There isn't a better place in town! the wine, the concerts, the people. This place is as 100% as it gets. If you come to the midcoast, this is a must have. :)

This past summer was our first time at Savage Oaks Vineyard. The tasting was relaxing and unrushed and the wines were very good. The gentleman serving us was friendly and helpful. Only downside was we missed Graham Nash by a coupe of days. we will be back.

Lovely tasting room with great wines. We visit here every year and walk away with a great stock to relive our vacation by drinking throughout the year. Unlike others nearby that bring in their grapes from California, these guys grow almost all locally and it shows in their flavorful and varied wines.

Witold Witkowski

Great wine, amazing tour.

What a gem! Found this winery by searching on google. So glad we went! The tasting room is small, but it's cute. The lady doing the tastings was the owner/operator of the winery. She was very friendly and answered all our questions. She willingly let us walk back and see the vineyard along with their cattle, garden, chickens and pigs! Very fun!

Always fun to visit Savage Oakes and chat with Buddy and Holly in their beautiful setting. Looking forward to visiting the new tasting room and kitchen!

Great venue for some big acts. Saw Melissa Ethridge she was extremely entertaining. Ample Parking however leaving the parking was a mess and needs improvement. But other than that I can't say anything bad about our evening out and look forward to returning again soon.

My first time going. Very pleasant expeience. Chris Isaak was quite the entertainer. Exiting the venue was not easily done. I would go again. Glad the rain held off.

It's crazy that Cellar Door Winery gets business, coming from florida to visit my in-laws, with their recommendation they thought my husband and I would love this place. To our surprise the people working here were extremely rude, made us feel extremely uncomfortable and made us feel like they were to good for us. When we first arrived, the downstairs was full so we walked among the amazing and beautiful property, then we went upstairs and were quickly greeted with "is it full downstairs because you shouldn't be up here"; " this is a private tasting". We quickly went downstairs and tried to sit at the bar (where their were 3 open seats) and was told that we couldn't sit down "because the woman was helping someone else but was almost finished". I then made a comment "apparently everyone is too busy to even let us sit down"; the woman said "that is just how it is here". Therefore, we decided to leave, as I waited at the door, the woman came over and tried to co Vince me to stay and actually dug herself and the rest of the place in a hole. As she made comments such as: "you are not from around here", "Maine is very different than Florida", "this is our busy time". It's crazy to think that such an amazing, laid back, beautiful place that takes a little bit of drive to get to has such rude people. I would not recommend this place and I would highly recommend Savage Oaks Winery in Union which is about 20 mins from this place as they opened their door even though it was a few minutes before closing. The guy is as very helpful, the wines were very good and the scenery and property were absolutely beautiful.

Just wasted a three hour drive to find out they were out of nearly everything worth drinking. Don't trust their website, everything they said was in stock was sold out. They didn't have a single dry wine, red or white, in stock. The young kid running the tasting room wad rude and refused to answer questions. The only reason to visit this place is for Barn Red or Blue Moon and they were out of both. Very disappointing.

Kay Santorineos

Great friendly staff. Well versed on the wines. All grapes used are grown on site. Truly a Maine winery. Be sure to check out the blueberry barrens and the Belted Galloways . Great selection for tasting.

Sarah Luce

Beautiful setting for an outdoor concert. Melissa Etheridge was fantastic, of course although it was very short. An hour and a half, when they first left the stage. Then a 20 minute encore of one song. Very expensive evening. But we will go again for someone we want to go see.

Went there today for wine testing. People there are awesome. Owner giving a lecture. I learned some stuff about growing grapes. The wine taste great, ended up buying bottles of wine. Great taste

Lovely experience and great wines!!

Wines were not bad and lady doing the tasting was very friendly. They have a large selection of wines made mostly from grapes they grow, but I was not familiar with most of the varietals. Tasting room is very small.

Melissa Ethridge concert was awesome

We showed up to the winery and the owner was very friendly, opening the store when it would not typically be open during off season to give us a tasting. Wines were excellent, and the hospitality equally as wonderful. I recommend just calling before going to make sure of the hours!
