Beautiful vineyard, very relaxing. Chaz was amazing, very personable and did a great job walking us through our tasting. All of the staff was kind and tasting room is gorgeous. Wine is good, not great, but definitely had two that were worthy of purchasing bottles. Will be returning.

A good place for fair priced wine tastings and a relaxing environment. You can try 12 different Linganore wines from 3 different lists. The list vary depending on when you go, but you can always ask the staff there and they will explain it to you. Some days they have live music right out side and you can sit and enjoy your wine and the company of others.

My mom and I went here a month ago and absolutely loved it. Beautiful winery. Tons of wines to chose from, the blueberry is my favorite. The tasting is $5 and you get to try a lot. Beth (I believe our bartenders name was) was amazing. Super friendly, nice, and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to come back!

This is the best event of the year. I've gone for 6 years in a row. The wines are wonderful- the atmosphere is delightful! I usually go with several friends and we putluck as opposed to buy food. The potluck option allows us to eat fruits, veggies, and cooked food throughout the day. It is cost effective and convenient. The trick is to have a tent, get there early (11am or so), find and claim your spot- then start to drinking and dancing!

My daughter's and I were there on October 13, 2016 and had a wonderful experience! It was my daughters' birthday. The staff were terrific. We enjoyed the tour and the wine tasting! It was so much fun. The winery is beautiful inside and out! Very clean and meticulous throughout. We went to the brewery and had a superb visit there! We were able to taste their own beer made at the brewery and they are as exquisite as their wines! I recommend this to everyone and plan to visit again! Well done Linganore winery and brewers!

Its a nice small winery, the price was nice as well. The tour is short, I kinda wish it was longer, buy the wine place it self was small. I wish we couldve toured outside. The wine was nice, the food parings i have to say was ok, the crackers in the set were stale. We bought 1 wine called "Slapjack" I do believe. Nice little outing.

As far as wedding go this place is absolutely beautiful. The view is beautiful the converted barn is beautiful the only problem this place has is the general manager. Her name is Mary Beth. If you have any questions to ask her good luck as far as her getting back to you guys. It really is a shame because if I could just replace her or give her different attitude everything would be wonderful

I had unknowingly came to do a wine tasting the same day as they were hosting an event. Even with the large number of people attending that day the staff were friendly, quick to serve, and knowledgeable. Their wine was really good. However I would suggest having more snacks instead of the two crackers you’re alllowed. Also a better description of the wines would be nice. Would definitely recommend.

Went to Ragae festival on 20th. Wine was awesome. Many good varieties from the reds to the berry wines. Especially liked the chocolate wine mixed with strawberry wine. But my favorite is the steeplechase red. Many good vendors and overall a good time. The Aellens know how to throw a party.

Went to a tasting event but as a rookie i was unprepared. All had chairs, tents etc. It was a giant picnic with a band etc. The worst part was the wine tasting. It was under a pavilion with people that just stood there. Good luck getting an opportunity to do any tasting for yourself.

Best part is the Red Shedman bar that they added next to the wine tasting building last fall. If Ben is there he'll tell you about the beers. Bring you lunch and eat on the deck with a beer. They only have pizza and chips/salsa for food to buy there.

Linganore's festivals are amongst the most fun best organized that I have been to. I had been to this paticular ReggaeFest many years ago and I'm glad I came to this one. Rest assured, regardless of how far you travel to get here... ...it'll be worth it!

BUT, while I have no complaints about customer service they seriously need a big sign saying please pay for your tasting at the register before coming to the bar. They also need more registers open on the weekends.

Nice scenery in the rolling hills, the wine and beer tasting was average. I would highly recommend employee Kim if you want an experience with your wine tasting. The winery is to commercialized and we walked around the store for five minutes before we engaged an employee on how the sampling is done. They were seven employees walking around the site and not one of them said hello. There are many winery's close by and I would recommend one of them before Linganore.

We were a group of two 30+ couples who came by for a wine tasting through a winery tour we were taking. No members of our group were driving, however, we were refused service when we arrived for a tasting. We had been to two wineries prior to our visit. The staff was extremely rude and we were forced to call our uber back while all others were drinking and driving home. Interesting business model that seems to support drinking and driving. If interested, would highly recommend black ankle and loew wineries.

Pros: Pretty drive to facility. Clerk at register friendly and helpful in setting up tasting to suit one's specific needs. Fruit wines are not cloyingly sweet, so we felt they would be refreshing served chilled on a warm summer afternoon. Cons: Wine was served with a scowl both times we visited by a short, dark haired woman who clearly didn't care if we enjoyed our experience or bought any wine. She gathered up my last glass before I was even finished and stomped off to take it to the sink. Also, we found the wines to be lacking in flavor across the board.

We have been doing the Maryland Wine Trial for the past year and this place certainly stands towards the top. The price for tasting was excellent value! $5 for 12 tastings (we got few free ones). The vineyards and facilities were in great condition. The wine connoisseur was very friendly and knowledgeable. She even recommended a rival vineyard to visit next. Only downside was the flexibility on the tour times. Unfortunately they were not able to give us an early tour and we couldn't wait around an hour with other vineyards to see.

I've been going here for their festivals and wine for a very long time. I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about how all their wines are so sweet. They have dozens and dozens of different types of wine to cater to all different types of preferences and palate. If you like dry red they have multiple to chose from, same for dry white and sweet wines. The service is wonderful and the events are always a great time.

Free electric car charging here from the solar panels on site. There was a beautiful Tesla S hooked up to one of the stations. Their fruit wines are unique and interesting. For example the dandelion sweet wine.

I was there for a wedding on 4/26 and I can't say enough good things about this winery. The staff was very courteous and friendly, the wine was fantastic and the location is beautiful! The indoor area where the reception was held was well lit, spacious and well kept. The food was good and every one seemed to be satisfied. Overall it was a great wedding and the Sangria was everyone's favorite!

I went to Reggae event July 20th and it was way too crowed. Too many people I felt like I should have gone to Artscape instead that was free and more stuff to do. What really blew me was the 4 drops of wine they pour for tasting...when they say taste the stick to the true meaning of taste lol. I went to sample wines and such but it took A LONG TIME TO GET A TASTE! the tasting tables were overwhelmed with people waiting for a taste, the room had a long slow line (about 25 minute wait) for about 6/7 different tastes and I wasn't expecting a port-a-pot for ladies room. The crowd was cool making the best out of the situation having fun regardless

We we made to feel welcome from the time we stepped in the door until we left. Valerie showed us the wedding barn, where the wine is made and hosted our wine tasting. Anthony generously described the entire wine making process and made the entire experience an educational event that we won't forget. With humor and enthusiasm he kept us interested and entertained as he educated us on the art of wine making. I sure do want to return to do tour the brewery that is also on the property. Wonderful place to spend a good part of the day.

Staff don't know the metric system when I asked how much wine is in the big bottle vs. the smaller bottle. They should carry wine out to the car for people.

Nice chill vineyard and brewery smack dab in the middle of nowhere. The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Tastings start at $5 a person and some of the wines are really good. I had one of their limited edition wwines called Jack Frost and enjoyed it at one of their picnic tables while taking in the lush green scenery. Very relaxing mini getaway!

This is hands down the best winery in Maryland. Tastings are affordable and offer a large variety of wines depending on the season. Bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. The wine is affordable so you can stay and have a bottle (or more) after your tasting. The tasting room and land are both beautiful. If you have people in your group who do not prefer wine, Red Shedman is just a few steps away! Highly recommended!

I love Linganore Winery. I come ever year for the reggae event. They locally make all their own wine and they often have different concoctions each year with some carry overs from the previous year. The wine tasting is around $20 and you get to sample around 10 wines so its totally worth it. Make sure you pick up at least one bottle just to support your local businesses.

If you are looking for a few people milling about tasting wine, this is NOT it. If you are looking to be with friends, meet people, grown up atmosphere, celebration good time crowd, great music, good wines and priced right then here you go. Portals are typically clean. Could have a wider spacing for tasting wine to address the crowd. Then some people are there to drink a bottle opposed to wine tasting and buy a bottle. Look forward each year. Could do a 5, a 4 just do to spacing/line for tasting.
