Bought a bottle of their Cassis to bring with me on Mother's Day. When I went to open the bottle the cork was so dry it crumbled into the bottle. Ultimately we broke it off and pushed the remainder of the cork into the bottle. it was embarrassing. I wrote to the Vinyard and haven't had a reply. Considering I can buy a great bottle of French Cassis for less, I'll be buying it at the liquor store from now on.

Fabulous owner/host Phyllis gave me a tour and tasting of her newest Pinot Noir. Known as the toughest grape on the east coast to grow, she’s accomplished the impossible. Her fermented Cassis is simply the best!

The grounds are nice and the staff was helpful but not pushy. You can walk around outside and see the horse statue made from vines, enjoy the pond, and view the vines, but there is no access to see any of the working buildings of the vineyard. In the sales and tasting room, they have a large selection of dessert wines and other varieties. Just watch the prices - though you generally expect to pay less when buying directly we found the same bottle of wine a few dollars cheaper just 5 minutes down the road.
