Well where do I begin- we located the establishment & that should’ve been our 1st clue! Upon entering the place was clean & welcoming that’s highlight! The wine clearly needs everything! We also had to wait way too long between tastings! For $15 go to the Go Cart place down the street!

Awesome winery with personable, knowledgeable owners! My friends and I had a private tasting as part of our friend’s bachelorette party and this location did not disappoint! When you go for a tasting you may bring your own cheese/crackers/fruit and it definitely enhanced our experience. We ended with their frozen wine, which was delicious! We’ll definitely be back!

Wines themselves were good, husband and wife owners were very welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. However, staff member who originally greeted us was in my opinion rude and not customer oriented. We were a group of 7 who had family visiting who stopped in based on a recommendation. It was a busy afternoon and we were told that we would have to wait and that “large groups normally make reservations.” I understand having to wait to enjoy the experience but her tone and attitude were unnecessary. We waited and when it was our turn we were once again told by the same staff member that “in the future if you come in a large group you should really make a reservation.” It quite honestly ruined the entire experience for me, and although I enjoyed the wines I will not return.

First Crush Winery was a delightful find. We enjoyed a tasting for $10 and able to try 6 wines, a chocolate syrup wine, and a wine slush. Everything was very tasty. The owners were a delight to chat with and they employees were very friendly. I highly recommend stopping by for a tatse and a bottle! Decently priced bottles $18-25.

Beautiful winery! Right on the bike trail and a perfect spot for a break! Wonderful owners who are so sweet and kind. Bring a backpack because you'll definitely want to buy a few bottles to bring home.

I was hoping for something that had some outdoor space, but that wasn't an option, cute place, enjoyed the slushies and chocolate sauce in addition to the wines!

The wines were delicious however the owners were rather rude. Planned a bachelorette party here and after solidifying the date months in advance, when I called to clarify everything a few weeks before the trip the owner could not have acted more bothered stating that he would "try to squeeze us in but there were already many parties signed up for that day." Not only did our reservation get lost, when we arrived there for the tasting after things got cleared up the owner was extremely rude to my sister and I saying we messed up the reservation and was so unpleasant it affected the whole experience. He was the one providing the tasting which was so rushed and awkward because it was obvious he was bothered by us because he messed up. It may be beneficial for them to start booking in an electronic document because the reservations are getting lost in whatever book they are using to keep track of them. Also, I find it strange that you pay more per person when you come with a party but aren't able to keep the glass you use for the tasting as a keepsake. With a party of eight we were told that only the bride could have her glass. The only reason this winery is getting a higher score than 1 was because of the wine. I'm huge about respect and I felt nothing but disrespect from someone who should be acting very polite as an owner of a company.

The wines were OK. The tasting was pretty pricey and you didn't even get to keep the glass. Tip: be sure to ask for a taste of the chocolate sauce made with one of their wines!

Amanda Skiles

We had a wonderful experience tasting the various wines offered here. The owner spent a great deal of time explaining each wine, how it was made, and how to drink it! You can tell a lot of work and love go into all of their wines. The owner is such a talented and experienced wine maker that this place is an absolute must visit on the Cape!

The service was rude and brash! A group of us walked in at 215 and asked to participate in a tasting. The lady at the desk said rudely, "did you read the sign outside?". The sign outside was sketchily written and said next tasting 45 minutes. How is anyone supposed to know when the sign was written because there was no times written. When we asked about signing up for a future tasting she told us definitely not today. Kicker of the story, we called earlier in the day to ask about times open and what we needed to do for a tasting and no one mentioned anything about a reservation. None of us will ever drink firsr crush wine in the future. Very rude staff!

Daniel Thomas

Great place to stop for a wine tasting. The owner was wonderful to chat with. Left with 4 bottles of the cranberry wine.

Timothy Baker

Definitely a place with delicious wines! A spot to visit again, but I'll definitely need to buy more wines next time because I know they won't last until next year...

Diane Krafton

Very skimpy samples for the $10 ea per person and to get the glasses you used you had to buy four bottles of wine. Will not recommend.

I visited First Crush for the first time today. The owner and a friend of the owner were incredibly friendly and served us. They were attentive even as a rush came in. The wines ranged from interesting/experimental to very smooth reds. They even have some award winners. There was a small gift store table set up with wine-centric funny t-shirts, magnets, and a cork baseball cap. Worth a visit if you like supporting local places and enjoy wine!
