So as a sales rep, I go out of my way to help people. If I don’t know if we have something in stock, I walk over to where it should be and I check. I wasn’t ratting anyone out I was just suggesting they should be better informed before they flat out say no about a given product! Then some stinky dude behind a whole other counter (I didn’t go to his register because he really stunk) says so “you feel better now that you ratted her out? I was like, um I wasn’t talking to you, the man child proceeds to say “ohoh you hurt my feelings” yeah I said something and he said something and thing is my money is hard earned and i will not patronize a place that is so blatantly rude to their customers! They said I was rude um no you don’t treat customers that way! But the great part is I didn’t purchase the bottle of whiskey from them, i went to Dorignacs in Metairie and found a whole row of what i was looking for...... 4 bottles later and at a better price, my money was well spent elsewhere! And it smelled nice in there too!! The girl who first helped me was nice just misinformed.

I love Sidney's. It is the center of my world. The employees are the absolute best. They are masterfully trained in the nuances and varieties of beer and can always be counted on for a recommendation. They also offer geaux cups. The prcing at Sidney's is exquisitely matched up to Louisiana sales tax so that most items come out to exact dollar amounts. For intance, Abita beers are $1.83. So the total with tax is $2. Very uncomplicated. Less pennies. Pennies suck. Sidney's knows this. A decade or so they used to have lewd postcards but they took them out. I sort of wish they would bring them back. Sidney's also offers drip coffee, which is nice. Many of us don't want to be inundated with Alpaccinos and such. Some of us just want drip. The coffee is also $1.83. One time I went in there with cancer and came out miraculously cured. So if you have cancer, check it out. Individual results may vary though. (Mine might have actually been dried chocolate on my arm that I thought was a jagged-edged, raised mole.)
