My nephew and I went there this afternoon based on an internet recommendation. The waitress was very warm, friendly and attentive. We had the chicken taco soup and a couple of Flying Dog's Truth. Also we had the crab dip. All very good. What a surprise gem of a place. And the store part has a great selection of beers - and attentive help. Not sure when I'll get back that way but I'll be looking for an excuse to do so.

I love to come to Old Line for so many reasons. 1, it has the best beer selection anywhere. 2, there are many delicious food choices, including the Brussels sprout appetizer, the fish tacos, duck flatbread, and spaghetti squash with shrimp. 3, they will fill growlers at the bar. 4, you can proceed to shop in the store, where there are often beer and wine tastings, plus friendly and knowledgeable staff. I feel lucky that such a great place is so close to my home.

I've only been here once so it's hard to give a great rating but for my first experience it was a 2. When we arrived we were all brought water which is great but the waiter did not offer to get us any other beverage, not that I really needed it anyways. I ordered the Old Line Burger or something like that. It's supposed to come with cheese, bacon, fried onion, and some other stuff I can't recall. I was served a plain hamburger with lettuce, tomato, and raw onion. Not even any mayo or the bbq I requested. One of us waited maybe 10 minutes for a water refill.. the pitcher was about 10 feet away when he asked. Someone I was with said it looked like they were short staffed because the didn't see the waittress's that are typically there. Maybe that was the case. Either way if I ever decide to come back I will adjust my rating.

I love the grab soup and sandwich which are two separate items on the menu. The service is stellar and the atmosphere is chill. Their fries are really good and their ketchup is former and so awesome. Try it and you'll love it! I'm a fan for life!

Went for a Sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the red velvet waffles. They were so soft and fluffy! Definitely get the biscuits with honey butter. The house made sweet ketchup was delicious on my chicken strips. I tried some of the spicy mayo on the fries my husband got, and that was just as good. This was our first time there and the place seemed strangely empty. We'll definitely be back.

This place has all the booze in all size denomination. They know about the booze they don't even stock. I hang out in the beer section. Frequently there's a tasting in the lobby area with a trendy vibe. Also there is a Zagat rated bistro ducked off in here. And If I could make it here on Tuesday I'm sure I'd clean up on Trivia! Night? Right!?!

I’d come back for happy hour and drinks but I wouldn’t eat here again. The fried calamari appetizer was rubbery, and the fish and chips tasted old. Both calamari and fish were over cooked. Great selection of beer and wine.

This is a little hidden gem of the area. First off the Beer and Wine selection at the store is a great find with a HUGE selection. The Bistro which is in the back has a limited but very delicious menu (I usually get a burger or a Ruben...the burger is better) and always a large tap list. Servers are knowledgeable of what is on tap and the beers tasting notes...and if they don't know they will almost always give you a sample!

Neat experience with a bistro at the back of a large liquor store. There's probably seating for 50 total and great for groups of 20 or less with tables that can slide together. It was nicer than I had expected. Corn hole boards and decent bar as well.

I've eaten at the restaurant many times and the food is always delicious. As a beer fan, the draft selection is always good and the variety of bottles and cans in the store is impressive. All of the top breweries seem to be represented. Service also is good, as I always get attention and help when needed.

Team is always out restocking (a good thing but sometimes troublesome on busy days). Old Line is without a doubt one of the best stores to shop. Excellent selection and very reasonable price. Excellent food prepared by an actual chef. Menu is pub style with some flair. Has a bit of an arthouse feel to it with local art displayed and offered for sale in the walls. Kitchen closes at 9 and bar at 10, so is a little inconvenient for later dining or game watching. The manager and bar staff were kind enough to accommodate the bar patrons during the Capitals Cup game so we appreciated the gesture.

Great experience today. My husband and I were in town for our son's graduation and wanted to get a bite after the ceremony. We were seated immediately. Our waiter, James, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. He was extremely pleasant. The food was very good. Fresh and tasty. Plus when you spend over $50 you get 20% off a bottle of wine. We would highly recommend this place.

Old Line offers top notch cuisine served by friendly waitstaff in their bar/bistro area. You can purchase beer, wine and liquor in the store and we received a 20% off any bottle of wine after dining in the bistro. We ordered the Brunch Burger with Clam Chowder, Cobb Salad with Grilled Shrimp (pictured) and Crab Bisque (not pictured) The kids highly recommend the Crab Bisque! Reasonably priced based on quality and overall dining experience.

This is just about the bistro: they have a fantastic selection of beers, the food is quite good, and they give you a little complimentary hot chocolate. They serve half pints of beer so you can try more of them, and they've had cider and mead both times I've been there. They will also let you drink any wine you buy from the attached store, with an un-corking fee. Happy hour is $5 pints, small $3 apps, and $4 (maybe $5, can't remember) glasses of house wine.

A wonderful selection of beer on tap, including one hard cider. However, the food is relatively expensive and not of sufficient quality to justify the cost. The ruben was rather thin and dry - a local deli across the street from my office gives double the meat at half the price. The burger is probably the best thing to get, but at $14 I really expect a fresh bun, not a stale one. The fries, though, are excellent!

I come here a few times a year. Food is regularly good. I've never had anything I didn't like. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The only negative is that it can be loud. Their regulars at the bar are a lively bunch. Sit further from that and it's not a problem. Plus you can shop for wine on your way out!

Continually declining service and quality in the bistro. We have been coming here since day one, and wish old line would bounce back. The food has been iffy for a few years, but really show no signs of improvement. Last night was the final straw for my wife and I. The kitchen and service staff was beyond slow, and the food was mediocre at best. For the bistro to be as empty as it was ( and usually is) there seems to be no excuse. To be fair, our waiter/bartender Chris has always been nice to us, but seems to have no sense of urgency (unless you count cleaning up/breaking down the bar). We will continue to shop in the store, but we would be foolish to eat at the bistro again. We wish the owners & staff the best of luck and hope things turn around. Bummed I didn't take pictures of the "grilled cheese". To end on a positive note, the beer was amazing as usual.

This place popped up for me while trying to locate a hard to find local beer. I went to check it out and have been going back regularly ever since. It's a great beer / wine / liquor store with emphasis on local beer and craft beer in general. Their selection is ALWAYS good, and their prices are middle of the road for the area. The Bistro.... Totally unexpected. It's amazing. The dishes are wonderful and plentiful. My wife and I usually end up sharing something. They've recently changed the menu a bit but the quality is still high. They have a number of rotating taps and always have very good things on tap. The bartenders are always friendly and helpful, same for the store staff as well. Whether you're picking up a 6 pack or bottle of wine for an event, or looking to go out and have a few drinks, this is THE place if you're close. Half the time, I do both!

If you can't make the trip to Total Wine, make the trip to Old Line because they will probably have what you're looking for. All the staff are extremely helpful in helping you find what you need, except Porch Rocker by Samuel Adams they never order enough of that beer. But pretty much everything else you can think of, they have it there! They also have a fully staffed Bar and Kitchen that makes excellent food and pours nice ice cold drinks!

My only qualm is that the ambience translates into higher prices compared to other liquor shops in the area. If you do not know what you want, GO HERE. They will absolutely help you find something perfect without the hassles of having to go somewhere like Corridor Total Wine. If you know exactly what you want, it may not be worth going here, price wise. Though honestly, I end up here often. It's a family and veteran owned business. They deserve the extra few bucks.

1 star is generous for this place. The service was terrible. When we walked in there is no hostess, so it was unclear if we sat ourselves or waited for somebody to seat us. After we sat down it took forever for a server to bring us menus. It took a while for our server to come back to take our drink and food orders. After our orders were taken the wait for the drinks and food to be deliver to our table was unacceptable. We ordered hamburgers, and ask them to be cooked well done. However the burgers were cooked medium, so they had to be sent back. The server hardly came over to check to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. The only thing that this place has going for it is the fact that it is located inside a beer and wine store.

Absolutely, the best and largest grilled portobello mushroom sandwich I have ever had... with a platter spilling over with hand-cut french fries. The menu has a lot of appealing options. You walk into Old Line and are met by a very well-stocked wine and liquor store that carries brands you dream of but are hard to find. Follow the footsteps on the floor to enter the Bistro where are you can relax at the bar or sit down and enjoy one of their tasty meals. Old line has a private party space that seats 70. That's difficult to find in this area. It's a great option for graduation, birthday, anniversary, and retirement parties. I met the owner, Larry; he and his son are former Marines. I felt great leaving knowing that my purchase was one extra way of saying, "Thank you for your service to our country."

I contacted Larry Pendleton, Sr in regards to purchasing liquor and beer for our daughter's wedding. He was most helpful in helping us to choose which ones we could mix with as well as he helped with choosing the right beers. He assisted us from the beginning and was very personable. The little restaurant in the back is almost always really pretty cool. Really nice that the liquor store in front is so well staffed with really expert folks.

Good beer selection and pub food. It's worth noting that although they're open until 5pm on Sundays they close the kitchen sooner. I'm not sure when they close it, but I arrived a little after 3 and the kitchen was closed.
