We stopped in here on our voyage from Portland to Bar Harbor. The tasting room is in a plantation-style looking house and has a really beautiful view on all sides. The wines we tasted were all really delicious. All were delicious and perfect for summer. The Pinot Gris was delicious and my mom really loved the blueberry version. It wasn’t too sweet and was very unique in taste. The woman helping us was lovely as was the owner. PLUS, they have twelve goats you are welcome to pet. Worth the quick trip from the highway!

My wife and I visited Breakwater Vineyards in August of 2016. The vineyard is located in a beautiful setting, within sight of the ocean and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. We were welcomed by the owner who took great care and pride in describing the wines to us. All the wines we sampled were delicious and we spent a very pleasant afternoon sitting on the front porch with a glass of our favorite. Well worth a visit.

Nice location, great views etc. Typical non-wine region winery in that most of the wines are not estate grown. Par for the course. That said the blueberry wine was pretty great. Got a bottle of that. The un-oaked Chardonnay was also surprisingly good and got a bottle of that. I feel like that was a couple bucks over priced for what it is, but the blueberry at $19 is just right. What a treat!

Visited your vineyard in 2014 and brought home a bottle of the 2014 Off Dry American Reisling. Opened it tonight....oh my goodness! It's been in my chiller since purchased and it's awesome!! Wish I had bought more! ❤❤❤

What a hidden gem. This place has a beautiful view of the ocean and delicious wines! We visited for our honeymoon and Jenifer, our server, was so kind. I have never experienced that type of service at a wine tasting. She was professional, yet so sweet and courteous. She congratulated us, and offered us lots of helpful information about Owl's Head as well as giving us a map, a tour book, and a pamphlet about other wineries. She knew just when she was needed, and had impeccable timing. It was a highlight of our honeymoon. Beautiful location, wonderful people, and delicious wine.

A fun and enjoyable stop. Our host was knowledgeable and provided great conversation and history. The wines were solid and varied. If your goal is to relax, have a great view and a reasonable glass of wine this is your place. No rush, no pressure, or attitudes.

We love coming to this beautiful winery and tasting room in the summer. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, plus the wines are delicious. We buy a case of the Bees Knees Honey Mead every time we go! Get a seat on the porch and enjoy the gardens while you sip your vino :)
