Mills recently provided the wine and spirits for our wedding, and the staff was an enormous help in making choices, particularly Mary who helped us with the wine. We were able to do multiple tastings, and Mary did a fantastic job making recommendations and following-up with us after meetings. The beer and spirits manager were also very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing what to offer at the bar. My wife and I would recommend them to anyone doing a wedding or another large event in Annapolis.

Great little shop on the main Annapolis drag. Not sure about hard alcohol but they have a great selection of wines for a reasonable price. If I'm invited to dinner in Annapolis, I usually stop there for wine. Never been disappointed by their selection!

I'm not sure about the previous reviewer but the experience I had was fantastic. They had a very solid selection of rums that was a bit more diverse than the average Captain Morgan and Bacardi mix. Lots of imports! It was good. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, and they even have a variety of liquors for tasting. It's definitely the liquor store for the person searching for a more interesting variety than the norm.

Mills Fine Wine & Spirits offered us a fantastic price on beer and wine for our wedding and we were very happy with their service. Their prices were half of what our caterer offered and they were willing to take back unused cases and bottles as long as they were not damaged. They delivered everything on time as expected. We didn't find out until a few weeks before our wedding that they were not going to be able to get one of the beers we were intending to serve. However, they suggested an alternative and it worked out just fine. There was some confusion over what we returned and what we were going to be charged and it took them a while after the wedding to figure that out due to staff members being out of town. It all worked out eventually and we felt like we were charged a fair price.

These folks are great- they are knowledgeable, helpful, approachable, and reasonably priced - which is a rare find in dwntwn Annapolis. Yesterday, a beautiful fall afternoon, Annapolis is its crazy Saturday self, an employee opened the door for me, I told him what I wanted, he.zipped over to the refrigerator, got my Prosecco, rang me up (FYI - they give a 10% discount if you share your email ),and out.the door I went. I wish all my shopping could.be that pleasant.

They had a bottle of Orphan Barrel Rhetoric 25 yr (suggested MSRP $140) marked for $119.99. When I went to check out it rang up for $299.99 and the lady behind the counter rudely said she wasn’t going to honor the price. I fully understand that they don’t have to honor the price but she made it seem as if I was the one in the wrong. Glad to know I’ll never be spending another penny in there.

We have lived across the street from this place for the past 5 years and we absolutely love it. They are so kind and always have brilliant recommendations. I've even had them set aside something they thought we would like. Since the new owners took over I've only been more pleased, they've added a rack of staff pics right when you walk in which has saved me just so much time! And I feel the liquor selection has diversified. We drink a variety of beer, wine, and liquor and have always felt their prices to be fair and their selection admirable. Also great sales! They even cured my mans cold with a vile shot of some herbal tonic. This friendly helpful shop is an annapolis treasure.

About a month ago purchased Kirk and Sweeney 12 Year Old Dominican Rum 750ml. Price was $54. In PA, a state with one of the highest taxes on liquor and wine, the price was $30!

Terrible. They knowingly disrespected my brother...a NAVY man who is having a baby TODAY. I was flying into BWI to be with my family, my brother was having his first baby. I called 2 days in advance all over to find a specific whiskey. I talked to an employee who said they were getting a shipment in and would put one on hold for me to bring as a gift. I called this morning, the owner answered and said he couldn't help me. He said his employee made a mistake and because I am not part of their club membership, I am "out of luck"...he sold the bottle that was put on hold. He had my info, just ignored it. Nowhere to go now to pick up this bottle for my brother on his big day. TERRIBLE service and I would caution anyone who values trust, respect and honor to stay away. I wanted to make this a special gift for him and the OWNER of Mills Fine Wine & Spirits decided a Navy soldier's first baby wasn't worth it. As if I have nothing better to do (while at the hospital) than lie about how terrible your service was? I am not lying. Sorry, your employees messed up, took my info and said they would hold a bottle for me. You told me you wouldn't consider selling to me and that your employees should have known better. Just own up to the mistake and we will happily accept it and move on. But writing some contrasting review is not changing the fact that you can't accept responsibility of what happened. This just pushes me to stay away. Thank you for your service though. No matter how I see your business as poorly run, you still deserve respect and thanks.

Excellent selection, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and reasonable prices. Pat was fun to talk with while I shopped for something unique. This store changed ownership a few years back and hasn’t skipped a beat. They still provide a high quality product and excellent service. It was fun to be back here since Mills is the first place I bought classed Bordeaux wines right out of college. We also enjoyed the wine tasting on a Saturday afternoon.

Mills had a great selection and very reasonable prices! Informative signs on the wine racks to let you know where various items are around the store. It was a little dark in there, but we were very satisfied with the bottles of wine purchased here.
