to a winery in Michigan and they let you try any wine that they make. I bought all kinds of wine tours because of it, and I left there with a dozen bottles of wine. It encouraged you to sample and buy more wines, and quite frankly to make judgments while inebriated. This place had six wines that they let you try and that was it and I wasn't crazy about any of them. Second was an experienced fun tour guide. He was nice and all that, but everything was in college terms, it's so cool, or um, or its crazy how they make wine man. It's just lacked a certain maturity and flair for a vineyard, not to mention great wines or the ability to pick what I taste. That being said, it was beautiful and I do not regret coming, but that could be due to drinking quantities of wine, and spending time with family I haven't seen in a while.

Beautiful place, our tasting was 4 whites and 2 reds. Tap room served a Pino from CA, not one from the winery. Great place to relax. Food trucks on Friday and Saturday evening jazz

David Aponte

Beautiful scenery, knowledgeable staff, and excellent wine.

First visit here. The drive up through the vineyards is beautiful. The whole place is gorgeous. We did the wine tasting. Courtney was very nice, knowledgeable and informative about the wines we tasted. All were very good. You can buy a bottle of wine or buy it by the glass, along with a cheese plate and sit out on the deck and enjoy the gorgeous views.

What an amazing day we had at Millbrook Vineyards. The moment we pulled into the vineyard we were both amazed at the beauty. Great wine & the tour guide was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. We noticed that many people brought along picnic baskets and sat around by the lake.

Gorgeous location, I loved the drive through the vineyards to get to the winery and tasting room. The process to get set up with a tasting was fast and efficient, even at a busy time. We opted not to go on the tour because it was hot outside, but we look forward to going back and taking a tour. We chose the Portfolio tasting package and were set up at Jean's tasting bar. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the winery. It was a great experience. My favorites were the Gruner Veltliner, Proprietor's Reserve Chardonnay and the Cabernet Franc. The Pinot Noir was surprisingly good.

I love visiting Millbrook! The people are welcoming and friendly, the wines are good and the setting....beautiful. Scott and Merrill in the tasting room are the best! The Saturday jazz in July and August is a great event too. John Dyson, owner of Millbrook, purchased Williams Selyem several years ago. So if you are a W/S fan, you can buy many of their award winning, vineyard designated wines from California (primarily from Sonoma County). These wines are delicious, highly allocated and very hard to find.

The winery staff are knowledgeable and professional. They have nice events on the weekends, with Slammin Salmon/Gourmet to Go caterers providing excellent food choices to complement the wine.

We visited the winery on our way home from a trip to Massachusetts. The roads in were clearly marked which complemented our Waze directions. The view as we drove up the dirt road to the winery was spectacular. The vineyards, the surrounding mountains, the castle, the ponds, the greenery are all so lovely. We arrived just as the winery opened, so we were the first customers of the day. Our options were clearly described to us, and we opted for the 8 sip tasting and a tour. We were told that 8 sips was the equivalent of 1 glass of wine. We estimated that our was actually more like 2 glasses, as our host Ronny, poured generously. Ronny was knowledgeable and very personable, interacting nicely with all those at our tasting and sharing lots of wine history and facts. He is clearly proud to work at Millbrook and explained their exclusive wines. After our tasting, (complimentary wine glasses to take home is a nice addition) we spent some time strolling on the grounds, and enjoying the beautiful weather until our was time for the tour, and we were pleased to learn that Ronny would be our tour guide, again sharing his knowledge of the wine making process. I learned quite a lot on the tour. All in all, it was about a 2- 1/2 hour visit, and the price seemed reasonable. Nice ambience, pleasant staff, well organized. Thanks!

We absolutely love coming here (we even joined the PSR club!). On our most recent trip, Jake really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was fantastic. While he wasn’t the one leading our tasting, he remembered us from previous tastings and came over to say hello. Then, in the tap room, we ordered a cheese plate but requested no nuts, as I’m allergic. Jake said he would take care of it, and came back a few minutes later with a cheese plate assembled in a to-go container, which he assured me hadn’t come into contact with nuts. I can only assume he made it himself, as we were the only group with a platter in a container like ours and not on a plate. It was very thoughtful and truly elevated our experience to know there’s such caring staff working at the winery! I cannot recommend this winery enough to everyone who will listen.

I attended an event here in their event room upstairs. The room is large with a deck, allowing for a beautiful view of the vineyard. A white wine and Pinot Noir was served. The white was crisp, semi-dry with fruity undertones. The Pinot Noir was light in color but had a strong finish. I enjoyed my time here and would return.

Vino? Wine not! Thank you Groupon for getting it right! I discovered this amazing spot thanks to the peeps at Groupon. Mega deal so I couldn’t resist! I have no idea how I missed raving about Millbrook Vineyards sooner. I’ve come here a few times and I cannot wait to be back this summer again. When I purchased the tasting tickets I thought it would be something brief, lame with a bunch of cheap wines at a meh spot. I was so wrong! I purchased my Groupon in advance and before I took friends here I wanted to make sure we tested the “waters”. As soon as we drove in on the sunny day everyone was out having a great time chilling by the lake side on the picnic tables or blankets on the grass. It was seriously the perfect scenario. Walking in, I went straight to the cashier checked us in got us in for our tasting. You get (depending on the one you choose) 8 tastings of different wines (also depending on the season). These tastings are delicious and you get to mark off your favorites and take notes so you’re able to purchase a glass later on or a bottle if you wish. After the tasting, you can walk around check out their wine selection. They have things from Villa Pillo in Italy. We tried their Cinghialino wine and it was amazing! The staff is very knowledgeable and by no means do you feel rushed during the tasting or during your stay. I highly recommend coming here for an afternoon, plan to spend 2-3 hours. You can come just for the tasting and be done with everything in one hour but I suggest staying a little longer. It’s nice to bring a picnic blanket pack some snacks, cheese and crackers throw in some grapes. This will definitely be a good idea since, once your tasting is over, you can purchase a bottle or two and sip them in your free souvenir glass (included in the tasting). You can sit by the little lake/pond hang out in your blanket. Enjoy nature and just people watch drunk parents taking care of their little toddlers. Truthfully it’s the best! Dogs are welcome in the property (as far as I know). Also, make sure to take plenty of pics around the property. Best views! You almost feel like you’re in Europe but you’re not. Lol! Good way to mentally transport yourself there while still being in NY. I love Millbrook Vineyards & Winery! Btw, they do sell food in their “restaurant” area. I haven’t tried the food yet since the last few times we’ve gone it’s either been closed or used for a private event. And remember: where there’s a wine there’s a way!

The wine tasting included in the Reserve tour is definitely worth it. The place by itself and the views are wonderful, namely yesterday, in the middle of the indian summer. People at the winery are very friendly and welcoming.
