They have Maine Beer "Lunch" in bottles! Used to be you could only get it in bottles at the brewery itself (in Freeport ME). Empire only sells one at a time, at $8 each (fair price), and they aren't refrigerated. Empire also some of their others - "Woods and Waters" and "Another One" are especially good - but none are kept cool as the brewery insists on. Also they have a great selection of other craft beers, including most of the Sierra Nevada, Two Roads, and Long Trail brands, all essential to a true beer nut. Prices are competitive.

Great selection with excellent customer service. Don’t be fooled by Eli Stinebiser’s post. I found out the real scoop and he should be happy they acted like a good parent instead of just calling the cops on him. I’m happy Empire is diligent about their license and the community.

I've been 21 for about 6 months now, went in there the other night and gave the conceited guy at the counter my US PASSPORT and they told me they wouldn't sell to me because they didnt believe I was of age. Talk about a power trip from the blonde guy with glasses and the airhead looking guy with the buzz cut. Not going there again.
